AN: Well, this is the final fight; it's not in anyone's POV so that I could write different things happening; I hope it's not confusing and good enjoy.

Chapter 83: The Final Battle

The spaceship that fired at Avengers Headquarters was still in the air as it beamed downlight, and Thanos appeared, all in armor, holding a double-edged sword; under the top layer of rumble inside Headquarters, Enid and Thor dug themselves out and got up, over on the other side of the room, Stark did the same, and after making sure each other wasn't hurt. They headed towards the opening that used to be the door where Sam was standing.

"What's he been doing?" Tony Stark demanded.

"Absolutely nothing," Sam replied.

"Do you think he brought Bucky with him?" Enid asked; she looked behind her at the rumble; she hoped Fenrir was alright under all that and would rather dig him and the others out, but she couldn't until they took care of Thanos.

"Where are the stones?" Stark demanded.

"Somewhere under all this. All I know is he doesn't have them." Sam replied.

"So we keep it that way," Enid said.

"You know it's a trap, right?" Thor demanded.

"Yeah, I don't much care," Stark replied.

"Good. Just as long as we're all in agreement." Enid said, pulling Mjolnir from her belt.

"Let's kill him properly this time," Thor said; he held out his hand, and Stormbreaker came to it. They all headed toward where Thanos was sitting, lightning crackling around both Thor and Enid, and clouds gathered in the sky as the five of them surrounded Thanos.

"You could not live with your failure. Where did that bring you? Back to me." Thanos said, "I thought by eliminating half of life, the other half would thrive. But you have shown me that's impossible. And as long as some remember what was, there will always be those who cannot accept what can be. They will resist."

"Yep, we're all kinds of stubborn," Stark replied.

"I'm thankful. Because now I know what I must do. I will shred this universe down to its last atom. And then, with the stones you've collected for me, create a new one teeming with life that knows not what it has lost but only what it has been given. A grateful universe."

"Born out of blood," Thor said.

"They'll never know it. Because you won't be alive to tell them." Thanos announced, standing up; they all five came at him at once, Enid tossing Mjolnir, but Thanos just knocked it aside; Sam flew around trying to shoot at him with the little missiles from his wings, and Thanos grabbed one and tossed him; he knocked Stark back, and when Thor came at him, with Stormbreaker, he was able to stop it, since Thor's arm was still injured a little, so he wasn't to his full strength yet, but thankfully that didn't prevent his lightning from coming down and hitting Thanos, making him stumble back. Enid tossed Mjolnir at him, Stark recovered and started shooting a laser at him, and Sam got back up and was shooting at him; they were getting the better of him. The moment Thanos was on his knees, the doors to his craft opened up, and dozens of Chitauri and other creatures came running out.

"I got them," Sam yelled, taking off flying towards them, shooting the little missiles from his wings; Enid looked at Thor, they nodded, and she took off to help Sam, striking out with lightning and tossing Mjolnir; she even used her telekinesis to lift rumble and throw at them, as Thor and Stark found themselves the only ones fighting Thanos.

"Alright, Thor, hit me," Stark demanded, opening the back of his suit; Thor set a bolt of lightning at him; it struck Stark, charging his suit up more, and Stark turned around and hit Thanos, but their victory wasn't long, as Cul Obsidian came charging from the side, and knocked Stark aside, the two started fighting, as Thor ran at Thanos with Stormbreaker he raised it to hit him. Still, Thanos caught it and knocked Thor to the ground as he jerked Stormbreaker out of his hands, started beating Thor with the weapon, and knocked him down; Thanos sat his blade aside and lifted Stormbreaker, and tried to stab Thor's chest with it, he held it back, but Thanos was overpowering him, the edge of Stormbreaker was getting closer to going into Thor's chest.

"I think not." A familiar voice said; Thanos and Thor paused and looked to see Loki standing there; he was wearing a black bottom-up shirt and black jeans with holes in the knees and black boots; he wore no armor or protective gear and held no weapons.

