When Robert Langdon left Paris to finally return home to the U.S. he went to the Louvre to visit the grail one last time. Reaching the points of the Pyramids he knelt to pay his respects to the great Mary Magdalene. Suddenly he felt a hard hand surrounding his throat.

"Speak and die," said a woman's voice. "Leave Paris and everything in it behind you. If you return I will kill you and Sophie." The hand released and Langdon turned to see who had been holding him and found no one, only found a floating medallion with the sign of Baphomet on it. He reached out to grab the medallion and it fell to the floor with a loud clatter.

"What the hell?" Langdon said under his breath. He picked up the medallion and saw the sign of Baphomet glowing on the front and 'we will rise again' written on the back.

Finally coming home from visiting her Grandmother and Brother, Sophie was looking forward to seeing Robert again. It had been a month since their last encounter and she found her self constantly thinking about him.

As she was climbing off the train platform, a large woman in a long skirt walked up right beside her.

"Hello Sophie." She said.

"Who are you?" Asked Sophie. Stopping to look at the strange woman. "How do you know my name?"

"Keeping walking Sophie, and stay close to me, unless you want Professor Langdon to die." As Sophie heard these words her heart skipped a beat. She grew worried.

"What do you mean?" She had started walking again, right beside the woman.

"If you ever want to see Langdon again you will be coming with me." The woman reached over and grabbed Sophie's wrist tightly. Sophie was to worried to realize where they were going. This woman had Robert, what was she going to do?

"Where are we going?" Asked Sophie as they walked through a door marked 'employees only'.

"You will see in good time." Said the woman. Dragging Sophie along at a continually accelerating speed. Sophie was tripping on her self as she tried to keep up.

She was being kidnaped and all she could think was 'Will Robert be ok?'
