Good whatever time of the day it is to you! And I welcome you to what might be something remarkable...

In the past, I very much struggled to translate my ideas of mine into reality. With the events of Covid, however, I've had plenty of time to think. Time to read many notable literary works, not just in Fanfiction. And those works have inspired me.

As much as I take pride in my ideas, I'm never afraid to admit they are insignificant next to the power of commitment. Do not read that out loud, please.

Many of the stories I have under my belt are hodgepodges of half-baked ideas without any real thought put into them. As a result, many of them still collect dust to this day. Whether or not I'll get back to those stories is a mystery, even to me.

My first story was meant to inspire others into going through with a crazy idea. It didn't work.

This time is a little different.

This one is an idea that's been stirring in my head for a very, very long time. And with a little help from my friends, I have been able to flesh out these concepts and be cohesive about them.

There are still a few things to flesh out, but I feel this is something I'll do in time, hopefully.

To any readers who have never come across me, sorry about that! Welcome! Here's what you need to know about this thing I'm writing about:

May I direct you to an author on this site named xxTheTruMan196 and his series entitled "Legacy of Jarik Shan."

When I first discovered his stories, I don't remember. What I do know is that this is my inspiration.

I had sent messages to TheTruMan before about a few minor details to be added to his stories. Such as his OC's voice actors. He seemed to like them.

This time, however, I decided I would act on my own accord. I told TTM that I would create my own character—one who could make decisions that he would never make. My goal here is not to make another OC fic but to make a character that has the potential to exist with the actual characters.

Jarik Shan is TTM's character. The man has put so much effort into his character. If you have the chance, I highly recommend that you read his stories. He even has a DeviantArt page showcasing the art of his original characters, events in his stories, and scenes for future fanfics. He really is an author worth your time. You'll find these stories on my Favorites page.

There are more things I would like to say, but I'll stick to these last details:

One: My intent is not to copy TTM's story and OC. Are there elements of his that make it into mine? Yes. Aside from that, however, my OC is not a carbon copy of his.

Two: TTM is not the only author I'm taking inspiration from. Plenty of other Fanfiction author's come to mind as I write this. AS well as famous authors, movies, and various other mediums. But that's info for another time.

Three: My story will take place in The Clone Wars(2007). I'm sure you guessed that much. But various changes have been made to suit my needs. Such as combining some aspects with a few from Legends. Which ones? You'll see. However, drastic changes had to be made for this to work. You'll see what I mean...

Fourth: I work slow. And every so often, I'll have to rewatch The Clone Wars to get an idea of what comes next. Also, I can't name the entire history of Legends or Canon, so I'll be going off of what I already know. Fortunately, I have a few people in mind who can help me with that.

Fifth: I'm not making a Gary Stu! One challenge I'll be faced with is making sure he does not have every single thing go right for this guy. But I also don't want him to be hated when he should be loved. It'll be tricky, but those are my high hopes. Feel free to give me constructive criticism whenever.

Okay, that's it then.

Now, let's get started! I sincerely hope you enjoy this!
