For Moo - who inspired the story idea and because it's been a tough week. Hope this helps :)

"Joe," Andy yelled towards the bar as she approached. "We'll have another round." She leaned into the wooden ledge and gave him a small smile that didn't reach her eyes.

As Joe rounded up the beers he said, "I know that look."

"What look?" Andy questioned with genuine curiosity.

"The one that says, you'd rather be anywhere but here." Joe replied plainly.

"That obvious, huh?" Andy joked. She hadn't been in the best of moods lately. The separation with Robert was killing her. She missed her husband. It was crazy how someone so used to living life free and independent now longed for quiet days at home with her person. More than just about anything, she missed the small moments like waking up together, getting ready for work in the morning together, late night talks in bed, cooking together… They were building a life, a future and all of that was on hold right now.

"Just a little." Joe smiles. "You wanna tell me what's on your mind?"

"It's complicated..." Andy sighed as he placed several beers in front of her.

"Isn't it always?" Joe joked.

Andy wasn't up for talking as friendly as Joe was. She really just wanted to keep her commitment to the team, stay an hour or so and go home. At least she wasn't still staying at the station and was back in the guest room at Maya's. "I'm alright," She said, grateful for his efforts.

"Well, if you change your mind, I'm a great listener." Joe said with a genuine smile. Andy gave him a smile before heading back to the table. She was handing out beers to the table when her eyes were drawn to commotion at the door and a big group of guys walked in. "New guy, first rounds on you." She heard someone yell, but that isn't what got her attention. It was him. The man invading every waking thought was standing right in front of her. He was dressed in dark jeans and a black button down rolled up to his forearms.

Like heat seeking missiles, their eyes found each other and they held one another's gaze. She dressed in jeans and a light sweater. Her hair hung in loose waves around her face. The guys, curious about their newest team member, observed the interaction and Brad, leader of the pack, clapped Robert's back and said, "She's hot, you should get her number. Or better yet, maybe I will." Robert gave him a dirty look but said nothing and walked in Andy's direction.

Her feet moving on their own, Andy met Robert halfway and it took everything in her not to grab him. Smiling softly she said, "Hey."

Robert breathed deeply as he took in the sight of his wife. Seeing her felt like coming up for air. "Hey," he said.

"What are you..." Andy couldn't get the words all the way out before Robert answered.

"Forced fun..." He replied with a slight groan.

Grinning a little, Andy looked up at him. "I know how much you love that." She couldn't help the slight graze of his waistband. Being this close and not touching him was nearly impossible. "You look good." She added. They'd been texting, talking on the phone, even FaceTiming sometimes but hadn't seen each other in person in weeks.

"You are...a sight for sore eyes." Robert said softly. There were so many things he wanted to say. His hand found her fingertips and he leaned down slightly, breathing in the scent of her. When he looked back up, Robert noticed most of the A shift looking in their direction. Dropping Andy's hand, he lifted his own in a casual wave to the group.

She wanted more time, but knew she wasn't going to get it. "We have an audience don't we?" Andy asked with mild frustration in her voice. Her back was to the table, but she could feel the sets of eyes on them.

"Yup." Robert and Andy exchanged longing glances for another moment. The exhaustion he felt from their being a part was matched by the tiredness he saw in her eyes. "Have fun okay." He said.

"You too," Andy smiled gently knowing this wasn't at all his idea of a good time. "Text me when you get home."

"Yeah." Robert replied as the two separated and went back to their respective groups.

Robert headed back over to the group of guys he was now working with and mentally began counting down until his departure time. He figured he'd stay an hour or so then make his escape. They were nice guys, but he wasn't really interested in making friends.

"She's a looker, " Brad said to Robert. Brad wasn't Robert's direct supervisor, but Robert knew how to play the game and being on Brad's good side wasn't a bad thing. He was one of the most experienced members on the team and was often the one calling the shots if the boss wasn't around.

Robert breathed deeply as he sipped the club soda Joe, the bartender, sat down in front of him. "She's taken." He said to Brad and hoped that would cut the chatter...this was the second comment, but he continued.

