AN: I just recently read a two-part spiderman comic featuring Loki and decided to borrow the character they fight and use her to give the women someone to battle, and my first time writing in Rogue's POV, so, hopefully, I did write her well.
Disclaimer I own nothing.
Chapter 56: Morwen
Rogue encouraged Remy to go ahead and go with Loki and Kurt, even though she wanted him to stay with her but also didn't want her two brothers to go on this trip alone, not that Rogue thought Thor would do anything, she didn't trust the other three, because she didn't know them and didn't like what she has seen so far, Loki didn't seem to care for anyone on this planet other than Frigga and Thor. However, she could see why Loki and Saphira would still feel a connection to this place; it was beautiful, the view from the room she and Remy were staying in overlooked the most beautiful garden, she was sure Saphira had a hand in starting; it looked too much like her work, her sister-in-law was somewhat of an artist when it came to her plants and flowers, she treated them like most people treated their pets or possibly children.
Rogue stepped out of the shower and started to dry her body off; she had no idea if it was close to lunchtime or after lunch; it took a while for Rogue to fall back asleep this morning after her older brother thought it was okay to barge into their room to drag her husband out of bed; Rogue had just rolled over and tried to go back to sleep, which took her until an hour after Remy had left to do so, and she slept a few good hours before waking up and hopping in the shower, Rogue now tied a towel around herself and walked into the bedroom, she picked Oliver up and sat him down off her bag to get her something out to wear; the other two cats were around the room somewhere, Remy insisted on bringing them off the ship, though he did have a point, they would be no one to feed them if they didn't. Saphira brought Rosey and Mischief, so; it made sense.
Rogue got dressed, putting on jeans and a pink t-shirt; ran her brush through her hair, then walked out onto the balcony and stood there looking out at the beautiful garden; her thoughts turned to her sister-in-law; they have come a long way since they first met; Rogue hated her back then, during the Chitauri invasion, primarily due to jealously; who wouldn't be jealous after learning their husband had a past with someone that looked like Saphira? Especially when you believed they had been more than friends.
Rogue remembers that day like it was yesterday; Xavier had called them all into a meeting about being asked for help; he explained all about what was going on when he spoke Saphira's name; Remy had paled. Emotions such as shock, anger, and betrayal crossed his face. Rogue found out she was an old friend of his; she thought this meant an old flame, then seeing them sitting together talking on the sidewalk while everyone else was fighting, with the city getting destroyed around them. She saw them laugh; they hugged, then Remy covered her body with his after they blow-up a Chitauri ship together, protecting her from being hurt. Rogue was angry; knocking Saphira out of Stark's window had been a secret warning for her to stay away from her husband, that Remy LeBeau was her man. It hurt when she watched Remy trying to comfort Saphira after losing; it hurt, even more when Remy covered for Saphira, claiming the blast came from him.
When Remy finally got home that night; they had a big fight over Saphira until Rogue calmed down enough for Remy to explain everything to her; she still didn't like it; after all, Saphira had helped destroy New York and killed a lot of people, but Rogue said nothing when Remy decided he wanted to visit her in prison, and now, almost three years later and Rogue considered Saphira and Loki family and was willing to go up against Asgard if she had to to keep them all safe. Rogue decided she liked how things turned out; she loved having Mystique back as her mom; she loved having a second brother. An adorable nephew and being good friends with her sister-in-law, she was happy with being a part of a family that was truly hers.
Rogue heard someone come into her room, and knowing who it was, she didn't bother to move from her spot, and a few minutes later, Mystique walked out onto the balcony next to her.
"Morning, mom," Rogue said; Mystique turned around and leaned against the railing; she had on ripped up jeans and a black sports bar, and that was it, besides her boots, the two daggers hooked to her belt; her leg facing Rogue had a hole big enough you could stick your hand. Rogue could see why Mystique had her gun strapped to her leg under her jeans.
"I came to see if you were awake." Mystique said, "You ready to go see if Saphira is up before she wanders off somewhere by herself."
"Yeah, okay," Rogue said; she looked down at Mystique's gun strapped to her leg; before getting here, Rogue had pointed out earth guns don't hurt Asgardians or at least didn't Loki, Mystique had explained the bullets in her gun was made from adamantium, being the strongest metal in the universe, she figured that would at least do some damage if not kill them. When Rogue joked about how Mystique was serious about protecting Loki, she replied that Loki wasn't the only person she cared for and wanted to keep safe.
