Alright, this is my first thing that i've submitted to Fanfiction, so don't blame me if it's bad. I'm no good at writing long stories, so i'm gonna stick to the one-shots. Anyway, enjoy these random ones that i had a little while ago.

Disclaimer: Yes, I own Avatar. The world is also square, i've been to the moon, and you can walk on clouds. It's all common sense.

Aang faced his opponent, a determined glare set on his face and staff held tightly in his hands. Zuko glared back, equally determined to defeat the Avatar this time, and capture him. Zuko stepped forward, extending his arm and sending a stream of fire at the Avatar. Aang stepped up, twirling his staff around quickly in a circle, the fire extinguishing upon hitting it, and then extended his arm also, a strong gust of wind flying at the Prince. He spun to the side though, avoiding it and slashed through the air with his arm, sending another wave of fire at Aang, who jumped over it and shot more air at Zuko upon landing. Every move and attack brought them closer together, and those who watched could now see why some people called fighting dancing. Every burst of fire from the Prince's hands and stream of air from the Avatar's staff was done smoothly and swiftly as their bodies dodged each attack and swayed with their movements. They had come to the point where they were so close that they needed to pay close attention to what the other was doing to avoid the quickly flowing attacks. Zuko kicked fire at Aang, who slid to the side, avoiding it, and shot air at his head. The Prince lowered his head and pulled back, Aang doing the same.

Both of them came forward suddenly and forcefully, each bending a large amount of their element towards the other. Air and Fire collided, fueling the other into a massive explosion.

Before either of them could be sent backwards by the force of the explosion though, something happened. Something that shocked both of them, which was probably why they both flew back so far.

As they both pushed their elements forward, their eyes connected for a fraction of a second, and a feeling of complete regret flowed through them. For even briefer of a moment, their fingers touched. The tips of their fingers met and the shock flew through them both, shivers running through their bodies, and a feeling that niether could quite understand.

And then it was over.

They both shot over in the opposite direction, crashing into the roofs of two seperate buildings.

And the fight continued.

So it was kinda stupid, i know. I needed to get it written out though, it was bugging me. I suppose i could have written it better, and maybe i'll write it over later with better description. Whatever though, review okay?
