I do not own Glee or any of the characters created by Ryan Murphy. If I did we would see way more of Shelby. This story will contain spanking of a teenager. If that's not your thing stop reading now and go read something else.

Chapter 24
"Oh for the love of Barbra!" Rachel's screams caused Shelby to start awake the sheet falling away from her nude body. "My eyes! A sharp stick, mind bleach, somebody kill me now!" Rachel hollered.
"Ethel Jr, do you mind keeping it down?" Sue pulled Shelby back into her embrace and covered them again with the sheet. "I have a marching band in my head right about now and I am nowhere near ready to get up."
"Mama!"
"Rachel, what… oh my God!" Lucy took in the scene before her and began to laugh. "You were so right, Rachel. Naked in bed together. So Shelbs do you remember what happened this time?"
"Yes," Shelby finally spoke. "Would the two of you kindly leave my room? Billie Jean and I will be down when we're ready."
Seeing the look on her sister's face, Lucy wisely grabbed Rachel by the arm and pulled the now gasping girl from the room. "Breathe Rachel, breathe."
"They, they, they actually….didn't they?" Rachel managed to get out.
"I think they did," Lucy shrugged. "Not that it's any of our business if they did. Come on, kid. Let's get dressed and I'll take you out for breakfast."
"Do you know anyplace that sells sharps sticks and mind bleach?" Rachel asked.
"I might." Lucy smirked at her niece and shrugged again. "Hurry up, Rach. The faster we get ready the faster we can get out of the house."

"Sounds like your sister and kid have finally left," Sue stated. "You can now uncover your head and show your face again."
Watching as Shelby did just that, Sue's face softened and she pulled Shelby to her. "I'm sure it was a shock for Rachel to walk in on us like that, but it's not going to kill her."
"Are you sure?" Shelby asked quietly.
"Positive," Sue took a deep breath. "Listen to me, Shelby," she finally spoke again. "I don't know about you, but this is more than just a one night fun romp in the hay. Babs Jr. is going to have to get used to us eventually."
"I'm thinking it might be easier for her if we weren't naked in my bed," Shelby offered closing her eyes as Sue kissed her gently.
"I agree," Sue wrapped her arms around Shelby and gently rubbed her back. "I know that we need to talk about everything, but how about we wake up slowly instead? After that we shower, get dressed, and go have our first of many cups of coffee."
"I think I'd like that, Sue," Shelby agreed. "And I'll make you my world famous pancakes."
"World famous, Ethel?"
"World famous," Shelby confirmed snuggling into Sue once more and deciding to just enjoy the moment no matter how strange.

