Face Up On a Gravel Road

You sparkle in the sun and die out in darkness

Fly on wings of Hippogriffs and hide from cloaked figures

Running from the fear caught on your lips

Until all that's left is sweets' wrappers.

You hang on words of trusted allies

But whom can you truly trust?

In the darkness there is no light

And you fight for the end of moonlight

Kids grow up and enter darkness

Now you are fighting for breath

Beware the enemy to your babies

As you hold tight and don't give way to his might

Wands fly out and you're fighting for daylight

How much you long for the sun to rise

You find yourself face to face with fear

As you lose and children take up their wands for you.
