In a large room at Kaibacorp several employees were looking over the tournament when suddenly one of them gasped. "Mr. Kaiba something extraordinary just happened!"
Kaiba hearing that looked over to one employee, "What is it?"
"These readings they… something was just summoned with energy levels leagues above Obelisk the Tormentor." the employee answered.
That caught Kaiba's attention who raise up before asking, "Hm? Do you have a video of it?"
"Yes sir, putting it on screen now." the employee nodded as they saw Minako Ritual Summon Orpheus Telos and use it's abilities to defeat Rex Raptor.
"What is that?" Mokuba asked amazed.
Kaiba stared at it before telling the employee, "Are you able to ascertain what kind of monster it is?"
"Not yet, but the energy readings coming from that monster are significantly higher than Obelisk the Tormentor." the employee admitted.
Kaiba stared before then saying, "Well it seems like the Kirijo Group are still up to there old tricks." From the way he said that Mokuba knows he probably knows the monster there seeing.
"Seto?" Mokuba asked.
Kaiba looked towards him, "The Kirijo Group are a interesting bunch. Gozaburo once tried to form a deal with them to use this power for his military advancements. From the great danger these things pose, the Kirijo Group refused, and broke off there business deal together. Now they come here in Duel Monsters, and if the Kirijo Group are here under these kind of circumstances it might be something that was meant for Kaiba Corp, and the Kirijo Group to reform there partnership together. This power they have..."
He looked back at the screen staring at Orpheus Telos. "Is the power of Persona."
Mokuba looked back at the screen hearing that.
'Still, if they're still using that power... does that mean they have those too? The special weapons my stepfather helped create?' Kaiba thought with a frown. "I'm heading out, keep me informed of anything like what just happened." He walked out leaving.
With SEES...
"So far so good." Junpei grinned. "At this rate, maybe we'll actually do pretty well in this competition."
"That's still only our secondary objective." Mitsuru pointed out as she turned to Fuuka. "Can you detect anything Yamagishi?"
Fuuka closed her eyes using her Persona to sense things before she shook her head, "Nothing else yet. I can still sense the three signatures from before but nothing new."
Mitsuru nodded at that only for her eyes to widen. "Who's there?"
Hearing that they all stopped looking over. They noticed a tanned woman wearing Egyptian clothing, and wearing a necklace with the same eye as Yugi's puzzle around his neck walking stepped out of her spot looking at them.
"My name is Ishizu Ishtar, and there is much we need to discuss." the woman stated calmly.
"Sorry but we don't got time for it." Junpei said to her shaking his head, "We're kinda busy right now."
"It is something important that can mean the fate of the world... probably as much as the Fall." the woman, Izhizu, voiced over which shocked SEES that she knows of the Fall.
"How do you know about that?" Mitsuru questioned suspiciously.
Ishizu touches her necklace, "The Millennium Necklace allows me to see into the past, and the future."
"See the past and future?" Yukari questioned. "But that's impossible."
"I could say the same about a hidden 25th hour of the day which nearly led to the end of the world." Ishizu pointed out. "The Millennium Necklace is one of seven items with powerful mystical abilities."
"...Well what do you want to talk to us about?" Akihiko asked Ishizu deciding it be good to talk with her.
"I'm sure your navigator already informed you of three powerful presences she sensed." Ishizu said to them. "I know what they all are."
"We're listening." Mitsuru mentioned hearing that.
"The presences... There ancient deities. Deities that are able to potentially change the world to whoever wields all three all together while baring a Millennium Item: The Egyptian Gods."
The Shadow Operatives and Minako all looked surprised hearing that before Junpei blinked.
"Hold on, how can one person control three gods? Isn't that impossible?" he asked her.
Ishizu holds up the Millennium Necklace, "It may be impossible... Unless you you have one of these. The Millennium Necklace is but one of those items that are needed." She lowered it down before saying, "What I need to talk to you all about is your aid to get them out of the hands of someone that plans to use them for domination, or eternal suffering."
"What can we do to help?" Ken asked.
Ishizu at that explained to them, "Battle City." That confused them wondering that has to do with anything. "I was the one that had requested Seto Kaiba to create this tournament with the ante rule so the Egyptian Gods would end up in safer hands. I also protected one of the Egyptian Gods, and gave it to him to urge him to assist out in this which he agreed to acquire all three of them. But I sensed through fighting a God yourselves you all, SEES the Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad would be greatly beneficial to our cause."
"If the cards are that dangerous why not destroy them?" Yukari inquired.
Ishizu shook her head, "Pegasus attempted in the past... But they cannot be destroyed that way." She then looked over everyone, "But I have to see if any of us are up to the challenge." She activated a Duel Disk at this readying, "If you wish to know more about the Egyptian Gods then you will have to show me your test of resolve."
Unaware to them Yugi who was walking to find a match notices them, and decides to eavesdrop to view this match thinking this match is important.
"Aigis what should we do?" Minako asked the Team's Leader, and Wildcard for her verdict if they'll accept Ishizu's challenge or walk away to take care of things of there own merit.
"Very well Ishizu-san I will accept your challenge." Aigis noted calmly. "Is this a tournament match then?"
Ishizu nodded as Aigis walked forward as Junpei grinned, "Okay Aigis get her!"
Aigis raised her arm activating her Duel Disk readying for her match while Ishizu pulls out her hand to begin.

