I wasn't sure where he was going to lead me but he took my hand making sure that no one was following us. I looked at him knowing that it wasn't exactly like I could say no but he was going to be leading me away. He pulled me in a corner and made sure that everyone else was nowhere in sight.

"Aleksander, where are you taking me?" I asked

He seemed to be determining something as he was looking at the surrounding area as he looked at me. He led me away where we soon saw Genya and I smiled at her. Aleksander did not want to let me go, that was clear. I wondered what he was going to do but that was to be determined.

"Genya, have your maids get things ready. We leave tonight for the north." Aleksander said

I looked at him knowing I thought about that but I didn't think he knew. Genya seemed hesitant but she nodded "Of course, Moi Soverennyi." Genya said and he let me go as he pushed me forward to go with Genya. I had so many thoughts but that was the least of my problems.

Genya led me to my room and she thought about it for a few minutes as she left me there. I decided on what I wanted to bring, which wasn't much. I had to be conservative but I knew Baghra wasn't going to like this one bit. Genya soon came back with a small thing for me and I looked at her questioningly.

"General Kirigan will take care of the rest of what needs to be done but you will have a few choices on what to wear under your Kefta." Genya said

"You don't think this is a little fast?" I asked

"Why? You will have a tent." Genya said

"His tent, Genya. He wants me to share his tent." I said

Genya looked at me as she knew this was going to be something else. She went through her bag and handed me a few items. I noticed they were makeup items that I was used to doing myself and I wouldn't have her so I had to do them myself.

"Should I pack some items for the night?" Genya asked

"Genya!" I said as I blushed, "We are heading to check the first army, I'm not going to seduce the general."

"You never know what the general will do, we all feel that pull. You are wearing his color already so I am assuming there is more." Genya said

"Absolutely not, I am going out of being nice and making an order." I said

Genya just smiled but helped me get things ready though and though I told her no I had a feeling she did it anyway. As we were finishing up we heard a knock on the door. We walked for me to eat something before heading out and we decided to eat together. By the time we were done it was almost time to go. It was getting dark as we walked out of the room coming face to face with the darkling.

"Amira, it's time to leave." Aleksander said "Ivan tended to her bag with the carriage."

Ivan took the bag and then he took my hand leading me outside as I saw the sunset. I knew that I wasn't supposed to really leave but he seemed determined. I heard someone walk out as we were heading to the carriage. He opened the door for me to get in just as I heard Baghra's voice.

"What are you doing? She's going to be training." Baghra said

"She needs space, she's going with me. You can't stop me." Aleksander said "Amira get in the carriage."

I knew I couldn't refuse an order so I got in the carriage as I saw Ivan was there already and sitting across from me. Aleksander got in the carriage and closed the door before Baghra could stop him and then it started to move. I noticed outside the window a few Grisha were coming with us. Once it reached a certain time I started to doze a bit and I felt him adjust me where my head was laying on him.

"Rest for now, preserve your strength for tomorrow morning." Aleksander said

I tried and somehow was able to fall asleep in this awkward position, maybe I was tired from the performance. All I knew was when I woke up it was morning and the carriage was stopping as Ivan got out first then let us get out. I knew this was new for me to even be this far away from the little palace with everything going on.

"Moi Soverennyi, you have arrived." A general of the first army said as he looked at Aleksander then he noticed me. "You brought someone with you.."

"Amira, she has never been out of the little palace. Have one of your best escort her around while I handle matters." Aleksander ordered

"Of course." The general said "Nicolas!"

I saw the tracker uniform I'd heard about and he looked at me as I stood by the general. For a moment he had a look of realization. I thought about it before I shared the same look and Aleksander and the general must have known.

"Nico." I said

"You know each other?" Aleksander asked

"We were neighbors and friends before I was sent away." I said

Aleksander didn't seem too bothered by it as I looked at him but the general assigned Nico to keep me safe around the army. I looked as Aleksander nodded as I walked away with Nico, at first just looking around as he seemed hesitant. We both were hesitant to talk to each other, he was the first army and I was the 2nd army.

"So you and the black general." Nico said

"Nico, I don't want to talk about my personal life. Nine years ago I left for the little palace and you probably have a lot that has happened." I said

He kept trying to get me to open up and after so long I was answering his questions. We talked and laughed as he showed me things that the first army had. I was not used to being out and it was clear I had stares coming from every direction when it came to the first army. I wore the black general's color with my own design on my Kefta.

"So what summoner are you?" Nico asked

"A unique one." I said

We joked and told stories of what we could but I kept my dual summoning on the low but anyone who looked at my kefta would notice the two designs. Nico eventually did and it seemed to click as we walked but he didn't ask. Still, I was getting hungry and he led me over to their mess hall.

"I don't know if this is a good idea." I said

"I'll get it." Nico said

I stayed there standing as he went in and soon came back. We walked and found a place to sit between the first army and Grisha tents. I was going to get some of it but Nico decided to feed me like I was more important than him. I wasn't one to be fed but I let him. Little did I know Aleksander noticed this cause he soon came over after we were done and seemed unimpressed.

"Amira, let me show you where the tent is. Let the tracker tend to some other things for a bit." Aleksander said and I just nodded as I took his hand once he offered it.

He led me away but I looked back at Nico knowing that we didn't get a long time to catch up. Nico was watching as we walked to the black tent which was his tent. He asked if I was with the black General but I hadn't really said yes or no. I hadn't fully decided whether I was going to be with him.

I was enjoying catching up with Nico. I thought