"Loki," Thor cried happily. Thanos straightened up, turned to Loki, and laughed.

"You honestly think you can come in here and beat me? " Thanos demanded, "That you can save your brother, save them all, and come out the hero?"

"No," Loki said, walking towards him, "I don't want to be a hero or villain; I want only to be a good father, something you wouldn't know anything about; I came for my son, and knowing what my idiot brother here, and his idiot friends were planning, I knew I'd end up having to fight."

Thanos tossed Stormbreaker at Loki, and it went right through him as he shimmered in green and disappeared.

"Now that was dramatic," Loki said, reappearing to the right of them, "You killed my wife; I killed you once for that, and I look forward to doing it again."

"I wish I could say I'm sorry for my future self's actions, but I'm not," Thanos said., then charged at Loki, who disappeared, reappearing right beside Thor; Loki grabbed Thor's arm and pulled him to his feet. "You can't beat me, even with your brother."

"You think I'm here alone?." Loki taunted; he held out his arms, and the playful look on Loki's face disappeared, and one of anger came over it. "No, I'm not alone; I have help."

A green circle opened up behind Thor and Loki, and out stepped Remy, followed by his thief guild, then Mystique, Frigga, Lady Sif, Magneto, Wolverine, and Quicksilver. The circle closed; as the ship belonging to the Guardians of the Galaxy landed, the ramp opened, and out walked Nebula, Kurt, Rocket, and Mantis.

"I believe this is rightfully yours, brother." Loki said as Gungnir appeared in his hand, and he held it out to him, "Do not ask; take it." Thor did without a weird, and then Loki's scepter appeared in his hand; Loki shouted, and they all charged toward Thanos.

While the battle raged on up top, down buried under the rumble, Fenrir moaned as he tried to move out from under Barton.

"Move, please." Fenrir gasped out, finding it hard to breathe with Barton's weight on top of him; Barton raised off and looked around.

"Sorry about that, kiddo," Barton said, helping Fenrir set up, "Are you hurt anywhere?"

"No, I'm fine," Fenrir replied; he looked at Barton in confusion, "Why are you being nice to me? Didn't my dad have you under mind control at one time?"

"Oh, wow, he did tell you everything," Barton said, "That was a long time ago, Kid; besides, it wouldn't be fair to take out on you what your dad did."

"We need to find a way out of here." Fenrir stood and saw the gauntlet with the stones lying on the ground and picked it up.

"Yeah, you better keep a tight hold on that, Kid; whoever attacked us might be after it," Barton replied.

"I think it was Thanos," Fenrir said, "From the timeline Sam and Bucky went to, he must have used Bucky's GPS to get here."

"Damn, you're probably right," Barton replied, "Come on, we'll go this way." To Barton's surprise, Fenrir slipped his hand into his; no matter how smart he was, Fenrir was still a child and probably scared, so Barton gripped Fenrir's hand back, and they started walking.

"You can call me Fen," Fenrir told him, "You don't have to keep calling me Kid, and sorry I yelled at you when you were arguing with my uncle; I can get protective of my family."

"That's alright, Fen," Barton replied, "We all tend to do that sometimes."

Barton paused as they heard something and looked behind them, but it was dark.

"What is it?" Fenrir demanded; he sounded scared as Barton let go of his hand, pulled out an arrow, and shot it down the tunnel, and it lit up, showing about four creatures heading their way. "Shit"

"Yeah," Barton agreed, and they started running, as fast as they could, or Barton was anyway; Fenrir was purposely not going his full speed, or else he would leave Barton behind. As they ran, Barton pulled out some arrows and fired them behind him at the creatures, and Fenrir tossed magic at them; he then shot a hand up that had a rope attached, took the gauntlet from Fenrir, and had him get on his back, then they climbed up to the floor above, as the creatures jumped at them.

"That was close," Fenrir said as he caught his breath.

