Sorry for the delay folks, had some trouble going on in life at the moment. Without wasting more time let's continue with our predicament.
Before we continue, I'd say skip if you don't want to read about the "R" + (past tense eat(ate) with a "P")
Tensed, panicked, afraid, the three horsemen of Luna's current emotions. The gun was still aimed at the figure, her finger rested on the trigger, waiting to be squeezed. "Take the hood off," Luna ordered. Without a thought, the figure took their hood off, revealing his face. Rough white face with a greying beard on his chin, his hair was hard and his nose was arched. "Put your gun down," Luna ordered with her gun pointed at the man's hip. He groaned as he slid the gun out and put it on the floor and kicked it away.
His face meant no harm, and his smile was warm, too warm for the cold world, too uncanny for the destruction around, too sincere for a rabid animal. A good person maybe, a nice person maybe, a great man perhaps, or a sociopath, a wolf amongst sheep. No, he's too nice, he's polite enough to slide his gun away, a civilised man.
"Would you like to put yours down now?" the man asked politely with his eyes staring straight at the gun Luna held.
She felt stupid, and something stupid she did, holstering her gun the man pounced, pinning her to the ground, choking her with both his hands, she tried to shout, she tried to scream, she tried to punch him but her body laid limp. "Shh... Little girl, it's daddy's day today," he said as he reached his belt, unbuckling it. "Oh I know you were there, staring at my boys feeding you, it's better to use you before eating you amirite?" Smiling like a psychopath, he licked Luna's cheek, licking and sucking before he unzips his pants.
"You're going to love it, Jesse," The man said before gagging Luna's mouth with the leather belt he wore. She cried, she tried to fight but the way she fell won't let her. "Stop fightin', I'll make it fast,"
"Don't be a selfish bitch, would ya?" He said as he unzips Luna's pants with his right hand. "You should really sleep eh," he continued his speech before stabbing Luna's neck with a syringe. She yelped as something flew into her veins.
She thought it was the end, but out of nowhere, the man was shot right by the side of his head, ending his life. Catching her breath, still in a daze. Blink and blink and nothing. Darkness consumed her vision as a voice so sweet calls out her name, "Luna! Luna!". Waking up only to hear the loud British classic rock, people chattering, the air felt nice, her mouth stretched into a smile. Her eyes opened and in front of her was someone she dearly missed, someone she didn't deserve to meet, an angel named Sam Sharp. The blonde with a blue streak. In between the two was a table decorated with a checkered cloth and a small lily in the middle.
"Sam, is that really you?" Luna asked as she stared deep into Sam's eyes, before stabbing her hand using a fork, "Ouch!" she grunted as the pain flew to her brain.
"Are you okay Luna?" Sam asked worriedly, the angel of Luna's heart wore a light blue tunic, matching the blue streak of hair.
"I'm okay, wow..." Luna said in awe, as the light brought the colours out of Sam's eyes.
"Is it the shirt, I know I fucked up with the tunic," Sam replied in annoyance as she flailed her arms complaining about the tunic.
"No, Sam, you look incredible," Luna said as she held Sam's arms firmly, "I will never leave you, Sam," Luna said as she pulled Sam in for a kiss, but before their lips met Sam said with a warm smile stretched on her face, her eyes were sparkling and her cheeks were pink.
"But you already did."
Luna couldn't do anything as she fell to the floor, the place she could only call Bangers and Mosh, the posters and decors rotted away as a fire grew, consuming table after table, people caught on fire only to stand up walk over to Luna, chanting and stomping, "Selfish bitch," they chanted. Luna stood up, she grabbed Sam's arm and tried to pull her out through the double door, but Sam wouldn't move.
"You wanna know something Luna?" Luna said with her face facing the flaming patrons. "You were the reason all this happen, you are the reason Lily suffered," Sam said as she turns around with a dead blonde preteen in her arms, the only sister Luna had left. "You did this Luna," Sam said as Lily's corpse rotted away.
"No," Luna cried as she lets Sam's arm go, "That's not true,"
"Oh it is true, and you know it," Sam said as she too was consumed by the raging blaze. "You selfish bitch,"
Everything spiralled away, as she cried her eyes out, she coughed and coughed as she cried and cried. Looking at her palms she saw blood. She ran out of the double doors, and she turned around, the building was engulfed in flames, the horror. Standing at the doorframe she saw Sam, burning alive as her arms locked the doors in. fingers seeped out of the door gaps, people screamed for help, calling out her name, begging for her help, calling her what they called her before, "Let us out you selfish bitch!"
She froze, she felt guilt pumping in her body, "What have I done?" She fell on her knees, her eyes rained tears to the black asphalt. "Sam I'm sorry,"
She closed her eyes, as the fire faded away, replaced with a familiar voice shouting from afar. "Kids, time for dinner!", followed by the sound of a stampede of people walking down a set of wooden stairs. "I call dibs on the chicken beak," "Eww, have some class," "I believe that the beak would contain many post mortem ger-," "Speak English dweeb,"
Her eyes grew wide open, and there she saw the Mick Swagger Poster on the ceiling. She jumped down to the carpeted floor and she saw Mr Coconuts sitting on the bed below her bunk. Twisting the doorknob she saw the corridor, there was mud, there were skid marks, there were balls, there were comics, it was the view she missed the most. "I'm home?" she wondered as she steps down the stairs, and there they were, all of them sitting at the dining table, sitting quietly as they rest their filled stomach.
"There you are Luna, I thought you weren't coming LJ ate your dinner," Lynn Loud Sr. said as he picks the plates up.
"Dad," Luna said under her breath, "Guys,"
"Like how she didn't come to help us the moment we need her the most?" Lincoln asked with a wide smile.
"Precisely," Lisa replied with no emotion in her cold eyes. "I believe this is the time we perform something that would afflict permanent damage on our third eldest sister,"
"English dweeb," Lynn Jr. commented whilst fogging Lisa's spectacles.
"Tear her limb to limb," Lisa clarified, as she wipes the fog away.
"I'll go get my shovel," Lucy said as she stood up.
Panicked and afraid Luna retreated to the living room, she looked dead straight at the door frame as one by one the Loud kids appear. Staring down Luna's soul. Then came Lynn and Rita, the two people that took care of them all. "Sorry honey, but we need to off you now," Lynn Loud Sr. said as he pulls out a cartoonishly large cleaver from his back pocket.
"What?" Luna sheepishly asked as she slowly stepped back. "Guys, what is this?"
"I'm sorry Luna," Rita said as she pulled a hunting rifle out from under the couch. "Nothing personal,"
Luna closed her eyes and she heard the gunshot, but she felt no pain. Opening her eyes she saw dad, lying on the floor with blood flowing out like a river, mum was there applying pressure to the dying man's wound. She stared down her arm and she saw a black pistol in her grip, the barrel was smoking and her finger was on the trigger.
"You did this," Rita said as she aimed the rifle at Luna, "we could've done it the easy way, we could've been family again, but no, you are too good for us,"
"Mom no," she tried to plead but the bullet had entered her chest, she cried in pain as she fell to the carpeted floor, coughing pieces of her lungs out, "please,"
"I'm sorry, but sinners get sent to hell," Rita said as she stomped on Luna's head, turning it into a giant mush of bloody meat.
Luna screamed, as her sight returned. Beside her was Lily, holding her right hand, asleep she was. Was all that a dream? No, she felt the wound where someone stabbed her with a syringe, she felt the burn of chemicals flowing in her veins. She knows that they need to leave as fast as they could. Nowhere is safe, Nowhere is safe, Nowhere is safe.
