FIVE NIGHT AT FREDDY'S: SECURITY BREACH
- SUPERSTAR EDITION -

~ Chapter: Afton ~

Afton's projection broadcast on the main stage finished up as his evil laughter still echoed across the Pizzaplex, irking the likes of Gregory and his friends still. However, as the for the evil mastermind himself, he could be seen struggling inside his rabbit costume as he was seen wandering slowly around the maintenance tunnels beneath the establishment. Suddenly, he came to a stop before bracing himself against the wall, thrusting an arm out. He begun panting, the tone of his breath close to signs of hyperventilation.

"Damn this c-c-cursed BODY!" he groaned, beating his chest with his other hand. Silence filled the halls, Afton all by himself without any sign of Vanny or another animatronic under his control. As he attempted to walk again, his hand remained against the wall and his fingers gently caressed alongside him. But just then, he came to a halt again as a strange chilling sensation seemed to come over him.

"W-What? No...not...YOU...again." he muttered. From behind, a strange silhouette began to take form as it seemingly connected to his shadow. It was a lighter shade of purple, had a hazy green outline and a look of total corruption on its face. It flashed a big grin in Afton's direction.

What's the hold up...old man?

More pain seemed to come upon Afton's body as the strange corrupted being closed in on his body, putting its hands on his shoulders.

I THOUGHT we would simply do whatever we WANTED once we had the child here...

While it spoke, all Afton could do was remain silent and kept his back to the creature, not trying to show it his face. He attempted motion again, feeling weighed down by the creature's presence.

Yet here we are...forced into a "time out" of our own...all because YOU wanted to give Gregory this foolish challenge of yours.

Having heard enough, Afton snarled before turning back to it.

"SILENCE yourself, you little FREAK! Do you think I'd so readily throw my soul away, AGAIN, just because you pushed me into acting so foolishly?!" he yelled "I want to assure that, before we attempt anything, this boy is the one that WILL WORK." The glitchy being started laughing, irking Afton further.

Hey now! Don't forget...WILLIAM AFTON. YOU wouldn't be alive right now...if it wasn't for ME. As a matter of fact, you wouldn't have VANNY either! So...I'd watch what you say next. Or would you RATHER...I "pull your plug" and send you back to that never-ending Hell I plucked you from?

Afton wanted to say something, his fist tightening as his anger built, but he merely huffed.

"Hmph. Keep thinking you are the one in control. I'll humor you...just as long as we get what we want...by morning." he groaned. He continued to walk, showing more stability in his legs, with the creature following along behind him. It then slinked its head over his shoulder as its face manifested into a rabbit-like appearance.

"It was luck alone that the child showed signs of seeing the amount of agony I have been put through. My "foolish challenge"...will help cement that he IS the one. Not only meant to free me from these shackles...but from YOU as well." Afton explained "Let us see...just how MERCILESS our little "superstar" can be." The glitchy entity cackled.

NOW I get it! Ha ha ha! I KNEW there HAD to be a reason I liked you! See? We're a match made in Hell!

Afton huffed.

"It's because...we are one and the same. Remember. Should EITHER of us perish, all our work will be for naught...as the other is dragged with them." he said. He then refused to keep talking, turning away from it. The entity merely shrugged as it faded away, seemingly with one more thought about the wandering Afton.

Poor ol' Willie. Sometimes, I think you don't give ME enough credit. I'm far more prepared than you ever could be. By the time morning arrives, one of us will be walking out of the Pizzaplex...but it won't be who you THINK.
