Asgard palace library next mourning (Toni POV)
The most useful spells I have learned so far are the clone self spell, the speed reading spell, and the materialize objects from memory spell. Now there was a thousand of me reading spell books and copying them for storage. Meanwhile I was playing fetch with Fenris using Surtur's skull in the throne room. I was finally out of that skintight bodysuit I used to call armor now in way more comfortable clothing. Now I was wearing a dark green loose half T-shirt, a sports bra and pantie combo, black sweatpants, and black and green striped toe socks. I had forgone any shoes for because I am alone and all, plus sliding on the shiny stone floor was fun.
"Alright now with feeling!" I yell throwing the skull with my Asgardian strength for Fenris.
He takes off down the long corridor skidding when he accidentally ran past it. Picking it up in his massive teeth and ran back stopping and dropping it in front of me.
"Good boy! You want a treat?" I ask getting a turbo tail wag that kicks up wind.
Tossing him a new steak he gobbled it down.
"Your not what I expected." A calm voice says from the entrance of the throne room.
Standing at the huge doors was a very tall black man with golden eyes wearing armor. He hefted the Bifrost sword over his shoulder as he looked me over like he was judging my intentions.
"And what exactly were you expecting?" I ask subtly moving into a defensive stance, Fenris arched his back and began to growl.
"I see all with these eyes. I witnessed Odin's death and his last words of warning about Hela the Goddess of death. I also saw you fight with prince Thor and prince Loki." He says not moving an inch.
"And what are you going to do about it?" I say with gritted teeth summoning two Necroswords.
"Nothing." He says his face not giving anything away.
"Alright are you fucking with me?" I ask letting the Necroswords dematerialize.
"I have been observing you ever since you step out of the portal to Norway. All you have done in Asgard is read books and play with that large wolf." He says putting down the Bifrost sword.
"So what do you want?" I ask relaxing my stance.
"May we talk? I am curious about you." He say gesturing to the library.
"I don't see why not, just don't disturb the army of me reading and working." I say walking to the library.
Avengers compound conference room same time (Natasha POV)
Nothing! We found nothing!" I shout ready to pull out my hair.
All the Avengers and any group currently affiliated with us was here. The Defenders were here, Shuri was here, Jennifer was here, Hope van Dyne and Scott Lang were here, King T'Chaka was on video call, hell even a Shield team with an alive Phil Coulson was helping. But the day and a half search turned up nothing but criminal organizations and dead ends.
"We rooted out any remaining Hand holdouts but they had nothing." Danny Rand says for the Defenders.
"I have sent many of our best stealth teams across suspected magic locations and they report nothing." The king says frustrated
"Miss Walters helped us run down some Hydra cells but they also knew nothing." Hope says for her team.
"Miss Potts ordered myself and Friday to search any corporate chatter that would suggest foul play. Vivian also has come up with nothing searching the globe." Jarvis adds for his team of AI's.
"We've hit at least ten groups with any ties to magic and got nothing." Coulson says.
"We currently have no solid leads. Wanda, Pietro and Vision are following up on on something in Kathmandu Nepal and will call if that turns anything up." Steve says head in his hands.
"I also tried to find the place in the portal but the only locations that fit burnt orange sky's with gray sand is in Norse mythology, the land of the dead Helheim a part of Niflheim." Daisy Johnson says for New Shield.
"Norse normally means Asgardian any way we can follow up." I ask hopefully getting a lead.
"We don't know anyone that's on our world currently that can confirm that." Daisy says frustration clear.
Ring! Ring!
"What!?" I yell pulling out my phone answering it.
"Well hello to you as well Nat, We found something in Nepal." Wanda says.
"Sorry just frustrated, what did you find?" I ask needing something.
"We met a wizard who said he knew where Toni is." Wanda says happily.
"Really! Where?!" I say turning on my speaker.
"He said we will be there in a minute so clear the door." Pietro says confusing the room.
The next second a bright orange portal opens in the door way and out steps Wanda, Pietro, and Vision followed by a man in what I can only describe as wizard clothes and a cape.
"Hello I'm Doctor Stephen Strange master of the mystic arts, not a wizard." The man says closing the portal.
"Do you know where Toni Stark is?" I ask cutting to the chase.
"Yes she is on Asgard." He says in a bored tone.
"Well what's she doing there?!" Jennifer yells.
"I cannot disclose that but I assure you she will return soon and unharmed. She can explain upon her return." He says opening another portal.
"How can we trust you?" Steve asks with a good amount of suspicion.
