AN This chapter shows a little of what's happening in Midgard and a hint of what leads to the version of Civil War I'm going to do, which is a mix of movies and comics with my own twist. Still, it won't be until much later; I didn't want to go from my last chapter to what happens in the one after this chapter; I felt like something should be between, so I decided to show Enid and Thor.

Chapter 49 Midgard.

You could cut the tension with a knife as Enid stood next to Thor, who sat on her sofa in the living room, in her penthouse, above her casino; she rubbed his back, sometimes his shoulder, and even ran her hand through his hair, anything to try to keep him calm, as Tony Stark stood in front of them trying and failing at why this so-called Registration Act was a good idea. Thor, on the other hand, felt pissed and unappreciated, and disrespected by what the passing of this law meant, not just for mutants anymore but also for people like her, Thor, and Steve Rogers. Not to mention someone like Bruce Banner, someone they felt too dangerous to be on the loose would be locked up in a facility somewhere; Enid was sure James Bucky Barnes would be one of them. Enid never cared much for Tony Stark; his attitude always got on her nerves, but now, she's lost any respect she had for him by supporting this law, then having the guts to try to talk them into siding with him.

"Come on, Thor." Stark said, "You of all people should understand why this is so important, after everything that's happened last few years, Loki's invasion, Ultron."

"Ultron was your doings, Stark." Thor snapped, "Yours and Banner, but yet you admitted you wouldn't be going on this Registration list."

"I already explained why that was," Stark answered.

"Yes, you gave your reasons, but I know the truth," Thor said; he turned to look at Enid. "Enid, you think your money will keep our names off this list?"

"Hey, now," Stark said, he seemed lost for words, but Thor had voiced the very thing Enid had been thinking, disliked him or not; Stark had a brilliant mind. He knew how to make and design weapons, dangerous weapons, if they were to be a list of individuals for the government to keep track of Tony Stark, should go on that list, and no, she didn't believe it was because of the reasons he gave, which were they already know of his Iron Man suits and he was just an average human; his money did play a significant role in him keeping his freedom; he was a billionaire who was using those billions lately to back political candidates, like that of Graydon Creed. This registration had started out being the Mutant Registration Act; once Stark got involved, anyone the government may deem a danger would be added to the list and then added more rules for them to have to follow. Then they changed the name to The Mutant and Superbeing Registration Act.

"I thought Las Vegas was a part of America," Thor demanded; Enid ran her hand through his hair again; she may not like Stark, but she didn't want Thor to hurt him either; that would give him more of a reason to get this Act passed. "Doesn't Americans pride themselves on their freedom?

"Freedom is life's greatest lie," Enid said; they turned and looked at her. "Loki said that to Nicky Fury when he came through the tesseract; I'm starting to understand what Loki meant."

"Loki has always been dramatic," Thor replied, "but if you look past all that and pay attention to what he says, you'll find he does make sense on a lot of things."

"Oh, come on, you guys, we are just trying to keep this planet safe," Stark argued. "Look at all the destruction that's happened here, mutants that belong to Magneto's brotherhood keep attacking political rallies; Hydra was able to hide inside SHIELD for who knows how long. Juggernaut has gone on a rampage more than once in the last couple of months; that mutant Sabertooth tried to get into the tower last week, he still sets in jail over it, and you are housing my parent's killer."

Enid turned to look at Bucky, who had stood huddled in a corner since Stark arrived here thirty minutes ago, trying not to be seen when Stark knocked on their door then just walked in; Bucky had tried to hide in the shadows, not wanting Tony Stark to see him because he knew Stark would bring this up, and Enid knows how bad Bucky felt over it, he has guilt over everyone he killed as The Winter Soldier.

"That is not fair," Thor said, "To blame him for that is the same as blaming Barton for helping Loki; he was not in control of his actions."

"Maybe not," Stark said, "But he still has the brainwash program in his mind. If anyone were to say whatever the hell it is you say, to trigger them, he'd be dangerous."

"Enid is helping him," Thor replied, "He has made great progress."