"Too close," Barton replied; he was lying down; he dropped the gauntlet, and someone else picked it up.

"Nebula," Fenrir cried; she was a friend of his Uncle Kurt's, so Fenrir knew her.

"Father, I have the stones." Nebula said into an earpiece.

"What?" Baton said he went to rise, but Nebula put her foot on his chest and pointed a gun at him.

"Hey, " Fenrir cried, jumping up, but Nebula pointed the gun at him.

"He's a kid; point it at me." Barton cried. There was another click of a gun, and Bucky was suddenly standing by Nebula, pointing his gun at her.

"Drop both the gun and the glove," Bucky demanded; she refused, and a gunshot sounded as Nebula fell to the ground, dead. "She's not the Nebula, you know, Fen; she's from a different time, totally brainwashed by Thanos and was dangerous."

"Barnes," Barton said, getting to his feet, "Sam said you were left behind on Morag."

"I was; they brought me here with them; I snuck off the ship," Bucky replied. "When Sam and I got to Morag, past Thanos was there, her," He nodded to Nebula, "Computer system somehow connected to ours, and Thanos found out everything, took me so he could use my GPS watch to get here."

"Hey, man, it's not your fault," Barton said, patting Bucky's back, "Come on, let's find a way out." Together the three of them walked on until they came upon Scott Lang and Hank McCoy, who joined them.

While that was happening, Enid was away from everyone else, fighting four to one; using Mjolnir, she tossed it at one, then caught it, and threw it at another, but it got knocked out of her hand, and soon she was overpowered, being knocked to the ground, all four creatures climbed onto of her, then suddenly a colorful bright light shinned and blasted them away; it was the same color light in Enid's dream, she sat up. Her eyes widened when she saw who was standing there glowing; the lights around the figure went out, and she walked forward and knelt next to Enid and put her hand on Enid's shoulder.

"You have been fighting it long enough." She said, "Allow it in, become one with the Pheonix Force, and we'll defeat Thanos and his army together."

Enid stared at her before grabbing her head and screaming as her body burst into flames.

Meanwhile, the battle was in full force; all of Loki's help had spread out fighting the Chitauri, and other creatures, Thor, Loki, and Remy were battling Thanos; Thor shot a blast at him from Gungnir, and Loki was shooting magic at him, and Remy was hitting him with his staff, but Thanos stopped it with his weapon, cutting it in half, then tossed Remy aside, Loki came at him with his scepter, which too got knocked out of his hands, and Thanos grabbed Loki by the neck and tossed him away, Thor was next with having Gungnir knocked out of his hand. Thanos hit him with his double-bladed weapon sending Thor flying back.

"In all my years of conquest, violence, slaughter, it was never personal. But I'll tell you, now what I'm about to do to your stubborn, annoying little planet; I will enjoy it. Very, very much." Thanos laughed as his ship beamed down the rest of the Black Order, along with more of his army.

"Is that all you got?" Thor demanded; he held out his hand, and Stormbreaker came to it. Thanos laughed, and then the rest of his army was beamed down.

"Do you ever learn, Thor?" Steve Roger's voice came over his earpiece. Suddenly, all over, yellow portals opened up and out stepped Stephen Strange, James Rhodes, Bruce Banner, Peter Parker, Drax, Star-Lord, Storm, Wanda Maximoff, Groot the X-MEN, Rogue, and a lot more, all led by Steve Rogers.

"Avengers Assemble," Steve yelled, and they all went running into the fight; Thor and Loki now had help with fighting Thanos, and the others were taking out Thanos's army; Remy ran right to Rogue, and they threw their arms around each other, Mystique and Frigga were double-teaming Cull Obsidian, Magneto was sending the Chitauri ships crashing to the ground, and Bruce Banner turned into the Hulk for the first time in years and started hitting and punching, screaming Hulk smash. Then suddenly, Antman came bursting out of the rumble; he held his hand down, and Hank McCoy, Barton, Bucky, and Fenrir were in his palm; Loki sighed in relief at the sight of his son, looking to be in one piece.

