Im going to split the avengers movie into multiple chapters not sure if I'll go for two or three.

Stark tower nighttime (Toni POV)
"Pep why am I the one diving to disconnect the power lines?" I say walking out of the suit and into my very immaculate penthouse. I had to dive into the ocean and remove the power lines from the grid so the building only took power from the new Arc reactor.
"Because the cost of a crew would have been outrageous and you are much cheaper." She says not even looking up from her data pad.
"Great I'm cheep labor for my stingy CEO I better be getting overtime for this." She smiled while handing me a tablet seeing the data we where completely off the grid we just made the first all clean energy building in New York that will get the hippies off my back.
"Oh and the RND department sent over a package said it was done to your specifications." That got me excited as I ran over to the box on the bar top and immediately ripped it open sitting in packing fluff was a katana with a black blade.
"Toni please tell me you didn't make a sword for three million dollars." She said looking over the invoice that I discarded.
"Oh sweet innocent Pepper that was just the the cost of putting it together. The metal that makes the blade was fifty million and worth every penny." I say holding the sword up admiring my handy work. Adamantium was expensive and hard to find but if you knew the right kind of people you can get enough to make this masterpiece.
"Well tell me how your samurai career goes. Why do you need that thing?" She asked probably trying to forget the money I spent.
" Pep a sword is an elegant weapon from a time when people had honor." I couldn't help but remember when I crossed swords with some of the most powerful people in the universe only to win and crush there spirit.
"Toni stop smiling like a lunatic and have a drink." She said handing me some champagne.
"But Pep I want to try it out." I said sounding like a child with a new toy but before she could retort Jarvis gets our attention.
"Mam there is a call for you from an agent Coulson with shield." Great more people from the shady organization that was on my ass.
"Tell him if shield wants to talk send Natasha not some dead eyed agent in a fancy suit." Natasha did say she was going to be busy in the near future which was to bad I was going to invite her to the tower to celebrate the opening and she would like the sword I made unlike some people.
Right as I said that the elevator opened and an older man in a suit. "Ms Stark Director Fury would like you to look over this." He says walking in with a tablet.
"Hay do I walk into your brand new tower and tell you what to do." I say irritated that he just walks in like he owns the place.
"Ms Stark this is important and time sensitive we may have a large scale disaster on our hands." Wonderful I love those kind of disasters.
Taking the tablet while Pepper talks to the agent I plug it into my holographic interface table and images and videos start to play of different people but one thing got my attention instantly. A blue cube that glowed, even after hundreds of years I still recognized the object that shield apparently had. This was an object of unparalleled destruction in a small package because within the cube was something tons of people in the universe including Odin wanted. an Infinity stone.
Grabbing the image of the cube I turn my attention to the agent. "Where the hell did shield get this." He straightened up and addressed me.
"The tesseract has been in our custody for close to two decades someone stole it." This was bad an infinity stone was only ever used for two things death and destruction.
"Pepper head back to DC I have a lot of work to do and call Rhodey tell him to be ready I may need his help." She just nodded heading out while making the call.
Stuttgart Germany nighttime (Toni POV)
Seeing the shield data feed I knew this was the place where the action was. Flying over took no time with the new version of the Iron Queen armor with a sheath for my new sword attached to my back. Getting closer I see Captain America of all people fighting someone with flashy armor and a glowing staff and a jet hovering close by. Seeing it was Natasha in the jet I tap into the com system.
"Hay Nat who's this golden clad bastard." I says over the com.
"Hay Toni I have been great thanks for asking and this guy says he's Loki of Asgard." She says sounding stressed.
Asgard she says, great this is not what I want to hear, I have not seen anyone from Asgard in about a thousand years and I prefer if it to be forever. Now that I look at him I can see he's from the golden palace of assholes with those horns on his helmet and the black and green coat, hay that son of a bitch he stole my color scheme.
Increasing my speed I go in with a flying kick and slam into his chest at about a hundred and fifty miles an hour knocking him into the fountain behind where he was standing. Before he can get up I pull my new sword out and hold it to his neck. "Move and the head comes off you outfit stealing jackass." I growl while mister America starts to walk over and Loki drops the staff and surrenders.
"Stark." Was the Captain's only response.
"Captain." Was all I said back.
Quinjet cockpit half an hour later (Toni POV)
With the prisoner on board I turn my attention to Natasha because she is putting out some real bad vibes. "Nat what's wrong?" I say standing next to the pilot seat.
"I'll tell you when we land but it's bad." Damn that did sound bad giving her a pat on the shoulder and a smile I walk back to the deck and look over at Loki he seemed way to calm.
"I don't like this." The Captain said standing next to me.