"I have only spoke the truth, it's up to you if you believe me." He say leaving.
We all just absorb that information taking solace in the fact that Toni is safe according to the wizard. There was also the fact that we frantically searched the planet for no reason.
"You know what. Let's party! All of us and it's on Toni!" I yell pulling out the card Toni gave me.
"If she is safe then we need a break" I think already ordering enough booze to fill a large pool.
Sakaar Brunnhilde's home same time (Thor POV)
"Look I've spent years in a haze, trying to forget my past. Sakaar seemed like the best place to drink and forgot and to one day die." The Valkyrie says stopping outside her door.
"I was thinking that you drink to much and that probably was gonna kill you." I say glad to see some improvements with her mood.
"I don't plan to stop drinking." She clarified.
"Oh." I mutter back at square one.
"But I don't want to forget, I can't turn away anymore. So if I'm gonna die... well it may as well be driving my sword through the heart of that murderous hag." She say with conviction.
"Good." I say.
"Yeah." Banner adds.
"So I'm saying I want to be on the team. Has it got a name?" She asks.
"Yeah it's called the... Revengers." I say making something up after being put on the spot.
"Revengers?" She says questioning my naming skills.
"Because I'm getting revenge, you're getting revenge, do you want revenge?" I ask Banner.
"I'm undecided." Banner stammers out.
"Ok." I reply.
"Also I brought a peace offering." Valkyrie say opening her door to show that Loki was chained to a chair.
I pick up a can and toss it at his head.
"Ow." Loki says confirming head real.
"Just had to be sure." I say going further in.
"Hello Bruce." Loki says to Banner.
"So last time I saw you, you were trying to kill everybody. Where are you at these days?" Banner asks Loki.
"Before I answer that, why are you wearing a woman suit?" Loki asks giving Banner a once over.
It was true because the only clothes on the jet were Toni's. Even if Toni and Bruce were about the same height, Toni was much thinner so bruce look like he squeezed into that woman's suit.
"It was the only thing available." Bruce says.
Loki simmers down letting us discuss our options.
"If we take a wormhole on the outskirts of the city we can be at Asgard in eighteen months." Valkyrie says.
"No we won't because we're taking the big one." I say pointing to the largest wormhole in the sky.
"What? The devils anus." She exclaimed in shock.
"Who's anus?" Bruce says while he chews on food.
"We're going to need another ship because mine will be torn apart." Valkyrie says.
"Might I have a word brother." Loki says.
Smash!
"Yes brother?" I ask paying no mind to the shattered glass.
"Don't you think it's strange that Hela took the form of Stark, much less that she even knew who Stark was?" He asks making a good point.
"Valkyrie did Hela ever take a different form when she fought you?" I ask.
"No but that evil bitch is full of tricks so it wouldn't surprise me." she says grinding her teeth.
We discuss more on how to get a ship when Loki says he can help. The whole time I wonder what I'm missing and if it's important.
Asgard palace library 2 hours later (Toni POV)
After sitting down I tell Heimdall my story from my banishment to my current life. He just sat there an listened occasionally asking a question or to chuckle at the funny parts.
"You are an interesting person Heimdall." I say drinking some tea.
"I could say the same Princess." He says sipping his own cup.
"Don't call me princess, it makes my skin crawl." I say making a sour face.
"You know because Odin never made your banishment public, you are still next in line for the throne." He says eating a cookie.
"Nope! I will not even consider sitting on that throne. I may not want to paint this town red with blood but I still hate it here." I say waving my hand in a dismissive fashion.
"With Thor not taking the position and Loki banned for his many crimes we don't have many choices." He explains his reasoning.
"Just wait for Thor to accept or find another child of Odin, I'm sure with how he acted in my time there should be a few out there." I say getting a wide eyed look from Heimdall.
"Mam that was the last book." A clone says walking up.
"Good job your all dismissed." I say making the thousand other Toni's disappear.
"Did you actually learn every spell in the library?" He says looking impressed.
"Hell no. I don't get the memories of the clones, they just read the books and made me copies to take. That would be some real overpowered bullshit if I could do that." I say refilling my cup of tea.
"I suppose so... what will you do now?" He asks.
"I'll be returning to earth, I don't belong here anymore. Plus I'm full on power, there is a limit on how much I can store. It just seems endless because I refill on energy instantly whenever I use it here." I say standing up summoning a pair of boots and putting them on.
"Well let me walk you out, I also need to activate the Bifrost." He says standing and walking over to the exit.
