AN I'm not sure about this chapter; I like it, but hopefully, everything makes sense in it; I have stolen an enemy of the X-MEN for the plot here; enjoy.

Chapter 43: Mojoverse
Saphira looked at Loki; she could see the concern and fear on his face as he gripped her hand tightly and used his magic to knock stuff out of their way to get to Kurt. Loki dropped her hand, then got down on the floor next to Kurt; Saphira got down next to him on his other side and helped Loki get the stuff off him, then rolled him over on his back.
Saphira watched as Loki let out a sigh of relief; Kurt was alive; they could see him breathing as his stomach moved up and down; Loki looked him over, checking for signs of injuries, mainly Kurt's head, then used magic to wake him up, Kurt's eyes flew open, and he gasped out, then moaned in pain.
"Where are you hurt?" Loki asked, "Is it your head?"
"What happened?" Kurt asked as Loki helped him to set up.
"Something hit the ship, then we crashed," Loki explained, checking the back of Kurt's head.
"Are you dizzy?" Saphira asked.
"No, my head is fine; it's my ankle; I think it's broken," Kurt replied; Loki looked at Kurt's ankle to find it swollen, and Kurt couldn't move it.
"Do not worry; I can fix it. " Loki told him, "I think, " He made a book appear, one Saphira was sure belonged to Enid, and he flipped through the pages looking for a certain one.
"I thought you didn't know healing magic?" Saphira asked.
"I've been teaching myself, love," Loki answered.
"Isn't that Enid's book?" Saphira asked as Loki stopped at a page and began reading.
"Yes, " Loki answered, "I borrowed it."
"Dose Enid know you borrowed it?" Saphira asked.
"No, " Loki answered, trying his best not to smirk; just then, Rosey came crawling over to them from somewhere and started pulling on Loki's arm.
"Stop that." Loki snapped, then looked down at her, "Here, if you are going to hang around me, make yourself useful." He held the book out, and Rosey grabbed hold of it with vines on either side and held it up, keeping it on the page he needed.
"Loki," Saphira chastised.
"I need to be able to see the spell to perform it correctly," Loki explained as he held his hands over Kurt's ankle. "After all, I have not tried this spell before."
"What?" Kurt demanded as Loki started performing the magic needed to fix his ankle.
When Kurt started crying out in pain, Saphira offered him her hand for comfort, then regretted it as he gripped it so tightly. If she hadn't been a goddess, it probably would have broken; finally, it was over; Loki had healed Kurt's ankle.
"How does it feel?" Loki asked, checking it over.
"Much better." Kurt replied, "Just a little sore."
"It'll go away soon." Loki promised, "Think you can stand now?"
"We probably should go check out the ship, see how bad the damage is," Saphira suggested while she and Loki helped Kurt to his feet.
"And find the others," Kurt said. "Make sure they're okay."
Saphira didn't know what made her do it, but she held her hand out to Rosey, who wrapped her vine around it, and Saphira led her out of the room; Loki walked next to Kurt to make sure he didn't stumble and fall because he was still limping a bit. Saphira called out to the others and opened the doors to every room they passed, calling out and looking in for the others. When they got halfway down the corridor, Remy, Rogue, and Mystique appeared walking around the corner. The cats were with them, all four; Remy was holding his cat Lucifer, the rest was walking alongside them. They were all relieved to see that none of them was seriously hurt or worse.
After everyone was sure each other was okay, they got to discussing what had happened; Mystique had the craft concealed, flying at an average speed, she and Rogue were going over a map, trying to decide where to head next, when another spaceship, came speeding along; Mystique had been unable to move in time, so she turned off the concealment hoping the other ship would see them and turn or stop, but it was already too late, they were going too fast or not paying attention and stuck the back of their ship, making it spin out of control and crash.
"We should have thought of the possibility of being hit when adding that feature," Loki replied, "Maybe add an alarm when one gets within so many feet from us or something."
