AN: There has been a time skip in this chapter; not much happens, mainly showing what a handful Fenrir can be, with a little other stuff.

Chapter 53 Count Down to Asgard.

Saphira woke after yet another bad dream; Loki was sound asleep lying next to her, and over in his crib Fenrir laid asleep; he was now seven months old and had learned to raise his head on his own and turn on to his belly, set up and was starting to crawl, he was getting so big, so fast. It made Saphira's heartache; she now had little less than two and a half years with him; time was going by too fast; no wonder she didn't sleep much even when Fenrir started sleeping through most of the night.

Saphira rolled over to face Loki; he had rolled over facing the other way in his sleep; the room was so quiet, she could hear Loki's soft breathing, she only had two and a half years left with him too, The Phoenix Force had explained everything to her, the plan and how it all should end, everything, if it goes right, will turn out fine in the end, Saphira could only hope that Loki doesn't hate her in the future, or Fenrir, a tear slip down Saphira's cheek, she wiped it away and sat up, her throat was dry. She decided to walk down to the kitchen for a cold drink of something, anything, possibly water, plus she needed to stop thinking about bad stuff; she didn't want to spend these next two years crying and depressed.

Saphira threw the covers off herself and got up; she was wearing blue shorts and a pink t-shirt, so there was no reason to change or cover herself with a robe before leaving the room, but she did check on Fenrir and thought about taking the baby monitor with her, but decided if Fenrir woke up crying, it would wake Loki, so he should be okay long enough for her to grab something cold to drink, so, Saphira left the room and headed down the corridor, yawning, as she still felt sleepy.

When Saphira entered the kitchen, she went to flip on the light but realized it was already on. Mystique sat at the kitchen table with a shot glass in her hand, with Remy's bottle of some alcoholic drink he picked up on Xander sitting on the table in front of her; Saphira didn't know what it was; it was like Midgardain whisky, but a lot stronger, so strong Remy has only drunk from it once, and he didn't even finish the glass.

"Can't sleep?" Saphira asked, heading to the fridge to get a bottle of water.

"Oh no, I'm sleeping just fine, can't you tell." Mystique replied, then giggled, a sound Saphira had never heard come from Mystique; she looked at her in surprise and realized she was drunk; Saphira watched as Mystique filled the shot glass and downed it. "Did you come in here for a reason, or was it to stare at me?"

"I was thirsty," Saphira said, turning back to the fridge to the water; she shut the fridge and turned back around to see Mystique down another shot glass full.

"In Four days." Mystique almost shouted, making Saphira jump a little "Four days, and we'll be on Asgard, gold as far as the eye can see."

"Yeah, Asgard does have a lot of gold," Saphira said, not knowing what else to say.

"Such a tacky place, Odin does not know how to decorate." Mystique replied, "Maybe I will give him a few pointers. No, better yet, I can lure him to the Rainbow Bridge and give him a little push, and bye-bye no more Odin."

"Maybe you should try to get some rest," Saphira said, walking towards the table and reaching for the liquid bottle, "Sounds like you've had enough of that for the night."

Mystique snatched the bottle out of Saphira's reach, then pointed at her with the top of it. "Don't ever tell me what to do."

"Mysti, I wasn't trying to.."

"Have a seat; we'll talk." Mystique replied, kicking the chair in front of her out, which hit Saphira in the stomach accidentally; she doubled over with an oof sound, and Mystique laughed at her; Saphira glared at her as she sat.

"What do you want to talk about?" Saphira asked, taking a drink of her water as she glanced at the clock on the wall; it was 2:11 am.

"Yesterday was my birthday, you know." Mystique replied, "Happy Birthday to me; I'm now one thousand and eighty years old."

"Happy belated birthday, if you'd said we would have celebrated it," Saphira replied. Mystique shook her head.

"I'm too old for such nonsense." Mystique replied.

"Then why did you decide to get drunk?" Saphira asked as she watched Mystique drink another glass.

"Do you know what it's like to be in love with someone who you can never have?" Mystique asked, " I do; I've been in love with a married woman for centuries, thought I was over it, but, apparently, not, because here I am trying to drink the thought of her out of my head."

"Do you honestly want to tell me this?" Saphira asked, "Maybe you should..."

"Go kill her husband?" Mystique asked, "Yes, brilliant idea. I'll get Loki to help me." She laughed. Then made a motion with her hand like she was pushing an invisible person. "Just one little push."

"Alright, you really have had enough; I think you should go to bed now; you are past drunk," Saphira replied.

