AN: sorry, i forgot to post yesterday. to make up for it, ill post again this afternoon

Back at the school, children were talking about the recent revelations. "Are you telling me that I put her lies on the Ladyblog? God, I'm such a useless reporter. I didn't even check my sources," Alya moaned.

"Come on Alya, everyone fell for it. You can't blame yourself. Just learn from this and now you'll always check your sources," Marinette reassured.

Mme Bustier had all but given up on getting order and was just letting them talk themselves out. She was on the phone with Mr Damocles, requesting a meeting between him, her, Lila Rossi and Lila's mother.

The akuma fluttered in completely unnoticed. It flapped its way towards Lila who grinned when she saw it. "Yes," she muttered to herself.

Ivan noticed the butterfly and shouted, "akuma! Lila, get away."

Lila grabbed the akuma and put it in her necklace. "Hello, Hawk Moth. Give me more power this time and I will bring you Ladybug and Chat Noir's Miraculouses."

Moth chuckled to himself. "Hello, Volpina. It's so nice to see you again. This time you will be more powerful. Your vision will become reality. No one, not even Ladybug, will be able to dispute your lies. You already know what I want in return."

"Yes, Hawk Moth." Lila was coated in purple smoke like a cocoon and when it disappeared she was transformed. She looked much like she did before, but where the white should've been there were Ladybug spots instead. "To all who disputed my lies, behold a Labyrinth from which you may never escape!" She began playing her flute.

"Run!" Marinette shouted and they started towards the door. Before they could get anywhere though tall stone walls formed around them into narrow corridors. "It's only an illusion Volpina. You can't trick us now that we know your secret."

They heard Volpina laugh. "By all means try to walk through it. That would be most amusing to see. Sadly, I don't have time to stand and watch; I've got some jewellery to find."

Marinette pressed her hand against the cold, stone wall. "It's solid. How is it solid?" Marinette called to the other students through the wall.

"I'm not sure but we can figure it out once we've found each other!" Adrien shouted back.

After a couple of minutes of shouting and trying to navigate the maze, they all managed to get to the same place.

"Her costume was different this time, it appears to have some of Ladybug's design in it. Ladybug has the miraculous of creation I believe, so maybe it's allowed her to create solid illusions," Alya guessed. Her extensive research had made her pretty knowledgeable in that aspect.

"Speaking of which, did you guys see how Lila grabbed the akuma?" Ivan said.

"Yeah. She got akumatised on purpose," Max agreed, shocked.

"Why would she do that?" Kim asked.

"Because she's a lying, manipulative b*tch," Marinette stated matter-of-factly.

"I knew that but I didn't know she was this evil," Adrien agreed.

"I still can't believe I put her lies on the Ladyblog. I'll have to remove them right away."

Marinette looked around at the looming walls. "I don't think that's of utmost importance right now."

Alya looked down sheepishly. "Right. Ladybug will save us."

"But we can't just wait for her. We have no idea what Volpina is doing and she might be busy. We need to find our own way out. Any ideas?"

"In mythology, the only way to get through the Labyrinth was to always turn left. It's not much but maybe we could try it here?" Max suggested.

Marinette nodded. "It's the best plan we've got. C'mon."

Mme Bustier volunteered to walk upfront.

"I'll go with her because I've studied the myths." Max moved to take his spot at the front of the group. "Let's just hope Lila hasn't," he added, quietly.

"That sounds like a good idea. I'll go at the back and make sure no one gets left behind." Marinette decided.

Adrien stood next to her, with a hint of a blush on his cheeks. "I'll join you."

"Oh… ok." Marinette stuttered as her cheeks heated up slightly.

"No getting distracted you two," Alya joked. Some of the other kids laughed while Marinette blushed bright red and Adrien looked away, embarrassed.

"Let's just go," Marinette begged before they could say anything else.

The group began their walk through the Labyrinth. They hadn't gone far before they heard a bellow echoing around the corridors.

"What was that?" Mylène asked, nervously, moving to cling onto Ivan's arm.

"Adrien? Do you think it would be plausible that Lila studied Greek mythology?" Max queried with a slight tremor in his voice.

"If you're saying what I think you're saying then yes. I think she will know this bit."

"What are you guys talking about?" Rose questioned.

"If my hunch is correct, we are stuck in here with the Minotaur."

Juleka and Rose huddled closer together while the class stood silent, in shock. Everyone began looking around them wildly as if the monster was about to jump out at them. Mme Bustier took a deep breath before saying, "It's not here right now and I think the best thing we can do is just continue walking and hope we don't find it. We'll cross that bridge when we come to it. For now, we keep walking." The class obeyed and began following Mme Bustier, who was now walking slower and more carefully, checking around corners before turning.

Marinette looked down at her purse. "Tikki, I think it's time to transform," she whispered.

Before she could hide though they turned a corner into a large circular room with a high, domed roof. It had intricate designs on the walls of various heroes falling prey to a monster. They walked into the room, staying in a line. Out of a corridor at the end of the room came a monster. The same monster from the drawings. It was a huge man, at least 12 feet tall, with bulging biceps and triceps that made it look like his arms were stuffed with basketballs. Where its head should be there was a huge bull head with two horns jutting out of the top with points as sharp as spears. Its neck was a mass of muscle twice the width of Ivan that rippled as it turned its head. It glared at them with bloodshot eyes and bellowed.