They nodded turning back to the duel though Fuuka and Ken both looked distracted but for slightly different reasons. Ishizu grabs a second card showing, "Then I summon Qardan the Great Sage."
What rose in front of a her was a Egyptian like priest that has on a golden horus mask with blue jewel eyes having on traditional Egyptian Priest Clothing, and a staff in his hand that has a golden snake slithering around it.

"True, however the card set by the effect of Qardan the Great Sage can be activated the turn I set it with his ability." Ishizu explained.
"It can do that?" Akihiko asked hearing that with slightly widen eyes.
Ishizu with that explanation done starts her attack. "Qardan the Great Sage attack A.I. Maiden Crystal!" Qardan charged an attack from her staff firing a beam from it at Crystal who stand on guard.
"I activate the trap card A.I. Maiden's Protection." Aigis stated as a trap revealed itself.

Qardan looked over before being impaled destroyed while Ishizu watches this. Yugi seeing this couldn't help but ask himself quietly, "What do you think of this Yami?"
A mature transparent version of him no-one can see said in a tough voice, "I don't know Yugi. Like I said before something feels odd about this group of people even the woman dueling Ishizu."
Yugi nodded hearing that still keeping an eye on the duel while Ishizu went to her Main Phase 2 taking a card, "I use Gravekeeper's Trap's other effect." The trap glowed as she explained, "Once a turn, at the Main Phase, I discard 1 card from my hand to add a Gravekeeper's monster or a EARTH Fairy from my Deck to my hand."
Fuuka frowned as the more mature version of Yugi noticed her looking in his direction.
Aigis nodded hearing that. "Alright."
Surprised at this the mature Yugi asked Yugi, "Is she looking at me?" Yugi looked confused before looking over seeing Fuuka looking over at there direction as he asked her, "What?"
"Huh, oh... sorry it's nothing." she said quickly turning back to the duel. 'There's definitely something there, and it's so powerful... but I can't tell what it is.'
Continuing her turn Ishizu sets a card, "I end my turn."

Psyche at that charged in before attacking Ishizu who stepped back from this still looking on guard. (Ishizu: 1300/Hand: 3)
"I end my turn with one additional facedown card." Aigis finished before looking at her monster with a gentle smile.

Ishizu only gestured to Zolga, "When Zolga is summoned from it's ability, I take a look at the top cards of both our decks up to 5." Zolga glowed while Ishizu takes 5 cards from her top looking at them before placing them back, and looked to see Aigis' own top 5.
Aigis nodded showing the cards to Ishizu.
Ishizu viewed them seeing Accepting the Absolute End, Emperor Persona Oberon, A.I. Maiden Jasmine, Chariot Persona Athena, and Self-Body Evoker. She nodded knowing Accepting the Absolute End is the next card Aigis draws while Aigis places the cards back on her Deck before Ishizu added, "Next I summon Mudora."
What rose up between Zolga, and Mudora the Oracle Cestus was a second Mudora that has a long sword ready.