"Okay, okay." Mystique replied, "Maybe you're right." She stood, stumbled, tripped over her own feet, and fell to the floor.

"Are you okay?" Saphira asked, standing and looking over the table at her.

"Ops," Mystique replied; she then grabbed onto the chair but only succeeded in knocking it over on its side. Saphira was starting to get a little worried; she'd never seen Mystique like this before; she was acting nothing like herself; Saphira wanted to get Loki but didn't want to leave Mystique alone.

"Here, I'll help you to bed," Saphira said, walking over to Mystique to help her stand, "It's late; we both should be in bed."

"I'm flattered by the offer, but I don't think Loki would like that." Mystique replied, then burst out laughing as if she had just told the funniest joke in the world.

Saphira huffed in annoyance, then bent down and pulled Mystique to her feet; she stumbled and nearly fell again, but Saphira was able to hold her up and led her out of the kitchen and down the hall, which was not easy because she was staggering and laughing, and at times wouldn't even walk at all, and kept trying to get out of Saphira's hold.

"I thought we were in space." Mystique said as she stumbled then fell against the wall, leaning in the vines.

"We are," Saphira replied, putting her hands on her hips.

"Then who put all the gravity in here?" Mystique replied, trying to stand upright, but stumbled, and as she fell forward, the vines reached out and grabbed her, stopping her from falling on her face; startling her in her drunken state; Mystique squealed and tried to jump out of their reach, stumbled and fell on her butt, then laid down on the floor and started laughing, while she hit the ground with her hand, making a loud banging noise.

"Mystique, please, stop, you're being too loud; you're going to wake up Fenny," Saphira complained.

"Fenny, whose Fenny?" Mystique demanded, rolling on her back and looking up at her.

"Fenrir, my baby," Saphira replied; Mystique frowned at her looking confused.

"Baby?" She asked, "We have a baby?"

"No, Loki and I have a baby," Saphira replied, "You have a grandbaby."

"Oh, that baby." Mystique replied, then started laughing again; Saphira groaned and leaned down, grabbed one of Mystique's arms and pulled her to her feet; pulled a little too hard, and Saphira stumbled backward and fell, pulling Mystique on top of her.

"Damn, you're heavy." Saphira groaned, pushing Mystique off her; she landed on her back with a loud thump; Saphira was debating whether she should leave Mystique lying there and go back to bed or try to help her to bed when Saphira was about to make up her mind, she heard footsteps coming their way.

"What the hell is going on?" Loki's voice rang out; Saphira rolled over and looked up; Loki was standing there looking mad, with the baby monitor in his hand. "I just got Fenrir back to sleep."

"Your mom is drunk," Saphira said, climbing to her feet.

"Drunk?" Loki demanded, looking towards Mystique as Remy walked up to them; his hair was messy, and he was only in boxer shorts.

"What's going on?" Remy asked, scratching his head and yawning. "I was sleeping pretty good."

"Sorry, Rem Rem," Saphira replied; she pointed down at Mystique. "She for some reason decided to get into that liquid you got on Xander and drink almost half the bottle; I was trying to help her get to her room to sleep it off, but, you see how that went."

"Thanks for trying to help her, darling," Loki replied; he walked to Saphira and handed her the baby monitor. "Go make sure Fenrir does not wake; I'll get Mum to bed."

"I'll help you, mon ami," Remy replied; he and Loki walked to Mystique. Both grabbed one of her arms and pulled her up; she stumbled and started giggling; she looked up at Remy.

"Gambit, what are you doing here." Mystique demanded.

"Helping you, though, I should leave you laying on the floor," Remy replied as she stumbled into him; Loki pulled her back upright, then he and Remy held on to her as they led her down the hall.

"Gambit." Mystique giggled as they walked past Saphira. "That's such a funny name." She repeated it, but this time, she said it slowly, then giggled.

"Remy wished he had a video camera; I would love to be able to rewatch this," Remy said.

"You know, you being shirtless like this reminds me of the time we took a shower together." Mystique replied.

"Nothing happened." Remy denied as Loki looked at him with a shocked look, shaking her head; Saphira headed to her room to check on her baby.

Hours later, when everyone else was up, Mystique stayed in bed, not leaving her room at all; whether she was sick with a massive hangover or embarrassed, Saphira didn't know, probably both, but they all left her alone; when Saphira had explained to Loki how she had found Mystique, and what all she had said in the kitchen, Loki had frowned when she mentioned the part where Mystique mentioned being in love with a married woman, he got this thoughtful look on his face, then his eyes widened in surprise for a moment; whatever he figured out or realized, he did not share with Saphira, and she didn't ask because she knew Loki was respecting his mom's privacy. The same reason neither question what Mystique had said about Remy the night before.

