Bella POV
It's been a couple of weeks since I saw Emmett and I was happy and sad. I was happy because I didn't
have to fight back hope that he was genuinely interested and sad thinking that he gave up on me. I did not have
much time to wonder what was going on with him as my job was finally open in Forks. I could not wait to start there.
The next day and everything was ready to go. I was left to hire people to help run the bakery one of the girls
I hired named was Anna and another one was called Angel she was a very nice girl. I hired one guy Jake just in case
we need help caring thing and he dropped off order that need to be dropped off.
It was a couple of days later when I was getting ready to leave when my father got a phone call and he said
that he wanted to talk to the person about me. Paul wanted to talk to them to and the guy said something to dad and
he said alright then he hung up his cell. Dad turned to me and told me that he will find out what was going on with
Emmett for me if I wanted. Had that been Emmett on the phone? I said it was not a big deal and the guy must have a
girlfriend and he told me no he did not.
Dad frowned and said that the three of us will have a long chat about why I keep on saying that. I asked who
was the three he said you, me and your mother. I said okay then I headed off to work. When I got there a girl named
Alanna was waiting and she wanted to know if we were hiring. I said yes, we are we still needed one more person all
she needs to do was fill out application and have an interview.
She asked when we can get this done, I told her come right in and we will get everything done. After everything was
said and done Jake came in to start work and when he was her it was like a blind man seeing for the first time. All I
could do was laugh and told him her name. He looked like a lost puppy. I told him she was going to be working with
us here in the bakery and then I told him he need to drop off an order to Sams house. I still needed to make it was a
cake and pies and muffins. That Emily ordered for one of the guy's birthday I forgot what one it was he said that he
knew then he said that he would work out front until it was ready. I shook my head as he went right towards Alanna.