Saphira noticed Rogue's head had blood running down the side; when asked about it, she said she hit her head on the control panel when the ship had gotten struck, and because she, Mystique, and Remy had been wearing seat belts, they hadn't gotten tossed around like Loki, Saphira and Kurt had; having naturally durable bodies saved Saphira and Loki from getting harmed; unfortunately, Kurt had been the most unlucky one.
"Guess we should go see if we can fix the ship." Mystique said.
"Be good to know where we are." Rogue put in.
"Hang on, just one moment." Loki turned to Rogue, and to her shock, he raised the hair from her face and begun to look her cut over, even waving a bit of magic over it. "Not too bad, no concussion or anything." He healed her wound, then magically cleaned the blood from her face and hair.
"Thanks," Rogue said, shocked at Loki's act of kindness towards her.
"Do not mention it," Loki replied. "After all, what are big brothers for?"
"Damn if I know," Rogue answered with a straight face; Loki stared at her a moment, then Rogue smiled, and Loki chuckled.
"That was a good one," Loki replied; "I'll have to use that on Thor."
"I think I might have hit my head, no." Remy said to Saphira, "Because I believe I am hallucinating. Are they joking with each other?"
"Hush, they'll hear you," Saphira joked. Then reached out and pet Lucifer; the poor kitty looked to be in pain.
"His paw is hurt," Remy explained; Saphira turned to Loki and told him, Loki looked as if he couldn't care less about the cat's hurt paw, but at Saphira's pouty look, he gave in and heeled him, the cat then jumped down and went over to Loki and started rubbing against his legs. Shocking him, then Loki smiled and bent down and started petting him.
"Let's go check out the ship." Kurt spoke up, "Be careful though; we have no idea who or what hit us."
When they came to the exit door, Mystique pressed the button, and the door opened with a squeaking sound, and they could hear voices indicating that whoever hit their ship had already existed theirs; Saphira went to head down the ramp, but Loki grabbed her arm, and wouldn't allow her to be the one to walk down first. Instead, Remy and Rogue went first, then they went, and Mystique and Kurt behind them.
When they all made it to the ground, they learned it had been Star-Lord and his gang of what Loki liked to call idiots; that crashed into them, causing them to crash onto some moon, the only ones around was them and the ones that now called themselves The Guardians of the Galaxy; However, Saphira had no idea who would be stupid enough to trust them to guardian anything, heck, the Guardians were not paying attention now and didn't even notice their exit.
"That's so weird." Peter Quil said he had been walking around holding up a device.
"What is it?" Gamora asked. Quil turned to look at her.
"The readings I'm getting indicate this moon has very recently gotten a huge spike in the gravitational pool." Quil frowned, "Like, very recently, if it weren't for it, we would be floating away right now."
"That is weird," Gamora said. Loki looked towards Saphira, and their eyes locked, both thinking the same thing.
"Well, that's nice." Rocket said, "The moon knew we were coming and got ready for us. Who cares? We need to fix our ship and get out of here."
"I agree with the raccoon," Loki said; the guardians paused in what they were doing to turn to them.
"Hey, it's you guys, " Quil shouted. Loki scowled; Saphira knew he didn't like this group of heroes much.
"Do we know them?" A woman Saphira was sure wasn't with them before said she was odd-looking but pretty, hug black eyes, shoulder-length black hair, and two bug-like antennas sticking out above her forehead.
"Yes, it is the God of jerks," Drax answered, nodding at Loki.
"I beg your pardon?" Loki demanded, narrowing his eyes at Drax.
"You are the god of jerks," Drax said, "That's what Quil said."
"Drax, buddy, you missed understood me, man," Quil said when Loki turned to him.
"I did not when telling Mantis about Xander, Gamora mentioned him," Drax explained."You said he was the god of jerks."
"I believe his words were, please only thing that guy is the god of is jerks." Rocket put in.
"Ohh, so this is Loki." The new girl said. "The one Quil got jealous of when Gamora mentioned him."
"I did not." Quil denied.
"Hang on," Saphira demanded, "Why is that woman talking about my husband?"