Three days before they would arrive on Asgard, Saphira was sitting in the entertainment room, turned sideways on the sofa with her legs crossed in front of her, on the cushion playing cards laid out on the couch; Saphira was playing solitaire, on the other sofa, Loki laid on his back, playing a game on his phone, and Fenrir was currently grabbing hold of the couch and pulling himself to his feet; the three of them were the only ones in the room, the others were off doing other things, Mystique was in control, where she's been ever since finally living her room, Loki had gone in there to speak with her, and he didn't come out for two hours.

"No, Fen Fen, we don't chew on Uncle Rem's cards," Saphira said; as Fenrir grabbed one of the cards and stuck it in his mouth, she took the card from him, Fenrir cried out and knocked half of them in the floor. "Fenrir, that's not nice."

"He's only seven months, love; I am not sure if he understands what you are saying," Loki said; Fenrir sat down and picked up a card and stuck it in his mouth.

"Fenny, honey, you're going to cut your gums." Saphira took the card from him again, and he started crying, so she picked him, and sat him in her lap. "Loki, please pick the cards up for me while I try to calm him."

"Rosey," Loki called to the plant that was lying at his feet; she climbed down from the couch over to the cards and began picking them up and sitting them on the sofa with the others, then Rosey gathered them all together and put them down in their box.

"Thanks, Rosey," Saphira said, sounding amused.

"Damn zombies, got in my house," Loki mumbled to himself, still lying on the couch.

Saphira stood Fenrir up in her lap and had him as she talked to him; he reached out and grabbed a fist full of her hair, making Saphira cry out, then Rosey, trying to help, reached two vines up and tried to grab Fenrir, making him scream out, and pull harder on Saphira's hair.

"Rosey, don't, you're making it worse, let go of him," Saphira said, that got Loki up as he rushed over to help, first making Rosey let go of Fenrir, then chasing her away, then turned back to Saphira and his son, to help get him off Saphira's hair.

"Fenrir, you do not grab mummy's hair," Loki said, gently opening his hand and pulling Saphira's hair away from him. "Someone is in a mood today."

"I don't know what is wrong with him," Saphira said, as Loki took Fenrir, who laid his head on Loki's shoulder, and started chewing on it.

"Have we turned into a vampire?" Loki asked, pulling Fenrir away and frowning at him, "He's pulling at his ear; I hope he is not getting sick." Saphira stood and felt Fenrir's forehead; he didn't feel warm.

"Do you think he could be teething?" Saphira asked, "He wants to chew on everything, cranky, and then pulling his ear could be from pain."

"You're probably right, darling," Loki replied, "Take him; I'll be right back." Loki handed his baby to Saphira, then turned and left the room.

"Would you like mommy to set on the floor with you and play?" Saphira asked, sitting down and sitting Fenrir next to her. When he first began moving on his own, they had removed the coffee table from the entertainment room and covered that part of the floor in padding, so Fenrir could move around and play without worries of him getting hurt.

It didn't take long for Loki to return; he was carrying the Mjolnir-shaped teething ring in his hand, sat on the floor in front of them, and handed the ring to Fenrir, who started chewing on it.

"I believe you are right, darling," Loki said, watching him.

"Poor little guy," Saphira said, running her hand through his hair. "This was one of the things I was not looking forward to because I don't like the thought of him in pain."

"Nor do I, love," Loki said, "We'll be in Asgard in a couple of days; I'll ask Mother if there is a safe potion we can give him for it."

The teething ring worked somewhat in helping Fenrir's sore gums; he was, in fact, teething, and it made him a bit cranky at times. Due to his jotuun ability, Loki was able to keep Fenrir's teething ring, chilled and ready for him, when he didn't have his fits over his gums hurting, he was getting into everything, Fenrir was moving more and more on his own, meaning they had to pack up anything he might get into or hurt on or could break.

Kurt and Loki were even talking about somehow covering the vines going down the hall, maybe with a glass wall, leaving a door so Saphira could get in and tend to them; Loki was concerned about them reaching out and tripping Fenrir when he got big enough to walk. Which by the rate he was going wouldn't belong; he was crawling pretty good now if they didn't watch him carefully enough, Fenrir would be on the other side of the room before they knew it; he was keeping Loki and Saphira on their feet, it could be frustrating at times, Fenrir seemed to be more active than a lot of babies his age, and sometimes his parents were worn out taking care of their son. Still, they loved every minute of it too.