"What him giving up so easy, he may just be a pussy." I say not really interested in his opinion.
"I don't remember it being so easy. He packs a real wallop." WOW now Captain America sounds like a pussy to.
"You talk a lot for someone who's supposed to be dead good to know Howard was not wasting his time looking for you." My snide comment was met with a disapproving look I could care less about. Suddenly the weather got worse and Loki looked nervous.
"Afraid of a little lightning?" Cap says to Loki.
"I'm not overly fond of what follows." Loki said looking at the ceiling.
Everyone hears a thud like something hitting the roof of the jet. Going to investigate I put my helmet on I move to the back opening the rear door. I was met with something slamming into me and some blond guy grabbing Loki and flying off. Getting back up more pissed off than usual I go to the opening.
"Another Asgardian?" Natasha says looking back at us.
"Is he a friendly?" Cap adds.
"Doesn't matter he's about to meet the sharp end of this sword. Also if he kills Loki this was a huge waste of time." I say flying out after them.
I finally find them on the top of a cliff arguing I use the same tactic and slam my foot into the blonds head knocking him down to the ground. I get a good look at him and damn he looks a lot like Odin which means this guy may be related to me and he was wielding my hammer. Is Odin just giving all my stuff away while I'm gone.
"Do not touch me again." The blond says in a threatening tone.
"Then don't take my shit." I say back flipping up my face plate.
"You have no idea what you are dealing with." He replies with an air of superiority that just fuels my anger. He already looks like the person who I want to rip apart now he was just putting icing on the cake.
"Don't I. shakespeare in the park, doth mother know you weareth her drapes?" I say in a mocking tone just to piss him off.
"This is beyond you metal woman Loki will face Asgardian Justice." Now I know what that's like and it is not pretty.
"Once he gives back the tesseract you can have him, until then fuck off blondie." I respond in a commanding tone flipping down my faceplate.
I see him fume and get ready to attack pulling his arm back he lets loose the hammer at me. What many don't know is the mighty hammer Mjölnir was the weapon Odin gave me when the conquest of the nine realms started. What even fewer knew was Mjölnir has a consciousness in the most basic sense, which means it can decide who can hold it and will always remember its first master no matter what form I'm in. So the look of surprise when I dodged the attack and grabbed the hammer midair then threw it back was priceless. He was so surprised he didn't move until it was to late and Mjölnir slammed into his chest.
"How are you worthy of wielding Mjölnir?" He demands as he picked himself up.
"I guess I'm just lucky like that." Definitely not going to tell him the real reason.
"Surprise you have a sister who your father banished after she got to uppity and tried to kill him, Ya that would go over well."
"Enough of this!" Blondie yells taking a flying leap at me I try to block but he is a little to fast and nails me in the chest sending me through a couple of trees.
Right as I get up I see him gathering lighting and sends a huge volley of electrical power strait at me but all it did was give me a huge power boost. Redirecting the energy to the chest Repulsor I blast him through a tree and follow up by trying to slash him with my now free sword but he raises Mjölnir to block. When they meet sparks fly It was a battle of strength between my enhanced armor and his natural power. Before either of us won a shield hits him and bounces off of my armor distracting both of us.
"That's enough!" Captain America yells at us jumpy down from the ledge. "I want to know what your doing here." Cap says to blondie.
"I have come to put an end to Loki's schemas." He grits out.
"Then prove it, put that hammer down." Cap replies in a tone of authority.
"Cap that's a terrible id-" before I could finish I get backhanded by Mjölnir flying back a good distance.
"You want me to put the hammer down!" Was the last thing I heard before a massive blast with a blinding light covers the area. Picking myself up and walking over to we're the other two where standing I said the only thing that came to mind.
"I fucking hate you both." With that I take off into the night.
Helicarrier two hours later (Steve Rogers POV)
There was a lot of things that where different in the future. Some things where good like medical advancements, food production and TV was definitely more interesting than a radio. But there was also the bad stuff as in nuclear weapons, international conflict and racism was still surprisingly a thing. But there was also a grey area that just confuses me.
Not to mention most of the people I knew where dead or dying and there relatives barely know about me. I was just a story to them that grandpa tells at Christmas time.
What really made me frustrated was Toni Stark she was nothing like Howard. Howard was a good man who always knew when to give his all and she was a sarcastic rich lady who probably has never wanted for anything. It was just upsetting the way she disrespected her father on the jet almost treating Howard like a joke.
Looking up from screen after Loki's little speech in his cell of the Helicarrier I see agent Romanoff sitting and waiting for the others to arrive. Dr Banner standing behind me and Thor standing off to the side. With most of the people where here not including Stark I decided to start the meeting but Banner beat me to it.