"Said you guys helped save Xander," The new girl answered.
"Help?" Loki demanded, "I believe it was you who helped us, and very little, I might add."
"Hey, we fought as much as you guys did," Quil claimed. "We can't help if we didn't have an Infinity Stone to use, the way the red-haired chick did."
"My wife is not the red-haired chick," Loki growled, making his dagger appear, and taking a step towards Quil, he pulled out a weird gun and putting it at Loki as he backed up.
"Dude, you need to learn not to take everything offensively," Quil said, "Just chill, man."
"Chill?" Loki asked, "Alright," He quickly shifted to his Jotuun form, then held his hand out and made frost form under Star-Lord's feet, who yelped and jumped back.
"Stop," Gamora demanded. "Let's all calm down. There is no reason to fight."
Kurt walked up to Loki and put his hand on his shoulder, and squeezed it.
"Brother, please, we have more important things to do," Kurt said.
Loki gave a sigh, and his dagger disappeared, and he stepped back, shifting back to his Asgardain form.
"Thank you," Gamora told Kurt, looking relieved as Quil put his gun away; the new woman with the so-called Guardians stepped up close to Kurt and reached out and touched his arm.
"You're a pretty blue." She said.
"Thank you...I think." Kurt replied.
"I'm Mantis." She said, "Did you help on Xander too?" Kurt just stared at her bewildered, as everyone looked their way, Loki with his eyebrows raised.
"Um...I'm Kurt. Kurt Wagner. And I helped a little." Kurt replied. Mantis suddenly gasped, causing Kurt to jump a little, and Remy was doing his best not to laugh at his friend.
"You have a tail," Mantis said and then actually reached for it; Kurt teleported away, reappearing behind Loki as if seeking protection, and Remy was full-blown laughing now; he stopped when Loki and Mystique shot him identical glares.
"Wow, Mantis," Quil called out. "Personal space."
Mantis apologized and walked back over to her group but kept looking back at Kurt, who seemed to think staying behind Loki was the safest place for him.
"Okay," Gamora said, "Now that we all decided not to fight, maybe we should go check the damage of our ships, see if we can fix them so that we can get off this moon."
Rocket and Quil walked off towards their craft; Mantis and Drax just wandered off; Mystique turned and started walking towards their ship, a couple of the cats followed, and Loki and Gamora turned to each other and started talking; Saphira decided to stay by Loki and watch Gamora, Remy and Rogue and Kurt were standing by them talking to each other.
Saphira felt something tug on her pant leg and looked down to see a little talking tree; she smiled and sat down in front of him.
"You are so adorable," Saphira told him.
"I am Groot." He said, reaching his arms up, wanting her to pick him up.
"Hello, Groot," Saphira said, holding her hand out so he could climb in it. She held him at eye level, "Aww, you're so cute. " He pointed at Rosey.
"I am Groot," Groot said; Saphira smiled and sat him down; Groot walked over and inspected her; Rosey reached out and patted his head with a leaf. He looked to Saphira.
"Her name is Rosey." Saphira explains, "She can't talk like you can, though."
Groot turned back to Rosey and tried talking to her, which turned into a weird interaction; all he said was "I am Groot," and Rosey would answer by patting him; Saphira laughed and looked at Loki as Groot climbed on Rosey's back, and she crawled around, giving Groot a ride.
"Loki, I want one," Saphira called out.
"Want what, darling?" Loki looked down at her, "Why are you on the ground?" He reached down and helped Saphira to her feet.
"Rosey made a friend," Saphira told him. Loki looked over at them.
"That's weird; he was a real tall tree on Xander, " Loki said, "I thought he died when Ronan's shipwrecked."
"Rocket replanted him," Gamora said.
"Pardon?" Loki asked.
"It's like when someone takes a piece of a rose bush and starts another bush from it." Saphira explains, "Or how flowers come back each year, as long as there are roots or seeds the plant should grow back."
