Summary:
They say distance is never good. But thanks to the distance they realized what each other meant to them...

I decided to leave you. I decided to hate you for the rest of my life.
I tried to ignore you every time you walked by with that smug look in your face.
I tried ignoring my heart and for once think about it.
I already cried a million tears for you but not even once you tried to catch it.
I know you're not that kind of person but I guess... it was use less.
It was useless to hope.
I was nothing to you, not an acquaintance, not a classmate, not even a friend.

It wasn't my fault and I couldn't blame you.
I tried my best to talk to you but not a single word came out.
I tried ignoring you hoping to finish all communication to that.
But you always came back.
It annoyed me to hell and without knowing started shouting at you.
Your annoying smile, your sweet voice, everything about you makes me sick…
And now…

I lost all my memories of you that day.
Hid it far away but then it all came back.
It came back because of your stupid fan club's gossiping.
I never knew the distance between us made you so much colder.
I never meant it to happen.
I thought by now you would have forgotten.
But now I finally realized…

… I missed you…
I missed you all along, Natsume...
I missed you, you idiot.

Mikan Sakura walked into the northern forest, her thoughts of realization stuck in her head. She continued to walk not a care of where she'll end up.
After an hour of thoughtless walking and looked at what was in front of her, and like the stories in fairy tales, there the main attention of her thoughts sulking once more beside the lake.
She decided to run away but he caught sight of her movement. He looked up from where he sat and stared at her. She stared back at him; his once red fiery eyes now looked so vulnerable.
"What are you doing here, idiot?" He asked as he turned his head and looked at the flowing lake.
"Why would you care Hyuuga?" She asked back trying her best to be heartless.
"Because…"He started but decided not to continue.
"What's been happening to you?" She suddenly asked after the long silence. She looked for a moment at his shocked face then just stared at the flowing lake like he did moments ago.
"Nothing." He snapped back standing up, His hands in his pockets, and his gaze on her face.
"I just…missed you." He whispered and started walking away leaving the girl alone again.
But now…she wore a smile.
Not like before.
The end.
Winter fall: This was actually based on something that happened to me but the difference we never really made up even up to now.. I might try revising it soon and if you'd like me to continue this into a chaptered story tell me but I still prefer this as a one shot only.