"So what's up with you two?" Brad inquired as he drank his beer. He liked Robert despite his chilly demeanor. He was a model employee - clearly short timing it, but good for now.

"It's complicated," Robert said plainly. He had no intention of giving these people any info on his personal life. When Brad held his gaze, he added nothing. He would make small talk about a lot of other things, but divulging details on his wife, their separation, his relationship status in general were definitely not on the list.

"Complicated, huh..." Brad said admiring Andy's form from across the room. Robert saw the look of appreciation on his co-workers face and his annoyance grew. He wasn't the jealous type and he knew Brad was probably just trying to be friendly, but he couldn't help the strong desire he had to deck him. Robert was in impeccable shape and sparred regularly. He was sure one punch would be enough.

Across the bar...

Jack, Ben and Dean were up shooting darts when Andy made it back to the table. As she sat down Vic piped up. "Sullivan's not usually a group activity type," she said as Andy took a swig of her beer.

Andy rolled her eyes a bit thinking of how miserable he must be. "Team building." She said with air quotes.

"How's the new gig?" Travis asked a bit reluctantly.

"Fine, I guess..." Andy said with a bit of a shrug. "He's bored out of his mind, doing things he knows how to do in his sleep and protecting private property, but it would be worse if he was at home all day everyday. At least this keeps him busy."

"Yeah..." Maya chimed in. "That's gotta be rough and it's still another two weeks before he goes before the Fire Commission."

The frustration was evident on Andy's face. "Yeah, I just hope when he does..." her voice trailed off and she didn't finish the thought. They were all pulling for him. "Ugh... and on that depressing note, it's time for some shots."

It was about an hour later, Andy had a good buzz going and Robert was watching her like a hawk from across the bar. Her and the girls were up shooting darts now. She was smiling, laughing and seemed to be having a good time which Robert was thankful for. This was hard on him, but her whole world had been blown up in the past few months. Ryan, her dad, her mom's crazy return and now the separation... She didn't have to say she was struggling for him to know that she was. Everything in him wanted to protect her, take care of her and he wasn't able to do that right now. Daily it ate away at him.

He was pulled from his thoughts as he heard someone call her name. It was a male voice he didn't recognize. Robert turned and was greeted by the sight of a tall, muscular, olive skinned man, grinning shamelessly at his wife. He swore inwardly and felt his night getting longer.

"Omg, Adam? Is that you?" Andy ran over and hugged the unfamiliar man. "What are you doing in Seattle?"

"I'm a doctor now, consulting on a case at Grey Sloan." Adam replied back coolly as they made eye contact.

"Why am I not surprised that the guy who saved me from the horrors of dissecting frogs in biology is now a doctor?" Andy laughed a bit and her hand patted his arm in an innocent way.

"Yeah...apparently being a nerd in high school pays off pretty well later." Adam joked, smiling brightly at the beautiful woman he'd had a major crush on in high school.

Andy couldn't help but acknowledge how the man in front of her had changed. Her nerdy biology classmate from 9th grade who she knew had a thing for her, grew up to be hot AF. "You weren't a..." Andy tried to squeak out unsuccessfully.

"Don't... don't lie." Adam said with a laugh. "That skinny body, coke bottle glasses, braces and wool sweaters. It's no wonder you never returned my affections."

"Adam..." Andy swallowed and breathed deeply. Was he flirting with her or was it the whiskey? She wasn't sure. "Well, come on. Get a drink and I'll introduce you to my friends." As she watched Adam walk toward the bar, she couldn't help but catch Robert's eye. His expression was something she couldn't say she's seen before... She gave him a weak smile and turned back toward the group.

Andy and Adam spent a good chunk of time chatting it up with 19 and enjoying each other's company. It turns out he was a cardio thoracic surgeon, pioneering some special technology and consulting with Dr. Maggie Pierce. He'd graduated college and Med School early, but his focus on work had left him without a significant other. Inquiring about Andy, she told him about how she was in a committed relationship with a man she loved and he had a work thing tonight so he wasn't with her. She could have gone into the details, but had no intention of divulging all the ins and outs of her situation with Robert to someone she very well may not see again...even if he was an old friend from high school. For Andy it was a nice distraction, but she couldn't help wondering what Robert was thinking.

