Weiss slept blissfully that night.

What she did? What she did to, no for Jaune! It had invigorated her, made her feel on top of the world. She could still taste him. Her action from last night, she knew it was wrong, it was improper. But yet she didn't care. She didn't care because it felt so right. And as she sat at the breakfast table she was positively beaming, a smile on her face.

"Well someone's in a good mood today" Yang noted as she saw the smiling Weiss, her usual grin plastered on her face.

"A good night's sleep works wonders" Weiss simply replied.

It certainly wasn't untrue. She had slept a lot better then the nights before and she hoped Jaune had a good night's sleep as well. After her little gift to him.

"Well normally you're not a morning person Weiss so it's just surprising to see" Ruby said.

Weiss ignored her partner and gave the table a good glance over and soon her eyes where set on the objects of her affections. Her prince that would sweep her of her feet, her knight in shining armor, as raggedy and ridiculous he may look with that bunny hoodie. The gorgeous and handsome Jaune Arc.

"So Jaune, excited about your date tonight" Yang said, winking at him.

His what?

She had to be joking right….

"Oh that" Jaune said blushing a shade of deep red.

"Yeah when where you going to tell us that that cute cashier at the store had asked you out loverboy?" Yang asked teasingly, grinning from ear to ear.

Weiss hoped she was hearing things wrong but last she checked her hearing was just fine. Her prince…..on a date.

But….but she was right there…didn't he always try to ask her out back at Beacon. In hindsight she should've just accepted the offer, then he would be hers right.

"Curse you hindsight" Weiss mentally cursed.

"It's not that big of a deal. She just snuck it on me and it just sort of happened so…also the moment I would tell you all you'd be all over me pressing me for details like you are doing now" Jaune said, pointing accusingly at everyone, but in particular at Yang. The blonde bombshell just shrugged.

"Guilty as charged!" she admitted without shame.

Weiss was deadly silent, her eyes almost unmoving and in complete disbelief at everything she had just hard. Her prince…..the man that was supposed to be hers was going on a date….and not one with her.

"Please excuse me" Weiss said, proper as ever as she excused herself from the table as the rest of her friend and teammates looked on surprised.

"What's gotten into her?" Yang asked curiously to nobody in particular.

Weiss made her way towards the bathroom, quietly closing and locking the door behind her before she made her way towards the mirror and inspected herself properly.

A few seconds of tense silence followed before Weiss put her hand in front of her mouth and yelled out loudly. Her scream muffled by her hands as she yelled out all her frustration in the best way she knew how too without alarming anyone.

All her feelings and emotions went into this yell. The anger, the frustration, the complete disbelief.

As her yell deafened out and she became silent, she removed her hand from her mouth and leaned her hands on the wash table and looked at herself in the mirror. Her blue eyes filled with an incendiary rage about to blow.

"But he….but he is supposed to be with me….he is supposed to be mine" she muttered.

Like a switch a tear leaked from her eyes, gone was the budding anger, made away for sadness at the thought of the man she loved being with someone else. The thought was driving her figuratively up the wall.

"How….how" Weiss said solemnly as the tears streamed down her cheeks as she tried to be as quiet as possible, she was not willing to allow anyone, especially Jaune, to see her in this state right now.

But what was she to do now? How would she show Jaune that she was right there. What if his feelings for her had long since faded away?

She had blown him in his sleep last night? Was he dreaming of this other girl, whoever she may be. The thought made Weiss clutch her fist and it took quite a bit of restraint not to smash the mirror in front of her into pieces. Instead she just stared at her own reflection, tear soaked eyes, holding back her own unrequited feelings.

Weiss wanted nothing more but to tell Jaune how she felt. What she believed beyond a shadow of a doubt to be the truth. They where meant to be? He was meant to be hers and she was meant to be his.

She was a fool for not seeing that earlier. Maybe if she hadn't been so reluctant and standoffish at Beacon they could've had something beautiful, but now all that…all that possibility, that beautiful future of them seemed to vanish like snow before the sun.

Weiss wiped her tears, staring into the mirror. Like a magic mirror and her own reflection speaking back to her she said.

"He will be mine…no matter what it takes he will be mine…"
