Chapter 2: Team 7 Trails
After Iruka called out the first six teams he called out "Team 7 will be, Naruto Uzumaki..."
Naruto began to sweat a bit after hearing his name first and was really hoping that he would be with his two only friends.
Sakura herself was getting nervous. She was really hoping that her hero Naruto would be on her team.
"Sakura Haruno" Iruka continued.
"Yeahhhhhhh!" Yelled out Sakura while standing, happy that she got paired up with her hero. However this earned her a surprised look from everyone in the classroom except Naruto and Hinata.
"And Sasuke Uchiha" Iruka finished.
Once again Sakura yelled out "Yeahhhhhhh!" This time she yelled out because she was happy that Hinata wouldn't be there to cause problems (Yes Sakura knows that Hinata also likes Naruto) and possibly ruin her chances with Naruto. However, everyone except Naruto and Hinata took it as she mistook Naruto for Sasuke the first time and was happy when he actually got paired with her.
'I guess I won't be with Naruto-Kun' thought Hinata.
"Team 8 will be, Hinata Hyuga, Kiba Inuzuka, and Shino Aburame" Continued on Iruka.
"I hope Hinata/I, gets/get along with those guys" Thought both Naruto and Hinata in unison.
"And Team 10 will be Choji Akimichi, Shikamaru Nara and Ino Yamanaka. Please wait in the classroom to meet your Jonin sensei " finished Iruka.
(Hours Later)
Sakura scooted over to the seat Hinata sat in once Hinata left to be closer to Naruto.
"Just don't get in my way you two, especially you Sakura" said Sasuke while turning his head to look at her .
"Don't talk to her like that Sasuke" Naruto defended Sakura.
Sakura blushed at how her hero was defending her. She wanted to thank him properly with a hug or maybe even a kiss on the cheek, possibly even lips, but she couldn't bring herself to do it.
"Hnn" Said Sasuke before turning his head
"How long is this gonna take? We've been waiting for hours" Grunted Naruto.
"Just try being patient Naruto-Kun" Sakura advised sweetly while snuggling into his arm.
"Sure, whatever you say Sakura-Chan" said Naruto. Sakura blushed as she always did whenever Naruto used that honorific.
Out of nowhere the door opened and a masked silver haired Jonin came inside the classroom.
"Hello I am Kakashi, and I will be your Jonin sensei, meet me at the roof" said the silver haired Jonin.
"Well that was quick" said Naruto. Sakura nodded in agreement and Sasuke just looked the other way and simply grunted out his displeasure.
(The Rooftop)
Team 7 made it to the roof of the Academy and were sitting on the steps in front of their Jonin Sensei.
"It's me again and why don't we start off with introducing ourselves. Say stuff you like, stuff you hate, goals, hobbies, you get the idea.
"Why don't you show us how it's done Kakashi?" Asked Naruto.
Kakashi gave an eyes smile and said "My name is Kakashi Hatake, I like a lot of things, I don't feel like telling you what I hate, I have lots of hobbies, and goals I haven't thought of that. Alright, now your turn blonde.
'All we know is your name' thought Naruto and Sakura.
Naruto just shrugged and said "Well okay. My name is Naruto Uzumaki, I like Ramen from Ichiraku, as well as training with my Jiji, I hate whenever I'm not being able to do either, a hobby I have is training, and lastly my goal is to become the strongest Hokage in history!" After this was said Sakura was looking at Naruto with heart eyes and a big blush.
"Alrighty then" said Kakashi. "Now you with the pink hair."
"Oh, my name is Sakura Haruno. I like a certain someone, I hate not being noticed by that someone, a hobby of mine is helping that someone, and my goal is to marry that someone one" Sakura started off in a small voice but then got progressively louder.
"Okay" said Kakashi. "Now finally you, the emo kid."
"My name is Sasuke Uchiha. I hate a lot of things and don't really like anything. My goal is to restore my clan and destroy a certain someone."
