A/N: After seeing the saddest episode ever! I just had to right about it. RIP Marissa and Ryrissa

"Marissa…no…Marissa?

His heart stopped when there was no response

"Marissa?"

The tears were threatening to fall.

"No…."

They fell as he gently caressed her cold, pale cheek…

"Mariss-"

Her eyes remained closed and unmoving, as his cries became louder.

"No…please…"

His tears slowly dropped onto her bloodstained forehead as he hugged her closer, hoping that he could bring her back to him.

"Marissa…I…love you…"

Ryan cried as he sat on the empty asphalt road with the limp body of Marissa Cooper in his arms. She was gone forever. The love of his life. This time he wasn't able to save her.

-----

Ryan woke up to a soft knocking on the poolhouse doors. He had the dream again and was waking up every morning in a cold sweat and tears. Although this dream, or nightmare, was real. Marissa…His Marissa was dead and it was all his fault…..

Seth nervously walked into the dark poolhouse, although it was a bright morning outside. He found his brother still in bed, sweating and panting. It must've happened again.

"Are you ok?" Seth anxiously walked over to the bed.

Ryan had to answer this question for three days now and the answer never changed.

"No. Not really" He sighed sadly and turned his abck to the door and pulled the quilt over. Why can't they just leave me alone? How do they think I feel? I've just lost her…..

Seth had been for the last few days speechless, especially around Ryan. Ryan stayed in bed all day and night, he hadn't eaten or talked to anyone, he was broken.

"Well…if you ever want to talk about….you know-"

Seth was afraid to say her name…

"Seth, don't pretend like she's not gone. Ok?" Ryan snapped back impatiently, making Seth flinch.

"Well anyway…the funeral is on at one and we're leaving in an hour or so….so…"

"I'll be ready…can you just leave now…please…"

"Ok…sure" Seth replied sadly as he darkened the pool house once more.

Ryan knew it was today, the last day he would see her. A silent tear rolled down his cheek as he thought about it. He felt his heart beating in his throat as memories of 3 nights ago replayed…

"Marissa…I…I'm going to go get help…."

"N...no…stay…"

It was all his fault… he had lost control of the car…

"Ryan! …Look out!"

Her spine chilling scream still haunted him…

"Don't…. leave"

"Ok…it's gonna be ok…it's gonna be ok…"

The blood dripping down her neck, her painful moans…

Ryan cried softly as he thought about her beautiful face twisted in pain and he would never forget those last few seconds where she bagan to say something…then she losed her eyes forever.

Ryan weakly stood up from his bed and made his way to the bathroom…where was it? He searched through his cupboards until he found it…his escape.

Holding the bloody razor to his wrist he thought about how he had killed her and knew he deserved this.

DRIP, DROP, DRIP, DROP…

The drops of scarlet blood hit the sink rhythmically as the blade plunged deeper.

I'M SORRY Riss….