"Alright, then what about Banner?" Stark demanded, "Look, he's a close friend of mine too, but one toe stub or trip over a cord or something, and we have the Hulk rampaging across town."

"Someone else you are blaming for things they can not control," Thor yelled, causing Enid to run her hand down his back; she was hoping her massaging was helping avoid Thor losing his temper, something that wasn't easy to get him to do; her happy go lucky thunder God was usually cheerful and playful, but he could get mad and lose his calm, last time he lost his temper was a few months ago when he had returned from Asgard with news Bard was alive and had got away somehow, the scene he described in Saphira's bedroom haunted Enid for days whenever she closed her eyes and pictured it. Thor had told her there was blood everywhere, room destroyed, Loki's daggers lying on the floor, most unusual was piles of Saphira's hair, which she found out later from Loki that Bard had used his sword to chop it off as means to hurt Saphira; what set Thor off the most was that some of the blood on the ground had belonged to Loki, Odin had it tested by healers, to confirm the story Saphira told. It came back most belonging to Bard, but a little was Loki's, which meant Bard had injured him enough to bleed, Thor had not been happy about that discovery, and it had stormed in Vegas for days after that. Something that both confused and amazed the local weather people.

"I know Banner can't help it; that's why it's safer for him and everyone else for Bruce to be monitored and kept calm." Stark tried.

"By locking him in a mental asylum?" Enid demanded, "How will that help keep him calm? It would just make things worse for him."

"We don't even know where Banner is." Stark replied, "We hadn't seen him since before we went to stop Ultron."

"Banner is fine," Thor said, "He hasn't turned into the Hulk in months." Stark raised his eyebrow at Thor suspiciously. "I mean, I assume he has not, or else you would have heard of a green rage monster rampaging through some town somewhere, would you not?"

"True," Stark said, still looking suspicious but thankfully changed the subject. "Look, I understand your concerns over this, but this Act won't take away your freedom; you'll have to report if you move, plan to leave town a while, or leave Earth, so we know where you're at, but that's it."

"And that's being Free how?" Thor demanded. Stark once again seemed lost for words; everyone was always surprised when Thor showed that he could be intelligent when he wanted to be, and the fact he was holding his own in a debate with Tony Stark proved that.

"Why do you even need to know that?" Enid demanded, "Thor and I are not a danger to this realm; we are the opposite; we have helped save it many times, including from our own siblings."

"I know that." Stark replied, "But to get potentially dangerous ones, everyone will have to go on this list."

"So, good people are being punished because there might be dangerous ones out there?" Thor demanded, "You and your government are starting to think like my father; punish them all to get the right one."

Enid looked at Thor in surprise; yeah, Thor and Odin have had a strained relationship as of late, with all Odin's lies and secrets, but he had been making regular trips to Asgard last few months, she thought they were starting to patch things up, it was good to see Thor still wasn't blind to Odin's ways.

"Thor has been going to Asgard a decent amount of time lately," Enid said, "If this Act gets voted into law, then we need permission to come and go from the planet; that'll take time, and we can even get denied. Thor needs to be able to get to Asgard whenever he's needed there."

"Thor is a hero on this planet; I'm sure he'll get his permission ." Stark said then turned to Thor, "You might just have to plan ahead of time."

"That is not always possible," Thor answered, "There might be an emergency or time I need to rush to Asgard or somewhere else."

Stark stuck his hands in his pockets and blew; Enid could tell him Stark hadn't planned on Thor bringing up such good arguments; Enid wasn't surprised, this was the King in Thor coming out, him and Loki both had been taught debate, and make good arguments in situations such as this, Thor was showing his Asgardain education right now, the education usually reserved for a child of a King, sadly their education was one of the only things Odin had treated Thor and Loki equal in, and the fact Loki had been a little better than Thor, Enid suspected Odin would have had Loki as Thor's adviser when he made him King, something he should have told them both from the beginning.

"Look, I know it seems ridiculous, but think about keeping the planet safe," Stark said, "From not only those from somewhere else but also those on here."

