It was now five months since Shanan had joined the Anbu and even after they had made-out, her closest friend was Shikamaru. In fact, she hung out with him alone outside of their group the most. He was easy to talk to and never lectured her about anything. He just let her be. And Shanan found him peaceful to be around because he had never suffered.
Usually, when she wasn't on either a Chunin or Anbu mission, Shanan would assist him with whatever he was doing for Tsunade, so they had a lot of time to walk and talk as Shikamaru gave people assignments or delivered messages for her.
Shanan would wake up and make each of them a cup of coffee since he was always still yawning when he showed up to her apartment. He would stop by the Hokage's office and receive a list of tasks to complete for Tsunade and then go and get Shanan.
But today he was running a bit late before he finally showed up.
"Ah, I was wondering if you'd been sent out on an emergency mission or something," she said as she opened the door.
"Even if I were, I'd still tell Lady Tsunade I was gonna stop by and get you."
He took Shanan on every mission he went on lately, because he trusted her and knew he could count on her. Especially since her Anbu training. And he was usually sent on missions to get information anyway, so not only were her Ninjutsu and Taijutsu helpful, but so was her Sharingan.
"Ok, well the coffee is still warm at least," she said as she handed him his cup.
"That's fine, we can walk and drink. Don't you wanna know why I'm late?" he asked, a bit surprised she hadn't already inquired.
"Yes, I do!" she said as she closed the door before they started walking.
"We've had a lot of Anbu returning from long missions," Shanan looked at him hopefully, "Sorry, not Kakashi yet. Soon I think, though."
"As long as you guys are still hearing back from him, it's ok. I know he's alive."
"I know you like to worry, but I can guarantee that those three are all fine," he assured her. "Anyway, there's just been a lot of debriefing going on lately. So I had to get up an extra hour early this morning to write down statements and all that, it was kind of a drag."
Shanan laughed. "Yeah, but you think everything is kind of a drag."
"Nah, I like hanging out on weekends. It doesn't require thinking and I have a good time with you and the others," he said as he looked sideways at her. "Work is boring."
"Speaking of, what are we doing today?"
"We're tracking down Team Kurenai for a mission. They just need to do a quick fact finding mission. There shouldn't be much fighting involved, so I think they'll be fine on their own. If we're lucky, this'll take all morning," he said hopefully.
"Oh ok, well I know Neji has been training Hinata lately, so I know exactly where they're at."
Once they found Hinata, she was able to take them to Kurenai, Kiba and Shino so that Shanan and Shikamaru could give them their assignment and they all left immediately.
"Well damn, that was too fast. I need more coffee and maybe something to eat. Early lunch?" he asked.
"Sure. Wanna go to my place and I'll make us something?" she asked hopefully.
He dropped his shoulders and looked up as he thought for a minute before he shrugged weakly. "If that's what you wanna do," he told her.
Shanan laughed a bit as she smirked at him. "Yep," she said as she grabbed his hand.
As soon as they walked in Shanan took off her jacket and threw it on the floor before she turned around and put her arms around his neck and pulled him in for a kiss.
"Ugh… you're so predictable," he said in between kisses. He took his jacket off and threw it aside before wrapping his arms around her waist.
Ever since that night, his resolve with her had just gotten weaker and weaker. The first few months they had just made out in her bed when they were drunk after everyone else had probably fallen asleep. But then a month or so ago, one morning after they'd all gotten drunk, he'd been the last to leave and Shanan couldn't resist him when she saw him in her bathroom, no shirt, brushing his teeth. He'd finally let her hands go where they wanted to the night before and she wanted to see what his hands could do, drunk or not, and he didn't fight her on it and he certainly didn't disappoint.
And now she couldn't get enough of him even when there'd been no drinking involved. They'd both agreed not to go all the way, even though they both really wanted to. Shanan just felt like she couldn't, because she still loved Sasuke very much. But he had left when they were so young, and she was weak and lonely too and Shikamaru liked her as much as she liked him.
So since they had finished work early, they decided to fool around on their break.
She decided. He couldn't tell her no.
He pushed her backwards as they continued to make out until they reached the bed. They stood there as she lifted his shirt up and he pulled it off the rest of the way.
Then she took her shirt off and started kissing his neck as he pulled her closer with one hand and ran his fingers up her arm with his other hand and over her shoulder stopping at her bra strap.
He pulled one side down as he leaned down to kiss her shoulder and then made his way to her neck. He reached both hands up to undo her bra as he moved his lips back to hers.
Now that they were both completely topless she got onto the bed and moved closer to the wall so that he could climb in next to her.
