In one of the many rooms found within the Mega Pizzaplex, there is a giant playground and Daycare center for the children whose parents bring them to visit. At the current moment, its guardian known as Sun could be found non-chalantly seated on his platform looking over the ball pit area. He is unaware of the chaos that now sweeps over the Pizzaplex or even the likes of Gregory being here. He merely hums to himself, his legs swaying back and forth in the air over the playground. However, a strange light on the back of his animatronic head is blinking, colored a bright purple. At the same time, in the many tunnels and halls connecting the lower levels, Captain Foxy is still angrily looking for a way back to the main floor. But it is unclear exactly where below the Pizzaplex he truly is by now…
FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY'S: SISTER LOCATION
- SUPERSTAR EDITION -
Hour 1.2: Who is Friend and Foe? Foxy's Grand Appearance
~ 12:10 am | Fazbear Gift Shop - Main Entrance ~
Freddy and Gregory headed through the main gates and entered the Fazbear Gift Shop as part of Vanessa's preparation plan. The two were just about wrapping up as Gregory slipped on a "Freddy's Crew" backpack, decorated with emoji like faces of the four main animatronics. He stood still while Freddy unzipped it from behind and put in a few essentials they had acquired, such as bandages, cream, some candy bars of varying sizes, a water bottle and a flashlight. Among these items, a small plush of Glamrock Freddy was also placed inside. Once fully stuffed, the animatronic zipped it back up.
"There we go. You are now fully stocked up and prepared for whatever we may come across tonight. Strangely, though….part of me STILL has a hard time accepting all of this." Freddy said. Gregory glanced over his shoulder before turning towards him.
"It'll be okay, Freddy. We'll find a way to help Chica and the others. That's what we agreed was our game plan." he said, patting his hand against his leg. Freddy glared down at him.
"N-No. I'm afraid you misunderstand." he said.
"Huh? Then…what ARE you having a "hard time accepting"?" the boy asked, looking puzzled. Freddy sighed.
"It's…It is the very IDEA Officer Vanessa instructed us to access the gift shop to pick out items you would need WITHOUT paying." he said. The worry on Gregory's face faded and now a look of utter stupidity filled it out.
"I know what our given situation is, b-but as the HEAD MASCOT of this Pizzaplex….STEALING these items, for ANY reason, just feels so wrong to me." he continued "So VERY wrong…" Gregory let out a heavy sigh.
"Seriously? I thought you wouldn't give a care about anything except entertaining kids? Don't kids NORMALLY try to take things without paying?" he asked. Freddy's expression turned stern as he leaned over.
"While you may be correct, young Gregory, that does not mean I accept such behavior…even if one IS a guest of the Pizzaplex." he replied. But Gregory merely shook his head, confusing Freddy.
"Wow. I didn't know the "mascot" of Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizzaplex had such a "Dad Complex". Wonder who programmed that into you." he replied, stunning his robotic friend. A bit surprised, Freddy quickly decided to change the subject as evident by him "clearing his throat".
"L-Let us just….put that aside for now. Do you still have the Fazwatch Vanessa gave you?" he asked. Gregory nodded, showing it strapped comfortably to his right wrist.
"Good. That will be our best way to communicate with her while we go our separate ways. We have to make sure to update her frequently about anything we may come across. Also, the Fazwatch has been synced up with my signal. This means that we can still communicate as well…even if WE should find ourselves separated." he continued "Even if that does not work, there is a button that will send out a radio signal only I can pick up." Gregory glanced at the button on the watch, the lower designed after Freddy's muzzle with said button modeled as Freddy's nose.
"In the opportunity that you need my assistance, use this to send out a distress signal. I will come to you no matter where you may be…given I have enough battery power at the time." he finished. Just then, he noticed Gregory pressing the button and it gave a small "cartoony themed" honk noise. A big grin came to his face as he begun pressing it in repetition, hearing the noise each time. But Freddy eventually put a hand in to stop him.
"REMEMBER...use it for emergency situations ONLY. We do not want the button to get broken due to "overusage"." he sternly said. Gregory lightly chuckled.
