INDEED

Greg was standing at his desk, watching how work literally piled up before him, and tilted his head to the side. He sighed. Today was most certainly not his day, first he got in late because his car broke down, then got a major scolding from Grissom because they were up to their necks in three different cases and now it looked he was most likely to be stuck in the lab all day. Taking a deep breath, he turned around to switch on his CD player and was already bending over the samples on his desk, as an unexpected but familiar tune started to play and a male voice began to sing:

I got chills, they're multiplying and I'm losing control, 'cause the power you're supplying, it's electrifying…

For a moment, Greg just stood still over his work, then he eyed his CD player suspiciously. That was, by all means, not Marilyn Manson, nor any of his other CDs he might have last put in there. Nevertheless, Olivia Newton started to sing along, and soon her voice and John Travolta's echoed loudly through the lab, telling each other how they were each other's one that they wanted. However, before Greg could take a first guess who's credit that was, he heard a chuckle from behind him.

You're the one that I want, ooh ooh ooh, honey, the one that I want, ooh ooh ooh, honey, the one that I want, ooh ooh ooh - the one I need, oh yes indeed.

Leaning against the doorframe stood Nick, a smug smile on his lips. "Thought you might need some cheering up." He explained, as the young lab tech turned around, a puzzled look on his face. Just too damn adorable for a grown-up, as Nick thought, Greg was simply the cuteness in persona. "Besides, I never get tired of telling you that." He added, after Travolta had sung once more 'you're the one that I want'.

Greg couldn't help but smirk. "And this was by far the most subtle way you could think of, was it?" He asked, stepping up to his co-worker. Nick shook his head. "Nah, but I take every opportunity I get to say it…" He spoke gently, resting his hands on the younger man's waist and pulled him closer. "I love you."

The one I need, oh yes indeed.

Greg couldn't have agreed more with the singer. "I love you, too." He answered, wrapped his arms around the older man and kissed him softly.

Oh yes, indeed, he thought.