"Sire," Corvus Glaive said, pointing towards them; Fenrir had the gauntlet with the infinity stones in her arms.

"Get it," Thanos ordered; Corvus and a line of creatures started running towards Fenrir.

"Fenrir!" Loki yelled. "Run!"

Fenrir and Barton looked towards the sound of Loki's voice; when they saw the line of creatures heading toward them, Barton pushed Fenrir behind him and got out his bow.

"Go," Bucky demanded, standing next to Barton, and they both started firing at Corvus and the creatures; Fenrir turned and started running as fast as he could, which since he had the speed of a wolf, even when not in wolf form, was pretty quick. Loki appeared among Thanos's army and started taking them out; he kicked, stabbed, sent magic, and broke necks. Loki looked up to see Corvus had thrown his spear at Fenrir. Loki teleported over to him and knocked Fenrir out of the way of the spear; they rolled once, then stopped, with Loki lying on his back, and Fenrir on top of him, his back to Loki's chest.

"Hi, Dad," Fenrir said; Loki laughed as he raised a little and kissed the side of Fenrir's head while hugging him from behind before they stood and watched as Corvus led a group of creatures towards them; Barton and Bucky were still trying to hold them off, but a few slipped through.

"Go, I'll keep them back," Loki told him, and Fenrir took off running; Loki stood his ground when Corvus came up to him and tried to hit him; Loki grabbed his arm, twirled Corvus around, and took his other hand and jerked his head, breaking his neck, then a dagger appeared in his hand, and one by one he took out the other creatures, then turned to make sure Fenrir was still running.

"I need that gauntlet," Thanos called out; more of his army was chasing after Fenrir, with Loki now chasing after them.

"I got you, kid," Peter Park said, swinging in and picking up Fenrir, "We have to get the glove to Antman." Fenrir held on to Park with his free hand as they headed towards where Scott Lang and Hope Van Dant were trying to start up the time machine in his van. Something went through Parker's web, and the two fell; Fenrir dropped the gauntlet, but he picked it back up and took off running again. It was starting to feel like he was never going to reach there.

Chaos was all around; Bucky and Steve finally noticed each other; Bucky gave back his shield, and like all their lives, they were fighting together; Rogue was flying around the sky, knocking any and every spaceship out of the sky, Storm was flying around doing the same with her weather abilities, Dr. Strange was keeping water back from washing everyone awAy, Tony Stark, and Pepper Potts, who was in her suit, were back to back shooting lasers, Remy was tossing cards and blowing things up, Quicksilver was zooming around taking out the enemy, and Wanda and Magneto were fighting, standing next to each other, not having to move much because of their abilities, and Hulk was still smashing things.

Kurt was fighting next to Mantis using his abilities, Star-Lord was shooting his gun, Drax was using his blades, and Nebula used the skills Thanos drilled into her all her life. Over a few feet away, Mystique got knocked down by Proxima Midnight. She was about to drive her spear through her when Frigga appeared behind her and drove a sword through her, killing her; she pulled the blade out, and Proxima fell over.

"Are you alright, sweetheart?" Frigga asked, reaching down to pull Mystique to her feet.

"I am." Mystique replied, smiling, then grabbed Frigga's sword from her hand, pushed her aside, and drove it through the creature behind her; they looked at each other, smiled, and got back to fighting.

Poor Fenrir was still trying to get to Scott Lang, taking longer than usual to avoid debris lying around, people fighting, and things trying to grab him; he was growing tired and getting a little slower when he slipped and fell; the gauntlet fell from his hands.

"I'll take them," Pietro said; he picked up the gauntlet, but before he could speed away, Thanos appeared out of nowhere and knocked him away; he landed a few feet and didn't move; Thanos bent and picked up the stones.