'Hmm, he wouldn't be talking about who I think he is, is he? If he is I hope he doesn't plan on fighting his older brother now (Naruto was told about the Nine Tailed Fox and Uchiha massacre by his Jiji) because that would prove to be fatal and not in his favor' thought Naruto.
"Well with that out of the way, let me tell you what you're test is going to be, and what you should do" announced Kakashi.
"Can't say I didn't expect that" casually commented Naruto.
'Huh, how did Naruto-Kun/The Dobe, know that this was going to happen' thought Sakura and Sasuke.
"Well I'll see you meet you at training grounds 7 tomorrow, don't be late, oh and also don't eat ahead of time" warned Kakashi.
After hearing this Naruto leaned into both of their ears and whispered "I don't trust him, I recommend eating ahead of time to you both."
"Okay Naruto-Kun" agreed Sakura.
"I won't listen to a dobe like you" said Sasuke.
Sakura was about to lash out at Sasuke for talking to her best friend Naruto like that, but Naruto held out his hand to her and whispered "Suit yourself."
With that being said Naruto disappeared in a swirl of leaves leaving everyone else wide eyed. "How does he know a Jutsu like that, he just a Genin?" Asked Kakashi aloud.
(With Naruto)
Naruto shunshin'd to his Jiji's tower, went inside, went up the stairs, opened the door to his office, and yelled "Morning Jiji! do you have time?" Then slammed the door shut.
"Oh, it's just you Naruto, I thought you were a Jonin sensei untill I heard you say Jiji. Anyways sure, I have sometime" said Hiruzen.
"Alright, thanks a bunch Jiji!" yelled Naruto.
The door opened again and a little brown haired boy came out and yelled "Take this kid!" and threw three Kunai at Naruto, which he managed to successfully catch all of them.
"You're gonna have to try harder than that kid and who are you anyway?" Asked/said Naruto.
"I am Konohamaru Sarutobi, the next Hokage if you would, and you are the boy that always gets trained by my Grandpa, so if I can beat you he'll have no choice but to make me the next Hokage" Announced Konohamaru.
"Well kid I'ma let you in on something, I'mma be the next Hokage, and the only way you're gonna take that from me is if you pry it from my cold dead hands" said Naruto proudly.
"Well you are pretty strong. hmm, oh, how about this? We'll be rivals and compete for that position got it" announced Konohamaru.
"Sure you got it" Agreed Naruto.
"With that being said though, can you teach me a Jutsu?!" Konohamaru started off quietly but then got louder.
"Sure" said Naruto. "But can it wait till I'm done training for the day with Hokage Jiji?"
Konohamaru nodded in agreement. and so Naruto trained.
(Two hours later)
Naruto was done training for the day and was walking out the door of the Hokage Tower. "Alrighty now let me teach you a cool new Jutsu" He told Konohamaru.
"Alright!" Yelled Konohamaru.
(Thirty minutes later)
"You think you got it?" Asked Naruto.
"Yeah, I got it" said Konohamaru. He made the signs and called out "Kage Bunshin No Jutsu!" And just like that a perfect copy of the boy was made.
"Alright, way to go. Well that's all for now, maybe I'll teach you a new Jutsu in the future." said Naruto while sporting a thumbs up.
"Definitely" replied Konohamaru.
and then they went their separate ways.
(The Next Day)
After getting a good night's rest, and having breakfast, Naruto made his way to training grounds 7. He met up with almost everyone there.
"Where's Kakashi Sensei?" Asked Naruto. receiving shrugs from both his teammates. They both waited for a good two hours untill Sasuke's stomach started growling and Naruto said "I bet you wish you listened to me now don't you?" Receiving a glare and head turn from Sasuke. Naruto chuckled looked over to Sakura and asked her "Did you listen to me Sakura-Chan?"
Sakura nodded her head vigorously and said "Of course I listened to you Naruto-Kun."
"I'm glad" said Naruto. After this was said he grabbed Sakura's arm and said "You're a good friend, I love you"
Sakura turned beat red and asked "L-l-love?"
