AN I wanted to do a chapter with Saphira dealing with being hurt, but I couldn't get it right, so I gave up on that, did a time jump, and explain a little about it in the chapter.

Chapter 31: Morag
Saphira stood in front of the mirror looking at her reflection; she wore light grey pants with light blue and pink patches on the bottom of the legs with a pixie skirt wrap across her waist made to be uneven and look patched up; it was light grey, pink, and light blue, with diamond sets all over it; she also had a bra on but no shirt. Saphira had yet to put her top on because she was looking at her scar.
Saphira thought she would hate having a permanent scar on either side of her body, but she didn't, yeah she rather them not be there, but as Thor said, it was a sign of how brave Saphira was. It's funny out of everyone; it was Thor who had been the one to give her comfort about her scars; he was right; they didn't make her ugly and showed she was a fighter. After a moment, Saphira turned sideways and tried to see the one on her back, but it was hard to see; she couldn't turn her head that way.
At the moment she was standing in her and Loki's room, on the spaceship belonging to Magneto, they were flying through space, it had just needed a few repairs and updating to start running, Mystique with the help from Loki, Kurt, and a little from Remy, took care of it, and they even added a few new things to make being stuck on it more comfortable. They had decided Mystique, Kurt, Loki, Remy, and Saphira would go to space and find the rest of the Infinity Stones. Thor and Enid would locate Loki's scepter since SHIELD lost the damn thing, and Rogue had told the X-MEN there might be a threat from outside Earth. Thor let the Avengers know the same thing, both leaving out details about Saphira and Loki's involvement; they decided to wait until they had left Midgard to reveal that to their teammates.
Saphira signed and turned from the mirror; as the door opened and Loki walked in; he closed the door once he entered, then leaned against the cabinets that lined the wall.
"Looks like I got here just in time." Loki teased as he crossed his arms. Saphira rolled her eyes and turned from him.
"You are not funny, dear husband," Saphira told him, walking over to wear her top laid to put it on. It matched her pants and cut off at the bottom to show her stomach long sleeves hooked to her middle finger covering most of her hand; the top also had diamond sets on it. It was a part of a new style Saphira was trying; she had decided to embrace her Ljofsalfar side more, look more like an elf, since she was no longer legally an Asgardain citizen. She even started introducing herself as being from Alfheim.
"Really? And here I thought you married me for my sense of humor." Loki joked. Saphira smirked as she lifted her hair out of her shirt.
"I married you because I wanted to be queen," Saphira replied. Loki laughed.
"Ah, that is why," Loki answered. Saphira winked at him, and Loki smiled. "You could have left the shirt off. I would not have minded."
"Of course not, your highness." Saphira teased as she turned from him and went back to the mirror to see how she looked.
"Do not forget to put on shoes, darling." Loki reminded her.
Saphira groaned at having to put on shoes as she went over to the cabinet on the other side of the room, opened a door, pulled open a drawer, and started digging around for a while; she got annoyed and just started tossing all the cloths out. Then shut the drew, opened the one under it, and started doing the same.
"What in the name of Odin, are you doing?" Loki demanded, just as a shirt smacked him in the face.
"Oops, sorry." Saphira giggled as Loki tossed her shirt onto the bed, then frowned as he looked around at the mess Saphira made.
"Is there a reason you are tossing your clothes around our chambers?" Loki asked, looking up at Mischief, sitting on top of the cabinet with a sock on his head, glaring down at them. Thor had almost begged Saphira not to take the cat with her, having become attached to the feline, but as it was her cat, Saphira didn't want to leave him behind again.
"I am trying to find a certain pair of socks," Saphira explains, "But I...no wait, just found them." She pulled out a pair of grey socks and shut the drew back.
"Was the mess necessary?" Loki demanded as Saphira grabbed her boots, then sat on the bed to put them on; they were dark grey ankle boots.
"Probably not," Saphira replied as she slipped on a sock, then put on her boot and pulled her pant leg down over it.