"He grows on you doesn't he." Banner said in a joking tone.
"Loki's going to drag this out." Looking over to blond so-called god for information. "Thor what his play?"
"He has an army called the Chitauri they are not of Asgard or any world known he means to lead them against your people. They will win him earth in return I suspect for the Tesseract." Thor says in a sullen tone.
I was about to respond but got cut off again by a voice coming from the hallway into the deck.
"An army from space isn't that some bullshit." Stark said walking in.
Helicarrier ten minutes earlier (Toni POV)
"Stupid Fury and his oversized ship, this thing is just a disaster waiting to happen. Should have wore something other than heeled boots." The only change of clothes I brought where a long sleeve blouse, jeans and some knee high heeled boots.
The walk over from where my suit is being kept was way to long and the flying aircraft carrier was way over the top.
"You nameless agent where the hell is Fury in this crap heap of a base!" I demand from some random agent passing me by.
"J-j-just follow the main h-hall it should lead you there." The agent stutters out.
"Thanks now put some damn signs up so this doesn't happen again." I really had no authority to order this but fear is great motivation.
"YES MAM RIGHT AWAY!" Said the agent running from me.
"Ah I still got it." It's fun to bark orders in a my command voice.
Walking down the hall I see many people running around doing busy work or hauling crates and some where just standing and talking. This whole ship was a pointless flex on other intelligence organizations about how much shield cable do. I see a monitor with Fury and Loki talking. Loki gives a speech about some nonsense only to prove he's a crazy. I just found out Thor is my half brother and so is Loki now doesn't that just put our family tree in a good light.
"Well when you come from a megalomaniac your bound to get some interesting character traits." Maybe Thor also wants to conquer a world or two.
Hearing my phone ring with a Run the jewels ringtone I realize it's Rhodey. "Hay honey bear thanks for calling."
"Toni I'm ready if you need me." Came his more than ready reply.
"I'm sending you the GPS location of my suit, be here a soon as possible this is a shit show." I said sending the location of Fury's super secret hover base.
"Ok Toni be there in thirty minutes." He says hanging up.
It will be good to have Rhodey and Natasha with me while I work on saving the world. Finally making it to the meeting I see every around the table and Thor looking like someone pissed in his cereal.
"An army from space ain't that some bullshit." I say with a smile.
"So he's making another portal, that's what he needs Erik Selvig for." Banner supplies which was a good point.
"Selvig?" Thor replies seemingly surprised.
"He's an astrophysicist." Banner informs Thor.
"He's a friend." Great Thor's friend was making a doom portal.
"Loki has him under some kind of spell along with one of our own." Nat adds making it clear why she was down in the dumps.
"I want to know why Loki let us take him? He's not leading an army from here." Cap says addressing the room.
"I wouldn't focusing on Loki that guys brain is a bag full of cats you can smell crazy on him." Banner say making me snort.
Thor glares at both of us. " have care of how you speak Loki is beyond reason but he is of Asgard and my brother." Thor just proves my point Asgardian's are nuts including me.
"He killed eighty people in two days." Natasha says in a dry tone.
"He's adopted." Thor says like that explains everything.
"I think it's about the mechanics what does he need the Iridium for?" A good question from Banner which I have the answer for.
"It's a stabilizing agent which means the portal won't collapse on it self like at shield. Also means the portal can stay open as wide and as long as Loki wants." I have to explain but I see only one person gets it.
Walking over to the front of the room I see lots of agents doing pointless tasks I see one who is playing Galaga that was not even pretending to be busy. "YOU! Galaga player get me two teas NOW!"
"YES MAM!" He practically screamed running out of the room. While everyone was staring at the fleeing agent I plant a hacking nod so Jarvis can get me enough dirt on shield to fill the Grand Canyon.
"The only thing he really need is power source of high energy density to kick start the party." I finished getting everyone's attention back on me.
"When did you become an expert in thermonuclear astrophysics?" Well this lady was rude.
"Last night and you would be to if you bothered to read the info packet and Selvig's notes." I quip then move and sit with Nat in return she gives me a smirk.
"Does Loki need any particular kind of power source?" Cap asks.
"He would need to heat the cube to twenty million kelvin just to break through the Coulomb barrier." Banner was on a role for good points. "Unless Selvig figured out a way to stabilize the quantum tunneling effect." I replied not really paying attention. "If he could do that he can achieve heavy ion fusion at any reactor on the planet."
I was going to say something but Nat put her hand up looking right at me. "Toni stop speaking mad scientist you lost most of us when you started."
"Oh Natasha when will you learn mad scientists are the best scientists." I say with a chuckle.