"How is taking away people's free will keeping them safe?" Thor demanded. "I do want when I want, go where I need when I need, and Registration Act or no Registration Act, I will keep doing and going where I want; no one can stop me."

"Thor, buddy, you'll understand more when the law is in effect and rules of it are known to the public," Stark replied, "It's not as bad as it seems."

Thor snorted; yes, it was as bad as it seems, may even be more so, Enid doesn't know how, but Steve had gotten a hold of a copy of this Act, the same document that everyone on the list of potential dangers individuals will get. The so-called rules were absurd; the ones on the list would have to report everything they do, everywhere they go. Every time they moved somewhere, they needed permission to leave the country or planet, and ones deemed uncontrolled or unsafe would be locked in mental asylums and kept on watch. And that wasn't even the start of it.

"I volunteered to stay in this realm and help protect it because I have a fondness for it," Thor said, standing " I did not have to; I wanted to; I never received any thank you. Instead, I now get nothing but disrespect and ungratefulness. I will not stand for it. "

"Thor, that's not what this is." Stark tried.

"I am a god of Asgard!" Thor thundered, shocking Enid; she hadn't heard Thor refer to himself as a God or from Asgard in quite a while. "Son of the Allfather, and no Midgardain government is going to tell me what to do. Or going to keep track of where I am or what I am doing, it is no one's business."

"Okay, this conversation is getting a bit too heated," Enid spoke up; she reached out to touch Thor's arm but thought better of it; she could feel the electricity crackling around him. So instead, she turned to Stark. "We aren't going to agree on this right now. And we have things to do."

"Alright, I can take a hint," Stark said. Thankfully, Iron Man himself even realized it was probably safer for him to drop it for now and go, but still held his hand out for Thor to shake. "Still friends? Come on; I'm not trying to make things difficult for people; I'm trying to keep the people safe."

"You and I have different ideas of what keeps people safe," Thor answered, crossing his arms; he didn't even look at Stark's hand, which was mainly due to him not wanting to shock him accidentally. Stark pulled his arm back, told Thor to think about it, then left, closing the door a bit hard behind him.

"I thought he would never leave," Bucky said; as he finally stepped out of the shadows, Tempest, the creature Saphira had made from Mischief's hair, was sitting on Bucky's shoulder, the animal had taken a liking to Bucky like it had Thor. Tempest has also grown a lot, being the size of an adult cat.

"You alright?" Enid asked.

"Yes, but if this law passes, they'll lock me in an asylum; I don't think that will help me at all; it'll make it worse," Bucky said.

"That will not happen," Thor said as he started pacing. Enid turned to Bucky and put her hand across his forehead, and used her abilities to bring some of his happiest memories to the front of his mind. It was her way of keeping him calm. Enid turned to Thor and wondered if she shouldn't do something like that for him; this anger wasn't only because of the Act and hadn't come out of anywhere, but he was also still upset about things they just found out that happened before Ultron; Hydra had comprised SHELD, without anyone knowing, which ended with dozens of their crafts pointing at people Hydra knew could stop their take over, one of the crafts was aimed at Enid's casino, Thor being number one on Hydra's hit list right next to Steve, but thankfully Fury, Romanoff, and Steve had to stop them just in time, Enid and Thor weren't even here at the time. However, SHIELD still failed; Fury, Hill, Coulson, and a few others were running what was left of the organization underground; Steve was getting missions to go on from them, who got them from Fury, some times if he were needed Thor would go on them with him.

"Don't worry about that right now," Enid told Bucky. "The election is over a year away; it might not even pass. And hopefully, people aren't dumb enough to vote for that idiot. I can't believe Stark is behind him; I know it's because of the Act, but still."

"He's desperate, I believe," Thor said, "Everything else he's tried has failed."

"Stark is letting his obsession with being a hero stop him from thinking clearly," Enid said, "He has this false idea that he alone is the only one that can keep Midgard safe and does not care what he has to do to reach that goal."

"That is a dangerous way of thinking," Thor said, "I know all too well, me thinking the very thing about Asgard made Loki able to get into my head and result leading me to cause a war, banished, and in the end, Saphira got hurt, and Loki fell into the void where Thanos was able to get a hold of him."