Mystique got off the railing and headed for the door; Rogue had to hurry to catch up with her; when they reached Loki's chambers, Mystique walked in without even knocking, thankfully Saphira was already up and feeding Fenrir; as she and Mystique chatted, Rogue took a curious look around the room; she found she liked it. However, the chairs and portrait of Loki over the fireplace were a bit much, and when she noticed the headboard of his massive bed, she couldn't help but bust out laughing. Mystique and Saphira had thought she had lost her mind until she pointed at the headboard with the horns sticking out at the top.
After Saphira fed Fenrir, she handed him to Mystique then went into the bathroom to get dressed; she came back out wearing a pair of skinny pink jeans that had silver sparkles all over them, and a hole in each knee, along with a blue crop top that had a sparkly Butterfly on it, she took Fenrir back. They left to see if Enid was up yet. Saphira knocked on the door once, then went in; Enid was still asleep, lying with her back to them; the covers were down, showing she was only wearing underwear and a t-shirt. Rogue looked away and noticed Thor kept his room a bit plain compared to Loki's. It barely had anything in it, a big comfy-looking chair, a bed, and two wardrobes; nothing hung above the fireplace, though a few trophies sat on the mental.
"Here, Fen Fen, wake up, Auntie Enid," Saphira said, and Rogue looked over in time to see Saphira stand Fenrir up on Enid's side and let him jump up and down while he giggled.
"Saphira," Enid groaned, "Let me sleep; Thor had me up before dawn."
"It's lunchtime, Sister," Saphira said, sitting Fenrir down on the bed in front of Enid, "I'm hungry; get up; come join us for lunch."
"Saphira, get your baby," Enid said, as Fenrir used her to stand up and was trying to climb up on her side, "I can't get up if he's crawling on me." Saphira picked Fenrir up and stepped away, allowing Enid room to set up, which she didn't do.
"Enid, come on, get up," Saphira demanded; still, she didn't move.
"Nice ass." Mystique suddenly said, causing Saphira and Rogue to look at her surprised; Enid raised real fast, pulled her shirt down, and glared at Mystique.
"Mom." Rogue snapped, crossing her arms.
"What?" Mystique shrugged, "Got her up, didn't it?"
Enid didn't take long to shower and dress, putting on leggings and a white blouse; she pulled her hair back and pinned it up, then they left Thor's chambers with Saphira complaining about it being too plain and comparing it to Loki's room, Enid said nothing just let her ramble on. When they got into what Rogue guessed was the cafeteria, there was already food sat out, and Frigga, along with Lady Sif, sat at one eating; that's where Enid and Saphira headed; they talked with Frigga and Sif as they had lunch, Rogue decided she liked Sif, she was friendly and was also a friend of Enid's not just Thor's, she was going to be on Enid's side for the wedding, Saphira had explained when they say on their side think of it something like a bridesmaid, they stand up there with them like that, wearing fancy dresses.
After lunch, they took a walk in the gardens; Sif and Frigga had joined them, after the garden, they showed Mystique and Rogue around the palace inside and out, everyone took turns holding Fenrir, Saphira spent most of her time texting Loki; after the tours, Enid took them to show them her wedding dress, and Saphira went crazy over it, it was a stunning dress. Enid told them they would go to the dressmaker's tomorrow and get them fitted for their attire. At one point, Saphira nearly gave her a heart attack when she suddenly announced Remy had been thrown from his horse, rolled down a hill, and crashed through the ground into an old crypt; she seemed to realize that and quickly assured her Remy was fine, only got some bruises on his back that Loki healed for him.
That evening Saphira, Mystique, and Rogue had an early dinner, then headed off to move their things to Thor's chambers because they didn't want to go to the celebration; by then, Fenrir had gotten jealous of his mother's attention being on her phone and somehow had grabbed it and covered it in ice; Rogue let her use Remy's phone. He had forgotten that morning. Mystique watched Fenrir in Thor's chambers while Rogue and Saphira carried their things to the room, a mattress for each of them and their cats. Since Thor's room was so big and empty, they were able to fit two full-size beds, along with the mattress from Loki's bed, side by side in a line on the floor and made them up, and then put on pajamas and got out snacks and sit around chatting. Rogue laid on the mattresses Saphira had taken off Loki's bed. Next to her on her mattress, Fenrir was having fun crawling around and playing with his baby toys; he would make noises and at times call out Dada.
