Sometimes, all the power in the world can't solve your problems.

"Man, those ninjas work fast. Damn."

"Well Shego, Ron is basically their god on earth. So when he asked for an underground temple to be dug out they got right on it. It's not like they could doubt him or call him an impostor after that. Apparently some of them were even watching from a safe distance away." Kim said

"It's been two days!"

"Ninjas work in mysterious ways?" Kim said as a stupid joke. Which just elicited a deadpan expression from Bonnie and Shego, Ron found it hilarious though which was enough. The group then walked down the stairs to the underground shrine. The construction was simple but it looked like it would hold up for a while….plus they could just make adjustments later if need be. Sensei and Yori stood near a rock with smiles on their face. The rest of the team stood back while Ron approached.

"Do what you think is right, Stoppable-san."

Ron removed the sword that Josh had made, and that currently held Yono's essence, from over his shoulder. He hadn't let it out of his sight since he sealed Yono away. He even slept with the thing on, much to the displeasure of Shego and Bonnie. He didn't want some random ninja straggler getting their hands on it until he found a more permanent solution to deal with it, and none were stupid enough to try and take it from him by force. He looked around once more at everyone before plunging the sword deep into the stone, Then he touched the stone and made his eyes glow before pouring a massive amount of his energy into the stone. It made him a little tired but the energy would replenish with some good old rest in an actual bed.

"See you later Sensei and Yori. Let's go guys. GJ probably already has a jet waiting on us."

"Uh, Ron. Are you sure it's safe with you just leaving it there? A rock is great and all but this isn't old England. Someone could just hit the rock with a sledgehammer." Josh said in his usual paranoid fashion.

Ron waved his hand lazily toward the stone. "Go ahead. Take it."

Josh hopped towards it and attempted to pull it out but it wouldn't even move a single centimeter. Yori shrugged at her sensei as she could sense how futile it was. "Uh, Kim. Little help? You know how freakishly strong Ron is."

"Alright." Kim said a little sheepishly. Knowing Ron he had some stupid contingency plan in place and she didn't want to get hit in the face by a spirit monkey tail or something. They both put a foot on the stone and pulled on the sword but it was no use. If anything they felt the floor move slightly under the pressure they were putting on the rock.

"Stand back Kim." Josh said. He entered a stance for a very hard punch and Kim jumped away. Ron yawned as he had a fairly good idea of what was about to happen. Josh punched the rock and in the instant he touched it it glowed blue and repelled him across the room into the far wall. He fell flat on his face once gravity took over and he just laid on the ground.

Shego stood over him and facepalmed. "Jesus fucking Christ are you WEE agents stupid or something? Did they devote your one brain cell to just killing and methods for that? If the rock was just a normal rock it would have broken when you, or you and Kim tried pulling on the magic sword and stepping on it with all your strength."

"Oh." Josh said before giving a thumbs up and letting his hand lazily flop back down to the floor.

Ron cringed slightly. She lacked tact but in her own way his new girlfriend was being nice. She didn't want him to get hurt in the future because he didn't take a second to think things through. They gave Josh a couple of minutes to get up then walked outside. There Dr. Betty Director was waiting for them with a surprising number of agents.

"Hello Stoppable and Possible, we'll take it from here. Thanks for all your hard work."

"No prob Bob." Ron said jokingly to the director and smiled at Kim before walking towards the jet. Only to hear a scuffle behind him. He turned to see Global Justice agents roughly grabbing Shego and Josh.

"What's going on?" Kim said.

"Mrs. Possible, they were useful in this instance, but they are dangerous criminals that need to be kept under lock and key. Perhaps we could work out more missions for them to get more years off their likely extremely lengthy sentences, but I will not allow them to simply roam free."

Shego lit up her palms but as soon as she did the agents lifted up their massive guns and aimed right at her head. "I wouldn't miss Goh. We are aware of how powerful you've become, but these Ion rifles will still hurt you. Badly. You can enter the ship on your own accord or in a coma. Your choice." Shego growled but did as she was told and lowered her arms. "Personally I would have gone for the rail guns, but my assistant noted that your new friends may not like seeing you filled with holes."