Enid frowned; she knew Thor would always blame himself and feel guilty over that, but it wasn't his fault, not entirely; he had to destroy the Bifrost, he didn't know Loki would fall off saving Saphira or that Saphira would push Loki out of the way. Thor would end up striking her instead of Loki; Enid has tried to tell him this, but Thor, no matter what, will always have this guilt; Enid didn't know what Loki went through when being held captive by Thanos. Still, it had to be bad for it to give Saphira nightmares when Pheonix had showed her glimpses of it.

"Have you spoken to Astrid lately?" Bucky asked, pricking up at the mention of Saphira and calling her by her actress name.

"I spoke with her a couple of days ago," Enid answered, "She sounded happier than I've ever seen her." Enid gave a sad smile; she was glad her sister was happy now, but she couldn't help but feel left out; even though Saphira does call her often and gives her updates on what she's doing, their quest for the Infinity Stones had ended, and now just traveling the galaxy for fun. Enid wouldn't even get to see the birth of her first nephew, she was happy for her sister, but it also saddens her.

"That's good then," Bucky said; Enid nodded in agreement.

When Bucky had first discovered Enid was the sister of Astrid Star, he flipped out, asking if there was any chance of ever meeting her or getting another autograph; even though Steve had told him who Saphira was and what she had done, he still stood by his favorite actress, Enid didn't know about them ever meeting. Still, she was going to get Saphira to at least give the poor guy an autograph the next time she saw her. He did talk Steve into giving her the information she needed, unfortunately going to Vormir had been a bust for them; Enid had agreed with Thor that it was probably a good thing. Saphira and Loki would not have all six Infinity Stones.

"I don't think I'm ready to go down to the casino today, " Bucky replied, Changing the subject.

"It's okay; I won't force you." Enid signed as she ran her hand through her hair; the reason Bucky had been here in her penthouse was that he was going to accompany Enid downstairs and walk with her as she did her rounds at work when it was less crowded, she planned to help him be able to be around people, but after him getting upset it was probably best they put that off for a few days.

"I have an idea," Thor said; he seemed to calm down now and was all smiles again. "Why don't Bucky ride down to Loki and Saphira's house with me? See Banner."

"That is a good idea, honey," Enid said to Thor, then turned to Bucky. "You won't have to be around any crowds, and you could use some air and some sun; you haven't left this floor since you got here."

"Okay, a car ride sounds nice." Bucky agreed. Enid patted him on the shoulder, happy he was at least getting out for a while.

"What about you, Tempest?" Thor demanded, "Want to go on a car ride with daddy?"

Tempest meowed, then jumped off Bucky's shoulder and ran over and jumped in Thor's arms. Since getting his driver's license a couple of months back, Thor has spoiled Tempest with car rides.

Enid shook her head with a smile, then turned and picked up her bag, coffee, and room card before turning back to Thor.

"Behave while you're gone, no driving crazy, and don't forget the things I have for you to take to Bruce," Enid told him.

Thor promised he would, and Enid gave him a quick kiss before leaving the room; and heading to the elevator. Thor had almost let slip that they did know where Bruce Banner was; a few days after Saphira and her people left Earth, Banner had shown up here, asking for help to stay hidden; she had cleared out one of the large storage rooms and had set up a place for him to stay, after Thor, Vision, and with a bit of help from Steve Rogers fixed the damage they did to Saphira's house, they let Bruce stay there, he preferred the isolation, and he could watch the house. Only four people on Earth knew where Banner was, her, Thor, Bucky, and Steve, who's visited him a few times. And two in space, Saphira and Loki, because they did get permission from them to allow Bruce to stay there.

A month later, Steve showed up asking for help with Bucky; she agreed and allowed the two of them to live in the room she had fixed up for Banner; Steve wasn't here a lot, going on a lot of missions and during his time away, Bucky hung out with her and Thor, Enid believed he didn't like being alone with his thoughts, they didn't mind though, they saw Bucky as a friend, and Thor saw little similarities between him and Loki, both did terrible things they regret now. Still, unlike Loki, Bucky had not been in control of his actions."