Two days before they would arrive on Asgard, Loki decided to try Fenrir on baby food; he first tried peas, Fenrir spit them out, he tried carrots, Fenrir spit them out, Loki fed him sweet potatoes, again, he spit it, Loki frowned at the jars of baby food sitting in front of him, wondering which to try next.

"Babe, he's probably not ready for solid foods yet," Saphira said as she took Fenrir's baby bib and wiped his mouth off.

"My book says babies should be eating baby food by seven months," Loki replied.

"Here, let me, maybe he wants his Mommy to feed him," Saphira said, picking up a jar of food and the spoon. She opened the jar and then fed it to Fenrir; a moment later, Fenrir spites it out, causing Loki to laugh.

"He wanted Mummy to feed him, eh?" Loki asked.

"Shut up, " Saphira mumbled as she once again wiped Fenrir's face off; he just laughed.

"He may not be a fan of vegetables," Loki said; he picked up a jar of applesauce and fed it to Fenrir, and this time Fenrir didn't spite it out, so Loki fed him, happy this one Fenrir enjoyed.

One day before they would arrive on Asgard, Loki, Kurt, and Remy were doing something together. While Rogue, Mystique, and Saphira, along with Fenrir, were in the entertainment room watching a movie, Rogue sat on one sofa, Mystique on the other, Saphira sat on the floor, leaning against the couch; Mischief laid on the couch asleep behind her, and Remy's cat, Oliver, laid curled up sleeping on the back of the sofa Rogue sat.

Fenrir sat next to Saphira's legs, chewing on his teething ring and calling out baby noises. He then tossed it down and laid over on Saphira's legs, using them to try to stand, then stopped, leaned over, and started chewing on her leg.

"Eww, Fen, don't you're getting slobber on me." Saphira leaned and picked him up and put him in her lap, "That's yucky." She picked up his ring. "Here, chew on baby Mjolnir."

Whether he was listening to Saphira or not is unknown, but Fenrir did sit there in his mother's lap chewing on his teething ring that had been a gift from his Uncle Thor; he would chew on it, making his baby noises, then pull it out, and mumble his baby talk, then chew on it some more, that's when Loki entered the room, having got done with whatever he and the others were doing, he walked over. He sat on the floor next to Saphira.

"What have you been up to?" Saphira asked.

"Remy, Kurt, and I have been doing some measuring and planning, " Loki replied, "I believe we have figured out how to make that glass wall to block your plants; I'll order the glass panels while on Asgard."

"That's good, " Saphira replied, "You have to make sure there is enough room between the glass and flower beds for me to move around."

"There will be darling, do not worry; I have it all figured out," Loki replied, "I even picked out spells to use to make the glass unbreakable and make the bottom feel like a cushion so if Fenrir falls against it, he won't hurt himself."

"Good," Saphira replied as Fenrir shook the teething ring, then reached it out towards Loki as if offering it to him.

"Thank you, but daddy has all his teeth already; you keep it," Loki told him, then turned back to Saphira when Fenrir stuck it back in his mouth. "I may have to get Mother to order the glass for me, though; I do not believe my appearance is going to be well received. People may not want to do business with me."

"Do you think there will be trouble?" Saphira asked.

"Probably not, I'm sure Odin, by Thor's request, has warned everyone from trying anything," Loki replied, "But that will not stop many from acting hostile, mumbling things, and giving us the cold shoulder, may even be a few guards that try to challenge me despite the warning."

"A few guards?" Saphira asked.

"Well, darling, I did kill a lot and injured even more when breaking you out of the dungeons." Loki reminded her, "I'm expecting it; you know how they stick together."

Loki would have said more, but then a tiny hammer smacked him between the eyes, making Saphira laugh; Loki, too, after a moment of surprise, was amused, not sure if Fenrir did it on purpose, most likely not, but Saphira still found it funny.

"Is someone upset he isn't getting attention?" Saphira asked, standing Fenrir up, where he was standing in her lap.

"Fenrir, my little trickster, you should not throw things at daddy," Loki said, but he was smiling.

Fenrir made some baby noises, clapped his tiny little hands while giggling, squealed out, then suddenly, out of nowhere, said, "Dada."

Saphira and Loki stared at him in surprise for a moment, then Loki laughed while Saphira groaned.