Loki got off the cabinet and walked around to the front, and opened the door, to get out his jacket; just as there was a knock on their door, Loki waved his hand towards it, and it opened to reveal Remy standing there; he stepped in the room.
"Hey, Rem Rem, " Saphira greeted him with a smile as she slipped on her other boot.
"Mystique told me to tell you two we are almost there," Remy said, looking around at the mess. "What have you been...never mind, I don't want to know."
"You ready, darling," Loki asked, ignoring Remy's ramblings as he put the jacket on, then reached in and picked up his helmet.
"Let me fix my hair," Saphira replied, grabbing her hairbrush and going back to the mirror and started brushing her hair. Afterward, she pulled it around the front and started braiding it.
"There is a quicker way to make that, love," Loki said; Saphira looked at him, then nodded, and Loki set green magic towards her, and it swirled around her head; when it was gone, her hair was in a perfect braid. Saphira smiled and pulled the braid around, so it was going down her front.
"Thank you, baby," Saphira said, picking up her cloak; it was also new, a silvery grey color; came to her waist and had a small hood, with two tiny holes on the side for the points of her ears to stick through.
"I don't think I ever noticed how pointy your ears were until you started wearing that," Remy remarked, walking over to Saphira; he lightly flicked her ear; Saphira covered it with his hand and smacked his hand away.
"Stop that." She demanded.
"LeBeau, if you want to keep your hand, you'll never do that again," Loki warned, giving him a look; Remy smirked and held up his hands in mock surrender.
"No need for hand cutting; I just came to let you know we are almost there," Remy said they had been in space about two months now, and Remy LeBeau had grown to enjoy teasing Loki and making him mad every chance he got, especially since Loki could still be overprotective of Saphira sometimes even though she has recovered and was doing well.
It had taken Saphira four months to recover from her injuries fully; they had moved from Enid's casino to Saphira's house, Remy and Rogue had gone home, and Kurt had gone back to Xavier's school but did pop in every other day to visit, sometimes Remy was with him. By the second week in the second month, Saphira and Loki had their very first full-blown argument; Saphira was miserable, still in some pain, and hated being hurt and was bored with nothing to do, and not allowed to go anywhere, she wasn't getting much sleep due to either pain or nightmares. Saphira's moods were all over the place, going from grumpy and snapping at everyone to not wanting to be around anyone and just lying in bed.
Loki had been so sweet during it all and took good care of her while she recovered; Saphira was grateful for him. She appreciated his help, but once she got to where she could start doing things on her own, Loki wouldn't allow it, fearing she would injury herself further; already being in a bad mood, and since Saphira had always been independent, it started getting to her, making her feel useless and helpless, Saphira had already been feeling worthless for losing to Malekith, that Loki had to step in and save her, things her father used to say to her started popping up in her head. Then there was the fact she was sure Enid and Thor were keeping something from her, something big; it all became too much.
One day Saphira was in a terrible mood and couldn't take Loki being overprotective anymore and snapped at him; when Loki got over his surprise, he argued back he was only taking care of her and didn't understand why she was so upset with him, Saphira started yelling at him, Loki, not one to take being yelled at for no reason, started yelling back, then Saphira started screaming at him to get out of her room, that she didn't want to see him at that moment; Thor and Enid came running in to break up their argument, Thor led Loki out so Saphira could cool off and Enid stayed to talk to Saphira try to find out why they were yelling, still upset and mad, Saphira had snapped at Enid to mind her own business, Enid had said fine and stormed out of Saphira's room.
Not long after Enid left the room, Thor had come charging in, told her to shut up before she could even order him to get out, then went on to tell her off; Thor told Saphira if something was bothering her, she should have explained it to Loki instead of keeping it to herself until she blew up at him. And that everyone there was trying to help her, and she was ungrateful. None of them deserved her attitude, especially not Enid and not Loki; she needed to change it and change it quickly, she was acting like a spoilt child, and if she kept on, he would take Enid to Asgard and leave her sitting there wallowing in her self-pity.
