"What...What just happened?" Sora asked as his vision returned. The last thing he remembered, he and Ruby were going to look at the strange book, then there was a bright flash of light, and now they were...some place completely different, standing in a clearing.

Looking around with equal confusion after unshielding her eyes, Ruby said, "I'm...not sure. But I get the feeling we're not in Traverse Town anymore. In fact, this place feels...oddly peaceful." If there was a dictionary picture for the word 'peaceful', this place would definitely be the number one contender as far as Ruby was concerned. Even her old home in the woods had nothing on this place. Bright green fields rich with vegetation and the gentlest of zephyrs blowing through the grass and trees, this place had it all and then some.

As the pair looked around, they saw something further out in the center of the clearing. A log with something or someone sitting on it. A more cautious person might have thought a bit more before moving closer. Sora and Ruby however...they weren't much for caution, especially in a place as peaceful and relaxing as this.

As the pair approached the figure upon the log, they had a clearer look at it. Their new acquaintance seemed to be...a rotund, short, orange colored, stuffed bear with little beady black eyes, and wearing a bright red shirt. He was nudging his mitten-like hand against his head with one eye closed tightly as if something was wrong. As they drew closer, they heard four words spoken in a gentle, lighthearted, falsetto voice.

"Think, think. Think, think."

He was...thinking? It was a rather unusual way of doing. Both Sora and Ruby looked at each other, both of that very mind, before they approached the little bear. They could both tell off the bat that he was anything but dangerous. Maybe he lived in this book?

"Hi there!" Ruby said cheerfully as she and Sora walked up to their new acquaintance.

"What's wrong?" Sora asked the little beleaguered bear.

"Nothing. Just, thinking." the bear answered, continuing to tap his hand against his head. The little guy definitely seemed like a bear of very little brain, but at least he was friendly.

"Oh." Sora said, though he didn't really get it. He'd never heard anyone think out loud like this bear did. At least not in the manner of actually saying 'think'. Regardless, at least they knew he was friendly.

"What about?" Ruby asked with a tilt of her head. Something about this little bear just made her want to hug and squeeze and cuddle him almost as much as Zwei. Though, she chose to put that thought off for now. Whatever was on his mind definitely seemed to be bothering him a great deal.

"I was thinking of...how to say goodbye to Pooh." His answer just confused them even more.

"Pooh?" Sora and Ruby asked simultaneously, not having the foggiest idea of what he meant by that.

"Yes?" the bear said, as if responding to their simultaneous use of the word 'Pooh'.

It was then that it clicked in their heads. "Wait a second. You're Pooh?" Sora asked, hopping onto log on Pooh's right side.

"Is Pooh your name?" Ruby asked curiously, following Sora onto the log on Pooh's left side. A rather odd name, yet quite fitting given the air of peacefulness and cheer she got from this place. How long had it been since she felt so relaxed?

"Yes. I'm Winnie the Pooh. 'Pooh' for short. Who are you?" the tiny bear said, looking from one of them to the other. Winnie the Pooh. A most unusual name, but then again they'd been to other worlds before. Such things had become expected at this point.

"I'm Sora." "And I'm Ruby." They both introduced cheerfully, drawing a tiny smile to Pooh's face.

"Hello Sora. Hello Ruby," Pooh responded to the pair with a slightly greater bit of cheer in his voice. Cheer that faded in almost a split second as he asked them, "Have you come to say goodbye to Pooh, too?"

"What? Of course not." Ruby said with a soft laugh. Sora let out an amused chuckle of his own as he asked, "Yeah. Why would we do that? We've only just met."

Pooh seemed to grow more disheartened as he looked out toward the beautiful green trees and hills that dotted the warm, welcoming landscape.. "Because everyone has gone away." he answered sadly.

"Gone away?" Ruby asked, not understanding. She exchanged a worried look with Sora who questioningly followed suit, saying, "What do you mean?"

The disheartened Pooh kept his wistful gaze on the horizon as he explained. "Well, we all lived here in the Hundred Acre Wood. And we'd take walks together or play Pooh Sticks. And every day I'd eat some honey. Just one small smackeral would taste very good right now." He rubbed his belly at the mention of food, but the sullen tone in his voice was still very prominent. Even more so when said with a glum sigh in his voice, "But now everyone is gone. All my friends, and my favorite Hunny Tree too. Everyone must have gone away while I was napping, I think."