Just then Fury strides in with his billowing coat but right as he was about to say something an agent sprints in with a tray of tea looking like he ran a marathon. "Mam I'm sorry they only had jasmine I hope that it's ok with you." He gets out with a nervous smile.
Grabbing a cup and taking a drink I noted it tasted fine so I take the other cup an give it to Nat. "Good work, now run along." Both me and Natasha take sips while Fury gets progressively more angry.
"What the hell was that!" He demanded I didn't answer just took another sip. "Are you also the reason there is an agent putting up cardboard signs with directions for the Helicarrier!"
That I smiled at. "What this place needed signs." I wink at him knowing he hated every minute of this.
Fury obviously not wanting to deal with this now chose to move on. "I need you to help Dr Banner with tracking the cube." Fury bites out.
"Ok fine Captain Crunch I'll help find the cube of death." Turning my attention to Banner. "Alright rage monster lets science." Then addressing Natasha. "Nat when your free meet me in the lab so we can talk." And with that I make my way to the exit.
But right as I leave I say one last thing to Fury. "Oh and just to let you know I called Rhodes he will be here in fifteen minutes so leave a window open or I will tell him to make one."
Helicarrier lab space 15 minutes later (Toni POV)
Working with Bruce was fun he got all the science jokes I made unlike Rhodey who was sitting off to the side and annoying me like any good brother. We had been working on the tracking algorithm for about an hour making good progress it was almost done when Cap walked in right as I hit Bruce my electro stick.
"Are you nuts?!" Cap says walking up to the table.
"Probably. I think it's a matter of perspective." Was my nonchalant reply.
"No Toni your definitely nuts." Rhodey buts in which a smile. "I still remember you sneaking into a zoo and sleeping in the giraffe enclosure." Great of all the times he remembered from the college years it was that one.
"Is everything a joke to you?" Cap's comeback was mediocre at best.
"Kinda." It was hard not to find humor in almost everything when your as old as I was.
"Threatening the safety of everyone on ship is not a joke." Came the authoritative thoughts of the Captain. "No offense doctor." He tagged on at the end.
"Don't worry I wouldn't have come if I couldn't handle pointy things." Bruce tell us like a zen master.
"Then I would still worry because Toni has a lot more than a shock stick." Rhodey comes in with more wisdom on yours truly.
"Can you focus on the problem." Cap says not looking pleased
"I am but that is not the only problem around here. Why is Fury calling us in now not before this turned into a problem." Now Rhodey was paying extra attention as I talk to Cap.
"You think fury is hiding something?"
"No shit Sherlock he's always hiding something the real question is what, It's bothering Bruce to." Both of us took at Banner.
"I just want to finish my work here..." he says trying to avoid the subject.
"Doctor?"
"A warm light for all of mankind Loki's jab at Fury about the cube I think that was meant for you." He states looking at me. "Even if Barton didn't tell Loki about it it was all over the news."
"The Stark tower that big ugly building in New York." Rogers says only slightly hesitant.
"You know what you make a self sustaining skyscraper then you can design it." I huff out.
"That building is powered by an Arc reactor it will sustain it self for what a year?" Bruce asked.
"Ya but that's just the prototype it's kinda the only thing the environmental groups like about me." Man hippies suck no matter where you are in the universe.
"So why didn't shield bring her in on the tesseract project? What are they doing in the energy business in the first place?" Bruce definitely hit the nail on the head.
"I'll be looking into that a soon as Jarvis is done breaking into there files like a piñata." That got Rogers attention
"I'm sorry did you sa-"
Not letting him continue. "I have had Jarvis running since I was on the bridge in a few hours I'll know everything shield is trying to hide." The smug in my voice was thick.
"You wonder why they don't want you around?"
"I know exactly why Fury doesn't want me around and it's mostly due to a Coffee cup hitting him in the head." I still cherish that memory.
"I think Loki is trying to wined us up, this is a man who means to start a war. If we don't focus he'll succeed." While that was a good point I still had other thing on my mind. "We have orders we should follow them." Rogers says trying to put his foot down.
"Listen the only orders I take are from him." I say pointing to Rhodey. "And the only reason is because he is the responsible one."
"Steve tell me this doesn't smell funky to you?" Bruce says.
"Just find the cube." Rogers says then walks out right as he opens the door Natasha is walking in.
"Hay Toni thanks for the tea this has not been a great week." Nat says looking so done. "And I need to ask you a favor if you see Barton please capture him alive he is a good friend and I don't want to lose him."
"Nat no problem, me and Rhodey will try our best." I say trying to sound reassuring.
"Now I'm going to take a stab at Loki with the whole assassin with a heart of gold act to get some info wish me luck." With that she walks out.