"Drax found something," Mantis suddenly called out; Saphira and Loki looked to see them dragging a large box, wrapped up like a present over to where they were standing; Quil reappeared to see what the commotion was.
"What's in there?" Quil asked. He reached to open it.
"No, wait." Rogue cried, "I've seen a box like this before, a much smaller version. You don't want to open it."
"Of course we do," Quil said. "Could be lost treasure in there."
"No, Cherie is right," Remy spoke up. "We once found a box-like that in our apartment."
"What happened when you opened the box?" Gamora asked.
"Mojo, happened, Chere." Remy answered, "It's this guy if you can even call him that, he kidnaps you, and takes you to a place he calls the Mojoverse, and puts you in this movie you have to play out like you're a part of it, he broadcasts them. For his viewers to watch."
"It's not pleasant; it's happened to use before, a few times." Rogue said, "Believe me, it's hard to get out of it, sugar."
"You're making that up." Quil accused, "You just want whatever is in here for yourself." Remy snorted.
"Gambit is a master thief," Remy said. "If I thought anything good was in that box, I would have taken it already. "
"Yeah, how?" Quil demanded.
"Gambit has his ways," Remy replied.
"I'm opening it." Quil announced just as he flipped open the box lid; Remy, Rogue, and Gamora all three shouted "No" as there was a bright light, and everyone disappeared.
"Ladies and Gentlemen," A loud voice boomed as Saphira found herself lying on the ground; she sat up and saw she was in an arena surrounded by a crowd booing and cheering. Saphira stood and looked down at herself with a frown; Saphira was no longer wearing her black leggings and purple blouse but the battle attire she wore the day Loki killed Laufey, then she realized her hair was in a ponytail.
"You unfamous worms of the Mojoverse." The voice continued. "you are in for a treat; we have a real gladiator show tonight, with real fighters, trained and everything. The one you see now, standing before you, is Saphira of Asgard and a princess of Alfheim."
Saphira looked around again; Remy and Rogue must have been right about the box, now she was in one of Mojo's movies, and Saphira had no idea how to get out of here or where to find Loki and the rest of her family, they all had better be okay, or Saphira will kill this Mojo person herself.
She was brought out of her thoughts when a woman appeared before her; she was blue and bold and looked to have had body parts replaced with robotic ones.
"What's going on?" She demanded, looking towards Saphira. "Did you bring me here? Who are you? Where am I."
"Ladies and gentlemen," Mojo was saying. "Mojo presents to you the female fight of the century, Saphira, the Wife of Loki vs. Nebula the Daughter of Thanos."
Saphira was barely able to register that this woman was a daughter of Thanos before she charged forward and attacked Saphira, catching her off guard with a few punches and kicks; once Saphira came to her sense, she was able to duck and toss Nebula over her shoulder, who just jumped back up, and pulled out two large daggers like weapons.
"You're not the only one that has knives," Saphira said. She held her hands out at her sides and made two of Loki's daggers appear. Nebula came at her, and Saphira raised a dagger to block Nebula's, then swung at her with the other, but Nebula moved back, avoiding having her side sliced; she came back at her, Saphira stopped the blow, went after Nebula's right side when she went to block it, Saphira changed course and got her on the left side, slicing it, Nebula stumbled back, growled then came at Saphira, daggers swinging, Saphira blocked every blow, while trying to cut Nebula who, also stopped most of Saphira's attacks.
Saphira ducked as Nebula came at her face with one of her knives and then used her feet to swipe her legs out from under her, making Nebula slam down on the ground, dropping her daggers; Saphira got on top of her and held her blade to Nebula's throat.
"Tell me, daughter of Thanos," Saphira snarled. "Did you have anything to do with my husband getting tortured?" Nebula said nothing, "Answer me!"
"I don't have to confess anything to you." Nebula snapped, then spit in Saphira's eyes; Saphira pulled back to wipe them, then Nebula brought her legs up, hooked them under Saphira's arms, and tossed her off her; Nebula got to her feet, ignored the daggers on the ground, instead pulled out a long metal bar looking weapon, and came at her, she brought it down, Saphira not being able to move in time, rolled on her stomach and allowed the hit to strike her back, she gasped out in pain, then again as Nebula hit her a second time, then when she came down a third time Saphira caught the weapon, then used a little bit of wind to blow Nebula back.