"I made another one." Vision said the moment she stepped into her office, he pointed down at a robot that came up past his waist and looked like Johhny Five from the movie Short Circuit. "He can help Robbie with housekeeping, maybe do the laundry."

"That makes what? Three you've made?" Enid asked. As of late, Vision has taken to making miniature robots; why and how he was getting the stuff to make them, she had no idea, but the last one he made, Robbie, was given the job of working in housekeeping after a few quiet on her, Robbie was about five feet tall and resembled a human skeleton, but metal, he freaked guest out until they put clothes on him and gloves to hide most of him. The robot couldn't speak; Vision never got around to giving him a voice box but understood orders and was programmed to know what chores to do every day. The first one he made did talk, and resembled a human more and made from copper; they put her to work at an information desk, and Vision calls her Penny.

"Yes, that makes three." Vision answered while giving her a grin when she and Thor had left New York; they brought Vision with them so they could keep an eye on him and the Mind Stone, which Enid still had not found a way to take out without killing Vision, after a while, she put Vision to work helping her run the casino, though lately, he's done more work building robots, then he has anything else. Enid had taught him how to run the place because he would be doing just that for a month when she and Thor go to Asgard in April for their wedding; they'll be gone a whole month to plan the invent, and then they'll be a week-long celebration leading up to the big day. Steve and Bucky will watch Vision because of the Mind Stone; they both have agreed. And Steve has already alerted Maria Hill that he couldn't go on any missions for the whole month.

"Any trouble last night?" Enid asked; for a while now, Vision had been working Enid's late shift, and she's been working day; that way, she can spend time with Thor in the evening, and Vision can get used to working in crowds because it could get crowded at times.

"Once, a married couple got drunk and didn't want to leave the casino, even though there had been many compliments about them." Vision replied. "But I was able to get them removed with little fuss once I stepped in."

"Good, " Enid answered, "I am going to go do my rounds; you can go do whatever you want now; your shift is over." She picked up her coffee and went to leave the office.

"Ms. Enid." Vision called to her, "There is a guy in your meeting room wishing to speak with you; I told him to wait there, that you would be down soon."

"Did he give you his name?" Enid asked.

"Eric Lensherr." Vision answered, frowning; Enid opened the door and left, heading towards her meeting room, wondering just what Magneto wanted; she hadn't seen him since right before getting kidnapped by Ultron. The meeting room was not far from her office, so it took Enid no time to get there; when she opened the door and walked in, Magneto, who had been sitting behind her conference table, stood at once and removed the marron fedora from his head.

"My dear, it's a pleasure to see you again," Magneto said, nodding his head towards her.

"Mr. Lensherr, it's been a while," Enid said, pulling out her usual chair at the head of the table, which put her next to Magneto.

"Please, dear, call me Eric; no need to be so formal," Magneto said, sitting down; he set his hat on the table. "You're probably wondering why I am here."

"I think I might know," Enid replied. "It's this whole Mutant and Superbeing Act thing, right?"

"It's a part of the reason," Magneto replied. "But first, I should tell you, in a few days, I'm going to be announcing my bid to run against Graydon Creed for senator."

"Umm, well, that's surprising." Enid frowned, "Not sure why you came all this way to tell me."

"I need someone to help me run my campaign," Magneto answered. "Creed has Stark supporting him; I need someone just intelligent, who knows the law, and as well known as he is. Though if I'll go as far as to say you are more intelligent. "

"You're joking, right?" Enid demanded, "Why would you think I'd help you? Or even if I support you, will it do any good? I believe Iron Man is more famous than I am; I'm the one who denies being an Avenger."

"As you know, this act started out being the Mutant Registration Act; they've been trying to pass that for years but have failed. Now some fools got together and added more and made it to include individuals such as yourself and your lovable idiot," Magneto said.

"Thor isn't an idiot," Enid said.

"I apologize for my slip of the tongue," Magneto said, "But, you see, with everything that has happened last few years, this Act has more pull than it ever did before; people are scared. They want to know the government has plans to help them next time something happens. If Creed wins Senate, then he'll pass this bill; if I beat him, I veto it, then it eventually disappears."