"Thanks I appreciate the help." I say following him with Fenris bringing up the rear still holding Surtur's skull in his mouth.
Walking through the city I got a lot of looks weather it was from the way I was dressed or the titanic wolf following close behind.
"You know I checked to see if Odin kept my room while I was banished... turns out it's Loki's room now. I'm not sure if it was intentional or not but I feel like he tried to replace me with him." I say making a few comparisons.
"Perhaps he felt more guilty than he lead on." Heimdall says as we reach the rainbow bridge.
"I was trained from birth to kill and conquer, I never met my mother or was aloud to play with the other children. I was always forced to go down the path of a worrier weather I wanted to or not. He shouldn't have been surprised I turned out a crazed bloodthirsty megalomaniac when all I knew was how to kill." I say with a scowl.
"I can't really say anything about that, the Odin you knew and I knew were different. Perhaps peace brought him more perspective with how he raised you." He says bringing the Bifrost sword over his shoulder.
"You May be right but it doesn't matter, my life is my own. I have friends and obligations that are more important than Asgard." I say smiling thinking about my friends.
"Yes I understand, perhaps I will see you again in Asgard." He says as we arrived.
"Well if you ever find yourself on earth come visit, you can consider us friends." I say holding out my hand.
"I shall." He say shaking hands.
Putting the sword into the Bifrost the transporter activates shining bright.
"Where would you like to go?" He asks aiming the Bifrost.
"The Avengers compound and aim for the driveway or my landscaper is going to kill me." I say hopping onto Fenris like a horse.
"I will send Thor when he returns, he may not believe me when I speak of you so be ready." He says.
"Oh joy... well that's his problem. Let's go Fenris." I say.
"Owoooooooooooooowhoo!" Fenris howls running into the light.
Avengers compound same time (Toni POV)
Landing on the front driveway in a shower of light I expected to be greeted by someone, or at least I expected someone to investigate the bright light.
No what greets me is silence.
"This is our home Fenris, well one of them. I am very rich." I say patting his head.
He starts walking towards the entrance when he stops and starts sniffing something on the ground. Dismounting my fluffy boi I look down to see someone on the ground. Upon further inspection it was the unconscious body of Jessica Jones. Fenris looks at me as if asking for permission.
"No she's a friend so don't eat her." I say scratching his neck.
Poking her with my foot she doesn't move so I take drastic measures.
"Fenris lick her in the face." I say getting a nod.
Fenris drops the skull, leans down sticking his huge tongue out and drags it on Jessica's face. The woman groans and bats the tongue away, rubbing her eyes.
"Uh it's to early don't put that wet rag on my face." She mumbled rolling over.
"That was not a wet rag now get up, your drooling on my lawn." I say kicking her softly.
"Toni leave me alone." She mumbled but when her words reach her brain she shoots up and groans.
"Oh hangover... Toni your back!" She yells wrapping me in a hug.
"Yup I even brought a friend." I say pushing her back a little.
"Who did you..." She trail of when her face meets two tons of wolf.
"Aaaaah what's that!" She yells pointing at Fenris.
"He is the fluffiest boi in the universe, Fenris my best faithful companion." I say rubbing his belly.
"You disappeared for two days and come back with black hair and a giant wolf." She says slowly.
"Yup now let's go inside and get some coffee." I say walking to the door.
She followed next to Fenris as we enter try to enter but the door is a little to small for him. After some pushing he squeezes in but I tell him to wait in the common room. Going into the kitchen to make the coffee I see Rogers laying on the counter top.
"Mam you have returned, thank goodness you are safe." Jarvis says
"Boss lady your back! Praise the lord!" Friday says weirdly.
"Mistress you are back, truly it's a wonderful day." Vivian says.
"Thanks for your concern kids, Vivian what are you doing out of your room?" I ask surprised she was out and about.
"Oh big brother and sister conscripted me to help find you, I was unsuccessful and I apologize." She says with a hint of sadness.
"Don't worry I was off world so no harm done, you guys are the best." I say smiling up at the camera.
Walking over to Rogers I look for something to wake him up. I see a glass of water and pick it up.
Splash!
"What!? Who!? We're under attack!" Rogers yells trying to get up but he's on a counter top so falls immediately on the ground.
"Calm down Rogers... is that Barnes's arm?" I ask looking on the counter to see that Rogers was laying on top of a metal arm.
"Toni your alive." Rogers says also going for a hug but I place a hand on his chest halting him.