Saphira stood and faced Nebula, who had already gotten up; ignoring her dropped weapon, she came charging at Saphira.
Nebula came at her with a punch, Saphira ducked, came back up with a pouch of her own, got her in the jaw, Nebula stumbled back, and Saphira came at her and knocked her down, then punched everywhere she could, until Nebula came up with her foot, and knocked Saphira off her by kicking her between the breast, Saphira landed on the ground with a moan, as Nebula retrieved her metal weapon and came at Saphira with it.
Saphira made another one of Loki's daggers appear in her hand, and as Nebula brought her weapon down to hit her, she stabbed Nebula right in the leg; she gasped, dropped her weapon, and fell on her bottom. Saphira made another dagger appear in her other hand and got Nebula on her shoulder; she drove it in so far that the tip almost touched Nebula's skin; Saphira could see the pain in her eyes as she jerked the dagger forward as hard as she could, throwing Nebula over her and on to the ground behind her as Saphira pulled the blade out.
Nebula somehow was able to ignore the pain and blood running down from the wound and retrieved her weapon from the ground; Saphira tossed down the now bloody dagger, then held her hand out and made a Bo-staff appear; it was a lot like the one Remy used and was a gift from Jean-Luc LeBeau; Saphira hasn't used it or pulled it out of her pocket dimension, since leaving New Orleans. Maybe it's time she sees if she can still use it the way Remy taught her.
Nebula came at Saphira, who surprised her by suddenly running towards her; she jumped up and over Nebula with a flip, landed behind her, and when Nebula turned around, Saphira quickly struck her on both sides, with the staff, knocked her weapon out of her hand, then used it to knock Nebula's legs, out from under her, then stood back and smirked, yep, she still knew everything, Remy taught her. She didn't have time to gloat, though, as Nebula grabbed her weapon, jumped up, and came at her, and she had to block her tempted blows.
The fight went on for a while, Saphira would come at Nebula, she would move or duck, then come after Saphira, who would move or duck, sometimes they would get a hit in, sometimes miss; Saphira's body was more robust and more durable than most others, it would take a massive blow to the stomach to harm her baby, but she still didn't take any chances, and made sure nothing touched her belly.
Nebula came at Saphira with that freaking weapon; she blocked the blow with the staff; Nebula used the distraction to sweep Saphira's legs out from under her, knocking her to the ground; she brought the bar down, Saphira rolled out of the way, and as Nebula came at her again, Saphira jumped up, and without thinking thrust out her hands a giant wave of firey flames burst out the ground and headed right towards Nebula, who turned and fled, once Nebula got so far, she was able to jump to the side and roll away.
Saphira watched as the flame hit the bleachers full of people straight ahead of her; it immediately went up in flames, but there were no screams, and Saphira was relieved to see it wasn't people sitting there at all but a bunch of screens; they had been fake, Saphira watched as the fire spread around her. It was melting the screens and making popping and crackling sounds.
"Cheater!" Mojo yelled, "Disqualified."
Everything around her started to disappear, and Saphira suddenly found herself sitting in a glass cage, suspended in the air, about fifty feet off the ground; she looked around and was relieved to see all her family was here and unharmed. Rogue helped her to her feet; as Loki made his way to her, he and everyone else checked her over for injuries. When Loki was sure she was as okay as she said, he pulled her into a hug.
"I didn't know where any of you were or if you were okay," Saphira replied; she now had tears rolling down her face. Damn pregnancy hormones.
"It's okay," Loki said, kissing her forehead. "We are, fine sweetheart, been in this cage the whole time watching your fight."
"Wait, you guys saw my fight?" Saphira demanded, pulling away.
"Everyone saw it." Mystique answered, pointing up to the ceiling, where a giant television screen was hanging.
