(Music starts) Sasuke walks into his current apartment and slams the door. He's clearly tormented by the thought of Shanan having moved on from him. He sits on his bed and leans his forehead into his hands. He's angry and heartbroken, but he takes a few deep breaths and calms down. He leans his head back against the wall and closes his eyes...

("Well I came home") Sasuke opens the door to his old apartment and turns the light on before setting his bag down. Shanan is standing in the middle of the room.

("And I fell heavy") He goes to Shanan and falls into her arms after having been away for so long. He holds onto her because he knows he never should've left.

("These days of dust") Shanan stands there coldly, she's obviously upset with him. She looks incredulous.

("Will blow away") She pushes him away and shakes her head in disbelief and turns around to walk away.

("But I'll kneel") Sasuke is distraught. He manages to grab her hand as she's turning and he falls to his knees. He brings her hand to his forehead as he's begging and pleading with her to forgive him, tears streaming down his face.

("And I'll kneel") Shanan turns around and appears to sigh and smile softly at him. She never could stay mad at him.

("And I will wait") Sasuke jumps up and wraps his arms around her again and she hugs him back. Fade to black.

("And I will wait") Sasuke is on his bed again. He opens his eyes as a single tear falls down his cheek. He closes his eyes again...

(Music break) There's a crowd of people sitting in white chairs outside on a sunny day.

("So break my step") The bottom of Shanan's wedding dress comes into view as we pan up and see that Naruto is walking her down the aisle.

("Well you forgave") Sasuke is at the altar smiling at Shanan bigger than we've ever seen him smile.

("Know what we've seen") Shanan arrives at the altar to face Sasuke. They're both beaming as they stare into each other's eyes.

("Now in some ways") They exchange rings, still smiling as the officiant mouths some words to them.

("Cause I will wait") Shanan throws her arms around Sasuke's neck and they kiss. Fade to black.

("And I will wait") Sasuke is on the bed again, sobbing as he brings his arm up to try and stop any more tears from coming out of his eyes.

("And I will wait") He looks over at his nightstand and sees the picture he keeps of the three of them.

("And I will wait") He grabs the picture and leans forward to look at it. The tears have calmed down.

("Now I'll be bold") He touches Shanan's face in the picture as a tear falls onto it.

("As well as strong") He closes his eyes again...

("And use my head") Sasuke is laying in bed, one arm behind his head, Sharingan activated.

("So tame my flesh") Shanan rolls over into view and puts her hand on his face and he looks at her.

("And fix my eyes") His Sharingan disappears and he smiles softly at her.

("A tethered mind") Shanan smiles back at him and he pulls her in to kiss her passionately. Fade to black.

("And I'll kneel") Sasuke jumps out of bed determinedly. He grabs his bag and shoves the picture into it.

("I'll kneel") We see him time skipping around the room putting things into his bag as it gets fuller each time before closing the door and looking at the building as if to say goodbye to his quest for revenge.

("Whoo") We see him walking away, bag on his back. He's smiling with a sense of relief.

(Music rises) He starts running, he can't get home fast enough. His arms are behind him as he gains more and more speed.

("Raise my hands") He's still running until he hits the edge of a thick forest.

("Paint my spirit") He jumps into the trees and takes off towards Konoha.

("And bow my head") He's flying through the trees now, rising up and down through the branches.

("Keep my heart") The profile of his face comes up. His eyes are closed. Tears are flying backwards. He's free.

("Cause I will wait") We see the old apartment building during the day. A younger Shanan is waving at him from the balcony.

("And I will wait") It fades to nighttime and we see Sasuke land in front of the building.

("And I will wait") Sasuke opens his door and turns on the light before setting his bag down. Shanan is standing in the middle of the room.

("And I will wait") He walks towards her and we spin around the two of them only to end up back behind him and we see that she isn't really there, as he drops to his knees.