"Aww, Fen, Fen, your first word was supposed to be Mama," Saphira said, "Can you say, Mama?" Fenrir just stuck his hand in his mouth, chewing on his fingers.

It was now just three hours before they would arrive on Asgard, and Saphira sat on the floor in her room; she had filled Fenrir's baby tub with water and was bathing him, or trying to, Fenrir wouldn't sit still and kept splashing the water, getting it everywhere.

"Fen, honey, mommy, already took her bath," Saphira said as he splashed more water, getting water on her bathrobe; she had already taken a shower but hadn't dressed yet, not wanting to get the dress she was going to wear when they arrived on Asgard wet, there was going to be a welcome feast, welcoming them there, tomorrow would start the week-long celebration. On the last day, Thor and Enid will get married.

Saphira took the little cup she had and covered Fenrir's eyes, and gently poured water over his head, then poured some of his baby shampoos into her hand then ran it through his hair before picking up the cup again, covering Fenrir's eyes and pouring the water over his head to rinse the soap out, Fenrir cried out, slamming his hands in the bathwater splashing Saphira, wetting her face and front of her hair.

"Fenrir, you got mommy all wet," Saphira said, picking up the towel next to her, wiping her face off, then lifting Fenrir out of the bathwater and wrapping the towel around him, and walking over to the bed, so, Saphira could dry, then dress Fenrir, she had just put his diaper on him when there was a knock on the door.

"Come in," Saphira called as she pulled up Fenrir's trousers; he would be wearing a suit, just like the ones Loki loves to wear. They all wanted to look their best when they arrived.

"Where's Loki?" Remy asked as he walked into the room.

"He's in the control room with Mystique," Saphira answered, slipping Fenrir's arm into his sleeve, then pulling the blouse around to put his other arm in the sleeve.

"Ah, well, it was you. I was looking for soeur," Remy replied as Saphira sat Fenrir down to button his shirt.

"What do you need?" Saphira asked, tucking his shirt in, then she put on his tiny gold vest, then slipped an arm through his suit jacket.

"It's not me; it's Rogue," Remy answered, "She is a bit nervous about going to Asgard and wants to know if you'll help her with her hair and makeup; she's never been too into the girly things and you are, and she wants to look her best, I don't know why she's even bothered but.." He stopped talking a shrugged.

"Yeah, I can help," Saphira said, putting Fenrir's little gold tie on him. She picked up his baby brush and ran it through Fenrir's hair, then picked up the little helmet lying on the bed that matched Loki's and sat on his head, then picked him up and turned to Remy, "So, what do you think? Does he look handsome?"

"I think I know what Loki looked like as a baby now." Remy laughed. Saphira picked up his teething ring and handed it to him, then the little towel they kept on hand to wipe his mouth since he was drooling more than usual because of his teething. "Here, take him; I'll clean up his bath mess; tell Rogue I'll be there shortly to help her, then will you take him to Loki for me, please?"

"Sure, souer," Remy said, taking Fenrir out of her arms, then the little towel she handed him. "How about me? Think Remy looks handsome?"

Saphira looked Remy over; he was wearing a black suit like Fenrir's, and like the one Loki was wearing when he left the room earlier, except instead of a gold tie and vest, Remy had on dark green ones. They had all talked about it a while back and decided since Loki would most likely arrive at a lot of hate and glares, even more so than Saphira, they were all going to come in his colors, show support for him, and show they were on his side.

"You look amazing," Saphira told him, "Asgard will be jealous our family will be the best looking ones there."

"Remy can agree with that," Remy said, "Come on, Fenrir, let's go find your dad." Remy left the room with Fenrir, and Saphira cleaned up where she gave him his bath; it didn't take long, and she grabbed everything she was going to need, then left the room, heading towards Rogue's to help her out. She knocked on the door, then went in after being she could and laid her stuff on Rogue and Remy's bed.

"I just saw Fen; he looked adorable," Rogue told her.

"I know, right?" Saphira asked, "Fenny has to be the most adorable baby ever, now let's get your hair fixed."

"Hey, Sugar, I truly appreciate your help," Rogue said when Saphira took a good look at Rogue.

"Doesn't look like you need my help; you look beautiful, Rue," Saphira told her, taking in the dress she was wearing; it was long, green, no sleeve, a gold stranded, with sequins went around her waist, then crossed up under her chest, and went around the top.

"Thank you." Rogue replied, "But it's my hair; I have no idea what to do with it, and I need help with makeup; I've never been one that dressed up very often."