Ishizu gestured to Mudora, "Mudora gains 200 attack points for every Fairy in my graveyard."
Mudora glowed as the graveyard gave him strength.

"Wait, how did it get so strong?" Junpei questioned.
"There's the one that she discarded earlier." Minako tries to remember all the time, "And the one Aigis-san destroyed from her trap card. But when did 3 more get into the graveyard?"
Koromaru realized something, and barked it aloud for them which Aigis widen her eyes translating, "Card Destruction! She had 3 in her hand, and Card Destruction made her discard them!"
"This is really bad." Yukari frowned hearing that. "Aigis needs to do something fast."
The mature Yugi meanwhile blinked, "She understood what that dog was saying?" Yugi also blinked but shrugged deciding to ask later as they watched while Ishizu called, "Mudora attack Hierophant Persona Psyche!"
Mudora charged in attacking Metis' Persona.
The attack hit destroy Psyche as Aigis grunted in pain.

"When Psyche is destroyed her ability summons a Persona monster from my hand or deck." Aigis explained only for nothing to happen.
"Huh what happened?" Junpei asked seeing this.
"Don't you remember?" They looked at Ishizu who gestured at Gravekeeper's Trap, "While Exchange of the Spirit is in the graveyard, Gravekeeper's Trap forbids you from using effects, or summon monsters in the graveyard."
"Wait, so Aigis can't summon anything to protect herself?" Minako asked in surprise.
"Mudora the Oracle Cestus attack Aigis directly!"
The second Mudora charged in with it's bladed weapons ready against Aigis. Aigis braced herself as the blades hit her arms.

Zolga charged a large brown orb blast in it's hand before throwing it at Aigis. She braced herself as she was hit by the blast.

Yukari at that called, "Hey hey wait a minute!" They looked to her as she asked suspiciously. "If your able to do that why didn't you use your Necklace on it?"
They looked at Ishizu who stared before answering, "That'd be cheating."
"True, however even if you had I believe our game is over Ishizu-san." Aigis mentioned calmly.
"Well now the card is Accepting the Absolute End." Ishizu gave her trap's effect's name.
Aigis looked at the card before nodding and placing it in her graveyard. "Ishizu-san, I do not currently possess any monster cards."
Ishizu blinked wondering why Aigis tells her that.
"However, I do possess the spell card Humanity Restored." Aigis stated showing an image of Aigis under a spotlight as Metis was watching with a smile.

"I activate the spell Weakness Hit." Aigis continued. "This lets Athena attack again, and I attack Mudora the Oracle Cestus."

