I sat in the dining room in Regina's house, glaring at the wall. Mother had poofed me into a new set of clothes, out of the outfit I was still in after the funeral. She had dressed me in my old Isle Garb, black dress, red leather jacket, black boots and black knee-high socks. My hair was out and my necklace rested against my sternum. "Please, Hadley, talk to me." Mother pleaded.
"I don't want to talk to you." I stated, my arms and legs crossed. "All I know is that my friends and family are worried, and you destroyed my phone." Regina then stalked in and took a seat at the table next to me,
"What is it, sweetie?" Mother asked softly.
"It's Henry." Regina replied, "Emma left town with Gold, and she took him with her."
"And you didn't stop them?"
"I didn't know until after they had gone."
"Emma should have told you at least." I stated, "You raised him, you're as much a mother as she is, more so because she's only known him for a couple of weeks. Either way, I'm sure Henry is safe."
"And as soon as Gold's done, Henry will be back." Mother added.
"But not with me." Regina reminded us.
"Back? From where?" Hook asked, limping into the room, "Where's Rumpelstiltskin gone?"
"I don't know."
"Well, if he's left town he's powerless. He can be killed."
"The moment Regina, Hadley or I leave, we lose our magic." Mother said, "And our advantage."
"And your memories?"
"None of us were victims of the Curse." Regina said. I looked away from Regina and Mother, wishing my glare could burn a hole in the wall. "It's not about memories, it's about Magic."
"Well, I don't need magic. I'll go after him alone." Hook turned to leave. Regina stood fromt he table.
"Even if you could find him, do you really think you can just walk up to him and stab him in the heart with your sword?"
"I prefer my hook, but I can't find that now."
"You're not going anywhere." Mother stated.
"I deserve my vengeance."
"You're right." Mother agreed, standing as well. "You're right, you do. And with the Dark One gone, we can search for the one magical item that can actually kill him here." My eyes widened.
"You are seriously not considering trying to find the Dark One's Dagger?" I asked, my head turning to them,
"How would you know about that?" Regina asked me. I ignored her, joining everyone standing. I approached Mother,
"Do you know how evil that is? I've read about it, it corrupts everyone, not just the Dark One, the one holding the dagger goes mad." I took a step away, "I'm not going to watch you go mad." I then turned and marched up the stairs into the bedroom Regina had leant me for the time being. I slammed the door behind me, collapsing onto the bed. My head dropped into my hands as silent tears fell down my cheeks. Ben...where are you? Come find me...please…

Eventually, Hook, Regina and Mother left. I snuck downstairs to where I knew the main phone was. I saw it was unprotected. I grabbed it and quickly dialled the number I knew to be Mary Margaret's. She and David made me memorise their number in case of an emergency. I held the receiver up to my ear as it rang. "Hello?" Mary Margaret answered. I let out a breath of relief.
"Mary Margaret?" I questioned.
"Hadley? Oh, Hadley, were are you?"
"I don't know." I looked around the room, "I...I think I might be at Regina's house."
"Ok, we're on our way, stay put." I wasn't able to respond as the dial tone of the phone was heard. I put the phone down and exited the house, standing out the front. In under ten minutes, David's truck pulled up out the front of the house, him driving with Mary Margaret in the passenger seat and Ben uncomfortably in between them. Mary Margaret and David were the first ones out, however, Mary Margaret was the first to reach me. She wrapped me in her arms as soon as I was close. "Oh, we were so worried!" Mary Margaret breathed, holding me close.
"I'm sorry." I muttered, pressing my face into her shoulder. "I don't know why she wanted me…"
"The main thing is that you're safe." David said, resting his hand on my shoulder.
"Hadley?" Ben called. I let go of my parents and practically ran into Ben's arms.
"I'm alright." I assured, kissing Ben's cheek, "I promise."
"Let's get back home." Mary Margaret said. I was ussured into the car alongside Ben. Mary Margaret and David sitting close with Ben and I pressed up against the opposite door. My head was resting on his shoulder, his arm around me as I leant into his side.

When I was back at the loft, I was bundled in blankets and deposited me on the couch with a mug of hot chocolate pressed into my hands. Ben was next to me, making sure I was safe. Mary Margaret and David were in the dining room talking, though I didn't pay attention to their conversation. "What did they want with you?" He asked softly.
"My Mother...Cora, raised me...I guess she wanted both of her children close…" I muttered,
"Have you told Mary Margaret and David about her?" I shook my head, taking a sip of the steaming hot cup in my hands, the heat not burning my mouth.
"No...I don't plan to either...they don't need to know that I came from...from a cesspool of evil." Ben kissed my forehead.
"Tell them when you're ready." I leant more into him. Never. I will never, ever tell my birth parents, the literal embodiments of Good in the Enchanted Forest that I was raised by their worst enemy.
