I do not own Glee or any of the characters created by Ryan Murphy. If I did, we would see way more of Shelby. This story will contain spanking of a teenager. If that's not your thing stop reading now and go read something else.

Chapter 40
"Oh shit." Sue Sylvester watched as the mini version of her girlfriend marched down the hallway towards her office. Apparently, the girl had found out what she and Shelby had done to her phone. Never one to back down from a good fight, Sue braced herself just as the door to her office flew open.
"Coach!" Rachel Berry's voice took over the entire space in its veracity. "What in the hell did you do make sure that I can't make or receive any international calls on my phone? You do know that means that I can't get a phone call about Hiram or LeRoy, right?"
"I am aware, Rachel. Please sit down and let me explain."
The use of her real name is the only thing that caused Rachel to stop and do what the cheerleading coach had asked of her. "Okay, I'm waiting." The brunette had crossed her arms in front of her and her brown eyes were glaring, but she was, for all intent purposes, listening.
Moving to sit behind her desk, Sue sat down in her chair and moved up, putting her arms on the desk and leaning forward, "Look, Yentel, I did it because your mother asked me to use my connections to shut down any and all calls from Hiram and LeRoy."
"And you just did it?"
"She has her reasons, which I suggest you take up with her." Sue put her hand up to stop any more questions from Rachel. "I am not going to answer for her, let's just say that I agreed with her reasoning and found nothing wrong with turning off calls to and from those bastards. However, your phone couldn't just be turned off for one country, all international calls were stopped due to some new national security mumbo jumbo." Sue sighed heavily and leaned back in her chair. "Your phone will be returned to normal when your mother tells me to return it to normal and not before."
"Great, just great." Rachel shoved her phone into the front pocket of her jeans and grabbed her book bag. "Just what I need, Sue Sylvester, lackey of Shelby Corcoran." Storming from the office Rachel made sure to slam the door and ignore the look that Sue was giving her.
"Oh, just you wait, Rachel." Sue said to herself. "You and I do live at the same address and I am no one's lackey."

"Rachel, I am not sure of this." Santana's voice was quiet and shaky.
"Come on Santana," the shorter girl encouraged. "You have to help me get my phone fixed. I have to be able to know what is going on with Hiram and LeRoy. I mean what if LeRoy dies and nobody tells me?"
"There is no way they won't tell you, Rachel." Santana protested. "Besides if we get caught not only are we dealing with Coach, we're dealing with your mom."
"So, the great Santana Lopez is scared?" Rachel asked. "What about Snixx?"
"You know Snixx is scared of nothing."
"Then channel her ass, Santana and help me."
"Fine, but if we get caught your ass is so going down with mine and Snixx's."
"That's fine." Rachel huffed. "Just do it." She ordered once more looking nervously up and down the hallway as Santana picked the lock to the cheerleading coach's office. Starting to step inside, Rachel was stopped by Santana.
"Are you crazy, Corcoran? You know Coach has more security than the White House." Standing, Santana touched the small bobblehead of Miss Hannigan on the coach's desk and suddenly there were lines of light shining throughout the room. Touching the bobblehead of Annie, also on the desk, the lines disappeared and Santana welcomed Rachel into the room. "Security disarmed. Now, we get the code and head to Schuester's office to get your phone fixed."

"Shit, shit, shit, shit," Santana's eyes widened as she saw Shelby in the front office of her school looking none too happy. Staring, she saw that Shelby had been followed into the office by two men that looked as if they were starring in a Men in Black reunion movie. "Aw shit," Santana muttered again. Not waiting to see what would happen she turned and headed toward the glee room knowing that she would find Rachel there or somewhere close to there.
Finally seeing the petite brunette Santana stopped and grabbed Rachel's wrist, "We need to hide, Hobbit."
Looking rather bored Rachel gave Santana a confused looked. "Why would we need to hide?"
"I saw your mom enter the office looking as if she wanted to kill someone. Her heels had the clack of death about them, and there were two weirdos in black suits following her. It does not look good for our asses."
"She could be here for another reason, Santana." Rachel tried.
"Such as?"