After Saphira got over her shock of Thor yelling at her, she felt terrible and asked him to tell Loki to come there so she could apologize and talk to him; her heart snuck when he informed her Loki had left and no one knew where he went or when he will be back or if he'll even come back, when Thor left her room Saphira laid down and cried, thinking she had messed things up with Loki, especially when he did not return that night.
It wasn't until the following day Saphira and Loki made up; Saphira had been lying in bed staring at the wall, refusing to talk to anyone, when so someone came walking into the room when she looked up to see who had walked in, she saw Loki standing there holding a single red rose, he held it out to her and said only two words, "Forgive me."
Saphira ignoring the pain it caused her, jumped out of bed and ran to Loki and hugged him while saying she was so sorry; Loki had hugged her back, and they had just stood there holding each other for the longest time. When they finally pulled back after several minutes, Saphira had broken down and told Loki everything that was bothering her, from Loki being overprotective to her still trying to deal with the fact she almost died, Loki promised to try to stop being so protective and let her do more things on her own and to be there for her when she needed someone to talk to, Saphira promised to try to stop being cranky and to tell him when something was bothering her instead of keeping it to herself.
Thinking of that day made Saphira look over at the shelf on the far left side of the room; the red rose Loki had given her that day was sitting there, incase in ice; after a few days and the rose had bloomed out beautifully, Loki had put the rose inside the ice, but a spell on it so it will never melt no matter what. Saphira had mentioned she wished it would never welt and die, so Loki had come up with an idea, now they used it as a reminder That though they may have arguments sometimes, they would always forgive each other and always find their way back to each other no matter how long or what pulled them apart.
Loki walked up to Saphira and put his arms around her, and kissed the top of her head. They were on their way to a planet called Morag; before leaving Midgard, the name just popped in Saphira's head, she was sure it meant something, and after leaving Midgard, Loki did some investigating and discovered there might be an Infinity Stone there. So, they figured it must be something to do with her connection to them telling Saphira where to go.
"You are cleaning this mess up later, right?" Loki asked, motioning to the room.
"At some point, probably," Saphira answered; Loki smiled a little at her answer as Saphira walked towards the door, then stopped, turned around to face him, and lifted her hands.
"Or you can, you know, wiggle your fingers and make green magic appear and have the clothes put themselves back up." Saphira grinned as she wiggled her fingers.
Loki rolled his eyes as she turned and walked out of the room. Loki looked around at the mess, sighed, then waved his hand, green magic came from his fingers and surrounded Saphira's clothes, and they began to fold and put themselves away.
"Neat little trick, mon ami, " Remy said, "I could use you next time Chere decides the apartment needs a spring cleaning."
Loki gave Remy a dirty look as he walked past him to the door, then turned around and said. "I am not your friend." he then walked out of the room.
Remy looked up at Mischief, who was staring down at him from on top of the cabinet. He nodded towards the door. "A bit of a grouch, isn't he?"
The cat gave a meow as if answering Remy; he smiled then walked out of the room.
Saphira was halfway down the corridor when Loki caught up with her by sneaking up behind her, grabbing her from behind, and spinning her around; Saphira laughed as Loki set her back on her feet; he then pulled her hood off her head and started kissing her neck.
"Loki, " Saphira giggled when he started to nibble. "Stop that; it tickles." Loki gave her neck one last kiss, then pulled away; Saphira turned to face him, put her arms around the back of his neck and pulled him closer to her, and started kissing him.
"Not in the corridor," Remy said as he walked up to them. "You just left your room, and from the looks of it..."
"Remy, shut up," Saphira said; she pulled away from Loki and swatted at Remy, who avoided her hit, and laughed as he walked on ahead of them.
"We should have left him on Midgard," Loki said, taking Saphira's hand, and together walked to the front of the spaceship where the controls and seats were.
"You guys are just in time; we are about to land, " Kurt told them, as all three sat down and buckled in.