"Don't worry; I'll have you where Remy can't keep his eyes off you." Saphira said, "Have a seat; I'll do your hair first."

Rogue sat down in a chair, and Saphira got to work; as she worked on her hair, the two girls chatted about anything and everything, gossiping about their husbands, stories from long ago, Saphira told her about Fenrir making a mess with his bathwater, they turned into girl talk about celebrating crushes, where Saphira admitted to having a bit of a fangirl crush on Steve Rogers, which is why she loves to annoy him constantly on the phone. Rogue agreed he was cute, but when it comes to the Avengers, Hawkeye was the one she liked, then that conversation turned to the movie star crushes; then to other things, it was almost like two teenage girls at a sleepover. Both were laughing and having fun.

"There, your hair is all done," Saphira announced; she made a mirror appear and handed it to Rogue.

"I love it," Rogue said, smiling; Saphira had done part of Rogue's hair up in a French braid and left most of it hanging down. "Thanks."

"No problem, Rue," Saphira replied, "now, your makeup."

Saphira pulled another chair in front of Rogue and began to apply makeup on her; it didn't take long until Saphira was done and was getting into the bag of jewelry she brought with her, picking out some for Rogue to borrow, which was a gold choker with an emerald hanging down, along with matching earrings and bracket.

"Oh, sugar, I don't know about wearing those; they look expensive," Rogue said.

"They are." Saphira agreed, "None of my jewelry is cheap or fake, but it's okay; I did your hair and makeup, that means we are besties now; we borrow each other's stuff."

"Oh, okay." Rogue laughed, and she allowed Saphira to put the choker on her; she put on the earrings and bracket. Afterward, they chatted again as Saphira got dressed and fixed her own and make-up.

Saphira's dress was similar to Rogue's, with some differences; it was a little bit lighter green, made out I thinner material, it was sleeveless, but the top went up in an almost Diamond shape, held up with a gold snakeskin pattern strap that went around Saphira's neck, with two gold snakeskin patterns straps across her waist and up her sides, she wore gold high heels with buckles, where Roge had black flats.

Saphira kept her hair hanging down, with one side pushed back, with a gold snake-shaped hair clip that had emerald eyes, and she put on earrings that were little gold snakes.

"Loki ain't gonna be able to take his eyes off you, sugar," Rogue said.

"Thank you," Saphira replied, grinning.

Rogue and Saphira, was right when they finally made it into the control room; Loki and Remy couldn't keep their eyes off them; then Loki handed Fenrir to Kurt; he wore a black suit and green tie and vest like Remy was.

"I have something for you two," Loki said, standing; two of his daggers appeared in his hands, unlike they usually were; these two were in sheaths. "I gave the others one; I want you, two ladies, to keep these on you at all times while on Asgard; I do not think we'll have much trouble while there, but I'm not taking any chances, I know you are both powerful women, but still, the daggers will make me feel better."

"Okay, sugar, we'll wear them," Rogue said; taking one, she hooked it to her side, and Loki thanked her as she took her seat. He turned to Saphira.

"I probably won't use it," Saphira said, taking the dagger and hooking it on the gold strap on her side. "Anyone mess with me, I'll burn them to a crisp,"

"Please do not burn anyone to a crisp, darling." Loki said, "The smell would be horrid." Saphira laughed as she reached up and kissed him.

"I'll try not to," Saphira said. Loki grinned.

"You look, gorgeous love." He said they kissed again, then Loki took Fenrir back from Kurt and sat down in his lap.

As Saphira took her seat, she glanced at Mystique; she was not dressed, up to but wearing dark green leather trousers, tall black leather boots, along with a black leather top that looked more like a bra; two daggers hooked to her sides. A gun strapped around her thigh, Saphira did notice that one of the daggers was Loki's so, she must have started with one, and Loki gave her one of his like he did everyone else.

It was five minutes before they would arrive on Asgard, and as Saphira looked out the front windshield, the Rainbow Bridge came into view, with the tall golden palace standing in the distance.

AN: Not one of my best chapters, but I want to hurry and get them on Asgard, show some of Fenrir, show Rogue and Saphira bonding, give a hint of a side story with Mystique; I know she was a lot out of character in this chapter, but she was drunk on powerful alien alcohol so, yeah, she'd be out of it.

An I keep forgetting to add if anyone is wondering, no, I did not makeup Gambit's three cats; in the comics, he really does have three pet cats named Luicfur, Oliver, and Figaro.
