Gehrman was really fast, but halfway to the nightmare forest Jaune fall asleep, and when he woke up Jaune was left alone in the middle of the forest with a lamp, 2 backpacks, and a knife.
Jaune peek into the second backpack, there was a bunch of food and water. suddenly a crunch of branches alerted Jaune... it was Gherman.
Gehrman landed from the top of a tree and said, "we are here. This is your initiation, you have to continue throw the forest until you get to the center of the forest, there is going to be a camp-sight, I'll be waiting for you there. I'll give you 3 days to get there. ready?" Gehrman said looking at Jaune with his hand on the pockets of his leather jacket.
Jaune gives a step backward hesitating for a second until he stops feeling fear somehow. "I'm ready." Jaune said as he started walking to where German was pointing after Jaune told him that he was ready. then after he saw him leave he jump into the trees and there can only be heard the crunch of branches as gehrman went back to Jaunes house in a matter of hours.
"THREE DAYS! you had a whole week to get to the center!" Jaunes dad said pointing at Gehrman.
"you saw him, Jupiter that kid made you back away just by looking at you, and you are one of the strongest huntsman in remnant." gehrman said crossing his arms.
"you have a point there, I felt that I was going to die... F-Forget that, what is your plan." Jupiter said.
"you mean how am I going to train him?... hum... well I was planning on working on his body for the first year." gehrman said grabbing his chin.
"I see... there is one thing that I want to tell you, Jaune's blood is special, when he got cut the blood smelled sweeter, and the cut close in a matter of a minute or so." Jupiter said leaning in and looking at Gehrman's eyes.
"I see... and this is without aura right?" Gehrman said, Jaune's dad nodded. "he heals faster than most people... this is excellent, I need to go get some medicinal plants to relieve his muscles." gehrman said smiling and getting up for the couch in the living room.
Gehrman left in a hurry Jaune's mom look at Jaune's dad "will Jaune be okay?" she said grabbing his arm.
"I hope so honey," Jupiter said looking to the window in front of him.
Jaune was tired he has been walking for 4 hours now, apparently, it was still night time, Jaune could see the broken moon in the sky throw a craves between the trees. Jaune stop and turn off his lamp to rest a bit looking around the only thing that he was able to see was the trees' silhouettes. he sit down next to a tree and close his eyes for a few minutes as he woke up he saw both sides and saw nothing.
Jaune got up and started walking again he continue walking for 2 days taking small breaks in between 4 hours.
as he walk for 4 more hours he saw light in the darkness, as he kept walking he found a circle. we're light was entering, a big circle where no trees were found, then he found two tents and a fire pit, jaune put his things down he opens the backpack full of food and grabbed anything that he could eat right at that moment.
he ate 5 protein bars and 2 bottles of water. he close the tent and fell asleep for the rest of the day.
in the morning left everything and only armed with a knife he started looking for some way to get water, he walked for a few minutes and stumble upon a waterfall, as he got close to the water and ear-piercing ringing started so sound in Jaunes mind, as he put his hands in his ears he looks down to the crystal clear water and sees eyes looking at him, then he only hears whispers, but he can see images of what the voices are trying to communicate to Jaune.
"he is just a child." it was unknown where these images were coming from "he made it here in 2 days and one night, let's give him a reward!" another voice started sounding. "I already did let's hope he understands what was the gift." the voices started to chuckle and banish in the water.
the ringing stop, Jaune was confused, he was a bit dizzy but he mark the trees that lead to the waterfall, as he went back to the camp.
he enter the circle and saw Gehrman sitting next to the fire pit "G-Gehrman!" jaune said.
Gehrman turns to see Jaune and smiles, "well, well, how old are you? because you are not 8" he whispers as Jaune approaches him. " jaune starting tomorrow we will start training your body, so get some rest, and I'll wake you up in the morning. I assume you already eat."Gehrman said looking at Jaunes tent.
"Yeah, that will be all for today. oh, I found a waterfall a few minutes from here." jaune said looking really sleepy.
"good job I'll take a look later, now go to sleep," Gehrman said.
Jaune went to his tent and fell asleep right away, that was it for that day and the next one because jaune slept for 2 days and Gehrman knew this was going to happen.