Around midnight Enid showed up; Frigga was with her, and she announced that she had decided to join them for their sleepover. To Rogue's surprise, Mystique offered Frigga a pair of pajamas to put on, then sat next to her on Thor's bed after she went into the bathroom and changed. Rogue moved to her bed to allow Enid a spot on Saphira's bed, Frigga was going to sleep in Thor's bed, Mischief laid behind them, curled up in a ball, Lucifer was still hiding under the bed where he had run earlier after Fenrir had pulled his tail, Oliver was in Thor's chair, and Figaro was in the corner. Rosey, the plant, had refused to leave the flower pot in the corner of Loki's room; Saphira said she had been there since Loki left that morning. Rosey was pouting because Loki wouldn't take her camping with him. Earlier Saphira had asked Enid if Thor brought the cat-like creature she had created with them; Enid told her Thor thought it best to leave her with Bucky Barns, the only other person she liked.
Their conversation turned to talk about their weddings, marriage than honeymoons; Rogue had been a little surprised to learn Frigga and Odin had an arranged marriage, and she had barely known him when they wed; they all laughed at their honeymoon stories; Frigga and Odin had gone to the same place Thor and Enid were planning to go, a realm called Vanhaim, though Odin had cut their stay short; they were only there for three days, Rogue and Remy's honeymoon had been to space but then got interrupted when Kitty Pryde sent them on a mission.
"Loki and I broke into area 51 on our honeymoon," Saphira said. They all turned and gave her a weird look; she just shrugged.
"Of course you did," Enid said, shaking her head. "You two, I don't even know how to explain you two; you guys sure are a unique couple, that's for sure, not another pair like you."
"That's a good thing," Rogue said, then laughed when Saphira threw a pillow at her; Rogue caught it and hit Saphira on the head with it, she grabbed another one, and they hit each other with them until they hit together in the air, and the pillows burst, and feathers went everywhere.
"Oh no." Saphira laughed, "We broke Loki's pillows." Rogue and Saphira looked at each other and burst into giggles.
"He's going to be mad," Rogue said in between giggles.
"And now I don't have a pillow to use," Saphira complained; Enid rolled her eyes.
"Here, Thor's bed is full of them, use one," Frigga told her, tossing a pillow down to her; Saphira frowned at it, then lifted it with two fingers as if inspecting it.
"Thor doesn't drool in his sleep, does he?" Saphira asked, "Or like have lice or fleas?"
"Of course not." Enid snapped, "Thor showers regularly and keeps his hair clean; here, use my pillow; I'll use Thor's since you're so paranoid."
"I'm not paranoid; I just don't want to lay my head in Thor's drool," Saphira said.
"Thor doesn't drool, sister," Enid replied; Rogue thought she sounded a little annoyed, she didn't blame her; Saphira could be ridiculous sometimes.
The following day they got up late, took turns showering, and getting dressed, had a late breakfast, then left Fenrir in the care of Mystique and Frigga as Saphira, Rogue, and Enid met up with Sif in the village to get fitted for their dresses, Rogue unknown to her until now had been volunteered by Saphira to stand by Enid, who needed an extra person to match Thor's side, Rogue didn't mind, she considered Enid, a friend, and she and Thor were starting to feel like extended family members, the ones you only see on special occasions or holidays.
The dresses Enid had picked out were beautiful; Rogue wasn't arrogant or anything, but she had to admit the others were right when they told her; she looked stunning in it, the dress was a grey color, spaghetti straps, low cut, with kind of a V shape with a slit up the front. A mesh-like material over the skirt with gold flower designs, it also had a matching cap. Lady Sif's dress matched it, but Saphira's looked different; it was more of a silver-grey, with gold straps, gold around the middle, and slightly bigger gold flowers, on the skirt, it too had a matching cape. They spent a couple of hours there, then headed back to the palace. Where they helped Frigga decorate for the wedding; the palace was so big, even with servants helping, it would take a few days to get done; their job was getting the throne room ready; it was where Thor and Enid were going to say their vows. There was a playpen sitting in the middle of the room with Fenrir sitting in it playing; they were all keeping an eye on him.
Rogue heard laughter and looked over to see Frigga with her hand on her chest laughing at something Mystique was saying; she watched as Frigga turned to walk over to the other side of the room; Mystique followed with her hand on the small of Frigga's back; after the throne room, they moved on to another room to get ready, when evening came, and Rogue and Saphira wanted to catch an early dinner again Enid joined them not wanting to go to another celebration, Frigga promise to come up with an excuse for her. Mystique decided to go to the party with Frigga.
