Yes, my music taste is stuck way back in the early 2000s
"Where am I?" Luna asked as she looked up, the sky was blue and the clouds afloat, she felt like she was moving, and she was, looking around she saw the forest, and there she was sitting in a carriage, in front of her was the redhead, sleeping, and on the seat behind the horse was a man, there was a blanket on top of her, and she could breathe better, the mask is off of her face, she knew her face was ruined, so she struggled to find it, waking the redhead up as she does.
"Dude, chill we're not going to do bad things to you, your things are right here, well the only thing you had back then," Riley said as she passed her the gas mask and the box of condoms in her pocket, "Who were those condoms for? a boyfriend maybe?"
She didn't answer, she remembered that these were the same people who took her into custody, if they hadn't taken her, she wouldn't be separated. She looked at Riley, her voice made her sound happy, but her face said otherwise.
"You look cold, come on, we're going to the junction," Riley said as she passed a bottle of water at the girl, "The name's Riley, this here is the man that shan't be named,"
"I don't have a name," he said as the carriage continues to bring her to the junction, "How 'bout you, we broke you out of hell with our mighty stead, that makes you owe us a name,"
"Luna," Luna said as she sat up, looking at the gun beside Riley, "Where's my sister?"
"We don't know, we're going back to the place we found you to rendezvous with some of our mates," Riley replied as she passed her the gun Luna stared at, "Make that insurance, make sure we don't fuck with you,"
Luna could feel her body starting to be extra sensitive, she looked at her right foot and saw nothing, it was a stump, she took a deep breath, avoiding a panic attack, putting the gun aside she held her knee down, she could feel the stump burning, she wanted to scream, but after four years of keeping hold of pain in silence, she clenched her teeth hard, "okay calm down," Luna said to herself, as Riley looked at her in shock, she thought the girl was hyperventilating, so she tapped his neck and told him to stop.
"What why?" he asked.
"Freckles is hyperventilating," Riley said as she sat beside Luna, rubbing the brunette's back, "Dude you okay?"
"Where's my leg?" she asked, her breath was laboured and her eyes were wide open, "what happened?"
She panicked, not only did her foot got chopped to God know's where and her sister isn't there beside her. She just needs clarity, she needs Lily. "Where's Lily?!" she yelled before accidentally opening the carriage door beside her, making her fall to the tarmac hard, her head hits the curb and her sight went dark.
"Lily where are you?"
"Lils, where are you?"
"Sis?"
She looked left and right, and her hands felt heavy, she looked down, and in her grips was an M4, a heavy gun it was, her body was covered with an old army uniform, and looking around she saw the walls that belongs to a school, blood trails everywhere, the lights flickered violently, and bodies laid lifeless on the floor, some were students, and some were soldiers, "King's Alley High," the banner on the walls said, cocking the gun, Luna walked down the hallways, she could hear the monster's shrieks, and then she saw a door ajar, she could hear a kid inside, crying, carefully she opened the door wide, under a table was a little blonde kid, carefully she kneeled in front of her, "Are you okay? what's your name?" she asked as she puts the rifle down on the floor, "come here,"
The kid didn't budge, she looked at Luna's freckled face and screamed before fading into a mist, "w-what?" Luna asked as the girl disappears, grabbing the gun she walked out into the hallway, the corpses turned from "recently murdered" to "millennia-old" as she saw them turn into skeletons, creeped out by the sight, Luna sprinted for the doors, entering what seemed to be a functioning refugee centre, she saw soldiers guarding it, she looked into her arms, and the gun was gone replaced by some blankets and two tins of cola, she was wearing a jeans jacket similar to Sam's above a purple t-shirt and a pair of army issued pants. Looking around she saw Lily sitting on a bed, walking over to her Lily jumped and hugged her, "Luna you came back,"
"Of course Lily, I promised," Luna replied with a smile on her face, she lost the sense of which is real and which is not.
"Did you find my family?" Lily asked.
"We are family, silly bug," Luna replied with a smile on her face.
"What do you mean? are they dead?"
"Wait what?" Luna looked at Lily's face, she saw the bracelet on her wrist, "Lily McLachlan" it wrote.
"You promised," Lily's voice turned rough, Luna looked at the girl and she saw her slowly dissolving into dust.
"Lily no, Lily!"
"LILY!" Luna screamed, it was the blue sky in front of her and she saw the book store about six yards away from the horse carriage, the other two weren't there, so she jumped off the carriage, she tried to stand up, but she forgot the fact that she only has one foot. "argh," she groaned in pain. "Lily, please be okay," she said as started to crawl over to the book store. Before she even made a yard, the two pulled her up, "Let me go, I need to get my sister,"
"Relax Luna, we just want to help," Riley said as she slides the prosthetic leg on Luna's stump, "We don't want you hurt," Riley continued as she strapped it tightly, it hurts, the wound wasn't healed enough, but she needs this, "Come on let's get you there," Riley said as she held Luna's right arm whilst he held her left. "There we go,"
When they got inside, Luna saw the broken wheelchair and the shredded backpack, but no Lily, she panicked until she saw the stack of pictures that she kept hidden, it laid on the counter, and the picture on top was the picture from the bus, four years ago.