The students all screamed and began backing up. Mme Bustier tried to shield them with her arms but Marinette and Adrien ran forward to face the monster.

"Mme Bustier, take the others away, we'll hold it off," Adrien told her.

She shook her head. "No. I'm not leaving anyone behind."

The bull began to paw the ground, preparing to charge. "When it starts to charge, wait until the last moment before jumping out of the way. It can't change directions well," Max informed everyone. The monster charged and they all jumped out of the way. But as the monster reached the end of the line. it had learned its lesson and reached out, grabbing Alya as she jumped.

"Alya!" Marinette screamed as she ran forward. The Minotaur lifted her up and Marinette jumped onto his arm. She pried his fingers apart and Alya dropped to the floor. The Minotaur went to grab Marinette but she climbed out of the way and straddled on his shoulders. Adrien ran up and began jumping up and down, flailing his arms around in front of the monster.

"Hey, Roast Beef! Over here, chase me!" he taunted. The monster stopped grabbing for Marinette and prepared to charge. Adrien moved so the wall was behind him. The bull-man charged with both arms outstretched so Adrien couldn't jump out of the way. Just before the monster hit him he jumped up and Marinette pulled him over the Minotaur and he landed behind it. The Minotaur crashed into the wall and it crumbled. The rubble vanished into orange light and all that was left was a white horn, snapped off from the force. The bull-man bucked and thrashed around, trying to shake Marinette off as Adrien grabbed the horn. He stood just out of the way waiting for an opening.

Alya ran forward with her camera and began shouting at the monster, trying to take its attention away from Marinette. It stopped bucking, turned to look at Alya and began pawing the ground. Adrien took this as an opening and plunged forward with his horn, stabbing the monster in its chest. It disappeared in orange light with the horn and Marinette fell. Adrien managed to catch her before she hit the floor. They stayed in that position for a couple of seconds before Max cleared his throat and said, "We better get going. Let's just hope there aren't any other dangers in this Labyrinth."

Marinette hummed in agreement as Adrien helped her stand up. They bumped fists and said "Pound it," before blushing profusely and looking away.

As they began their trek through the maze, Adrien slipped away into another corridor. He let Plagg out of his shirt. "Chat Noir should get us out of this. Plagg, claws out!"

Marinette looked behind her and noticed Adrien was missing. "Where's Adrien?"

Nino whipped his head round to look at her. "What!?"

Marinette checked around her before saying, "Adrien's gone."

The class began to frantically search around calling Adrien's name. "Don't go too far," Max warned them. "Or we'll lose you too."

"I'll go and search for Adrien. You guys go ahead and try to find a way out." Marinette told them.

She took a couple of steps away from them but Alya stopped her, "But how will you find us again?"

Marinette turned to face them again. "Leave a trail of breadcrumbs for us to follow. No, wait." She pulled out a large ball of wool. "You hold onto this end and I'll hold onto the other end. Unravel it as you go. Then, when I've found Adrien, we'll be able to follow the thread to get back."

Max nodded and smiled. "I have to commend you on your genius Marinette. It's like Ariadne's string from the myths."

"Thanks, Max."

"Good luck dudette," Nino said.

"Yeah, yeah, she's great. Now go find my Adri-kins!" Chloe ordered impatiently, stomping her foot.

Marinette ran off into the maze and opened up her purse. "Tikki, spots on!" She ran for a short while before crashing into Chat Noir as she turned a corner. She blushed slightly before speaking, "Ch-Chat Noir! Great. There's a kid lost in this Labyrinth called Adrien. We need to find him."

"Don't worry, he's fine, but we need to bring this place down."

Ladybug nodded. "If we destroy the illusion it will disappear. Use your Cataclysm on the wall."

"Got it. Cataclysm!" Chat Noir placed his hand on the wall and, instead of crumbling into dust, it vanished into orange light. They were stood in the court of the school and they saw the students and Mme Bustier stood not far from the exit.

Ladybug turned to Chat Noir. "The akuma is Volpina but her illusions are solid now. She also willingly accepted the akuma."

Alya saw Ladybug and ran over. "Ladybug! I knew you'd save us. Where's Marinette. She must have given you the string."

Ladybug looked down and noticed the string still in her hands. "Umm…"

Before she could try to come up with an explanation, they saw Stoneheart crash into the school. Everyone turned to look at Ivan.

"It's not me," he told them.

"It must be Volpina," Ladybug muttered before jumping on top of the school, followed by Chat Noir. They looked out over Paris and saw it overrun with different akuma. They even saw themselves in the mix.

"Excellent, Volpina. They will have no choice but to bring in other miraculous users. This is perfect. I will not only get the Ladybug and Black Cat miraculous', but also the others as well." hawkmoth said through his link with Volpina.

"It looks like we're going to need some backup Mi'Lady," Chat Noir said worriedly.

"I'll get the other miraculous, you recharge your kwami and do what you can to protect these students."

"Understood Bugaboo."

Ladybug swung away while calling behind her, "And don't call me that!" with less exasperation than normal, Chat Noir noted.