Saphira looked back at her to see she was wearing this weird long white dress with two slits up the sides and a white skull belt, and long white gloves. She wasn't the only one wearing different clothes; Kurt had on a blue and white jumpsuit, with white boots and gloves, Remy had on a weird black and purple outfit along with his trench coat, Rogue was in a green and yellow jumpsuit, with tall yellow boots, and brown jacket. When Saphira turned back to Loki, it was to see he had on the armor he won when they invaded Midgard; the only thing missing was his helmet, though Saphira saw it laying on the cage floor, so he had it on at one point.
"So, Remy and Rogue were right?" Saphira asked, "That Mojo guy brought us here?"
"Yes, darling, I'm afraid so." Loki replied, "And we are not the only ones brought here." Saphira looked to where he was pointing; across from them in their own suspended glass cage were the Guardians of the Galaxy; Nebula had joined them and glared over at Saphira as Gamora wrapped a piece of cloth around her shoulder to cover her wound.
"So we are just going to keep being taken and forced to fight," Saphira demanded, turning back to Loki.
"Something like that, yes," Kurt answered.
"It won't be the same each time we get put in a movie of his," Rogue replied, "But it'll all still keep getting broadcast for all of his viewers to see."
"Don't worry, my love; we'll figure out a way out of here," Loki replied. He pulled Saphira back into a hug, she held him tightly, and when he bent down to kiss her, their lips never met; Loki disappeared right out of her arms; Saphira backed up and looked around to see he wasn't the only one, Mystique, Rogue and Kurt had also disappeared.
"Up there, Soeur, " Remy pointed to the giant screen; Saphira looked up to see Mystique driving down a deserted road in an old beaten-up station wagon as they watched a tire blew, forcing Mystique to pull over to the side. "Ah, yes, if I were to guess, that would be the ole family on vacation, and hilarious bad luck happens comedy movie."
"Loki hates comedies." Saphira snorted.
"Loki isn't the only one who is in a movie they hate." Remy pointed to another screen to see both Star-Lord and Drax running through a haunted house, screaming their heads off while being chased by ghosts.
"Yeah, well, Peter Quil better hope he isn't placed in a movie with Loki before we get out of here," Saphira said.
"You ain't lying there, mon ami," Remy replied.
Saphira sighed and went over to sit down on the other side of the glass cage, picked up Loki's helmet and held it, and leaned back and looked at Remy.
"Give me your jacket; I'm a bit cold," Saphira told him.
Remy slipped off his trench coat, walked over, and instead of handing it to her, he held it open and tossed it on her.
"Hey," Saphira laughed, "This thing is heavy. What all is in it?"
"That's an answer even; Remy doesn't know," Remy answered, sitting by her. "If he's going to force us to watch his movies, he could have at least provided us with popcorn, no?"
"If Loki ends up getting close to Mojo, he'll kill him," Saphira replied. "If I don't do it first."
"You'll get no objection from Remy," Remy told her. "He's getting sick of being sucked into Mojo's movies."
"Why does everything always happen to us," Saphira asked, lying her head on Remy's shoulder; she looked up to the screen to see Rogue holding up the back of the car while Mystique changed the tire.
"No, idea, Soeur," Remy replied. Saphira hoped they weren't trapped here for very long; this outfit was uncomfortable, now that she was starting to gain weight, it was a bit tight on her, and the top aggravated her already sore breast, not to mention her stomach was growling; the little one within wanted something to eat.
AN: Not much to add here, but hopefully you enjoyed this chapter since my main characters aren't in most of the MCU movies, plus I didn't want everything the same, so I have come up with my plots for them and thought I put X-MEN in my story why not one of their villains? I'm going to do my best to make it entertaining and a bit funny, hopefully.
Oh, and about Nebula, I know it doesn't happen until later, but GOG 2 was happening while Saphira and Loki were still on Midgard, so Nebula and Gamora have somewhat made up but she isn't completely good yet, like in Endgame.