"No," Fenrir yelled; he jumped up and grabbed the gauntlet, trying to stop Thanos from putting it on; Thanos shook him off, and Fenrir then started kicking his leg, which did nothing to him, so he shot a blast of magic at him, which hit the gauntlet, knocking it out of Thanos's hand.

"You're becoming annoying," Thanos said; he bent, put his finger under Fenrir's chin, and lifted him in the air; he wasn't choking him, but it hurt his chin a bit, and Fenrir stared at Thanos, terrified.

A few feet away, Loki had just killed Ebony Maw and looked around for Fenrir; he turned to his right, and that's when he saw him being held in the air by Thanos.

"FENRIR!" Loki yelled, then teleported over to them; his scepter appeared in his hand, and he shot at Thanos; he dropped Fenrir and stumbled back; Loki sliced Thanos across the face, smacked him on the side, and knocked him in the head. "You keep your hands off, my son!"

Thanos' hand shot out, and he grabbed Loki by the neck and lifted him in the air, squeezing his throat.

"Let him go!" Fenrir cried and started hitting Thanos when he didn't let go of Loki; Fenrir snarled, fangs dropping down from his top teeth, and he bit Thanos's hand and wouldn't let go; he cried out and let go of Loki so that he could shove Fenrir aside, he looked at his hand and watched as it bleed. Fenrir crawled over to Loki, who was coughing; he put his arms around Fenrir and pulled him to him.

"I have had enough of you," Thanos said, picking up the gauntlet and putting it on; light zoomed around his arm; as the stones glowed, he looked at them and grinned before making a fist and pointing it at Loki and Fenrir. Loki turned so he could push Fenrir under him and hold him tightly. Then a blast hit Thanos, making him stumbled back; Loki looked up to see Thor coming to stand in front of him.

"Keep away from my brother," Thor demanded, then Rogue landed next to him, holding up her fist; Remy was next, then Kurt, Mystique, Frigga, Bucky, Steve, Barton, and Mantis, all stood in a line in front of Loki and his son.

"I may not give a shit what happens to Loki, but you're not touching the kid," Barton said. At that moment, Iron Man came flying in, blasting Thanos with his lasers, flying all around him, until Thanos shot him back with the power stone; then, one by one, they each tried to get the gauntlet from him but were all knocked away.

"Enough, accept your fate," Thanos said; he held his hand up, but before he could do anything, thunder roared, and clouds gathered as firey-looking lightning went across the sky.

"What the hell is going on?" Bucky demanded there was what sounded like a bird; as a giant firey Phoenix appeared in the sky, Loki and Fenrir stood; and he held Fenrir to him, and Thor stared up in shock.

"Enid?" Thor demanded, "What...?"

Before they could get over their shock of seeing Enid with the Pheonix Force in her, the ground began to shake, causing everyone to look around. Then suddenly, colorful light burst from it, and a figure rose to the sky and stood there, floating over all of them, looking down; she was wearing a short dress that shimmered and shinned, every color of an infinity stone, her copper-red curls blowing out behind her in the wind, her eyes glowed and changed color, power just came from her in waves.

"Mom?" Fenrir asked; Loki held him tighter, his words caught in his throat as the light around her dimmed a little; it was Saphira; it was his wife, Fenrir's mother; she was somehow back, alive; a million thoughts and questions went through Loki's mind, he was happy, confused, and a little angry.

Colorful light began to glow around Saphira; orange, purple, yellow, red, green, and blue, then she and Enid leaned in and came rushing towards earth, flew around, taking out all of what was left of Thanos's army, using every one of their abilities; Enid also used lightning and Mjolnir, within minutes they had them all taken out and turned their attention to Thanos, Enid stood there and allowed Saphira to go after him, she knocked Thanos down, did a flip, and came back at him; as he stood, surprised and caught off guard, the bird, light, women, whatever the being was, was doing a number on him, her colors seemed to change, depending on what attack she did. Still, those familiar with the infinity stones noticed that each color she glowed was always a color of one of the six stones. Saphira glowed purple and flipped Thanos over her shoulder. Thanos got back to his feet; Saphira wasn't using her full strength; she played with him before taking him out for good, which was a mistake because Thanos hit her with the hand wearing the gauntlet, knocking Saphira.