Ruby and Sora looked to each other, both of them feeling sad for the poor bear. Even if it wasn't the same situation, something about what Pooh described reminded them of their own worlds and friends being taken by the Heartless. The difference here of course was the world itself was incomplete with people in it missing. But it was enough to make them sad for Pooh.

"So who knows," Pooh continued as he hopped from the log. "Maybe I shall end up going somewhere as well. But I wonder, how do I say goodbye to myself? Think, think, think." His last words were quieter and he patted his temples, trying to think of such a way to do something which...under normal circumstances would sound silly.

Instead, it made Sora and Ruby feel all the more sad for him. This little guy was all by himself in this big place and none of his friends were likely returning. If only there was something they could do for him.

"Oh, my tumbly is getting rather rumbly." Pooh said, walking off into the woods down the hill.

Both Ruby and Sora couldn't help but feel sad at Pooh's lonesome sadness. All of his friends were gone, hardly anything was around anymore that he loved, and he was thinking that he would disappear as well. "Poor little guy..." Ruby said sympathetically.

"How could something like this happen?" Sora wondered out loud. This place didn't seem to have a speck of darkness, let alone Heartless. So how could his friends have up and vanished like this?

"Come on. Let's go after him." Ruby suggested. At the very least, they should keep him a bit of company while they're here. Following after her, Sora and Ruby walked along the path that Pooh went down. Wandering through the verdant, peaceful woods, they soon came to a tree with...a small window and a door on it. Above the door was a sign that said 'MR SANDERZ' in bright gold letters. Next t it was a little bell with a smaller sign that said...'RNIG ALSO'. Ruby couldn't help letting out a stifled giggle at the silly spelling. More and more she found herself liking this world. Sora couldn't deny it either as he too stifled a laugh of his own.

From inside the house, they both heard a faint "Pooh-coo! Pooh-coo! Pooh-coo! Pooh-coo! Pooh-coo! Pooh-coo! Pooh-coo! Pooh-coo!" Almost like some sort of coo-coo clock. Ever curious, the two youths opened the door to the literal tree-house.

Inside, sitting down on the floor was Pooh, who didn't even seem to realize he had company. For his attention was on the round jar in his hands. "Oh bother. There's no more honey left." he said sadly as there wasn't even a drop of his favorite food in that jar erroneously spelled 'HUNNY'. "If only the Hunny Tree would visit. Then I could eat my fill." Pooh mused wistfully, still paying no mind to Sora and Ruby who couldn't help, again, feeling bad for the poor, lonely, rumbly in his tumbly, bear.

Sora and Ruby shared a sympathetic frown. The poor bear didn't seem to realize they came to visit him. With a shared sigh, they opened the door and went back outside. "Poor Pooh bear..." Ruby said morosely. Sora crossed his arms as they stood in front of the fireplace in front of Pooh's house. "We've got to do something. But what?" Sora followed, wracking his brain for anything that could help.

"Let me guess," rang out an aged, refined voice. To Sora and Ruby's surprise, there on the other side of the fire pit was a tall owl with broad shoulders who seemed to be moving his wings and feathers like they were hands and fingers. "You'd like to know what happens next. Unfortunately, some of the pages are missing, so I can't tell you yet. The pages are scattered over many worlds. Would you find them for us?"

The duo of youngsters were a little taken aback by this sudden, unexpected explanation, "Huh? Pages?" Sora asked. What did he mean by that? At first Ruby wasn't sure what it meant either, but a moment later, her eyes widened with realization. The book, Merlin mentioning a secret about pages, the light, suddenly they were here... "Sora! We're inside that book! The one from Merlin's house!" she exclaimed.

"We...We are?!" Sora asked with surprise. Ruby nodded rapidly as she shared what she put together. "Think about it! Merlin said there was a great secret the missing pages will unlock. We opened the book, there was that bright light, and the next thing we know, we're in this place! Now this guy...or, this bird, um... who are you?"