"S-Sorry. Couldn't help myself…" he said. With items situated, the two then left the lobby of the gift shop and made their way towards the upper floor, passing by the usual patrolling staff robots. Gregory did his best to stay out of their sight and remain close to Freddy.
"Do you…think the staff robots could be under whatever influence is affecting Chica and the others?" he whispered. Freddy glanced towards one with a flashlight, taking its usual route.
"I do not believe so. For the time being, though, maybe we should just leave them alone. Most of the animatronics and other robots that work here on the Pizzaplex are linked to the same system." he replied. After climbing the stairs, Gregory stopped and turned to Freddy.
"Then…what about you? How come you aren't acting creepy like the others?" he asked.
"I do not know. Perhaps…whatever signal was being emitted around the time this all happened was unable to reach me in the confides of my room. That should mean Chica, Roxy and Monty were out of theirs when they began acting strange." Freddy explained. Gregory thought for a moment, thinking back to when he was eating pizza with Freddy. Nothing had seemed out of the ordinary then and, by that point, he had no idea what was happening.
"Come on. We should continue to the Daycare. Officer Vanessa asked me to check in with the attendant about our current situaton." he said, beginning to walk again. But Gregory merely sighed.
"Oh goody. We get to go look around a place made for BABIES." he groaned. Just then, they both heard what sounded like another set of footsteps coming from the floor below. An eerie voice then called out.
"GREGORY….COME ON OUT."
They looked back as Gregory gasped, seeing Chica walking around between the gift shops. She still retained her zombie walking posture, effortlessly walking past the other staff bots.
"W-What the..? What's Chica doing up here?!" he asked, keeping his voice low.
"She must have found another way to the main entrance from the utility tunnels…or was able to break through the blockade we exited through. This can only mean the same can be said for the others. We must hurry and find the Daycare attendant. I can only hope he is all right." Freddy said. Gregory nodded, asking Freddy if he could hop into his chest cavity just to be safe. Freddy did not hesitate and helped Gregory inside before continuing along. Down below, Chica's head slightly twitched while she continued her patrol.
~ 12:12 am | Daycare Room - Upper Area ~
On the upper floors of the lobby, the two passed through a set of large colorful doors as they were now approaching the Daycare. Freddy looked around at the many decorations, kids drawings and posters displaying the Daycare attendant, Sun, on the walls. As he walked, Gregory peeked out a small opening from the robot's chest cavity, spying the vending machines with Freddy, Monty, Chica and Roxy on the fronts. Freddy eventually came to a stop as he eyed the shutter doors sealing off the entrance.
"It would appear that the Daycare has already shut down for the night. Gregory? Please step outside for a moment while I pull up the shutter." he said, allowing the boy outside first. He then reached down and took hold of the handles at the base, pulling it up as hard as he could. Due to the restrictions placed upon him by the technicians, he could only raise it high enough for Gregory to sneak beneath. Once he was through, the shutters dropped back down.
"F-Freddy?" Gregory asked, turning back. He just then got a message on his Fazwatch, bringing it up to see it was from Freddy.
Gregory, forgive me. Because of what happened to me earlier, I am on reduced power and such was unable to fully open the shutters to let myself in. Find the security desk located near the ball pit inside the Daycare. You should be able to find a way to open the shutters and let me in from there. But be careful.
"Well, looks like I'm on my own." he said, glancing around the room "That was awfully quick." Putting away his message, he ventured around the empty room with nothing but music from the advertisement boards playing around him. In the center, he saw a large statue that showcased a highly decorated animatronic standing with a smile on its face.
"I guess he's the Daycare attendant? That "Sun" guy Freddy meant?" the boy thought. He then noticed the largely netted area down below, where other things such as a massive jungle gym and play structures were set up.
"Whoa. How many kids do they watch to need a place THIS big?" he asked, shocked by the sheer size. Looking towards the reception counter, he could see what appeared to be the entrance to the ballpit area. It was a colorful slide that kids would take to go downstairs. But as he approached it, something else caught his attention. It looked like part of a newspaper hanging off the corner of the desk.