"You make some excellent points, but I don't know; I have enough to do already," Enid replied.

"Do you realize not only am I at risk of being locked up but my son and daughter are also?" Magneto told her.

"How?" Enid asked, frowning.

"We are not only against humans and government, but we are also mutants, powerful ones," Magneto replied; "that fact makes us dangerous in their eyes, we haven't exactly shown we work well with humans either, so I would guess my whole brotherhood will be on their list. Perhaps even X-MEN, I have to admit Charles has some powerful students; Rogue and Gambit are lucky they are in space, as is my good friend Mystique."

"Even if I agree, what makes you think I'll even be of help?" Enid demanded.

"You have a strong voice," Magneto explained, "You're a lawyer and successful businesswoman and even helped save New York City from your sister and brother-in-law, you won't only appeal to younger female voters, but also, maybe older women who like to think they're going to be kept safe, perhaps even a few stuffy businesses men who only think of money, and don't like Tony Stark or Croydon Creed. Not to mention mutants and others like you."

"You make it sound as if I'll be running," Enid said, "How is who I am going to help you win?"

"Believe it or not, but who supports a candidate and who votes for them has some role in getting people to vote for them," Magneto explained.

"I don't want this bill to pass any more than you do, but I don't know about getting that involved." Enid frowned, "I don't even live in New York."

"You don't have to live in New York to help me out." Magneto replied, "And you'll only have to come out in a few days be there when I announce my bid to run, say a little speech, put down this law, and announce you'll be supporting me, running my campaign, a lot of stuff can be done here by computers, we have phones to chat with each other, and every once in a while I'll send my private jet to pick you up and fly you to New York when you're needed there."

"In April, Thor and I are going to Asgard for a month," Enid told him.

"That's fine; we'll make arrangements so your absence will not hurt anything," Magneto replied, "I need someone like you, someone with a strong voice, intelligent, knows the laws, loved by most people, and not a mutant."

Enid turned away from Magneto to think if there ever was a choice to pick between two evils having to choose between Graydon Creed and Eric Lensherr would be it, but what's the saying? Better to go with the devil, you know, than the devil you don't know; Enid knows little about Magneto but knows nothing about Creed except that he's Mystique's second eldest son and hates mutants with a passion.

"Alright." Enid agreed, "I'll do it, but if you win, do not make me regret helping you."

"I can't make any promises, but I won't be too hard on the humans," Magneto said, smiling slightly; he stood and held out his hand for Enid to shake, Enid stood, and shook his hand, then watched as Magneto brought it to his mouth to kiss, he paused a second, Before kissing her hand, then letting it go." I see congratulations are in order." giving what looked to be a forced smile.

"Thank you," Enid said, glancing at the diamond on her left ring finger; the light hitting it made it look as if it was sparkling.

"I'll be in contact with time and dates to be there; I will bid you farewell, for now, Enid, my dear. See you soon." Magneto said as he left.

Moment Magneto shut the door, Enid sat back down and rubbed her face; she hoped she did the right thing. But they were all getting desperate at this point; if this act passes, she can guess there will be chaos in every city and town, protests will turn violent. That's something they didn't need; the Avengers friendship has been slowly ending since Ultron; Thor was still a bit pissed that she got kidnapped, Banner hiding because he blames himself for Ultron. For tearing apart that city when he fought with Stark in the Hulkbuster suit, he is so afraid of turning to Hulk again that he won't even step foot out of Saphira's house. Romanoff and Barton spend most of their time on missions, though Romanoff, more so, Barton disappears on them every once in a while and can't be contacted. Enid believes his just home with his family, his wife, and his children; Saphira had told Enid he has. Stark spent most of his time supporting Creed or shutting up in a secret government facility working on some project. That shocked her; Stark never seemed like the type to work for any government. She was pretty sure they all forgot all about the threat of Thanos, that or no longer found it relevant probably decided Loki and Saphira had been lying since nothing had happened yet.