"Ah yes, so sorry. I didn't introduce myself. My name is Owl. Pleasure to meet you both." the bird introduced with a chipper nod.

Owl...A rather self-explanatory name. But then again, simplicity seemed to be a hallmark of this world from the time they'd spent in it thus far. "I'm Ruby. This is Sora," Ruby said as Sora waved to him. With that introduction out of the way, Ruby turned back to Sora, finishing her explanation. "Anyway, I think the book itself is another world! THIS world!"

Sora wasn't sure at first. Though he didn't have much in the way of ideas, so... "That...might make sense? I mean, all of Pooh's friends are missing and so are those pages. So if the pages are part of the book and the book is this world... then that means this world is torn apart. Literally." As he worked it out, it fortunately seemed to make more sense to Sora...gradually.

"Then we need to find wherever those pages are and put them back together," Ruby said, sharing a determined nod with Sora. It was then however that Ruby realized something rather important. "Um. How do we get back?"

Sora realized it too and immediately found himself at a loss. "Good question. I wish we could just go there-"

What both of them didn't notice however was that their bodies seemed to start fading away in sparkles of light. Sparkles which grew all the more bright until suddenly they were gone in a literal flash.

"-as easily as we went...in?" Sora's words trailed off when he suddenly realized, they weren't in the 100 Acre Wood anymore. Sure enough, as if the appearance of their friends wasn't indication enough, both Ruby and Sora knew that they were back in Merlin's house! "Uhh, hey guys." Sora said, waving to them.

A gesture which drew a sigh from Donald who pinched his brow, and a cheerful wave from Goofy who asked in an equally cheerful manner, "Did ya both have fun in there?" only for a certain Schnee Heiress to storm between them looking utterly livid.

"'Hey guys'!? That's all you have to say for yourself!?" Weiss reprimanded as she stormed up to the pair. "Do you have any idea how utterly stupid that stunt you just pulled was?! You just jumped into a strange book without knowing what it was or did!"

Sora and Ruby both leaned back at Weiss's sudden, incensed mood. Sora had a much easier time thinking of comebacks with Donald, yet Weiss's demeanor left him stunned and at a loss for what to say.

Ruby however found herself smiling and saying, "Aww, Weiss. You were worried about us, weren't you?"

Sora briefly looked at Ruby like she was crazy. This yelling was Weiss being worried? How did that work? Going by Weiss's rapid blink and the embarrassed blush that touched her cheeks however, Ruby hit the nail on the head. "W-What!? I...Th...W-Well of course I was worried about you, you dunces! But not nearly so worried as you might think! I'm just...trying to make sure the team doesn't fall apart!"

"She was actually the most worried about you two, even after Merlin assured us you weren't in danger." Blake's little interjection just made Weiss's blush all the more red. "B-Blake, shut up!" And her protestation simply drew a tiny smirk to Blake's lips.

"Well I knew they'd be fine. I wasn't worried in the slightest." Donald boasted with a confident wave of his hand.

"A-hyuck. But Donald, you were pacin' back and forth the whole time they were gone." Goofy said, drawing an irritated glare and a quacking grumble from the now embarrassed duck.

Pyrrha giggled before looking to Sora and Ruby. "So what happened while you guys were there?"

Ruby smiled and seemed more joyful than usual. "There was this little bear named Pooh. He was so adorable," she went on as Zwei approached the lectern where the book was by climbing onto the nearby bed then sniffed the book curiously. "There was a huge forest with a beautiful sky decorated with fluffy clouds and just being there made me feel serene. I think Pooh said it was called the 100 Acre Wood."

The smile on Sora's face from Ruby's behavior eventually faded as he looked to the others. "But that world is almost entirely empty. Pooh has friends that are missing. I think it's because of the missing pages from that book. They're one in the same according to this other person we met, Owl. He said the pages were scattered to many worlds."

Juane looked contemplative. "So along with your friends, our friends, the Keyholes, King Mickey and Alice, now we need to find missing pages? Jeez. Why don't we open up our own 'lost and found' at this rate?"

"Hey, that's not funny." Donald retorted.

"Well, regardless. Do keep your eyes peeled. It would be a shame if this world were to remain broken up." Merlin suggested. A suggestion Sora and Ruby were more than motivated to follow through with after meeting poor, lonely Pooh.

