We are back with for blood, maybe not blood, maybe latte but not blood though. You know what, give me both, Blood Latte. Without further ado let's continue with our journey, (I never learn from my mistakes, because I am the MISTAKE)
"Lily wake up," Luna yelped as she squeezed Lily's hand, she couldn't move much, her body felt numb. "Lily!"
"There's no use Luna," Lily said with no energy in her voice.
Pulling her strength together, Luna tried to get up, but her struggles were futile, she saw the straps holding her limbs down, shaking her body violently she begged Lily to take the straps off. Lily sat beside her still as she cried her eyes out. "Luna stop it, please,". Luna couldn't say anything, how could she give up this easily? "It's no use getting out Luna,"
"This is not real," Luna said, with a voice calmer than the serene nature. "You're not real," Luna looked at the ceiling and shakes the bed violently, "WAKE UP!" she yelled as she forced the restraints on her foot off. "WAKE THE FUCK UP LUNA!"
"Luna stop it," Lily yelled as she slapped Luna across her face. "I know what you did, stop it, you're scaring me,"
"Lily we need to get out of here," Luna shouted realising that it wasn't another dream, it was a nightmare, a nightmare she called reality. She shook violently and successfully making it harder for herself when the light army bed flipped to the side. One thing was passing through her mind, "Get the fuck out of here,". Fear, the major reason most people act irrationally, fearing the unknown is dangerous, but fearing the known is worse. One may know what they fear, but one may not have the necessary tool to fight the fear. An imbecile in the middle of a raging storm, waiting to be brought down by the sheer strength of the disaster. A gerbil in the midst of foxes. "LILY COME ON!"
"Jesse, haven't you done enough tonight?" the voice of Brenda asks as someone pulled the bed back to its original spot. "Or should I say, Luna,"
"What?" Luna tried to play stupid, thinking that it may work. "What are you talking about B?"
"You killed Faraday, you chopped his body to pieces, and you forced Jenny or Lily, whatever her fucking name is, to shoot at James!" Brenda yelled at the bound girl's face, "I thought we could be friends, turns out you were like the rest of the bandits out there,"
"No that's not true," Luna protested as she continues rattling the bed away. "Lily you cannot believe her, she's lying,"
"The wolves among the sheep, I'm sorry Luna, but the answer is below you," Lily said before Brenda took her out of the infirmary, away from Luna, but before she completely got out of her sights, Lily blinked her left eye. There it clicked, Lily have a plan. "Goodbye Luna,"
Nobody was guarding the inside, the only guard outside was the southern guy guarding the front from earlier that day. Her head looked everywhere for an opening, "wolves amongst the sheep, the answer is below me, what does it mean?"
She looked around the lived in infirmary, one that is filled with many medical images, many posters regarding the dangers of smoking, and one mirror right in front of the bed. Then Luna noticed, the mirror had stickers on the bottom right, three sheep, and a fox. "that must be it," Luna thought. From the reflection next to the stickers, she saw a scalpel, shiny.
"Thanks, Lils," she said before kicking the bed away, flipping it once again. Groaning as her body kissed the floor, it made a loud clang, causing the guard to enter. "Oh shit," she muttered as she struggled to pick the scalpel.
"What's going on back there?" the man asked in his thick southern accent as he aimed his assault rifle at the flipped bed. "You okay back there dude?"
Nothing, not a word from Luna, he walked over to the bed, and there he was surprised as the spot where the captured woman should be, panicked he let his guard down, "Oh shit, oh fuck, I'm fucked" as the word fucked left his neck felt wet, touching it, he felt liquid pouring out, his voice wasn't coming out, only gasps for air.
"You're right, you are fucked," Luna said as she picks the assault rifle in his arms, and the gun holstered on his belt. "Thanks,"
Bleeding and dying the man fell to the floor, his hands were glued onto his neck, trying to keep the blood in. The blood puddled as Luna left the infirmary, entering the lit corridor. Jogging down Luna heard footsteps from where the cafeteria is. Thinking that Lily might be there she ran there, and her thoughts were true, Lily was there sitting with Brenda at a table, facing the direction Luna's facing. Putting her ears near, she listened in on their conversation.
"What your mom or sister did tonight was unforgivable, she killed two people today," Brenda said and with care in her voice, fake care.
"My sister did what she thought was right," Lily said, defending Luna.
"Killing is wrong no matter what," Brenda commented, Luna could feel the evilness seeping out of her silhouette.
That was it, Luna aimed the rifle at Luna, and aimed it directly at Brenda's head. "Lily let's go," Luna said as the two turned around. "Where's the pack?" Luna asked as Lily jumped off the cafeteria seat.
"Behind you," Lily said as she walked past Luna, dragging the heavy rucksack. Like clockwork, Luna kneeled as Lily slides the rucksack on her shoulders. Eyes still on the woman, they retreated through the double door. "Come on,"
Running out they opened the double door separating the wilderness and the "civil". It was dark, the sun wasn't up and the sirens blared, the shrieking and screaming started. The hooves meeting the ground, the ravenous beasts. The Drones of Furfur, The Great Earl of Hell. Scared Luna and Lily ran deeper into the bellows. It's them against the world now. nowhere is safe.
"Fuck, come on Lils!" Luna shouted as she picked Lily up, carrying the girl on her shoulders. "Tell me if you lose 'em,"
And there they were, back out there, running from the bigger monster, humanity. Nowhere is safe. Truth is, we're all gerbils running away from the horrors of reality, a reality where nothing is true.
That's all for today aye, goodbye and have a great day lads.