As he laid next to her, he pulled her in and kissed her deeply before pulling away again and smiling at her as he shook his head at himself. He kept thinking that he might finally tell her they shouldn't fool around, but he hadn't been able to even once.
He liked the way she kissed him and how she touched him and he liked how she let him kiss her and touch her. She could be really assertive about what she wanted, but wasn't a nagging person or the type of girl he couldn't stand, she was fun. Even if she wasn't his.
He then kissed his way down to her breast and circled his tongue around her nipple before sucking it into his mouth as his hand made its way between her legs. He always felt so in control when he touched her there. She completely melted in his hand. Every time.
Once his fingers found the right spot she pulled him away from her breast and back up to kiss him through her moans. All the while using her fingers to run through his hair to mess up his ponytail. Seeing him with his hair down drove her crazy, so she always messed it up. His fingers were very familiar with her already. They already knew exactly how she liked to be touched. And her kissing and biting helped to let him know how much she enjoyed it.
He pulled his hand away from her and sat up as he helped undress her the rest of the way. But this time he decided to try something he'd been wanting to do. And instead of putting his hand back on her he leaned down to kiss a trail up the inside of her thigh. He found a spot right in the middle of her thigh and kissed it softly before continuing his way back in between her legs.
This was the first time he'd done this. But his tongue felt amazing as it circled around and then up and down. He seemed to change the pressure at which he moved his tongue at the exact right moments. He also pulled parts of her into his mouth as he kissed her deeply down there.
She wasn't at all surprised that he had been a natural. He was always good at everything. But she wasn't done with him just yet, so she knew she had to stop him before she got to where she couldn't.
She squeezed her thighs against his head and pulled her pelvis away from him and he looked up enough for her to put her hand on the side of his face and guide him away.
Once he sat up on his knees, she sat up with him and ran her hand up and down his torso before pulling his pants and boxers down for him to remove the rest of the way.
Once he had them off she pulled him on top of her as she kissed his neck again. She enjoyed leaving marks all over him. She didn't want anyone else touching him the way that she did.
Then she pushed him over so that she could be on top and reached down to stroke him while she continued to suck on his neck just under his jaw. Once she was satisfied she sat up and moved to sit in between his legs as she continued to stroke him and watch his face. Then she lowered her head down and his eyes widened with anticipation.
She had never done this either, but she'd been wanting to. She licked up his shaft and circled her tongue around the tip before taking the whole thing into her mouth. Then she sat up and straddled him as she put her hands on his stomach and started rocking herself back and forth slowly along his shaft.
They had definitely never done this. But they were both enjoying it, even though they both still wanted more of each other.
Shikamaru had his hands on her hips as he helped glide her faster over his length and she grew louder as they went. And he definitely didn't hate the way she breathlessly said his name. He wished he could make a noise, any at all, to let her know how good he felt too, but he couldn't do anything but concentrate on his breathing until he finally exploded.
Shanan wasn't far behind him as her body went completely numb before a wave of pleasure rushed through her and she continued to grind on him through it until suddenly she couldn't move anymore. Her whole body went limp as she caught her breath and very weakly lifted herself off of him to lay next to him.
They laid there for a few minutes and stared at the ceiling as they evened out their breathing.
"I'll be right back," he said abruptly as he got up. He brushed his teeth quickly and then came back with a towel and tossed it to Shanan. Then he put his boxers on before he laid back down and put his hands behind his head.
"Oh, thanks," she said as she laughed and wiped herself off. Her legs already felt stronger, so she got up and grabbed her bra and underwear and went to brush her teeth.
When she came back, she scooted close to him as he put an arm around her and kissed her forehead and she fell asleep within minutes.
When she finally woke up she figured he must've fallen asleep shortly after as he hadn't moved at all.
She looked at the clock and saw that a few hours had already passed.
"Hey, wake up," she said as she nudged him and sat up.
He opened his eyes lazily. "So are we actually gonna eat?" he asked as he sat up too.
Shanan laughed at him. "We can make something, but we should make it quick and get back to work."
He rubbed his eyes as he stood up to put his pants on. "Yeah. Hopefully I won't have to answer too many questions when I go back. You left all of these marks on my neck so high up," he said before sitting back down on the bed.
"You didn't stop me…" she laughed as he grabbed her and pulled her onto his lap to face him. "We should do this more often," she said as he held her close and started sucking on her neck.
"You're such a little perv," he said gently between kissing and sucking. If he had to answer stupid questions, then she would have to as well.
He didn't mind that she was so insatiable, though. He actually really liked it about her. But, he really liked a lot of things about her.
