A/N: Hey everyone! Well, I know it's been a while since I've update anything so I'm giving all my fans a small treat: a poem! We're doing a Romeo and Juliet unit in English class and an assignment was to write a sonnet, and here I am. So, unbeknownst to my English teacher, I personally based this off of a Hermione/Draco relationship that is hidden from everyone around them. Though I chose those two characters particular, you can plug in whoever you'd like if you believe them in predicament such as this. It is in the female's point of view though. Enjoy!
Together
His hand brushes against mine and a shudder runs through me
My own eyes bore into his as we gaze into each other's soul
I see his pain, his joy, his hate, and his love
Then I wonder, how lucky I must be
I could only imagine how many others wish to have a love as strong as our own.
He smiles and I melt
Our worries are shaded over with a faced of false hope that suggests our acceptance in our minds
Yet, we both know secrecy is our only means of togetherness
Our silent understanding; we are not ashamed
Publicity is exempted from our choices and our bond is unknown because of only love
I continue to walk and savior the proximity
Moments like these are rare for us and each second is cherished equally as sacred
So we walk, away from wandering eyes
We walk – together, and in love