"Whoa she's pretty good." Yugi admitted seeing Aigis' victory.
"Alright, now that the match is over, I think you should tell us just what these Egyptian Gods really are." Mitsuru stated getting straight to business.
Yugi blinked hearing that while Ishizu stood up before saying, "There like I said. Deities that are to shape the world. Basically they are believed to represent the polarities of the universe."
"Polarities?" Yukari asked hearing that.
"Their not as powerful as Nyx is but they are still not to underestimate. Pegasus created them privately when he sees that anyone who tries to create them without a Millennium Item is injured but when their finished he had a nightmare about them which he believed he had angered the Egyptian Gods deciding there too dangerous to be mass produced, and had me bury them near the Pharaoh's tomb." Ishizu explained what she knows to them. "When someone wields all three they are given the Title of King of Games, but under the wrong hands they can be used to cause serious injuries or even worse death."
"I see, and if they're all here that would explain the onus..." Mitsuru started only for them to suddenly hear a whistle.
Hearing that they looked over seeing Mokuba was there blowing a whistle.
"I think you two are forgetting something, Aigis was the winner of the match which means you owe her a locator card and the rarest card in your deck." Mokuba reminded all of them.
"Hey kid we're talking about something important here." Junpei said to him a little annoyed Mokuba had to use a whistle.
Ishizu however nodded handing over her Locator Card, and a card to Aigis to which she takes before handing back the rarest card Ishizu given her to her stating, "There is nothing in the rules that states, I can't give the card back to you."
Ishizu blinked before taking it back. With that done Yukari turned to Mokuba, "Hey you don't need to blow that whistle you know."
Ken however knowing who he is quickly tried to say, "Uh, Yukari you might need to let that go."
"No, it's alright. Honestly it's more for people who break the rules but I needed some way to get your attention." Mokuba explained.
They looked back before nodding hearing that before Junpei asked him curiously, "And you are...?"
"Mokuba Kaiba, the official commissioner for the Battle City Tournament! I will settle any, and all dispute, and when it comes to the rules what I say goes!" Mokuba introduced in a little dramatic presentation wiping his nose with his thumb, and a wink with a grin.
"Commissioner?" Akihiko asked hearing that finding it hard to believe but everyone else heard 'Kaiba' which means Mokuba is probably a relative of Seto Kaiba.
"I see, we apologize for the delay." Mitsuru stated calmly before turning to Ishizu. "Now then, you were saying?"
They looked back to Ishizu who then continued, "Well I said before the Egyptian Gods were buried near the Pharaoh's Tomb but recently all three of them had been unearthed for someone to rule the world with them. I managed to take one of the Egyptian Gods from him, and brought it here in Domino City where I explained to Kaiba about it, and trusted him with that card for him to use Battle City to make sure all three of them don't get used by this person."
She then revealed to them. "He is here with his minions, and is using the other two Egyptian Gods in this tournament to gather them once more."
"Then we need to find Kaiba, and stop whoever has the other two Egyptian God Cards." Yugi mentioned quickly.
"No offense, but you're in way over your head here." Junpei told him. "Leave it to us ok?"
Mokuba gave him a stare that intimidated Junpei a little almost like Yukari before turning to Mitsuru, "Well I'm actually here for something else other then the rules. It's for her."
"Mitsuru-sempai?" Fuuka asked hearing that.
Mokuba walked over to her saying, "Seto sent me here for a message to give to you. You are Mitsuru Kirijo, the current Head of the Kirijo Group taking over after Takeharu Kirijo's passing right?"
Mitsuru frowned slightly. "Yes, that's why he allowed us to compete."
Mokuba shook his head, "It's not because you all are big shots. He believed you have one of the Egyptian Gods but from what we seen in your friend's earlier duel with Rex Raptor that's not the case as it's power exceeds the levels from Obelisk the Tormentor, the Egyptian God, Ishizu gave Seto."
"Huh, oh you mean Orpheus Telos?" Minako asked hearing that.
Mokuba nodded, "And in that case Seto has said the Kirijo Group is still doing what they do with the power of Persona."
"Wait, he knows about that?" Junpei asked in shock as Mitsuru frowned.
"I should speak with him myself, do you know where he is now?" she asked calmly.
"He is waiting at the Kaiba Corp tower. He said don't keep him waiting." Mokuba said to her, "I'll take you over to him right now."
Mitsuru nodded. "While I'm gone Aigis is in charge."
"Understood." Aigis nodded calmly.
With that Mitsuru, and Mokuba walked off before Ishizu then said to them, "Well you all despite your power, you still need one more ally to handle the Egyptian God Cards."
"Huh, who?" Ken asked in confusion.
"Him." Ishizu looked over to Yugi at this. "His Millennium Puzzle holds the soul of the Pharaoh in the past that summoned the Egyptian Gods, and the same Pharaoh who's tomb was the resting place of them."
"Oh you talking about Yami?" Yugi asked hearing that which Ishizu nodded to confirm.
"Ok hold on, an ancient Pharaoh sealed in a puzzle? Can someone slow down and explain this to me because right now nothing is making sense." Junpei frowned.
"It makes some sense, but I do have a lot more questions." Yukari admitted.
"Then, I guess it would have to start with when I was given the Millennium Puzzle by my grandpa." Yugi mentioned.
Ulrich362: Well, Aigis won her duel but there's a lot that's only starting to be explained.
bopdog111: Now Kaiba, and Mitsuru will talk about reforming the business contract that the Kirijo Group broke apart from Kaiba Corp hopefully while Yugi explains to SEES about Yami, and the Puzzle.