"Hey!" Loki and Fenrir cried out; Saphira raised her hand.

"I'm fine," Saphira said, standing.

"Enough games," Thanos said; he raised his hand and snapped his figures; nothing happened, and Saphira laughed as she stood.

"They are gone, dumbass," Saphira said, "I sent them all back to their original timeline."

"How?" Thanos demanded.

"I control all stones in this universe, no matter what year they are from," Saphira said, "I have waited eleven years for revenge on you; from the moment you decided to put your hands on my husband, I had to die for six of those years, but it was worth it. I now have the power to defeat you, and you only have yourself to blame."

"How?" Thanos demanded.

"You made a mistake six years ago; you destroyed the infinity stones, you reduced them to atoms, but that did not make them powerless; as their protector, they sought me out and found my body and went in it; I now have the power of every stone inside me." Saphira explained, "now you will pay for everything you did to me, Loki, or anyone else I care about," Saphira said; she held up her hand, her palm glowed, while each of her fingers glowed a color of one of the stones.

"This was all a plan that The Pheonix Force and I came up with nine years ago; I knew I was going to die three years before it happened; I knew it had to happen for a good reason, but I also knew I would be back one day and that I would come back with the power to beat you, say goodbye Thanos, your time in every timeline is now over."

"I am not afraid of you," Thanos said.

"That's another mistake," Saphira replied, "I am the goddess of nature, the creator, do not take that title lightly, for I control all of nature; I decided what life is formed, what plants grow, who lives, and who dies."

Saphira's hand glowed brighter as she snapped her figures; there was a loud thunder-like noise, and her whole body burned as Thanos turned to dust and blew away; everyone was too in shock to cheer or say anything as they all stared at her.

"Saphira?" Loki demanded, staring at his wife as if he couldn't believe his eyes or ears; he was glad she was alive, standing here, but she also admitted she allowed Thanos to kill her; his heart was broken all for she could get revenge?

"Hello, darling," Saphira greeted with a grin; her eyes fell to Fenrir, and they lit up. "Oh my God, Fenny, you're so big." She rushed forward and hugged him, then pulled back, "You have grown so much; I love the hair."

"Was it worth it, mom?" Fenrir demanded, "Was it worth missing me growing up and leaving Dad heartbreaking just for revenge worth it?"

"Fen Fen, sweetie, you misunderstood me; that's not." Saphira tried.

"You're so selfish," Fenrir yelled, cutting her off; he then turned and fled; Saphira stood up and went about to go after him, but Loki, of all people, blocked her way.

"Do not go near him," Loki demanded.

"What?" Saphira demanded, "Loke, Loke."

"Don't... Just don't," Loki said before turning and walking away from her; Saphira felt her heart shatter at that moment; the two most important people in the world to her didn't want her back; Saphira felt her heartbreak a little more as one by one the rest of their family followed after Loki and Fenrir, with barely a glance at her. The ones that weren't her family walked off to rest, then got started on cleaning up after the battle; only two people left standing with Saphira were Enid and Thor, and she fell to her knees and burst into tears.

"They hate me; my husband and son hate me," Saphira said; Enid knelt next to her and put her arm around her.

"They just misunderstood you," Enid said, "Give them time to get over their hurt and shock, then go explain your actual reasoning; you did phase it in a way that made it sound like you did it all for revenge.

"I can't lose them, Sissy, I can't." Saphira cried, gripping onto her sister as she cried, then raised and wiped her eyes and laughed. "I just realized Loki had holes in his jeans."

AN: I thought it would be more realistic if Fenrir and Loki were mad at first; due to shock, hurt, confusion and misunderstanding, there are only 1 or 2 chapters left.