Naruto smiled at her and said "Of course, because you're my friend. Wow you look just like Hinata did when I said this same thing to her."
Sakura's blush settled down and she also frowned 'Oh, that kind of love."
Out of nowhere Kakashi appeared in a swirl of leaves. He looked at all three and noticed that Sasuke was the only one who's stomach was growling. 'I see now what Naruto was whispering to them. But judging by the fact Sasuke is still hungry and Sakura isn't, maybe this will still work?" Thought Kakashi.
"Alrighty what do you want us to do?" Asked Naruto casually.
"Well your test will be, this" said Kakashi as he pulled out two bells.
"Let me guess we're gonna have to take them from you and if we don't we then we don't get food" predicted Naruto.
Kakashi was visibly surprised due to his one open eye. "How did you know?" He asked.
"Because Hokage Jiji has done the same thing with me. Only difference is it was me alone, which is why I warned both my teammates to eat ahead of time" Explained Naruto. Kakashi was surprised and stammered
"Th-the Hokage himself trained you?" Kakashi asked.
"He still does" Replied Naruto.
Sakura was visibly amazed if the praying handsign and heart eyes weren't enough of a giveaway.
"How did you know I was gonna do this though?" Asked Kakashi.
"Because back then, while I was in my Jiji's office, I would hear about how a Jonin named Kakashi Hatake's Genin students would always fail his bell test and end up being sent back to the Academy" Explained Naruto even more.
Sakura couldn't hold her posture anymore, and ran over to Naruto and glomped him to the ground from the back (Naruto landed on the ground face first).
After a bit of time Naruto got back up with Sakura still holding onto him tightly around the neck. Naruto then choked out "Too...tight"
Sakura immediately got the message and let him go.
Kakashi then announced "Anyways, yes you're right. No food for the one without a bell, begin"
Sasuke decided to hide and Sakura was about to but Naruto pulled her back and whispered something in her ear. Afterwards she retreated and Naruto was about to battle Kakashi head on.
'What does that dobe think he's doing?' Thought Sasuke.
'Naruto-Kun please be careful' Sakura inwardly preyed.
And Just like that Naruto battled Kakashi. Kakashi was surprised by Naruto's skills and was wondering just how much he would actually be able to teach him. Their one on one with pure taijutsu lasted half an hour (Yes Naruto and Kakashi did not use any other Jutsu except Taijutsu) and Naruto finally made a sign and told Kakashi
"This is nothing like Hokage Jiji, Kage Bunshin No Jutsu!" Then ten other Narutos appeared. Kakashi smirked and made his own handsign
"Kage Bunshin No Jutsu!" Kakashi too called out. After both called out the Jutsu they started battling again and were speaking while doing so
"You're a lot better than Mizuki Sensei was though. But then again you are a Jonin so it makes perfect sense that I was able to beat him to near death" Naruto saud proudly.
This piked both Sasuke and Sakura's interest.
"Yeah I heard about that, but what did he do, I never found out?" Asked Kakashi.
"He tried tricking me into stealing scrolls from Homage Jiji. I knew he was faking so instead I told Iruka sensei to be on look out for him when I met him at the destination he told me to meet him at, the forrest. Basically, I beat him to near death and then Iruka Sensei came in and took him away to Hokage Jiji" Answered Naruto.
"I assume you know about the truth of The Kyuubi" said Kakashi.
"Yeah Hokage Jiji told me the truth at some point in time during my training" Said Naruto
After about another thirty minutes of not only Taijutsu, but Ninjustu, and Genjutsu both Naruto and Kakashi appeared exhausted. Then Naruto made a sign and Sakura came out of nowhere and took both bells from Kakashi.
"Well done, you two. So who are you gonna give that last bell to Sakura?" Asked Kakashi.
"Sasuke" and like that she handed it over to him.
'Hnn, I knew she still liked me' thought Sasuke.
"Well then its settled" and like that Naruto was tied to a stump.
But before Sasuke even took a bite from his food, he raised the tray to Naruto and said "Do you want some?" He asked.
