It was time. The family had their human disguises on, and their bags filled with necessities. The prince already cashed in for some currency that can be used on Earth, but the issue is the people there use different currencies depending on where you visit. Luckily, Stolas knew this, and so he cashed in for some of the more major currencies. The United States Dollar, The Euro, The Japanese Yen, and the Great Britain Pound. He also bought some of the mortal's phones for him and his family, it felt necessary to buy the newest iPhone.

The prince made plans to visit about 10 countries, all of them using these currencies. The prince looked at his wife, then his daughter. His daughter was smiling at him. Wow. Never in an eternity could he have thought to see her so happy. Blitzo snuck up behind, being as silent as possible, the family unaware of the imp's presence.

The princesses and prince walk through the portal, Blitzo sneaking in silently just before it closes. Stolas had already known what country they were going to visit first. The United States! The hot spot for tourists everywhere on Earth. The country was known for their diverse cultures, customs, landscapes, and more. Stolas felt like this was the perfect appetizer to ease the family into their global visit.

The family walks out of the portal, Stolas having made sure that the portal was in an area not too populated. The imp falls out, hitting a trash bag and quickly sneaking to hide behind it before being caught.

The family is dressed in a nice fashion, almost like your average middle-class American family. They walk out of the alleyway into Times Square.

Woah, where are we? The mother and daughter thought alike.

"Welcome to New York City, everyone!" The prince exclaims, his smile larger than you can imagine.

"Wow Dad. This is beautiful!" The younger princess says. The older one remained quiet, why should she speak to him?

They walked throughout the populous city, shocked by the size of everything. They take a ferry from Manhattan to Queens, exploring its beauties, then walking down to Brooklyn. Something catches the young princesses eyes.

Hot Topic? I hear sinners talk about this place all the time… It's like Stylish Occult, right? She thinks.

"Dad. Look. We need to go there!" She says, pointing in the direction of the store. The father looks at the store in a confused fashion, but overall is content with fulfilling his daughter's wish.

"Here Via, this should be plenty. I'll be taking your mother to a restaurant. We'll call you if we need anything." Stolas says, handing Octavia 350 dollars in cash.

The princess is eager as ever to check out the store. She walks in and automatically feels at home. Of course, nothing beats the odd clothes and especially questionable taxidermy of Stylish Occult, but nonetheless, she's very happy with the store. She walks into the store and is greeted with the very gothic employees.

There were two employees. One of them was a girl named Alexandra, and the other was a guy named Rickie. The two actually were dating, and met each other via their job.

"Hey! Is there anything you need help with?" The female employee asks, with a smug but happy tone.

"Errm, nah, I'm just looking for some clothes to take back home. It's better to wear the clothes that no one else has," Octavia says, smiling at the politeness of the employee.

"Oh cool! Where are you from?" The employee asks.

Octavia felt an internal gut punch.

Shit! What should I say? Fuck all I know about human cities. I'll just make something up.

"I'm from- Johns- ville..?" The princess says, clearly thinking of the most stereotypical name she could.

"That's cool, I've never heard of that place, but it sounds dope!" The employee exclaims with joy.

"Sure is!" The princess 'cheers', just glad that that was over.

Walking through the store, Octavia found a shirt that really fit what she wanted. It's indescribable by word, you just know it's it. She grabs the shirt, taking it to the cash register. She's greeted by the aforementioned Rickie.

"Sup, this all?" Rickie asks smugly, similarly to his girlfriend.

"Yeah, how much?"

"Well, to be honest, this is usually about 50 bucks, but I'll give you a discount. My girlfriend really likes you." The male employee adds.

"Oh, your girlfriend? Did I miss something?" Octavia asks.

"Ohhh, my bad, my girlfriend is the girl that you were just talking to." The employee says, feeling dumb by having not told her.

"I see. How much though?" The princess asks, still without an answer.

"How about 35?" Rickie asks.

"Sounds good." Octavia cheers, for real this time.

The princess slides four 10 dollar bills to the cashier, and receives a 5 back in change. She leaves the store, waving at the employees.

Wow, those guys were so nice. If only I could be friends with them.

"Where do you want to go, Stella?" The prince asks, attempting to get his wife's attention. She scoffs.

"Whatever means the least amount of time around you." Stella answers, still very pissed. When is she not?

"Well, I want to try these weird 'fast food' places sinners always blabber about. Let's go to that McDonald's place, I've heard about that one the most." Stolas adds, practically dragging his wife along.

"Hi, what can I get started for you today, sir?" The teenage employee adds.

"Well. We aren't from around here, so what is something that is fulfilling enough for me and my wife. I'd love to try!" Stolas says enthusiastically to the employee, while the aforementioned wife looks away with a mean face and crossed arms.

"Ok sir, we have just that! That'll be abooooouuuttt- $12.53. Your order number will be 578." The employee says whilst handing the prince his receipt.

The 'couple' sit, awaiting their meal. It's only really about a minute or two until they get their food. I guess it truly is 'fast' food!

A new employee walks towards the couple, holding a tray with many boxes. He sets down the plate and wishes them a fine dining experience, rather the finest you can really get with McDonald's.

The prince opens the large box facing him, uncovering a sandwich.

"Ah, so this is the Big Mac I hear sinners speak of. Oh well, I hope it's appetizing! Wouldn't want to waste our money on subpar dining." Stolas says, wife still silent.

The prince grabs the sandwich, looking kind of scared to take a bite, but eventually gives in.

The taste of the sandwich isn't awful per se, but it's not nearly as good as he had hoped. He can't be too mad at the taste. For the price, the sandwich isn't bad, and if you are not too large on money, this is edible.

Stolas can only get three bites into the sandwich before giving up. He goes to reach for the drink. The drink was Coca-Cola. Of course, Hell has its own version, but Stolas was eager to try the version humans are so fond of. He takes a sip.

Wow! Not bad, not bad one bit! The drink was better than Hell's version. I mean the original is just better sometimes. Unlike the sandwich, Stolas actually finishes his drink.

While Stolas was eating, his wife was too busy being pissed off to even eat.

"Stella, I know you aren't too happy with me, but you need to eat." Stolas says firmly.

"I'm not hungry." She says, her head tilted to the right, avoiding eye contact.

"Very well." Stolas lets out with a huff. He grabs the food and puts it in the to-go bag they were given.

Their phones buzzed. It was a notification.

ARMED ROBBER SPOTTED AT HOT TOPIC IN MILLS BASIN. CONSIDERED HIGHLY DANGEROUS. AVOID AREA AT ALL COSTS.

The couple's heart sank. They both looked at each other with the same thought. Though Octavia had already left the store, her parents did not know of this, and they'd never been so scared.

"OH SHIT!" Octavia screams. She had to do something. Her 'friends' were in danger.

The princess runs down the streets of Brooklyn, running red crossing lights and nearly being hit by cars on multiple occasions, but she could care less. If she lets those poor people die, who knows what else can happen in this city.