"Huh? What's that?" he thought. Quick as a flash, he rushed over and picked up the paper. Folding it back to the cover, he read the major headline title.
CASES OF MISSING CHILDREN CONTINUES TO RISE
"W-What the…? "Missing children"? Since when?" he asked, reading through the paragraphs "I don't remember anyone mentioning THIS before." Feeling this was important, he took off his backpack to slip the newspaper inside before zipping it up.
"Better show this to Vanessa. Could have something to do with why that rabbit lady dragged me here." he said. He then hurried towards the slide, peering around the room once more before plunging himself down it. He watched as many colorful sections passed him by, nothing but blurs rushing past his eyes, before he wound up diving head first into the ball pit. The balls rattled loudly as he quickly popped back up. A look of excitement was on his face, turning back to view the slide.
"Wow! That was AWESOME!" he proclaimed "If I come back here during the day, I SO gotta do that again!" Just then, he noticed something way up in the upper corners of the playground. It was Sun, the animatronic from the statue, standing upright on his platform. He surveyed the room before his sensors caught note of Gregory.
"Ho! Ho! Ho! Looks like we have a guest!" he cheerfully proclaimed. He then dived down into the ball pit like a high diver while Gregory watched.
"W-Was that him? Oh PLEASE tell me he's not what I'm currently IMAGINING him as!" Gregory thought, suddenly full of worry. He hustled as fast as he could through the ball pit while keeping his eyes peeled. Before he could reach the edge to climb out, Sun jumped out from nearby and hoisted the startled child in his arms.
"Oh! Well, look at YOU! You're sure up late! What brings you here? Are we having a slumber party, little guy? Where are all your friends?!" he asked, acting as excited as possible. Gregory hurried to try and break free while Sun helped him out and onto the playground floor.
"Hey! Put me down you maniac! I'm NOT a baby!" he yelled. Sun soon set him down on the ground as Gregory quickly maintained his balance. He then dusted off his shorts while Sun continued to eye him.
"Geez! What kind of daycare attendant jumpscares somebody like that?! You could SERIOUSLY cause a baby to either burst out in tears OR crap themselves from fright!" he retorted. However, Sun did not seem phased by his words and was ignoring him.
"So, what do you wanna do, superstar?! You wanna finger paint? Play pretend? Eat candy until we BURST?!" he continued, hyper as ever. Gregory slowly started backing away as Sun grew closer. He reached for his bag to draw out his flashlight.
"Back up you-!" Gregory shouted, interrupted when he felt nothing on his back. They both froze in place until Gregory looked over his shoulder. To his shock, his backpack was nowhere to be seen.
"What the?! My backpack! W-Where'd it go?!" he yelled "Don't tell me I dropped it after coming down the slide!" Sun fell silent while Gregory began to panic.
"Huh? What's wrong? Everything okay, superstar?" Sun asked.
"N-No! I lost something important! I-It was given to me by Freddy!" Gregory replied. Sun then gasped.
"Oh no! That's horrible!" Sun replied, glancing behind him "Hang on! I'll be right back!" He then started racing back towards the base of the slide. The animatronic leapt into the pit and began digging around at incredible speeds, evident by the plastic balls flying into the air. Sun soon came to a stop and jumped back out, landing near Gregory.
"Is this it?" he asked, showing him the very pack he lost.
"Y-Yeah! That's it! Thanks a lot!" Gregory replied. Sun lightly chuckled as he watched Gregory take it from his hands.
"I'm sorry for startling you earlier. Usually, most of our other guests know about me and how "eccentric" I can be." Sun explained, his voice now calmer "I hope you aren't mad at me. It's just part of my job." The young boy eyed Sun while he was taken aback a bit by his tone shift.
"Oh….no. I'm okay. And…thanks again for helping me out." he said "Actually, the reason I'm here is because the security guard, Vanessa, wanted me to come find you." Sun lightly gasped.