Moments later, Loki, Saphira along with Remy, Kurt, and Mystique were walking around what looked like a deserted planet; nobody or nothing was around, except for rat-like creatures that kept running past them, at least where they were Saphira frowned; maybe they had been wrong about this place, but then why else would she think of the name of the planet, Saphira was sure she never even heard of Morag before.
"Are you sure this is Morag?" Loki looked at Mystique and demanded.
"This is where the ship brought us when I put the name of the planet in the computer, so it has to be." Mystique answered. Saphira knew Loki still had conflicting feelings about Mystique, and at the moment, was using her to help find the stones. But she hoped he would start to like her as she did.
"There is nothing here," Loki argued.
"Maybe that's why someone put the stone here." Saphira spoke up, "Whoever put it here thought it would be safe because there is no one here to find it...but..."
"But what, sweetheart?" Loki asked, laying his hand on her back.
"I don't think it's here," Saphira answered, "I don't feel anything powerful...I think it was here, but it isn't anymore."
"I hate when that happens," Remy added. "When another thief beats you to what you were going to steal."
"Happen to you often, did it?" Loki asked, smirking.
"Not, really, mon ami, Remy is too good of a thief," Remy replied.
"Stop talking like that," Loki demanded.
"Talking like what?" Remy asked.
"Referring to yourself in the third person, it's absurd," Loki replied.
"Ha, this coming from the God who always has to introduce himself dramatically," Remy said, then his voice changed to a horrible imitation of Loki's. "I am Loki of Asgard, and you should be kneeling to me, you peasants."
"Keep it up," Loki warned, making a dagger appear. "And Rogue will be a willow by the time this mission is over."
"Calm down, mon ami; Remy is only joking," Remy replied, not sounding scared at all. "Learn to take a joke, stop being so serious, loosen up, no? Enjoy a laugh."
"Remy, please," Saphira said, laying her hand on his arm. "Loki will stab you; he's not just threatening."
"Alright, soeur, I will stop," Remy replied, putting his arm around Saphira's shoulder. "You have no reason to worry about ole Remy; he and Loki will be best buds by the time we find all those stones."
"I doubt that," Mystique replied, having heard what he said, and Saphira started laughing.
"Hey, Loki." Kurt suddenly called; the three looked to see him perched on the top of a tree. He pointed straight. "There is a temple-like building going straight that way, might hold some answers."
"How far ahead?" Loki asked; Kurt gave an estimated answer, and Loki told him to come down and teleport Remy and Mystique there; while he takes Saphira, he did as Loki asked. They all appeared seconds later in front of what looked like something out of an Indiana Jones movie.
"This place is creepy," Saphira said; Loki dropped her hand and slowly went in, Saphira followed, the other three behind her; it was a bit dark in the building so, Saphira held out her hand and made flame appear and looked around, there had been a fight in there recently they all could tell by damage to the building and the few bodies that laid on the ground.
"Looks like we are too late." Mystique said as Saphira walked up to a round stone thing in front of the back wall.
"It was here, the Power Stone," Saphira said, reaching her hand out over it. "I can feel the leftover power from it. Someone took it." at that moment, one of the bodies on the ground groaned; they looked his way, and Mystique grinned.
"One is still alive." Mystique replied and walked over to him and kicked him, making the man groan in pain." Hey, what happened here?"
The guy looked up at her but didn't answer. Loki walked over to him, grabbed him by the collar, jerked him up, then slammed him against the wall, then made a dagger appear in his other hand, and put it to the guy's neck.
"I believe the lady asked you a question." Loki told him, "Answer it; we want to know what happened here and what happened to the thing that was in that stone altar."
"We arrived here..." The guy began, sounding like he was in pain. "My boss had orders from someone else. I don't know who to get what he called an orb from this place; when we got here, a thief was already here stealing it."
"Are you saying one guy did all this?" Saphira demanded, waving her hand around the room.
"He had weird weapons, tricks; he tricked us and got away with the orb." The guy said.
"Who was this guy?" Loki asked, "Did he have a name?"
"Called himself, Star-Lord." The guy said, and Saphira started laughing.
"Star-Lord?" She demanded, "Like he's the Lord of Stars or something?"