"Just a bit, I'm still a little worn out from the fight" responded Naruto.
Kakashi appeared in a swirl of leaves and said
"I told you not to feed the one tied up but you did it anyways. So either stop feeding him or suffere the consequences, you pick"
Sasuke said "We'll take the consequences"
Kakashi looked at them all and said "You passed."
Sasuke and Sakura were shocked whilst Naruto merely smirked it off. 'I knew this was the case, but I was hoping Sasuke ate before giving some to me simply out of empathy.'
Kakashi then explained "Yes, yes, I know, I gave you an order. But you must hear this. Those who go against the rules are regarded as scum, but those who would abandon even one of their friends are even worse than scum."
Sakura then cut off the rope around Naruto and said "You're plan worked out perfectly, I'll admit I was a bit hesitant about giving the second bell to Sasuke but you were right." Sakura then gave Naruto another tight hug around the neck. suffocating him again.
'So that was why she gave it to Sasuke/Me?' thought Kakashi and Sasuke.
"Anyways, come back here tomorrow for your first mission." Announced Kakashi before disapearing in a swirl of leaves.
Naruto separated himself from Sakura's grasp and said "See you tomorrow guys!" Before he too disappeared in a swirl of leaves.
(The Next Day)
Team 7 arrived at the Hokage's office for their first mission. "Alright Jiji what mission do you have for us?" asked Naruto.
"You know, I probably shouldn't do this but, due to Naruto and Sasuke being very high level ninja I will give you a C rank mission."
"Alright what is Hokage-Sama" asked Kakashi.
"It's an escort mission, you will escort that man to the Land of Waves" he said while pointing at the old man standing by the door.
"These are the people that will be escorting me to the Land of Waves? Three kids but at least one Jonin" said the old man.
"Hey watch who you're talking to, and plus whatever your name is, this is the mission rank you asked for" said Naruto.
"He is right" said Kakashi.
"Nevertheless you three will be escorting Tazuna to the Land of Waves." All three nodded walked out of the room and the mission began.
(Somewhere)
The squad was walking down a Forrest when Naruto noticed something.
'Why is that puddle there when it hasn't rained in this country for a while? I better warn Sakura (He feels Kakashi and Sasuke already know but not Sakura) about this' thought Naruto. He then did just that by whispering it in her ear.
Suddenly it became foggy and everyone except Tazuna brought out their Kunai. Kakashi stepped forward, closed his right eye, and lifted up his headband to reveal his Sharingan. "Come on out, I know your over there!" yelled Kakashi.
'He has a Sharingan?' Thought Sasuke, Naruto, and Sakura.
"Well, Well, Well if it isn't Kakashi The Copy Ninja" said the figure creeping in from the shadows.
"Zabuza Momochi, one of The Seven Swordsman of the Mist" called out Kakashi.
And without any further delay the two clashed. During their battle, Kakashi repeatedly told his team to stay back and help Tazuna get to his destination. Only to receive a head shake from Naruto as well as Naruto repeatedly telling him that he will never leave a comrade behind.
Kakashi turned to Zabuza and yelled out "Katon: Gōkakyū no Jutsu!"
Only for Zabuza to disappear and then reappear in the back of Kakashi. And with only a few handsigns Zabuza called out "Ugoku Suirō no Jutsu" this action ended up trapping Kakashi in a water sphere.
Kakashi tried telling the others to run again but Naruto stepped forward and battled Zabuza himself. His battle against Zabuza went almost the same as his with Kakashi, only difference is Zabuza didn't hold back. However with the help of Sasuke he was able to just barely defeat Zabuza simply due to overwhelming him. After Zabuza was defeated by Naruto and Sasuke, Kakashi was brought out of his prison and marched up to finish off Zabuza. However a hunter nin showed up just before he did and spoke up
"Thank you very much for your assistance but I will take it from here" said the masked hunter nin.