Heading over to the bar for another drink, Andy felt him before she heard him. Electric jolts shot up her spine at his touch. She was waiting for Joe to set her whiskey down in front of her and his front pressed into her back. His whisper in her ear, sent a chill through her body. "Who's the guy?" Robert asked.

Coyly, Andy replied without turning around. "Just a friend from high school."

"Just a friend..." Robert repeated doing his best to mask any bad feeling he felt on the inside. He'd spent the last hour or so watching Andy and this man smile and laugh together...okay, that may have been a slight exaggeration. They were with the group not holed up in some two seater table, but it was clear Adam was interested in Andy. He could read body language pretty well. He also knew that while Andy wasn't drunk by any means, she definitely had a good buzz going. He didn't like it. He didn't like it at all. And if he was being honest, he didn't like her showing this guy any attention at all. He was fairly certain, if they hadn't been separated nearly six weeks, this wouldn't even be a blip on his radar, but unfortunately that wasn't the case.

Something in his voice got her attention and Andy turned to face her husband. Looking at him she saw a look in his eyes that she couldn't quite place. "You have nothing to worry about." She said with a smile.

"Why would I be worried...you're mine." Robert said matter of factly. He played it cool, but to himself he could admit how much the whole damn night was grating on his last nerve. He trusted his wife implicitly, but Adam he didn't know and sure as hell didn't trust.

Andy couldn't help the grin that formed on her lips as she eyed her husband. He'd never staked his claim before. He'd never had to...she'd always be his, but it was nice to know an attractive man paying her some attention got under his skin. Tilting her head up towards him she asked, "Robert Sullivan are you jealous?" Mischief danced in her eyes.

Robert's heated eyes drilled into Andy's as he spoke. "No, but it can't hurt if you spend the rest of the night thinking about..." He grabbed Andy's waist gently and pulled her small frame into his before leaning in to whisper something in her ear.

The heat of his breath brushed against her neck, that mixed with his words, sent a rush of desire to her core. His voice was practically liquid sex and she was forced to grab onto his bicep, to steel her resolve. To say she wanted him would have been the understatement of the year. Her body craved his in a way that was unreal..it had been nearly six weeks of separation. "You're such a tease," Andy flirted.

"It's only teasing if I don't deliver." Robert replied, his lips curving into a small smile as he saw the effect he was hoping for. Her eyes were on fire and her skin flushed just slightly. "You know I always give you what you want."

Andy was certain the temperature had increased at least 10 degrees between them. It would take nothing for her to walk out of here with him right now, but she wanted to support him and respect their boundaries. Taking a deep breath, she shook her head and decided if she had to spend the rest of the night thinking about the sexy image he'd put in her head, he should have to as well. "Guess I'll be thinking about that later tonight...naked...in bed...alone." She gave him one last look letting him know exactly what she would be doing, before grabbing the drink that had finally been sat down for her and sashaying away.

A few hours later...

"For someone taken, she looks very...available..." Brad mentioned casually to Robert as they both watched Andy leave the group and walk towards the back hall. Brad had been observing the man all night and despite some light conversation with the guys, Robert's focus remained largely on the woman across the room.

For Robert, the night had been made even more annoying by the fact that he was painfully sober. With NA, alcohol wasn't totally off the table, but as he focused on getting to 90 days clean and rehabbing his leg, he wanted a clear head. That wasn't helping tonight when the dull ache of missing his wife was getting louder and louder by the moment and his desire to walk her right out the front door, home, to bed was nearly overwhelming. He'd watched Adam be more friendly than he needed to be and it pierced him to his core, not to be able to do anything about it. Deciding he'd had enough, Robert took one last drink of the club soda in front of him, barely acknowledged Brad and headed in the direction he'd just seen Andy go.

