Tried to get this up earlier, but #life. Anyhow, it was seriesaddictF birthday yesterday and the fandom was stressed this weekend after another episode of "Can't We Just Talk?" Starring Mr. & Mrs. Sweep it under the rug. So I thought we needed joy. Here is my sporadic one shot as a contribution to our collective happiness. This story has virtually no plot other than Robert rescuing a kitten, a jealous Andy and shower sex #yourewelcome — probably my shortest update ever. XO, Reddixon
"Sullivan you're up!" Maya yelled. She knew he would hate it, but they had rules about this kind of thing.
"Awww, Cap, no." Robert replied as he dropped his hose. His response was more rhetorical than actually resisting. He knew the unspoken rules.
"Sorry, Probie. New guys are on kitten duty." Maya shrugged her shoulders and walked away. The rest of the team was still on hoses, tackling the last bits of the actual fire in a building of condos.
With that, Robert shook his head in annoyance and headed in the direction of the large tree at the edge of the Seattle property. He made his way up the engine ladder already in place and spotted the kitten in question. It was small, white and fluffy. A cute little thing if you were into cats. He wasn't. He was definitely more of a dog person. "Here kitty, kitty..." He heard himself say. Cringing a little as the words came out of his mouth and he reached in the animal's direction. The kitten sniffed his large outstretched hands and eventually after a bit more coaxing, deemed him safe. With the small kitten tucked carefully into one arm, he began his descent down the ladder.
Robert had barely made it to the bottom when a petite form crashed into him. "Oscar," the woman yelped as she scooped up the kitten from his arms and began scolding him immediately. "I can't believe you would scare me like that." Dressed in a thin pale pink robe and slippers, she petted the top of the kitten's head and snuggled him softly before looking up and making eye contact with the stunning specimen in front of her. "Thank you so much! Ugh...he drives me nuts, but I love him."
"No worries, Ma'am. We're here to serve." Robert said with a toothy smile.
The woman was clearly admiring the man in front of her. Attractive, piercing brown eyes, muscular and tall...she was instantly swooning. She tilted her face upward to get a better look. "You're tall..." The woman said as she tried to regain her composure, clearly being taken aback by Robert's looks.
"It makes buying pants difficult." Robert joked with a grin. "Are you okay... Have you been checked out?" He saw the soot on her cheek and robe.
She was pretty sure her heart had skipped a beat as he spoke and it was impossible not to stare. "Oh, I'm fine... and it's Stacy." The woman replied with a smile, continuing to stroke her kitten.
Robert wasn't naive or oblivious and he could see her attempts at flirting. He only had eyes for his wife, but that didn't make him unaware of someone showing interest. "Glad to hear it Stacy. You..." He did his best to wrap up the conversation but was interrupted.
"If a grateful citizen wanted to buy you dinner as a thank you for rescuing her naughty kitten, how would she go about that?" Stacy asked with a flirtatious, unabashed smile.
"While I appreciate the offer, Stacy, I..." Robert tried to finish but again found himself interrupted.
"He's married." Andy interjected looking at the woman with eyes that were anything but warm. She took in the sight of the woman in front of her. She was gorgeous...petite frame, wavy brunette locks, deep hazel eyes and a smile she couldn't help dolling out to Robert. "Very, very married." She added emphasis and gave her a death glare.
Andy and the rest of the team had dropped their hoses after getting the last of the fire out and she noticed the body language of the small brunette talking to her husband. She was unapologetically flirting. Heat flushed through her entire body and it wasn't from the work they'd just done to put the fire out. This woman was openly showing interest in her husband and he hadn't yet turned her away. Without even thinking she made her way over and interjected.
Realizing she had stepped in it, Stacy stumbled with her words, but finally squeaked something out. "Oh, gosh. I'm so sorry...I didn't mean..." She was flustered as she gathered herself quickly and turned off the sultry vibes. "I should go. Thanks again."
"It's all good," Robert said coolly with a small smile. "Take care of yourself, Stacy." With that she headed back in the direction of what used to be her condo building. Robert couldn't help the grin that took over his face as he looked over at his wife. With fire and disbelief washing over her, she pinned him with her gaze.
"Stacy?" Andy said incredulously. Rolling her eyes sharply, she headed back towards the engine.
"What can I say?" Robert said rhetorically as he followed slowly behind her. "I'm a catch." The fire was out and they'd be headed back towards the station house momentarily. He couldn't help the small amount of joy that flooded him as he realized just exactly what he'd seen. His badass, ridiculously confident and sure of herself wife, was jealous. When he made it to the engine, he landed in the probie with a smile, for probably the first time ever.
Seeing him plop down, Andy looked up and said one word. "Seriously?" She didn't even try to hide her feelings. She sat back and wondered just how long he would have chatted it up with "Stacy", if she hadn't come over.
Oh, yeah she wasn't happy. Robert figured he probably should play nice, but who knew when this opportunity would arise again. He was quiet for a moment before speaking. "You know..." he said, without looking in her direction. "...it would be much easier to tell that I'm taken, if we actually WORE our wedding rings."
Andy said nothing only shook her head. She wasn't a jealous woman, she trusted her husband, but that interaction had gotten under her skin. He was smiling, really smiling, at this tiny little thing wearing nothing but a bathrobe, who was looking at him like he hung the moon. Okay, sure he'd rescued her cat. Who cares. She wasn't used to this feeling and it made her massively uncomfortable, but everything in her screamed. Mine. Robert was hers and she wouldn't hesitate to put anyone in their place who crossed that line.