Just then, Sora remembered something else he meant to ask about. "Oh, Merlin? What should I do with this?" he said, taking out the gemstone Leon gave him.

The old wizard came to inspect it and hummed. "Ahh, I never expected to see one of these. I suggest you speak with the Fairy Godmother. She'll be able to help you with that."

"Did somebody say my name?" said the voice of the aged woman in question as she stood up from reading a book of her own.

Turning at the sound of the warm, aged, maternal voice of the Fairy Godmother, Sora made his way over to her, holding out the gem. "Do you know what this is?"

A sad expression touched the Fairy Godmother's face when she looked upon the gem. "Oh, the poor thing! He has turned into a summon gem." she said, her voice now full of sympathy.

"Summon gem? What's that?" Ruby asked curiously.

"This little creature lived in a world that was consumed by darkness." The Fairy Godmother explained. "When a world vanishes, so do its inhabitants. But this one had such a strong heart, he became a gem instead of vanishing with his world."

As they listened to her explanation, Blake looked at the gem intently. "So the being experienced the destruction of his world and he became the gem because his heart survived it?" she summarized, earning a nod from the Fairy Godmother.

"Can he come out of it?" Sora asked hopefully.

"Yes, but only his spirit. All he needs is a little push." The Fairy Godmother answered, smiling as she raised her wand. "Now watch!" she urged eagerly. A moment later, she began waving and twirling and flicking her wand about in a gentle, rhythmic manner as she suddenly began to sing.

Salagadoola mechicka boola
Bibbidi-bobbidi-boo
Put 'em together and what have you got?
Bibbidi-bobbidi-boo.

Everyone's eyes widened with awe as a stream of sparkles emerged from the Fairy Godmother's wand and swirled around the Summon gem. The gem suddenly began to form some sort of silhouette in the center as she continued.

Salagadoola mechicka boola
Bibbidi-bobbidi-boo
It'll do magic, believe it or not
Bibbidi-bobbidi-boo

The image grew clearer as she sang on. It looked like an animal of some sort. A very regal one. It got Ruby wondering, "Maybe he's a lion?"

Now, salagadoola meens
And mechicka booleroo
But the thingamabob that does the job
Is bibbidi-bobbidi-boo

As they watched, Ruby couldn't help cheerfully bopping to the rhythm of the Fairy Godmother's tune.

Oh, salagadoola Mechicka boola Bibbidi-bobbidi-boo
Put 'em together and what have you got?
Bibbidi-bobbidi
Bibbidi-bobbidi
Bibbidi-bobbidi-boo

With a wave of her wand, the summon gem glowed brightest in a flash of green light. It was gone from Sora's hand and his Keyblade momentarily had the same light surrounding it all over. "What just happened?" Juane said in amazement.

"The summon gem's magic and the spirit of who it is connected to have become one with your Keyblade. Now whenever you call, he will help you," The Fairy Godmother said as though delighted. Her expression and demeanor turned more serious yet remained benevolent. "Keep in mind though that summoning magic can only be used once in a great while. And though it does not drain you of your own magic, eventually they will vanish. Using this sort of power should only ever be used in emergencies. If you ever find anymore of them? Bring them to me."

Pyrrha seemed a little worried. "Ma'am? Is this how they will be for the rest of their life? Just gemstones that lay about until discovered and can only be called upon every once in a while?"

The Fairy Godmother smiled warmly again. "Don't worry. Once the worlds are restored, they will return there. You need only defeat the ones responsible for causing chaos in the worlds and peace shall be restored." It relieved Pyrrha to hear that as the Fairy Godmother turned to Sora again. "Sora. Please help save them." Sora looked back at the Fairy Godmother, clutching the summon gem with a firm nod of determination.

"Well now. I believe that is enough diversions for one day." Merlin said with a clearing of his throat. He raised his wand up toward the ceiling, and with a swish and flick, a diamond shaped portion of the ceiling slowly glided down toward his visitors, landing right beside them. Sora blinked with surprise, passing a curious look toward Merlin who grinned at him and pointed up toward the diamond shaped hole that the platform came from.

"Step right up, my boy, and we shall begin your training."