Enid, Saphira, and Rogue had fun laughing and joking, mostly over something silly Fenrir would do. During their chat, Remy's phone rang; the ice on Saphira's had melted, but now she was waiting for it to dry out; the phone call had not been good news; the guys got attacked by something called Draugar; everyone was okay, but now they were cutting their camping short and would be heading back to the palace sometime after sunrise, but because they no longer had horses, it would take them a day or two to get there. After Saphira got done talking to Loki, she allowed Rogue to speak to Remy so that she could hear his voice and know he was okay.
When Rogue woke the next day, the first thing she noticed was that everyone was already up; Enid was dressed and putting her hair up, Fenrir was also already dressed, wearing a cute little outfit that had wolves on it, he was lying on Loki's mattresses making noises and playing with his feet; Saphira was taking a shower, and Mystique had either already left the room or never arrived last night because she was not in the room. Rogue sat up the same time Saphira walked out of the bathroom; she was wearing a short dark blue skirt with tiny gold stars on it, with a matching top.
"Like my new outfit, I bought it on Xander a few months ago," Saphira asked.
"It's cute," Enid replied. Saphira smiled as Rogue got up to shower and dress; when she walked back into the room, Rogue tossed the clothes she took off on the floor, next to Mystique's bed, grabbed her shoes and dagger, but the latter in her pocket, and sat on Thor's bed to put on her shoes; soon, they all headed down to get breakfast, Frigga was already there, drinking tea, and to Rogue's surprise, Mystique was with her sitting next to Frigga in the same clothes she had on yesterday.
Frigga greeted them with a smile as they sat in front of her, then turned to Saphira, "I was wondering if you could help me with something if you do not mind."
"What do you need?" Saphira asked.
"Raven and I took a walk together last night, and I noticed something didn't look right with the Yggdrasil tree; it looked as if the leaves were dying; that's never happened before." Frigga explained, "So, this morning when Raven and I got up, we took another walk; I wanted to take a look at it in the daytime, I believe; it may be sick. I wondered with your abilities if you might take a look and might be able to help it."
"Sure, I'll take a look at it," Saphira said.
After breakfast, Rogue found herself at the base of a giant tree, holding Fenrir on her hip, standing next to Mystique, watching as Saphira walked around the tree, feeling it with a look of concentration on her face. On their walk here, Enid explained to Rogue what the tree was and how if it died; it would mean the end of Asgard, as their tree wasn't exactly a tree, but a branch from a giant tree that was out in space, every nine realms had its extension of the Yggdrasil tree that feed into it, giving it life, and holding the nine realms together, yeah, it confused Rogue too. But Frigga had been right; the tree did not look good; its leaves were all turning brown and falling as if it was Autumn instead of Spring.
"Sister, come here a moment, please," Saphira called out; Enid walked over, and Saphira had Enid touch the tree; she closed her eyes and mumbled something, then opened them.
"I feel two life forces." Enid said, "There should only be one, that means."
"There is something in her," Saphira said, "It's feeding on her life force."
"To make it's self stronger, yes," Enid replied, nodding, "It may not stop at our branch either; the whole nine realms may be at risk."
"Maybe I should send for Odin?" Frigga suggested; Saphira shook her head.
"Enid and I should be able to handle it. "she said, "I'll heal the tree, and Enid should be able to force whatever or whoever it is out and take care of her or it, or whatever."
"Yeah, it shouldn't be too hard," Enid replied, rolling up her sleeves, "It's not too strong at the moment, just started feeding on tree's energy, is my guess."
"Do be careful," Frigga said.
Saphira sat on her knees in front of the tree and laid her hands over the roots, and after a while, the leaves started changing back to green, and more grew in place of the lost ones. At the same time, Enid had her hands on the tree; after a moment, Saphira got up and stood back; Enid seemed to be having a lot of trouble, but then, the ground started to shake, and Rouge backed up, holding Fenrir close, then suddenly there was a blast of light. Everyone got thrown back; Rogue was somehow able to keep Fenrir in her arms and make sure she landed on her back, Fenrir didn't get hurt, but he was crying from fright.
"Sister," Saphira cried out; Rogue sat up and watched as Saphira and Frigga kneeled next to Enid, who was rolling around on the ground holding her head yelling things, like go away, leave me alone, then answered herself in a voice that didn't sound like hers, saying stuff like give in, and letting her take control; Enid stopped yelling and was lying still before slowly standing and turning around to face them.
"Enid," Frigga said. Enid didn't look like herself, her face looked strange, her eyes turned from their usual blue to black, she looked like Enid, but she didn't look like Enid. It was weird as she looked up at Saphira.