"Was he working for anyone?" Loki demanded, "Did he say? Are you sure he was alone?"
"Yes, he was by himself, and No, he didn't say much of anything, " The guy answered. "Claim he was a junker, but he wore Ravager cloths."
"Ravager?" Kurt asked.
"They're like space pirates; they go planet to planet, stealing, rubbing, sometimes killing." Mystique explained.
"So, these Ravagers have my stone?" Saphira demanded; Loki signed and let the guy go and stood up; he ran his hand through his hair; he didn't like it when Saphira referred to the Infinity Stones as hers; something about it didn't sit right with him.
"I doubt it, at least not yet." Remy replied, "I bet this Star-Lord still has it; we leave now, we may be able to catch up to him." He looked around, "From the looks of things, all this happened two, three days ago."
"How would we catch up to him if he's been gone that long?" Saphira demanded."He could have gone anywhere."
"Well, we aren't going to find him just standing around here." Loki said, "Might as well leave since the stone is gone."
"Hang on, just one more thing." Mystique said, then she got down next to the guy, grabbed his head, and with one quick movement broke his neck; his body fell over, almost landing on Loki's feet; he backed up to avoid it touching him.
"Mother." Kurt cried, looking at her wide-eyed.
"Don't give me that look; you know I had to do it; we couldn't afford him telling someone else what he told us or about us." Mystique said, then as Kurt stared at her without saying anything, her look softened. "Look, he would have died anyway, whether it was from his injuries or starvation; whoever he came with wasn't coming back for him; he's been lying here for days; I saved him from suffering." She shrugged.
"Let's get out of here," Remy said, "Find this Star-Lord guy." He patted Kurt on the back before walking out.
Loki glanced at Kurt, who was looking down at the guy, Mystique had just killed; Loki reached out and squeezed his shoulder.
"You okay?" Loki asked; Kurt looked at him and nodded, and without taking his hand off Kurt's shoulder, Loki led him out of the building; Saphira smiled a little as she followed; she found it cute how Loki had gotten close to Kurt in the short few months they knew each other, he even was becoming respective towards Kurt being sensitive when it comes to certain things, Saphira has only seen Loki act this way towards one other person, and that was his adopted mother, Frigga, which meant Loki has come to accept Kurt as being family.
When they all had walked a couple of feet away from the building, Remy pulled out four cards, put energy into them, then tossed them at the temple-like building, blowing it up.
"Was there a reason you did that, or are you just showing off?" Loki demanded.
"I did it to get rid of any evidence of us being here we might have left behind and of the stone once being here, in case someone else comes looking for it," Remy explained. Loki didn't reply; he just turned and kept walking, which told Saphira, Loki had been a little impressed with Remy's reasoning.
They all made it back to the ship and went to the front Of the spaceship and all buckled in with Mystique and Kurt at the controls; they headed off the planet, with Mystique looking at the radar keeping track of any ships around them; Saphira sighed and leaned back with her arms crossed, she knew this wasn't going to be easy, but she feels like this is going to be impossible. While she was sulking, Saphira felt someone squeeze her knee and looked over to see Loki smiling at her.
"Don't worry, darling; we'll find him," Loki promised. "If we don't figure out where he went soon, we'll switch to trying to find the other stones than come back to this one."
Saphira just nodded and slipped her fingers in Loki's and smiled at him; they would find it; Saphira was sure of it, they were getting close, she could somehow feel it.
AN I'm not sure about when certain things in the movies were supposed to have happened, like of GOG was supposed to be before or after any of the other movies take place, but I'm having it happen now; I'll try to cut down on so many time jumps now that they are in space on their mission.
I will have chapters that show what Thor and Enid are doing; I don't remember how long I had Saphira in prison for, few months, then took a few months for her to heal, so the year is early 2014, we'll say, getting close to Age of Ultron, which I will do, but will have differences, any of the movies that were after Avengers and before Ultron, the events happened already. I haven't forgotten about the other Avengers; they will pop up again soon.