They got back to the station house. Restocked the rigs, made spaghetti and meatballs for dinner and ate as a group. The night was filled with jokes and banter, but Andy appeared semi present and more lost in thought than engaged in the conversation. She had tried to squash the jealousy and overwhelming possessiveness that radiated within her, but it was a lost cause. A couple hours later, after most of the crew had turned in, she found herself slipping into the shower room, locking the door and sliding the shower curtain open on her husband.
"What are you doing here?" Robert asked with shock and surprise all over his face. Andy said nothing only dropped her towel and launched her assault, pulling his lips down to hers. Robert's hands found her waist instantly and he couldn't resist returning her kiss. Heated, smooth, glorious skin collided with him and though he knew it was risky, he didn't want to go anywhere.
"This is against the rules." he said between kisses, making a futile attempt to stop what he knew was inevitable.
"Yup." Was Andy's only response. They were past the point of no return. She would have him and she would have him now. The rules be damned. She'd spent hours that evening trying to cool her jets, but she knew there was only one thing that would do the trick.
"Someone could come in..." Robert again tried to reason.
"I locked the door." Andy said and continued to trail hot, open mouth kisses across his chest and neck. Every cell in her being, every fiber, wanted to stake her claim. He was hers.
"We could get a..." he didn't even get to finish his statement before her lips crashed into his again. She knew they could get a call and right now, at this moment she didn't care. The need to brand him, remind him who he belonged to was too great.
Andy pushed him against the cool shower tile and whispered gruffly, "You're mine. Mine." She pressed firmly against him and kissed him hard for emphasis. "Now, are you gonna keep asking me questions or..."
Unable to hold back any longer, it was Robert's turn to shut her up with kisses. He lifted Andy into his arms, turned her around and held her against the shower wall. He kissed her deeply until she was breathless. She moaned against his lips as his tongue thrust forward and retreated. His kisses were frenzied, forceful and exactly the response Andy expected to garner when she surprised him. She wrapped her arms tightly around his neck and held on for dear life. To some degree, she knew she'd been a little ridiculous, but the need to make a statement overpowered her common sense.
Andy felt Robert's oversized length awaken and her mouth watered knowing it wouldn't be long before he filled her. She reached between their slick bodies, stroked him and soon he was enveloped into her warmth. A sigh of sweet relief, escaped her, as all the pent up energy from the afternoon began evaporating. She pulled away from their kisses and held her husband's gaze. "Say your mine," she instructed. Her eyes were dark, stormy and intense.
With each stroke Robert whispered into the crook of her neck, "I'm yours." He'd teased her a little today, stoked the fire, but they both knew the truth. He was ridiculously, unapologetically in love with his wife. She owned him. She was everything.
"Oh Robert," Andy breathed at each admission. Every nerve ending in her body stood at attention ready to be overtaken by the pleasure coasting through her. Her release was near. She tightened her legs around Robert's waist and slipped a hand to his ass, pulling him deeper.
With one arm wrapped tightly around Andy's middle and the other bracing against the wall, Robert picked up the pace. He took her with some magical combination of primal need and raw possessiveness. Yes, he was hers, but she was his too. He surged forward, dominating her with each stroke. He felt Andy's muscles tighten and release around him driving his crazy desire even higher. "Andy..." he said barely audibly, his words nearly lost on him.
Andy gasped in desperation as the tight knit ball of tension unfurled in her stomach. Every bit of firey passion from the day boiled over into this moment. Their embrace was fierce and urgent, like they were both saying the same thing to one another. Their quiet moans intermingled and their bodies whispered to one another, mine.
Andy felt desperate to alleviate the need tearing her apart. Her heart was beating wildly out of her chest and she felt like she would explode if she didn't come soon. She took in the sight of her husband, his chiseled jawline, eyes murky with passion. She felt every determined thrust and knew his one mission was to send them both over the cliff of pleasure. That was her undoing. "Yes..." she yelled feeling her orgasm rip through her body. Her fingers dug deep into his shoulders needing something to hold onto. Robert covered her mouth with his and swallowed her screams. She never could be quiet. He buried himself into her one final time, before his own release exploded through him, ripples of pleasure cascading over him.
Robert held his wife closely for a few moments, pressed into the wall and gave them both time to catch their breath. Andy slid down her husband's slick body and felt Robert's strength as he supported her trembling limbs. When they were both able, they slipped under the lukewarm stream and rinsed off in silence.
Andy slipped out of the shower just as quickly as she appeared. Grabbing her towel, she flashed him a shit eating grin and said, "You're mine. Don't you forget it."
Speechless, Robert shook his head with a slight grin. She never ceased to amaze him. After finishing and drying off, he wrapped his towel around his waist and headed towards the lockers, nearly running into Travis.
"Sorry..." Travis said awkwardly as he almost collided with Sullivan's bare chest. "Was Herrera just..." He said unconsciously, his mind was quickly putting together the pieces of what he'd just seen. Andy had just left the showers moments before. He looked up at Robert who's face revealed nothing and basically dared him to continue. "Oh, god...I don't want to know." With slightly pink cheeks, he headed back to his bunk scathing himself for not taking a shower earlier and getting caught up with Vic in the barn. He would forever be scarred for what he was sure he just witnessed. Robert and Andy had sex in the station showers.