"I'll explain everything in the common room, so help me carry the five gallons of coffee we need." I say getting a nod.
Turning on the industrial sized coffee machines I tell Jarvis and Friday to announce my return and send everyone to the common room. Heading down the hallway with a huge coffee dispenser and a metal arm, while Rogers and Jessica carry cups. we stop when we hear yells.
"Help! Help! This thing is going to eat me!" The voice of Pietro comes from the common room causing us to rush.
Bursting into the door I see Fenris batting a tied up Pietro back and forth like a dog toy. Rogers gets ready to attack but stop when I open my mouth.
"Fenris don't play with him, you don't know where he's been." I say putting down the coffee and arm.
"Toni wh-" Rogers start but I hold up my hand.
"I'll explain but wait for everyone to arrive." I say walking over to Pietro and ripping the rope, picking him up and place him on a couch.
Fenris lays down on his side, so I lay down with my back to his stomach. Slowly the room fills with people, some I know and some are new. Nat runs for me as soon as she sees me along with Jennifer, Wanda, Pepper and weirdly enough Hope Van Dyne as well embraced me. Once everyone was here the doors close and I stand up.
"So I'm here to explain why I was yanked off earth. But first, Jarvis, Friday, Vivian disabled protocol M-A-G-1-7 permanently." I say a to my children.
"Voice match confirmed... protocol to pause system run-times in the presence of non threatening magic is permanently disabled." All three AI's said.
"Toni what was that? Why is your hair a different color? And why is there a blob of fur in here?" She says in quick secession noticing my hair color change and Fenris, not knowing he was alive.
"Fenris say hi." I say getting strange looks.
The look of shock on there faces was priceless as Fenris moves his head to look at the group. He yawns showing his fangs the size of my torso, this causes some to move back and Pietro to shiver.
"This is Fenris the best wolf in the universe and my fluffy boi. Aren't you! Yes you are." I say using both hands for belly rubs. Fenris lifts his leg and wags his tail at the praise.
"Toni where did you get a giant wolf..." Nat says inching closer as if she was going to save me from being eaten.
I was about to answer when the door to the common room was slammed open and two blurs ran into me. Looking down I see two teenagers hugging me, Peter was sniffing and Shuri was full on crying.
"Toni I was so worried!" Shuri yells staining my sweat pants with tears.
"Where were you mo- Miss Stark!" Peter says trying to hold his tears.
"Don't cry. I'm back and I'm not leaving." I say awkwardly patting there heads.
I stand there for a few minutes before they calm down and noticed Fenris. Peter looked ready to jump but Shuri's reaction was something new.
"Puppy!" She yells running over to Fenris's face and rubbing his doggy cheeks.
Fenris looks very confused as he glances at me for guidance. I just shrug causing him to focus on Shuri and give her front a lick. Right then four Dora Milaje run in and see a giant wolf licking there princess.
"Ok before you attack my wolf! He is perfectly harmless, he's just showing affection." I say to the Dora Milaje.
Waiting for everyone to calm down I take a seat on a massage chair. Turning it on I lean back and start from the beginning.
"To start I was not always Antonia Maria Stark... I wasn't alway human either. I was born Hela Odinsdottir Asgardian Goddess of death." I say ripping the metaphorical bandaid off.
"Well might as well run forward." I think with getting ready to tell them everything.
Asgard palace throne room 2 hours later (Thor POV)
Bang! Bang! Bang!
"That's the fifthtime I've summoned her for a challenge!" I think slamming Gungnir on the throne room floor and holding Mjølnir in my other hand.
The Revengers had arrived half an hour ago expecting the city to be in turmoil, but everything was normal!
No executions!
No undead army!
Not even a cry for help!
"The only thing wrong was someone painted obscenity's on Odin's personal room walls." I think remembering the colorful language on my fathers walls.
"I don't think the hag is on Asgard." Valkyrie says in frustration.
"Isn't that good?" Banner asks.
"No. It means she's somewhere unknown plotting our deaths." She replied taking a drink from a bottle she found in the kitchen.
"Prince Thor I have received many compliments about a banging noise coming from the palace, please stop." Heimdall says walking into the throne room.
"So she's not here." Loki says moving out from behind Heimdall.
"Heimdall we need your assistance! My evil sister has fled and we must locate her before she causes tragedy!" I say with alarm.
"Hela is on Midgard with your shield brothers and sisters." He says stone faced as always.
"Then we must make haste! Come Revengers and Loki to battle!" I yell flying to the Bifrost.