Walking down the short dark hallway, Robert caught Andy coming out of the bathroom and in one fell swoop, pulled her into what appeared to be a supply closet.

"Robert," Andy asked with a shocked expression on her face. "What are you..." She tried to get out.

Cutting her off, Robert pulled her into a searing, possessive kiss. His body pressed into her, his hands cupped her cheeks and his mouth dominated hers. Pushing his tongue past her lips, he tasted her and a hint of the whiskey she'd drunk earlier in the night. Robert hadn't had anything to drink, but quickly felt intoxicated. Again and again he claimed her. He felt Andy tilt her head upwards and the pressure of her hands on his arms got tighter, the deeper he kissed. When Robert's hands dropped to her ass, Andy's circled around his neck and he pulled her core flush against his growing erection.

She couldn't think of anything but the taste, touch and scent of the man overtaking her senses. Andy was breathless, mindless with pleasure as he both took what he wanted and gave her everything she needed. As soon as Robert walked through the door of that bar, her nerves had been shot. She'd felt his eyes boring a hole into her for most of the night and it had done nothing to ease the ache of them not being together. The more he kissed, the more her body vibrated with need. She was completely lost in his sexy, demanding embrace.

Trailing kisses down the column of Andy's neck, Robert grew frustrated at the limited access her v-neck sweater offered. He found the hem of her thin burgundy sweater and pulled up exposing her flushed, delicate skin. Dropping her sweater to the ground, he heard a desperate moan tumble from her lips and continued his assault. Robert's hands came up to cup her breasts and squeezed gently sending shockwaves through his wife. Pulling the soft fabric of Andy's bra down, his mouth closed over the hard nipple of one of her breasts and her back arched involuntarily as she opened to him. He teased one with his mouth, the other with his fingers, switching back and forth until Andy was so taken by the feeling coursing through her, she nearly lost her footing. "Robert... please." Eyes closed, she whimpered, barely recognizing her own voice.

"Relax," he chuckled. "I'm going to get you there." At this point Robert knew there was no turning back. He'd pushed in the lock on the store room door and just hoped they wouldn't be interrupted.

Andy's body was on fire, her center flooded with heat and clenched with need. Blurry and unfocused, she opened her eyes and caught her husband's gaze. His expression didn't disappoint her. Looking up she saw equal parts love and lust. He was equally as turned on as she was, his eyes lit up with delight, a mischievous grin dancing across his lips. Andy reached for the buttons of his shirt and pressed a kiss to each new section of uncovered skin. She heard him sigh in sweet relief as her hot mouth cascaded across his chest and upper abs.

Adrenaline pumped through Robert's body as his anticipation grew. Pulling Andy into yet another deliciously satisfying kiss, his hands found the top of her jeans. First the button, then the zipper...He felt Andy's hands mimic his own. Belt. Button. Zipper. Giving the skin just under her ear a gentle bite, gruffly he instructed, "Turn around."

Doing as she was told, Andy turned to face the shelved walls in the tiny closet they found themselves in. Hooking her own hands through the waist of her jeans and black panties, she bit her lower lip and leaned forward. Robert's body curled around Andy's, one of his hands coasted down her side and slid between her folds. He found nothing but liquid warmth and a swollen bud. At his first pass, Andy gasped. "Yes." Time and distance flitted in the rearview mirror. Weeks of longing catching up with them. "Oh, God," she breathed. Stroking her wetness, Robert buried one long slender finger into her tight channel, then another.

Andy's hips moved of their own volition, as she gripped the edge of the shelf, moans of pleasure echoed against the walls. Robert knew her body, he could feel the tremors and slight contractions around him. Her body was humming with unreleased tension and her orgasm was quickly approaching. "Come for me." He said, continuing long deep strokes. His touch was hard, hot and unrelenting. Sliding his free hand up, he rolled a nipple between two fingers and pushed her towards her climax.

