The couple sat at the dinner table, actually speaking to each other in a civilized conversation. Stolas brought up an idea that would be hard to pull, but so fun to do.
"Stella. I know this is going to be a long step, but I think… we should visit Earth for our trip."
Stolas lets out.
"Are you fucking stupid? If we get caught-"
"We won't, Stella. Remember? We have human disguises!" Stolas reminds his wife.
"Yes, but what about our daughter? Does she know how to do hers?" Stella says dumbfounded
"Worry not dear. I can teach her." Stolas says while putting a finger in the air.
"Stolas… It is not that easy to do." Stella tries to warn, but the other demon doesn't listen. He's going to do it anyway.
The prince stands up, combing his hair with his fingers. His wife, whom is becoming more angry at him every second, couldn't fathom what the fuck was her husband thinking? Does he have no common sense, or does he have a deathwish? Well, deathwish or not, she couldn't do much to stop him.
The prince walks down the halls of the manor, this time around with no loud music coming from the princess' room. He knocks, and unlike previously, the door came wide open. The girl was actually smiling. Stolas doesn't typically see her like this, he must be doing something right.
"Via, I talked with your mother, and I told her that we should go to Earth!" The prince says, eyes still squinting in cheer.
"You mean… the mortal realm..? Dad. WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU THINKING? ARE YOU TRYING TO GET US KILLED?" The princess screams.
Wow. Every person in his life right now has screamed at him today. He keeps forcing smiles, but deep down, having his family and Blitzo yell at him… it hurts.
"Via, please understand. We are able to do things that many demons can not. I don't know if you knew, but we are able to put on a human disguise… to blend in with the mortals." Stolas explains.
"Wait, really? I mean I knew that Overlords, hellhounds, succubi, and some others could do so, but we can?" Octavia asks.
"Yes Via, though we may not exactly be Overlords, we still possess great power over many other demons. You don't realize how strong you are!" Stolas adds.
After having this discussion with his daughter, the prince then goes on to teach his daughter how she can pull off her human disguise. She has trouble at first, but then she finally pulls it off for the first time.
Woosh!
There the princess was standing, her human disguise shown. It looks very similar to her actual demon owl appearance, but if you had never seen her demon appearance, you would just think she's some emo teenager. Her skin was pale, but not too extremely. Her pink eyes turned to regular human eyes, with light grey irises. Her hair was also grey, but darker, similar to her actual hair color.
"Wow! You look just like a human!" Stolas exclaims, almost tearing at how proud he was of his daughter's quick learning.
"Ugh," the princess scoffs. She looks into the mirror, and wow, she actually didn't look as bad as she would have thought.
"Okay Dad, can I change back now?" Octavia says, wanting her father to leave her room, and call her when they were to actually leave.
"Yes, of course, but we can not change back when we are on Earth. Humans are very creepy, and they will stalk people." The prince adds, with some weary to his expression.
The princess turns back into her actual self, and plops on her bed. Stolas leaves the room not too soon afterwards.
The prince feels odd. Not that it has to do with his daughter or wife, but his instincts kick in. He can sense that something is happening, and he wouldn't be wrong, because while all of this was happening, it was unbeknownst to Stolas that Blitzo was listening to everything.