"Mrs Betty…." Bonnie said.

"Dr. Betty." She corrected in a sharp tone.

"Dr. Betty, they just saved the world, doesn't that get them a little slack?"

"Of course it does. They might see sunlight before they hit eighty."

The director never saw Ron take her back. Before she realized it Ron had his arms wrapped around her neck and was almost cheek to cheek with her. His arms were loose, so it didn't feel as if she was being restrained, but she definitely knew she couldn't move.

"Mr. Stoppable, while admittedly I am aware of how handsome you are, I'm working at the moment." She said with a smirk.

"Cut the bullshit."

"Excuse me?"

"Spy training 101, if you know you can't win, create a distraction so one of your partners can create an opening, right?"

Betty grinned/ "You're good, but are you sure you want to go down this road Stoppable?"

"Oh, I'm sure I do. I'm also sure about something else. You're going to let Shego and Josh go today."

"Am I? You'll have to kill me before that happens." She said in an almost condescending tone.

Ron smirked and ran his right hand up his arm, which allowed him to lightly brush his thumb across the director's neck. It was small, almost imperceptible really, but he did feel her jump. She was putting on a brave face, but she was afraid of him.

"Kim can handle Josh, I can handle Shego. They deserve a second chance. Josh was a slave. He had no choice in the matter. He could have had one if you could control your own brother, but you can't"

"What are you saying Mr. Stoppable?"

"I'm saying unless everyone leaves here today free, and uninjured, that the media might get an exposee about how the so called leader of the defenders of the planet can't even keep her own brother from making child soldiers and conducting painful and possibly lethal experiments on them."

Begrudgingly, she motioned for her men to lower their weapons, and Ron relaxed his hug a bit more."If they slip back into their old ways GJ will not hesitate to take them down, and we will throw them in a hole so deep that you'll begin to question if they ever existed in the first place. Is that understood?

"Crystal." Ron said with a confident smile. Unknowingly his tail grew a mind of its own once again. It was happy that Shego and Josh were safe, so it began stroking Betty's cheek. Ron let go of her and began goofily scratching his head.

Betty turned around while the tail continued rubbing her cheek. Admittedly it was soft, but that was beside the point. "I'm not even going to ask."

One month later

Shego was the first to awaken. She put on one of Ron's baggy black T shirt's, which was the only thing she wore aside from some panties. She slipped downstairs and grabbed some orange juice and put some toast in the toaster. She smiled to herself. She never imagined life could….not suck. For once she was actually happy.

Working for Drakken had its ups and down. The big down being she was almost constantly on the run avoiding GJ, and had to spend weeks or months in prison at a time before she could find a way to break out. She wouldn't exactly say that working for Drakken made her happy either. It was exciting in that it accelerated her heart rate due to all the dangerous shit they did. Constant fights and explosions that may or may not kill or maim you are always good ways to get the blood flowing. Being with Ron and Bonnie actually made her feel things that she thought she lost years ago…...After that incident with her family.

Thinking about her family made her shut her eyes tight, she leaned over and grabbed the sink, hard. She tried to remain conscious of her strength but it was becoming difficult. Just when tears started to form she felt a kiss on her cheek and found herself wrapped in a hug.

"It's okay Sheila." They said while stroking Shego's hair.

Sheila did a little laugh cry and sniffled. "Ugh, Ron is right, you really are too sweet sometimes."

Bonnie kissed the side of her face into her hair. "Only for my babes. Why don't you sit down and I'll make some omelets. Two pieces of bread isn't breakfast."

"Damn you're a chef too?"

"I picked up a few things from Ron, but I feel like every functioning adult should be able to cook." She said while giving Sheila a side eye.

"Hey, I can make ramen and stuff." Shego said confidently.

Bonnie held the bridge of her nose and closed her eyes. "That's great Sheila." From what she understood her family cooked for her, then the henchman did. Whenever she ate at home she got takeout or something. Money wasn't really an object for her due to how much she got paid for her evil gigs. It was still wasteful and kind of annoying to her. After she whipped the eggs and put them in the skillet she began talking to Sheila more in depth while cutting up the chicken.