"Such as…" Rachel was cut off as her phone began to play a lively tune, "I'm not dead yet…"
"Monty Python?" Santana question.
"Shit!" Rachel grabbed the brunette's wrist and began to run with her towards the glee room. "Coach is on the way."
"How do you know?" Santana stopped them from running and stared at Rachel.
"I had Jacob Ben Israel install this app on my phone. Every time the Coach heads towards me it plays that bit from Monty Python's musical. If Mom is also in the area, then…" Rachel was once more cut off when "Oh now he's dead…" came from her phone.
The clack of heels could also be heard and the girls looked at one another in terror. "I want to know how you got him to do that, how it works, and how I can have it done to my phone, but right now, I think we need to run."
"I agree." Rachel and Santana took off down the hallway making it to the choir room in record time. Running into the room they shut the door with a bit too much force making all eyes in the room turn to them. Looking around wildly they relaxed once they noticed that Mr. Schue was in his office on the phone.
"What's going on?" Kurt asked. "You look as if you've seen a ghost."
"Worse," Santana stated. "Shelby and Coach are on their way to us and they are not happy."
"How unhappy are they?" Puck asked.
"Let's just say my mother's heels sound as if they could cause someone to cower all by themselves.
"Damn! What did you two do this time?" Mercedes asked."
"You don't want to know." Looking at her phone Rachel pressed an icon and ran to the piano. "According to the map they will be here in about two minutes. We need to be singing something or arguing about what to sing or pretending to be picking some music out. I don't really care, but whatever it is we need to do it now."
"This," Puck shoved some sheet music around the piano. We might get points for this." Opening it up for the pianist he laughed when Brittany sat next to the man.
"I'll turn the pages for you." She explained with a smile. "I haven't done it for a while and Lord Tubbington told me this morning that it was time I start to do it again."
The man smiled and nodded at her explanation, "Thanks." He began to play the door flew open just as the student's voices reached the lyrics 'no day but today, there's only us…'
"Freeze!" Shelby's voice was like steel and all eyes turned to her.
"Really, Mom?" Rachel tried to put on her show face and the best false bravado she could. "Why would you interrupt our practice? You know how important this is to our next competition."
"Excuse me," the men in the black suits had entered behind Sue and Shelby and were trying to make there way into the room.
"Aren't you a little late for Halloween?" Sue asked.
"Halloween?" The taller of the men asked.
"I think she's talking about the 'Men in Black' thing you have going on," Finn volunteered.
"We are not Men in Black," huffed the shorter of the two. We are agents from the National Security Telecommunications Organization. I am agent Forrest Black, and this is my partner, agent Kevin Tennet."
Eyes narrowing Sue turned to the men, "I am Sue Sylvester. Head Cheerleading coach here at McKinley High and in charge of the Telecommunications security for this building. May I ask why you are here?"
"Oh wait," agent Tennet rubbed his hand through his hair. "You're the Sue Sylvester? Award winning coach, daughter of famed Nazi hunters, the woman who has more connections to more people than Verizon?"
"That would be me," Sue confirmed. "And this is Shelby Corcoran."
"Aw shit." Agent Tennet paled and turned to his partner. "Come on Forrest, this will be handled. We don't need to be here."
"Are you kidding?" The younger man stood his ground. "Just because these two seem to have some sort of hold on you doesn't mean that they have that sway on me. And before you say anything, yes, I read the literature on Coach Corcoran and Coach Sylvester flying out here. I don't care. I'm here to do my job. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to see what that man is doing on the phone in that office and see if he was the one stupid enough to leave evidence of making an international call from that line."
A few moments later, the agent came out with Will in tow, complaining about how he was being dragged out of his own office with nothing being explained to him. "What's going on? And what is he talking about making a call to Holland? I've never called there in my life!"
"Well, Brillo head, it appears that Agent Gump here doesn't understand how things work in my school in matters of security." Sue began.
"I'm agent Black, not agent Gump." The man protested.
"Oh no, you're agent Gump for sure." Santana smirked as the reference went straight over the man's head. "Anyway, we're trying to practice."
"And do tell, what exactly were you getting ready to sing?" Shelby asked.