"I am once again, Morwen, the first sorceress of chaos," Enid said, "Dark have been my dreams, but now I am finally awakened in this body."
"What?" Saphira demanded, frowning; Rogue put Fenrir's head on her shoulders and held him closer as she backed up; something wasn't right, and she wasn't taking chances with her nephew, Mystique seemed to agree, and stepped in front of Rogue hands on the handles of her daggers.
"She's possessed," Frigga explained.
"Yes, I shall make this place my new home, but first, I shall find the one responsible for my release and show my gratitude." Morwen stepped closer to them, looking right at Saphira. "I wish to thank you."
"Thank me?" Saphira demanded, "You want to show your gratitude; you can do it by getting the hell out of my sister's body."
"I can not do that," Morwen said, "I owe you, you, who gave me my strength back, who fully awaken me, I shall thank you."
"Hey, I only healed my tree; I wasn't aiming to do anything else," Saphira said, "Now get out of my sister before I kick your ass out."
"You do not understand; it would seem," Morwen said, "I was able to absorb some of the power you were feeding into the tree; I was able to come back faster and stronger; I must repay you; you cannot decline."
"What?" Saphira demanded.
"I will give you the world. Such as my ability." Morwen continued, Saphira scowled.
"Look, lady, if I wanted the world, I'd take it myself," Saphira said; she walked closer to her. "Now, get the hell out of my sister."
Morwen must have felt Saphira was a threat because she thrust out her hand and blasted her back; Saphira hit the floor and rolled a few times before coming to a stop, barely moving. Seeing his mom hurt, Fenrir screamed out and started crying and reaching for her; Rogue tried to comfort him even though she wanted to check and make sure Saphira was alright; she knew protecting Fenrir had to come first.
"I will give you one day to decide," Morwen said, walking towards Saphira; she made a face and turned to Rogue, "Shut that brat up, or I will."
Fenrir cried louder, and she lifted her hand and pointed at them; Rogue flew up in the air and turned away, hovering, trying to get out of reach. Mystique took a step forward; daggers raised high, ready to strike.
"No!" Enid cried out, stepping back or trying to anyway; it looked like Enid was attempting to fight the possession but not having luck doing so, she would step back, then step forward, until Saphira had got back up and made vines shoot up out of the ground, and pull her back, she cried out trying to get free.
"Enid, you're in there; I know you are, fight it, kick the bitch out." Saphira cried. "Sister, please, listen, fight her."
Morwen sat a blast at Saphira, who somehow blocked it by blowing it away from her with wind; Morwen tried again, but Saphira stopped that with roots that shot out of the ground.
"Morwen!" Frigga yelled, getting her attention off Saphira onto her. "You remember me, do you not?" Morwen narrowed Enid's eyes at her, then they widened.
"You." Morwen cried out.
"Me," Frigga said, and Morwen started laughing, sounding a bit insane. "How incredible, freedom, a new body, and revenge all in one day."
"I think not," Frigga replied, stepping forward. "I beat you once I'll do it again, now, kindly remove yourself from the woman my son intends to marry." Morwen laughed.
"True, you are the reason I no longer have a body and have been trapped in a tiny dimension prison for the last two thousand years." Morwen replied, giving an evil smile, "But I learned my lesson; you did not beat me because you are stronger than me; you used tricks; you will not fool me now."
"Is that so?" Frigga demanded, still walking forward; Morwen frowned as she watched Frigga come closer, then suddenly, without warning, she blasted magic at her; the magic just went through Frigga, as she shimmered away, in green light.
"What..." Morwen frowned as Frigga appeared behind her.
"I have a lot more tricks than you have seen," Frigga said; "I am the woman who raised the God of mischief; he had to learn them from somewhere."
Morwen turned and went to grab her, but again it was not the real Frigga, for she disappeared in the green light, then suddenly Frigga was everywhere; Morwen turned in circles throwing a magic blast at every Frigga, causing Rogue to retake flight; Saphira dodged out of the way; she felt like a crowd not helping but Fenrir needed someone to protect him.
"Will, you show yourself, crowd." Morwen cried out; she held out her hands, light shimmering from them, as she flew into the air, Rogue flew up higher, and Mystique ran forward, jumped up, and kicked Morwen on the back, knocking her out of the air and onto the ground, where vines wrapped around her. The dozens of Frigga's disappeared as the real one stepped forward.