"Oh? How nice of her! Officer Vanessa truly is a really nice lady." he explained "Just between us, lemme tell you a secret. She occasionally comes by to bring the kids snacks, toys and sometimes joins in the fun with us. Though…that hasn't been as frequent as before lately." Gregory found a nearby child sized chair, pulling it up and plomping himself down. His backpack now sat comfortably on his lap.
"Yeah. I heard from Freddy that Vanessa's really nice. I….could see what he meant when I met her." Gregory said "But…let's just say something has happened lately. She wanted me to ask you if anything weird has happened in the Daycare lately." Sun turned his head.
"Hmmm? Anything…weird? W-Why? Is she okay?" he asked.
"Yeah. She's looking into something that is causing problems with Monty, Chica and Roxy. How have things been here for you?" Gregory continued "Anything you might know about could really help us. Freddy's looking into it as well." Sun began to think, placing a hand by his chin while his head rotated left and right like a clock.
"Let me think…..hmmm. I do not think so. I may have to check with my partner on that." he said.
"H-Huh? You mean another animatronic lives around here?" Gregory asked. But before Sun could say who it was, they both could hear something shifting around them as they eyed the ground beneath them. Sounds of a shuffling body and echoing metal footsteps radiated through the floor.
"W-What the…?" Sun asked, following the noise closely. Just then, Gregory noticed what appeared to be a "poorly hidden" hatch meant for employees. The hatch itself had a painted symbol of a sun and moon. Everything around them fell dead silent, Sun and Gregory now peering together at the hatch door. It was then thrown open with lightning speeds as, popping out of the ground, Captain Foxy leapt out like a gopher.
"FFFIIINNNAAALLLLYYY!" Foxy screamed. His sudden appearance caused both of them to fumble backwards, each screaming loudly at the same time. Now surfaced from the hatch door, Foxy panted heavily before "wiping his brow".
"Ugh! I thought I'd be lost down there for the rest of me life! That might be worse than having a case of cabin fever!" he groaned "Now…where in the name of the high seas AM I?" He put his hand above his eyes, scanning the playground. But his survey was cut short by Sun calling out.
"W-Who are you?! And why were you DOWN THERE?! Are you an intruder?!" he yelled. Foxy glanced down towards Sun standing before him, his diminuitive body only as tall as Foxy's waist. But the second he did, the fox pirate leapt back in shock.
"B-B-By Davy Jones' locker! What manner of witchcraft be THAT?!" he screamed, pointing his hook hand at Sun "S-Some kind of siren o-or be ye a servant of da Kraken?!" He then could hear Gregory's trembling and quickly swerved around, seeing the boy laid out on the ground with backpack by his legs.
"Oh me sea stars! F-Forgive me, young man!" Foxy proclaimed, suddenly taking a knee to Gregory. A look of utter confusion plagued their faces while Foxy bowed his head and plucked off his pirate cap in a manner of politeness.
"Welcome to Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizzaplex, ya lucky landlubber. Allow me to introduce me-self to you." he said "I be "Razor Hook" Foxy, cap'n of the infamous "Foxy Pirates", a crew of adventure seeking bilge rats that call this great place our "home away from home". Allow me to show you a grand ol' time while you are here. Maybe we'll be lucky enough to find buried treasure!" He then rose his head, showing a smile on his face to Gregory. But the boy was still spooked out of his mind, remaining dead silent. Foxy raised an eyebrow.
"Hmmm? What be wrong? Seagull got yer tongue?" he asked.
"W-Who did you say you are, again?" Gregory asked "Freddy didn't tell me there was some "crazy fox" living here." Foxy gasped.
"Me mate Freddy's still around? Arrr! Of course he'd be!" Foxy shouted, putting his hat back on. He then started surveying the area again.
"Where be that scallywag? Ol' Cap'n Foxy gotta give that bear a BIG OL' "bear hug" before I forget!" he asked. As the trio were accessing the situation together, something could be seen peeking in from the darkened corners of the Daycare. The "rabbit lady" could be seen looking on at Gregory in dead silence, eyes glowing bright red. She let out a little cackle before slinking away into the shadows like a snake.