Overwhelmed by the sensations Robert was creating in her body Andy felt her orgasm barreling towards her. She tried at first to hold out, but it was futile. Giving herself permission to let go, she surrendered to a cascade of pleasure. Slapping a hand over her mouth, to muffle the sounds pouring out of her, Andy thought she'd ride out her release, but Robert had other ideas.

"Jesus, Andy," he growled as he entered her from behind. Holding onto her hips, he moved forward and set a determined pace. Swirls of charged sexual energy permeated the air and with each thrust of his hips, Robert sent Andy higher and higher. With each stroke, he went deeper and pressure coiled tightly at the base of his spine. He took her with a primal need and with each invasion, his desire to brand her, remind her that she belonged to him grew stronger. "You're mine," his breathy voice rumbled against Andy's ear.

Even all consumed with the sensations flowing through her, Andy couldn't mask the grin on her face. She knew exactly why Robert felt the need to remind her of that at this moment. And the truth was she liked it. She tilted her head up and to the side, pulled Robert's face down to hers and captured his lips in a kiss. His pace slowed as she whispered, "I'm yours."

"Say it again," Robert instructed as he deepened his strokes, one mission in mind. In this moment, he was lost to everything but his senses. He reveled in her admission and the feeling of being inside her again after so much time. With each tightening of Andy's inner muscles he felt himself being called closer and closer to his release.

"I'm yours," Andy chanted as Robert increased his pace. She panted as he moved within her desperately. Carnal passion building, she could feel her end near. Determined to bring Robert with her, she firmed her grip on the shelf in front of her, contracted her muscles and said, "Come with me." Every cell in her body pulsed with wave after wave of ecstasy of her mind-blowing orgasm.

Driving forward one final time, Robert came with a muffled shout of Andy's name. Tremors ran through him, his body contracted and released violently, pleasure overtook him. Heart racing, shuddering, Robert wrapped an arm around his wife to hold her up. Catching their breath in silence, a fleeting thought passes through his mind...would he ever be sated? Would it ever be enough? Probably not.

"So...not jealous, huh" Andy joked casually, sneaking a peek at her husband's face as they redressed and straightened themselves out.

Robert couldn't hold back his laughter and leaned in for a kiss. "What can I say? I can't help myself when it comes to you." He flirted just before pulling her to him.

They held each other close for a moment, the heat and fire of the previous moments taking a backseat to the satisfaction of being together again and the deep love that made the distance so hard. "We broke the rules," Andy whispered into Robert's chest as her arms circled his waist.

Robert heard the worry in her voice, "According to Richard, there are no rules. Only suggestions."

Andy looked up to find her husband's eyes, confusion marred her face. "But I thought..."

"Come home," Robert interrupted.

"Are you..." Andy tried to get her words out, but was cut off again.

"You love me. You support me. It's ridiculous to be apart. Come home." Robert said fiercely.

She needed no convincing. With that, Andy ran a hand through her mussed hair and they headed out of the supply closet. After a quick pit stop at the bathrooms, they walked towards the front door of Joe's, hand in hand, making eye contact with no one.

Vic was taking a sip of her beer when she saw Robert and Andy leaving the back hallway, hand-in-hand. Andy's hair was slightly wild and Robert's shirt definitely a little wrinkled. Shocked, she motioned in their direction, Vic said. "Did we just see..."

"Yup," Dean replied slowly with a raised eyebrow. He took a long pull of beer and shuddered at where his mind was going.

Travis followed the not so separated married couple to the door with his eyes and took in both of their disheveled appearances. "And they..." His voice trailed off, not wanting to go any further.

"Yup," Ben scratched the back of his head uncomfortably and answered the question Travis hadn't even been able to ask.

"Guess I won't be seeing Andy tonight..." Maya said plainly, with a grin on her face.

"Nope," was all Jack could muster. Not wanting to think about Robert and Andy together in the least.

Across the bar, Robert's team mates from Mavis didn't have a clue what was going on, but Brad hugged the bar with a smirk on his face and remembered he and Robert's dialogue from earlier that night. "Taken, huh?" He chuckled under his breath.
