Meanwhile, over in the tower, Dexter and Humphrey were sitting at their monitors furiously typing on their keyboards.
"Hex!" said Humphrey as he hit the armrest of his chair after an alert sound came from his monitor.
"What happened?" asked Dexter.
"The simulation failed, if we use this version of the code then we're just going to lose Raven to the digital sea," said Humphrey. On his screen was a red flashing triangle with a yellow exclamation point.
"Then we go back to the previous one, it gave us a twenty percent chance of materializing her," said Dexter.
"At this rate Queen will manage to take Ever After before we can free Raven," said Humphrey as he removed his glasses to rub the bridge of his nose out of frustration.
"You have to keep your hope that we'll get through this, Humphrey," said Dexter.
"I know, but it's getting harder to do that with every failure," said Humphrey while leaning back in his chair.
"Head back to your room and get some sleep, I'll keep going," said Dexter.
"Now way, we're both going to keep working on this until we get this done," said Humphrey. The elevator then started to head down to their floor.
"Did you call for that?" he asked while looking around his monitor to Dexter.
"No, and the others didn't hext to say that they were coming over either," said Dexter. The two then hurried out of their seats and grabbed some nearby swords which they had stored there in case of attacks from Queen.
"Here we go," said Humphrey as the elevator stopped and the doors opened.
"What… what are you doing here?" asked Dexter as the two looked at who had been on the elevator out of shock.
"I had a feeling that it was time that I told you the truth," said a male voice.
"But only for the two of you right now, Miss. White and the others do not need to know about this yet," came a male voice as the person walked out of the elevator which closed behind them.