"I do not want to go in there," Rachel looked up at her aunt. "I mean I saw them naked, in bed, and they'd obviously had sex this time."
"Are you sure about that?" Lucy asked her hand on the doorknob.
"They were snuggling, Aunt Lucy. Snuggling! And if that wasn't enough to put me in therapy for years…."
"Alright my little diva," Lucy chuckled. "Let's go and see what my sister has to say for herself."
"Hopefully that it was a mistake and she'll never do it again," Rachel quipped before the door opened. Groaning, she shook her head.
"I don't think that's going to happen, Rachel," Lucy commented noticed Sue nursing a cup of coffee sitting in the armchair by the couch.
Putting her cup on the coffee table Sue stood and extended her hand, "Sue Sylvester, award winning cheerleading coach," she stated. "You must be the little sister, Lucy."
"I am." Lucy shook Sue's hand and then sat on the couch with Rachel as Sue resumed her seat. "Where's Shelbs?"
"Putting a load of laundry in the machine. I offered to help, but she declined the offer," Sue's clipped response made Rachel moved towards the steps. "Hold it right there, Ethel Jr," Sue commanded. "Have a seat while we wait for your mother. We need to have a heart to heart and Sue Sylvester does not do those lightly. I therefore need you present and accounted for when Ethel Sr. returns from putting the laundry in the machine."
Reluctantly sitting on the couch next to her aunt, Rachel was quiet.
"So um, Sue, should we take this time to get to know one another?" Lucy asked.
"Good idea," Sue put her coffee cup down again. "Shelby hasn't told me much about you just that you were visiting."
"You called Mama by her name," Rachel interrupted. "I've never heard you call her by her name."
"Of course I called her by her name, Rachel. Like I told your mother last night wasn't just a fun romp in the sack for yours truly, but we'll get to the bigger discussion when your Mama can join us."
Hearing a small squeak from Rachel Lucy looked down at the girl, "Rach are you okay?"
"I honestly have no idea," Rachel replied. "My mother is doing God knows what with Sue Sylvester, the sworn nemesis of my glee club. On top of that Coach has now said my name and Mama's name. I may not be okay for a long while."
"Rachel, what are you talking about?" Lucy asked as Shelby stepped into the room.
"Shelby, what is Rachel talking about?"
"I don't know, Lucy. I just got here." Sitting on the couch next to Rachel Shelby pulled the girl into her arms. "How are you doing, baby girl?"
"I'm not sure," Rachel replied honestly.
Kissing Rachel on the temple, Shelby held her tightly and nodded, "I can understand that, but we need to talk."
"About what?"
"About what you saw today and about Sue and me," Shelby answered.
"There's a Sue and you?" Rachel asked.
"There is," Sue interjected. "Or at the least the potential for an us."
"Mama?" Rachel looked up into her mother's eyes and held the woman's gaze.
"Sue and I had a long talk over breakfast, Rachel. We agreed that we wanted to give this, whatever this is, a try."
"But you were drunk last night, weren't you?" Rachel demanded.
"Not as drunk as you seem to think, young lady. We knew what we were doing, Rachel. And the fact that we both remember last night," Shelby took a deep breath. "Billie Jean and I are going to see more of each other, Rachel."
"And don't forget that it could be worse, Babs," Sue spoke up once more.
"How could it be worse?" Rachel whined.
"Your mother could be wanting to date brill-o head," Sue finally supplied.
Rachel was quiet as she looked back and forth between her mother and the cheerleading coach, "Okay, I'll give you that one, Coach. That would be infinitely worse. Just remember that I do not want to see, hear, or experience anything that may cause me the need to move my therapist into the house on a permanent basis."
"Noted," Shelby hugged her daughter tightly. "How about you and I spend some us time later today?"
"Just us?" Rachel whispered.
"Just us," Shelby confirmed.
"Sounds good, I think I'll have lots of questions by that time." Rachel then stood and looked around the room. "Now, if you all will excuse me, I am going to go spend some quiet time in my room staring at my walls. I think it will be best for all involved if I have some time to meditate on things before hearing anymore."
Watching as Rachel left the room Lucy then turned to her sister before looking once more at the tall blonde studying her. "Oh good grief, she even got the diva gene!" Lucy hooted. "I want all the details, ladies. Leave nothing out."

Rachel laid on her bed holding her stuffed lamb. She was staring at her ceiling fan going in circles while trying very hard not to think of the fact that her mother and Sue Sylvester were going to try and date. The idea of her mother dating anyone was a bit strange to Rachel, but to date Sue of all people raised strange to downright bizarre. Rachel knew they got along and has some sort of weird friendship going. She just wished it hadn't evolved into what she'd seen that morning.
Sighing heavily Rachel wondered if it was worth the risk to try and find her confiscated cell phone. Surely calling her therapist wouldn't be seen as breaking her grounding. Looking at her lamb Rachel huffed, "Who am I kidding? In the Shelby Corcoran world of grounding anything short of dying will be considered breaking my grounding."
"Surely you aren't thinking about test me again?" Shelby spoke quietly from Rachel's doorway.
"I was just wondering if calling my therapist would be considered breaking my grounding," Rachel replied with a smirk.
"Without permission, yup." Shelby laid down on Rachel's bed and pulled the girl into a hug. "Billie Jean headed home, Lucy decided that she needed go shopping in order to make us a wonderful meal tomorrow, and I decided that now is the perfect time to spend with my wonderful daughter."
"Doing what?" Rachel asked quietly.
"What would you like to do?" Shelby kissed the top of Rachel's head and began to run her fingers through Rachel's long hair.
"Could we just stay home, order some food in, and watch a movie?" Rachel asked quietly.
"I think that can be arranged."
"Even though I'm grounded?"
"Especially because you're grounded," Shelby teased. "Funny Girl?"
"Of course," Rachel agreed. "Mama?"
"Hmm?"
"Why Coach Sylvester?"
"I honestly don't know, Rachel. I know it's strange. Hell it even freaks me out a bit, but there's just something there. I don't think I can explain it."
"Mama?"
"Yes Rachel?"
"Can we have popcorn with our movie, and ice cream sundae's after our food?" Rachel asked slowly sitting up and grinning at her mother.
"Only if we get to have a ton of chocolate syrup, and whipped cream on the sundaes," Shelby replied.
"Deal." Rachel hugged her mother before sliding off the bed and pulling her mother with her by the hand.