Naruto walked up to Kakashi and whispered in his ear "I don't trust him Kakashi Sensei." This earned him a nod of agreement from Kakashi. However, Kakashi replied with
"Well non of us can do anything about it now. Me, you, and Sasuke are way to tired to fight. And without either of us I feel if we put Sakura against a hunter nin one she will die." Naruto wanted to defend Sakura but, he knew that Kakashi was right.
'If only Hinata were here, she could've taken this guy down with all the training she has put in" thought Naruto.
Kakashi then turned to look at the hunter nin and told him "Ok, he's in your hands."
After this was all said and done they restarted their trek to the bridge and while they were Tazuna said
"My oh my. I Certainly doubted you guys big time" said Tazuna.
"Well now you know" said Naruto.
(Tazuna's House)
Team 7 made it to Tazuna's house and we're greeted by his daughter Tsunami. They all had dinner and that's when they meet Tazuna's grandson Inari.
"Why do you look so down kid?" Asked Naruto.
"Because my Grandpa is gonna get hurt" answered Inari.
"Kid..." started Naruto untill Inari cut him off.
"It's Inari" he said.
"Ok, fine whatever. Inari what I'm saying is you're acting as if we're not here for a reason" explained Naruto.
"Because you're not, Gato will kill you, just like he has everyone else" argued Inari.
Naruto sighed and said "There's a difference between a regular Human and Ninja Inari"
Inari just ran off into his room.
Naruto turned his head to Tsunami and asked her "What's his problem?"
"I'm terribly sorry about that Naruto, you see Inari is just going through a tough time" explained Tsunami.
"I would ask why, but its probably something you don't wanna talk about, isn't it?" Asked Naruto.
"No, I feel you should know" Tsunami then sat down and reluctantly continued on. "You see, a few years ago Inari's father was killed by Gato in front of the entire town. Everyone in this country that doesn't work for Gato tries to cheer him up though" she finished.
"Oh, that explains why he is so openly depressed" said Sakura.
"Well we should stop talking about this and start training" Kakashi chimed in. And so all three Genin went out side to train.
"So what are we doing Kakashi Sensei?" Asked Naruto
"Well, these two are gonna be learning to walk on a tree using chakra, I assume you already know this" Queried Kakashi.
"Oh please, I can run on water" said Naruto.
"Well then go to the Forrest and then I will teach something different. However you two must learn how to walk on a tree" said Kakashi. Sasuke and Sakura obeyed and got to work, whilst Naruto went to the front of the house.
Naruto arrived at the Forrest and was met by Kakashi shortly afterwards. "Well, what are you going to teach me Kakashi Sensei?" Naruto asked.
"Chakra Nature" Kakashi answered.
"Huh" Naruto said. "But I already know about the different forms of chakra."
"But do you know how to unleash it?" Kakashi countered.
"No" Naruto admitted defeated.
After Kakashi was done explaining Chakra Nature to Naruto and how to unleash it, he gave Naruto a piece of paper, told him to apply Chakra, and once he did, the paper split in half. "So you're wind?" Kakashi said while rubbing his chin.
"I guess so" Naruto said.
Kakashi gave Naruto a leaf and told him to try to repeat the process of splitting the leaf in half using only Chakra. He then saw that since Naruto was having a bit of trouble with it that he should give him some advice. "Hey Naruto, you might wanna use that Kage Bunshin No Jutsu, in order to speed up the time of completing the task."
"Oh right, I totally forgot about that!"
"Wow, just how much did Hokage-Sama teach you?" Kakashi asked.
"He taught me a bunch of ninjutsu, a bit of Genjutsu, and a lot more Taijutsu" answered Naruto.
"Well just get to work on this and let me know when you manage" Kakashi told him.
"Right!" Naruto said. "Kage Bunshin No Jutsu!" he yelled out and then twenty other Naruto's appeared.
(The Next Day)
Naruto was worn out after training for the entire day yesterday and was essentially knocked out cold. Then a young girl came out from the woods of the Forrest and spotted Naruto.