She was still taking it seriously, so was Charles Xavier and the X-Men; maybe she'll bring it up to Magneto if he wins; perhaps there is some defense he can lobby to get put in place. Besides Thor, Steve Rogers seemed to be the only official Avenger taking it seriously, but there wasn't much they could do except keep an eye out and try to keep busy; reason Thor was going to Asgard so often was that he had Heimdall keeping an eye out, but so far, he has seen nothing, one of Thanos children must be keeping them cloaked from view, Thor brought this up on the phone with Loki one day, and he said it was most likely Ebony Maw's doings, Thor said Loki sounded a bit guilty, which meant Loki must have told them about Heimdall's sight when being tortured by them.

Enid went back to work; it was a slow day, and when night fell, Vision took over, and she headed up to her penthouse; she decided to soak in a nice bubble bath before telling Thor her decision to try to help Eric Lensherr she knew he wouldn't be upset with her, maybe a little concerned but he would understand, Saphira, on the other hand, will probably find great amusement in it and run to Mystique and tell her all about how her sister agreed to run her friend's campaign. Loki would roll his eyes, and Rogue and Gambit would probably ask if she lost her mind, and Kurt, well, Kurt would keep what he thought to himself because he was too polite and kind to speak ill of anymore.

Enid made it back to her penthouse; Thor was the only one here sitting in his chair, Tempest curled up on the arm; Enid asked how Bruce was doing, then told Thor to let her take a bath, then they'd order room service and relax and watch some television. Enid's bath wasn't as long as she would have liked, but it was long enough, and she didn't want to keep Thor waiting when she told him of her decision like she thought he was a little concerned but supportive, they ordered room service then decided to watch a comedy while they ate.

A few days later, Enid was leaving the stage after giving her speech, which seemed to be a success; the crowd had listened and cheered with what Magneto had to say, and as she was leaving the stage, Tony Stark approached her, who had Romanoff and Barton with him, they just stood behind him, watching quietly.

"So, this is why you turned me down," Stark said, "Dose Thor know you're here?"

"I turned you down before I agreed to help Lensherr, " Enid replied, "And yes, Thor knows and supports me, and he never tells me what I can and can not do anyway."

"You know I shouldn't be surprised," Stark said, "Considering what your sister has done. Where is she now? Off plotting to take over another planet, they've found themselves a little army of powerful individuals."

"Do I need to remind you that my sister and her little army helped with Ultron?" Enid demanded, "If it hadn't been for them, you would have lost; LeBeau saved thousands of people when he blew up Sokoiva."

"You know where Saphira is, where Mystique is." Stark said, "Wanted criminals, deadly wanted criminals, and don't think I didn't catch Thor's slip the other day; you guys are hiding Banner, aren't you?"

"We are not hiding anyone," Enid replied, which is true; Banner asked them if he could stay at Saphira's house, they agreed; he was perfectly free to leave any time he wanted.

"Where is he?" Stark demanded; Enid shrugged.

"Banner is our friend, too," Barton spoke up. "We want to know that he's okay."

"I would hazard a guess he is doing fine," Enid answered, "He won't be, though, if the Act passes and he gets locked up like some criminal."

"It's for his safety as well as everyone else's. "Stark replied.

"Sure," Enid said, then turned to walk away, and Stark called out to her.

"You're on the wrong side of this war," Stark replied; Enid turned to look at him as she crossed her arms.

"I was unaware we were in a war." Enid replied, "I wish someone would have told me; I would have worn my armor."

"Okay, I might have used the wrong word," Stark said, "Call it a battle then, but not in the fighting sense, but it could very well end up being a war, and you will be on the losing end."

"I'm just trying to let everyone keep their freedom, Mr. Stark," Enid said before turning and walking away.

AN as you see decided to use the Mutant Registration Act online also mentioned a Superhuman Registration Act, so I just put those together but changed superhuman to superbeing because Thor and Enid aren't human, and they needed to be included.

I am not trying to make anyone a bad guy, not bash any characters; they honestly think they are doing what is best for everyone to keep the planet, all except Creed and his people at least.
