Army of Beasts.
The village that the siblings found was rather peaceful, and it would've been a nice place for them to rest and organize before moving out, except for one thing.
3 Knights were in the village, yelling about intruders from another world that arrived in the nearby forest. The villagers were all instructed to inform of any suspicious activity to ensure the capture of said invaders.
"I knew that fighting was a bad idea, good thing we managed to avoid it" - Caeli whispered as to not be heard by anyone but her siblings.
"Why?" - Enyd asked.
"If we had fought, the Knights would know what we look like, and we wouldn't be able to stay here and rest, we would be forced to escape" - Artus explained to his sister.
"Still, we have to leave fast, we need to find dad and return to mom as soon as possible" - Gladys was the next one to speak.
"We won't stay for long, we just need to get some food and maybe a map on the region, to make our trip easier" -
"Let me get it then, whatever gets us faster to wherever dad is" - Gladys used her invisibility skill to steal food and search for a map.
"That girl..." -
"Calm down Caeli, let her do her thing, we'll wait for her to be done and then leave the town" - Eirian tried to calm down his sister, but it didn't worked as the situation got even worse.
Giant footsteps could be heard heading towards the village, a batallion of Knights was rapidly approaching, led by a figure in silver and amethyst armor riding a giant black hound with ghostly eyes.
"The Army of Beasts..." - a woman from the village said, scared as she saw them coming closer.
"The Army of Beasts? What are those?" - Albion asked.
"They're one of the 4 divisions of her army, led by one of the members of the Round Table. They're the most brutal division, and if they're here, things won't go well" - after hearing that, the siblings felt overwhelmed with fear.
Gladys came running at them - "Hide and Seek, now!" - she yelled at Caeli, and the girl quickly used her magic to cloak them after ensuring no one could see them using such an ability.
The Army of Beasts entered the village, the Knights riding huge ghostly horses just behing the member of the Round Table. It took its helmet off, revealing that a girl was the rider of such a creature. However, after seeing the girl closer, the siblings noticed two scary things. She not only had silver hair with black points like the Knight that they saw back in the forest, they could sense a magic trace out of her, the one of their father.
"Hear my orders, people from this village. I am Violet Le Fay Fujimaru, daughter of our benevolent queen Morgan, member of the Round Table, and leader of the Army of Beasts. You may have heard about the presence of invaders from another world. My brother Ddraig informed me that they left the forest, but he couldn't keep track of them, and so it is my job to correct all of his mistakes yet again" - the girl said as she slowly walked across the village - "Me and my troops will be covering ground from here to Twin Lance Mountains, Redcap's Castle and the mines of the Bluecaps to find this intruders, but we won't be doing it entirely on our own. If any of you sees any suspicious activity, inform either me or one of my Knights immediatly. If anyone is found out keeping important information about the invaders, we will execute the perpetrator, as well as their bloodline. Consider yourself warned" -
The siblings stared down at the woman while she remained unaware of their presence. The fear that they felt when looking at her couldn't be described with simple words, and Caeli was trying her hardest not to lose her focus, because if that happened, their cloaking would vanish.
"Come on, we need to get the hell out of here. I have a map, let's go!" - Gladys said, not wanting to stay there for much longer.
She made a mistake, she talked just a bit too loud, and someone listened.
"Is... Someone hiding in here?" - Violet said. After that, she let her beast free - "Go on Spectre. If there's someone who's hiding, I know you can find them" - it was official, the siblings were in huge trouble.
Still cloaked, Albion had to do some quick thinking and, thanks to his bow Albann, he knew just what to do.
"I practiced this for a while before everything went down, let's see if I can pull it off" - carefully, he aimed an arrow of light towards the sky, and he whispered something - "Blinding Light of the Fairies" -
He fired, the arrow flew to the sky and as it reached a certain point, exploded in a huge flash of light, giving the siblings their opening to escape.
Albion turned back to see the blinded Violet. He saw his chance, and prepared to fire again, but before the arrow hit her, Spectre jumped in front of the woman, blocking the hit.
The light didn't took long to fade away, but by the time it did, the siblings had escaped. Violet looked at the arrow that landed on Spectre, and examined it closely.
"I knew it, they were here. Very well, if they wish to play Cat and Mouse, we'll play alright" - Violet said, crushing the arrow with her hand - "Call the Bloodhounds, let them know that the hunt has started" -
Not so far away from the village, the siblings rested under a tree.
"So... I'm not crazy, we all saw that woman right? Heard what she said?" - Enyd said, trying to convince herself that all of this was a nightmare.
"Violet Le Fay Fujimaru. No doubt now, that woman, this Morgan, she took dad" - Caeli said, trying to keep her cool.
"Caeli, I think you noticed it too, didn't you?" - Artus looked at her. He looked calm, but his siblings could tell he was scared, his hands trembled and his grip on his sword was weak - "She's not like us, she's not... Natural" -
"You're right. She wasn't born like regular children, she's a homunculi" - the eldest of the girls explained.
Eirian wasn't focused on that, he was more interested on the map that Gladys took. He asked to see it.
According to the map, they were in "Outer Camelot". Inner Camelot was beyond Twin Lance Mountains.
"Our only way to dad is through those Mountains" - the boy said while summoning his lance - "But I feel like our way there won't be easy" -
"You're right, it won't. If they're going to start searching for us, I think that the best way out will be fighting our way towards the mountains" - Enyd mentioned while summoning her weapon - "And I, for once, am excited to do that" -
"What do you think Artus? Caeli?" - Albion asked, looking at them.
Artus and Caeli looked at each other. They were determined to save their father, and they knew what they had to do.
"We'll do it if it's necesary. Killing every Knight we find will just let them track us easier, just kill if it's the only way to get away. And, if anyone has a clean kill on Violet..." - Artus' sword ignited in purple flames - "Kill her, no mercy" -
The Fae Round Table summoned their weapons, they were ready to fight.