'Is this one of the three kids from the leaf?' Thought the girl before bringing out a Kunai.
The girl then stabbed Naruto, but failed to notice that it was just a clone and the real one was right behind her holding a Kunai by her throat. Naruto then spoke up
"What's your business here?" Naruto asked.
"I could ask you the same thing" replied the girl.
"Are you in disguise or are you really a girl?" Asked Naruto.
"Okay you got me there, I'm a boy" answered the boy.
Naruto released his hold on the boy and told him "Well whatever business you have I sure hope it's not getting in my way (He's trying to cover his team)."
"No it's not. I simply came to this country to witness the bridge being built. But then seeing you here I thought I could be in danger seeing as though you have a leaf headband if I didn't act fast" lied the boy.
"Fine, but just stay out of my way" said Naruto. 'I really hope that I can protect my team should this Ninja or that Zabuza guy attack again. Either way, I'm gonna have to train a lot harder if I'm gonna protect not only my team but Hinata as well' thought Naruto' thought Naruto.
"Fine but just don't lose yourself over this meeting. I know that you have teammates, what Genin wouldn't?" Asked the boy. "Because if you lose yourself, they wont have anyone to protect them. It's not the training itself that makes you stronger, its the desire to protect someone close to you that does."
"I know, my Jiji told me that a while ago (The protecting part not the losing yourself part). But thanks anyway" said Naruto.
"It's fine" said the boy before leaving.
Naruto decided to lay down and take a rest before finding the rest of his team.
(Hours Later)
The three remaining members of Team 7 all made their way to the bridge without Naruto.
"Where is that dobe Kakashi Sensei?" said Sasuke.
"Shut Up! The next time you call Naruto-Kun that, I'm gonna punch you!" yelled Sakura.
"Wow, you sure are more infatuated with Naruto than I thought Sakura" said Kakashi.
Sakura immediately blushed and said in a shy voice "He's my best friend, I won't tolerate him being so disrespected by anyone, especially you Sasuke."
"I think even you know that you want to be more than friends with Naruto, Sakura" said Kakashi while giving his eyesmile.
"Is it that obvious?" Asked Sakura.
"I'm surprised you haven't been fangirling over him like you have me years ago" said Sasuke.
"Because I feel I actually have a chance with him. And he told me the second time we talked that he doesn't like fangirls. So while I do wanna release that habit so badly, I can't out if fear of losing my chances to be with him" Explained Sakura.
"Do you know if anyone else likes Naruto?" Asked Kakashi.
"Yeah"
"Well who"
"Hinata" she answered.
"So he somehow managed to make both of his female and only friends feel love towards him" said Kakashi.
A silent nod was all they received and it was more than enough.
"But the thing is he seems to be into Hinata in a romantic sense whilst only seeing me as his friend. It kills me to see that" said Sakura.
"How is that" asked Kakashi.
"When we were still in the Academy he would always look at her, blush whenever she said his name, and would never hesitate to defend her. All except the last part was true for Hinata as well (Naruto was too strong for Academy kids to pick on)." She explained.
"Well then if that's the case, then I would suggest showing him your qualities before he gathers up the courage to confess to Hinata" advised Kakashi.
"You're right Kakashi Sensei, I'm gonna do it right now. Can you guys hold this down alone?" She asked them.
"Of course" said Kakashi.
"Thank you" she said before running off into the direction of Tazuna's house. But before she could get too far mist appeared
"I'm sorry, but you're not going anywhere. Right Haku" said Zabuza.
"Zabuza Momochi. Sakura you're gonna have to scratch that and help us protect Tazuna" advised Kakashi.
(With Naruto)
Naruto finally woke up and decided to go back to Tazuna's house. Once he arrived however, he saw five grown men outside of the house carrying Tsunami and Inari out.
"Hey!" Naruto yelled.
The five grown men turned and one said "Get lost kid, we're gonna teach these two a lesson for trying to stand up to us. Especially the woman" one of the men said while licking his lips.