"You know, the two or three times a week you spend here sometimes you talk in your sleep."

"Do I?" She said with her skin blushing dark green.

"Usually it's not coherent. Sometimes you talk about being a monster."

"You know those nightmares."She said rather unconvincingly."

"I just want you to know that either of us is here whenever you're ready to talk."

"Thanks." Sheila muttered.

Bonnie grinned to herself. Outside of combat Shego was what one would call a woman of few words. She didn't like being vulnerable emotionally since she thought that made her weak, but she felt as if her and Ron were finally getting through to her that she didn't need to be strong all the time. She flipped the omelet in half and crisped both sides a little before giving it to Sheila and giving her a nice and slow good morning kiss on the lips. Her face said it all when Sheila instantly looked at the ground while muttering out a thank you and blushing. She joked to herself sometimes that she had the two most powerful people she ever met wrapped around her little finger and she didn't really have to do much to knock them off balance. They're still human after all.

Shego started on her meal and turned to the stove again as she was about to resume cooking, only to see two semi familiar faces standing in front of her. They dropped their suitcases and Shego looked up as well. Bonnie and Shego both put on cutesy smiles before Bonnie spoke.

"Hello Mr. And Mrs. Stoppable!"

"How dare you bring two shikshas into our fucking house Ronald! You don't even know these women! Look, you made your mother cry." Mr. Stoppable pointed to his wife that was rocking back and forth with her hands over her eyes.

"Don't call my girlfriends that."

"Oh. Girlfriends, We leave for a few months and you go off and become a player huh? You're a big man now. A real big man."

"I'm not a player….It just kind of happened. I love both of them." Ron said while rubbing the back of his neck. The room fell silent for a moment before his mother dramatically began ugly crying again.

"Love? Love!? How could you love them? What could have possibly happened in the short time we were gone?"

Ron covered his face now. He was so angry he began laughing. "A short time? You've been gone a year. I had to register myself for school!"

"Don't get smart with me Ronald, we kept a roof over your head and food in the fridge. You were taken care of while we were gone, and this is how you repay us? By turning this into a whore house?"

"Listing off things you have to do by default doesn't make you a better parent. You certainly weren't paying for my car note, or for the dates I had with Bonnie and Sheila."

"Bonnie and Sheila? They even sound like hookers!" His mom said before going back to crying again.

Ron swore he heard a laugh upstairs. Or maybe that was just him being too hopeful that they weren't taking what his parents were saying personally. "I'd appreciate if you quit calling them names like that."

"Names like what? What they are?"

He held the bridge of his nose even harder now. Bonnie back in her heyday couldn't have annoyed him nearly this much. "How can you sit there and judge two people that I chose when you don't even know them. They're both perfect in their own ways."

Mrs. Stoppable finally toned the crying down a bit and began speaking clearly, despite her teary eyes. "Ronald. I never thought I would have to say this, but stop thinking with your dick. Every man says they want two women for the sex, but you're not going to convince me that two girls in their right mind that are good for you and your future chose to be with you on their own accord. Grow up."

Surprisingly, Ron began laughing. He laughed as if that was the funniest thing he had ever heard in his entire life. When they asked what on earth he was laughing about he replied with "You're right, it is time for me to grow up. I am eighteen now."

"I'm glad you're starting to see some sense Ronald. We will have to punish you for even bringing that into our house...but maybe we can..."

"And as a grown up, I'm choosing to leave. You obviously aren't going to let this go, and I'd rather sleep in my car until I find my own place than hear you say one more disparaging thing about them. Bonnie, Sheila, lets go."

It seemed as if they knew what Ron would do ahead of time, as any clothing or other items they had stored here had been hastily thrown into a few trash bags and suitcases. Along with what he guessed were a few of his things, and his little buddy. They began dragging things out to his impala, but his mother gave him a stern warning.

"If you walk out that door Ronald, don't bother coming back."

Ron huffed out a short breath laugh before shutting the door. "Don't count on it."

Author's note: Sorry for the four month delay. I just felt like I needed a break from this story to continue writing it at a quality level. Hopefully the next few chapters will have been worth the wait.