"A song," Brittany smiled at Shelby and even Sue could do nothing but shake her head. You do know, Coach C that we sing songs in New Directions, right?"
"Yes, Brittany. I am aware of that." Shelby began only to be interrupted.
"I want to know who made the unauthorized call from the phone in that office!" Agent Black had finally let Will go and was looking around the room as if the answer would come from thin air.
"And I want to know why you are still in my building trying to do my job." Sue responded. "If you've read the bio on me then you know that you are not needed here. You can leave now."
"I am not leaving without answers." The man protested.
Pulling herself to her full height, Sue leaned into the man, "Now you listen here, you little …."
"Run, Forrest, run!" Came from the piano and Puck dissolved into laughter as his fellow classmates laughed at his movie quote. Shuddering slightly at the eyebrow Shelby gave him, Puck finally shrugged. "Aw come on, Coach C, you know I had to do it."
Shaking her head, Shelby slowly walked towards the piano, her heels making deliberate steps as she got closer. "So, tell me, Rachel, Santana, how long have you been here?"
"Long enough to have been trying out new songs for our next competition." Santana replied. "We think we want to do something from RENT.
"I see."
"Rachel?"
"I think I'd make a great Maureen. Don't you?" Rachel asked. Nodding to the pianist. As the notes began Rachel stepped forward challenging her mother. "Every single day, I walk down the street…."
"I hear people say baby so sweet." Shelby cut in and smirked at Rachel's affronted look. "Ever since puberty everybody stares at me, boys, girls, I can't help it baby…."
"I am not going to be Joanne to your mom being Maureen," Mercedes whispered.
"Don't think that's going to be a problem." Rachel stated as the cheerleading coach shook her head at Shelby.
"You're on Ethel," she stated before taking over. "This won't work, I look before I leap…."
As the women continued the verbal song sparing Rachel and the rest of the glee club could only stare. Shelby's voice was made for the part and even though Coach Sylvester's voice was suited more to Miss Hannigan she made a decent Joanne. "Rachel?"
"Yes, Santana?"
"Does your therapist allow you to have guests because I think I'm going to need a session after witnessing this."
"I think we all will," Puck said quietly. "I mean Coach C is made for this role.
"Actually, she was made for this role," Rachel said quietly. "She was at New York Theatre Workshop in 1994."
"Holy Barbra!" Kurt's voice was full of excitement as the vocal coach and cheerleading coach finally stopped singing and turned to smile at the now clapping glee club.
"You are amazing, Coach C!" Kurt complemented. "And Coach Sylvester, I had no idea you could actually sing."
"Well there are some things I like to keep hidden like you and your fairy wings."
Sue was once more interrupted by Agent Black. "Now, we're here because someone, or more than one someone, decided to bypass my office security in order to make some international phone calls and have them traced back to this office."
"I haven't made any international calls." Will protested. "The principal would kill me. Besides I don't know anyone overseas that I could call. I don't think anyone here does."
"Well except for Rachel." Puck spoke up. Aren't her former fathers overseas someplace? Like one of those countries that has a lot of snow and tall blonde people?"
"Rachel, Santana, you're with us." Shelby directed as the girls slowly moved toward their book bags in defeat. "Everyone else carry on."
"Wait, Coach C!" Kurt called finally brave enough to ask his question.
"Yes, Kurt?"
"Why did you leave the New York City Workshops?" He asked.
Taking a deep breath, Shelby stepped toward the group at the piano quietly. "Do the math, Kurt." Saying nothing else the woman turned and waited for Santana and Rachel to walk in front of her and behind Sue out of the glee room.
Seeing Will heading to the kids at the piano Agent Tennett breathed a sigh of relief. "Looks as if we got out of her without facing the wrath of either coach. Come on, Black. Let's go get a burger at that historic burger joint and catch the next flight home."
"Are you crazy, Tennett? I'm following those two women and seeing what they know."
Shaking his head, the taller agent slowly followed his shorter partner from the room hoping that he would live to tell this story to their fellow agents back at headquarters.

I know it's been a while. Hope it was worth the wait.