Naruto was seething angry and brought his hand up into a sign and yelled out "Kage Bunshin No Jutsu!" Immediately fifteen Narutos appeared with the original and beat all five men to death. Afterwards Naruto helped both Inari and Tsunami get on their feet and when he saw how scared they were he told them what he did.
After Naruto told them what happened, he turned around to leave, however before he could Inari looked at him and asked him "Where are you going?"
"To help my friends, if you guys were in trouble then they should be too" reasoned Naruto.
"But what if Gato is there?" Inari asked.
"Then I'll kill him just like I did these five men. Remember this, as long as you have something worth fighting for, you won't lose" Answered Naruto confidently, and then Naruto ran over to the direction of his team.
(The Bridge)
Naruto arrived and was greeted with Sasuke fighting against the Hunter Nin that they ran into after they beat Zabuza the first time, whilst Kakashi was fighting Zabuza himself. Naruto decided that he should help Sasuke first since he seemed to be in a stalemate against said Hunter Nin. So he ran forward, pulled out two Kunai, and yelled out
"Sasuke, duck!"
Sasuke did just that but so did Haku.
"Way to jump in dobe" said Sasuke.
"Anytime teme" replied Naruto.
'Since it's two on one and that boy is definitely stronger than the one I've already been fighting, it's time.' thought Haku. He then made his hand signs and yelled out
"Makyō Hyōshō!" And then multiple Ice mirrors surrounded both Naruto and Sasuke. And Senbon started falling down on them.
While running from the Senbon Sasuke said " These mirrors are just ice, so I'm melting them." he then yelled out "Goukakyuu No Jutsu!"
After seeing the ice still infect Naruto yelled out "Let me try! Katon: Karyu Endan!" This action actually succeeded in melting all the ice mirrors, and injured Haku severely, but due to the fact Naruto still hasn't fully recovered from the fatigue of splitting a leaf with chakra, using u dreds of clones, so he was exhausted. "Sasuke it's all up to you now, I think I weakened him enough."Naruto was able to say before falling in a deep sleep. Sasuke looked at Naruto then yelled out
"Right!" Then Sasuke closed his eyes and then reopened them showing off his Sharingan. "I've got this!" and true to his word Sasuke did. He had the edge on every category due to Haku's condition. and was able to kill him after just a few Kunai stabs, but then collapsed, exhausted from his initial fight with Haku and then the use of his Sharingan.
Similarly on the other side of the bridge Kakashi just got done stabbing Zabuza through the heart with a Chidori.
As soon as Zabuza was killed, Sakura ran over to Naruto, got down on her knees, and put his head on her lap. She began brushing through his hair with her hand untill he woke up.
Kakashi grabbed and carried Sasuke over his shoulder al the way to Naruto. he set him down and thats when Sasuke woke up as well.
"Nice work dobe" Sasuke barely let out.
Sakura was about to yell at Sasuke but Naruto grabbed her palm, shook his head, then turned to Sasuke and said "You too teme."
They then bumped fists and helped each other up. But once they were fully up they saw Gato and all his goons all lining up and staring them down.
"Well are you guys up for a bit more?" Asked Naruto. "Because I am."
"AND SO ARE WE!" Yelled out Inari. Surrounding Inari were all of the townspeople, ready to fight.
"Well let me chip in, Kage Bunshin No Jutsu!" yelled out Naruto.
"I guess I have enough strength for a bit more, Kage Bunshin No Jutsu!" Kakashi yelled out.
Gato and his men were all scared out of their minds and some even soiled themselves mainly Gato. and before they could register anything Naruto, Kakashi, and the townspeople attacked and brutally beat them all. However, Gato was beaten the worse and was eventually killed by Kakashi (Kakashi slit Gato's throat). Everyone else survived and managed to flee the scene via boat.
After the fight was ove Team 7 made their way back to Tazuna's house, where they spent one more day in untill leaving. When they did pack up to leave they approached the bridge and waved goodbye to everyone there after hearing that the name of the bridge would be called 'The Great Naruto Bridge.'