"Enid, I know you can hear me." Frigga said, "Hold on, we'll get her out of you."
Morwen laughed, got free, stood, and sent a blast at Frigga, who dodged it, then sent her magic back at Morwen; next couple of minutes back and forth they went, the only difference, Morwen seemed to be trying to kill Frigga, who seemed only to be trying to stop Morwen, not hurt her or more likely not hurt Enid's body.
Soon Saphira joined in, having vines grabbing at Enid's arms or legs whenever Morwen tried to take flight; she'd use gravity to pull her back down; at one time, she had the vegetation around them joining in.
"Sister, you fought the Mind Stone; you can resist her," Saphira said; Morwen was once again fighting against vines as Saphira slowly walked towards her.
"Saphira." Enid's voice called, "Please, stay back, I don't want..." She screamed out, "Get out of my head." Morwen once again got control over Enid's body and glared at Saphira as she started saying a spell and pulling her arm free.
"Saphira, get back." Frigga cried out, which caused Morwen to turn instead and sent the blacklight towards Frigga.
"No!" Mystique yelled; shoving Frigga out of the way, and the black spell, whatever it was, hit Mystique square in the chest; her eyes widened a moment, pain flashed across her face, then she crumpled to the floor, unmoving.
"Mom," Rogue cried out; as Frigga and Saphira checked on her, Rogue took a step, then stopped. She couldn't risk Fenrir no matter how much she wanted to go to her mom.
"Raven," Frigga said, shaking her; then she glared up at Morwen. "I have had enough of you. I'm ending this now." She turned to Rogue. "Rogue, sweetheart, come here, please."
"But," Rogue hesitated.
"Fenrir will not be hurt," Frigga said, Rogue believed her, and she stepped towards her as Morwen laughed, still trying to get out of the vines.
"Up to more of your tricks." Morwen laughed, "Go ahead, I will not fall for it."
"Your mother told me about your ability," Frigga said to her quietly. "I also know you do not like doing it, but it may be the only way we can stop Morwen and save Enid; if you can, or willing, think you can drain Morwen's powers so we can talk to Enid, without Morwen throwing magic at us?"
"I...what if I hurt Enid?" Rogue asked; she didn't like this idea; she hasn't used her powers since Rogue tried to use them on Loki during the battle of New York, and for some reason, they hadn't worked on him; before that, Rogue hadn't used them since she learned to control them.
"It's okay, Rue," Saphira said, reaching out and taking her hand. "I trust you."
Rogue swallowed, her throat suddenly feeling dry; she glanced at Enid/Morwen, who was pulling free of her binds; sat Fenrir next to Frigga and stood; just as Morwen got free and came at them, Rogue flew up in the air, flew over her, then landed behind Enid, and before she could do anything she grabbed Enid face with her hands, Morwen or maybe it was Enid, screamed out, and dropped to her knees. Rogue let go of her as she fell forward on her hands.
"Sister!" Saphira ran to her "Fight now; you can do it; kick her ass out of you."
Frigga left Fenrir next to Mystique, put some magical protective barrier around the two, and joined Saphira.
"Rogue, I need you to go stand by Raven and Fenrir, please," Frigga said; Rogue flew over to them, put Fenrir in her lap, and turned in word covering him while covering Mystique's head, as an extra precaution, she kept her head turned just enough so could watch what they were doing, Frigga was saying a spell, while Saphira was talking to Enid, encouraging her to fight Morwen, it seemed to be working, as a portal opened up behind Enid.
"Get out!" Enid cried; Frigga and Saphira backed away as she floated up into the air and screamed; light surrounded her, then suddenly something shot from Enid's body. She fell to the ground; Saphira hit the thing with a gust of wind, knocking it throw the portal Frigga closed it, sealing Morwen into another dimension, hopefully for another three thousand years or more.
Everything went still; Rogue still sat by Mystique holding Fenrir, Mystique still laid on the ground, not moving, Frigga stood there glancing between Enid and Mystique as if she couldn't decide who to check on, Enid was out of it. Saphira had gathered her in her arms; the only sounds were the cries coming from Fenrir and the quiet tears coming from Saphira as she cried over her sister's unconscious body.
AN So, I changed the person who initially defeated Morwen years ago, a different person in the comics, and never said how long ago she was defeated; I thought I'd give Frigga that honor for my story, and I don't think her marriage to Odin was arranged but again fits my story. I hope the fight and all that were good.
The part about Rogue's powers not working on Loki, that's in the comics, her absorbing powers do not work on him.
