(Music starts) We see the village gathered for Kakashi's funeral. We see Shanan and her kids surrounded by Sasuke, Naruto and the rest of the family and all of their friends. We see them lining up to lay flowers on his casket. Tears are flowing from everyone as they pass.
("And I came home") As they're leaving, Shanan falls to the ground. She buries her face into her hands and sobs.
("And I fell heavy") Sasuke rushes to her and wraps his arms around her. He hates seeing her so broken.
("These days") Shanan squeezes him tight and continues to cry into his shoulder, glad to have some comfort from her best friend.
("Will blow away") We see tears fall down Sasuke's cheeks as he wraps her even tighter and cries for her. Fade.
("And I'll kneel") We see Shanan lying in her and Kakashi's bed crying silently as she stares at Kakashi's empty space. Sasuke comes in and helps her walk to the couch.
("And I'll kneel") Sasuke holds her close as she sleeps, and cries because he feels like he's failed her as she withers away in darkness.
("And I will wait") We see Shanan holding onto Sasuke in the shower as he gently scoops water onto her hair in an attempt to save her.
("And I will wait") Shanan smiles appreciatively at Sasuke after he tells her that she was Kakashi's sun and that he'd always meant for her to shine. Fade.
("So break my step") A year later we see Shanan and Sasuke carrying boxes into their new house. She looks happier.
("You forgave") We see Shanan trying to sleep without him on the couch, before knocking on his door.
("Know what we've seen") Shanan climbs into his bed and they stare into each other's eyes as he gently caresses her cheek.
("Now in some ways") We see them kissing and smiling as he pulls her into his arms. Fade.
("And I will wait") We see them standing in the middle of the living room talking. They both look upset.
("And I will wait") She looks at Sasuke pleadingly as he shakes his head and starts to walk away.
("And I will wait") She grabs his arm as he's turning and begs him with tears in her eyes. She knows that there's more to their past.
("And I will wait") Sasuke's resolve is gone. He nods gently and she stands in front of him.
("So I'll be bold") Shanan activates Omoidasu and her eyes tear up immediately.
("As well as strong") Sasuke looks worried, afraid that she's going to reject him.
("And use my head") She continues to stare at him with tears in her eyes. All of her feelings rushing back as she remembers every detail.
("So tame my flesh") She suddenly shifts her eyes to look at him in disbelief as tears start pouring down her face.
("A tethered mind") She drops to her knees. She feels so guilty about forgetting and making him pine for her for all these years.
("But I'll kneel") He kneels coolly in front of her, grabs her chin and tilts her face up as he smirks at her gently before looking at her more sympathetically, because he never blamed her for moving on.
("And I'll kneel") He tears up as he gently wipes her tears away. "Don't cry," he whispers. He then leans in to kiss her, passionately, like he's wanted to do every day for the last 20 years. Fade.
("Raise my hands") We see the twins walking Shanan down the aisle as she smiles up at Sasuke.
("Paint my spirit") We see Sasuke beaming at her from the altar. Fade.
("And bow my head") We see Sasuke hug and kiss Shanan from behind and see that she's very pregnant.
("Keep my heart slow") We see Sasuke playing with his one year old son, who looks just like him, as Shanan looks on smiling. Fade.
("And I will wait") We see all of them in a family photo. Including baby Itachi. Fade.
("And I will wait") We see them in another family photo about thirteen years later. Itachi is a teen now and one of the twins is holding their own baby. Fade.
("And I will wait") We see them and all of their grown kids another thirteen years later, along with their four grandkids. Fade.
("And I will wait") Teenaged Sasuke opens the door to his apartment. Shanan is in the middle of the room. He runs to her smiling and picks her up by her waist as she wraps her arms around his neck. They kiss each other passionately.

End credits scene-
"Alright, listen," Yuki said as she sat down across from Hiro who was still in the middle of eating his breakfast. "I stayed up late last night thinking and I know exactly how we're gonna get it."
Hiro rolled his eyes at her. She'd first mentioned obtaining a copy of the Kaitei from their mother over a month ago and when he listed all of the reasons why it would be completely and utterly impossible he thought that that had settled it.
Apparently not.
"I just don't think it's gonna work–"
"What are you two planning?" Sasuke asked as he walked into the kitchen, baby Itachi in one arm.
"Nothing, Uncle Sasuke. Just talking about squad drama," Yuki said coolly as if it were actually true.
Sasuke narrowed his eyes at her suspiciously. She was as good a liar as he was and he knew that she got it from him, so he couldn't really fault her for it. He grabbed a small bottle out of the fridge for baby Itachi and looked back over at them. "Fine then. Just don't get into too much trouble with whatever it is you're actually doing," he said as he made his way back into the bedroom.
Once the coast was clear Yuki leaned in and whispered quietly. "Ok, so we have to do it when Uncle Sasuke is out–"
"He's off missions right now, stupid. He's still got a few months before he said he would go on any to help mom out with the baby."
Yuki put her hands up and waved them at him. "Shut up. I know that. But he runs errands plenty."
Hiro dropped his spoon into his bowl and looked at her incredulously. "You think that's gonna give us enough time to extract 25 years of memories from mom's head?!"
She nodded slowly, though she wasn't overly confident. "It's gonna have to, Hiro…"
He sighed as he pinched the bridge of his nose.
"Please help me with this. I wanna– I need to see dad again." She started to tear up as her face started shaking. "Please."
Hiro considered her and her plea. He knew she was desperate. He was too. They both missed him terribly, he just didn't think they'd be able to pull it off even if they did have time.
"I know we can do this if we work together."
He took a deep breath and pushed his bowl to the side. "Fine. What do we have to do?"
