"So...you were raised by Cora." Mary Margaret stated, causing me to nod.

"Trapped on an Island surrounded by a barrier to prevent anything from coming in or out." Emma added. I nodded again.

"How did you even show up there?"

"I don't know." I said softly. "From what Mother told me, one day she was walking down the Siren Coast and then she saw a flash of purple magic, which I assume was Regina's, and then I appeared on the shores. I was in my knitted blanket and, she'd been on the Island for about four years before I showed up. She took me in, raised me as good as she was able to on the Isle, despite the constant bullying from a couple of the other kids, I was a happy child."

"Were you safe?" Mary Margaret asked, a motherly tone lacing her voice.

"On the Isle, no one was really safe." I looked down at my clasped hands. "There was stealing, crime, and general nastiness. I was Castleschooled until I was sixteen, but I soon realised that the kindness that my Mother taught me was very much frowned upon. I hardened up pretty quickly, but, I survived."

"I spoke with David...he said that you thought we hated you because of being raised by Cora."

"What else was I supposed to think? You hated Cora, you frowned upon Regina because they were related."

"Hadley, we could never ever hate you. You're my daughter. I know our relationship will need some work, but I hope we can build it up again." I smiled up at her.

"I do too."

Not long after that, Mary Margaret, David, Emma and I were on our way to a remote field just outside of town, but still within the town line. We stopped at the field. Considering the chil in the air, I wore black stockings, red pumps, a black skirt as well as my red coat, a beanie pulled over my braided hair. "Why are we in the middle of nowhere." Emma complained as we hopped out of the truck. "Why aren't you telling us what's going on."

"Yeah, I'm starting to get curious." I added, "Why do you need to be so secret?"

"Because you two need to see it." Mary Margaret told us. Emma and I shared a look before turning back to our parents.

"Great, that always works well for me." Emma commented.

"Tell me about it." I added, folding my arms, "Mal Bertha, party at Hell Hall, trapped Evie and I in a room full of furs and bear traps."

"Listen, whatever it is, it can wait." Emma insisted. "August was trying to warn me about something-someone dangerous."

"Doesn't matter." David said.

"Why not?"

"Because of this." Mary Margaret said, taking mine and Emma's hands and leading us towards the field. We passed through an invisible wall, and appeared in a garden filled with rows and rows of stalks holding some small, familiar objects.

"Emma!" Someone called. A pudgy man raced forward, someone who I assume is Anton from what people have told me, and embraced Emma. "Are you here to help? It's not quite harvest time yet." It then dawned on me.

"Beans." I whispered, my eyes widening, "You're growing Magic Beans?"

"That's what you were up to while I was in New York?" Emma asked, turning to us.

"I was locked up with Mother, Regina and Hook while you were in New York, I have no clue what they were up to." I argued.

"Why didn't you tell us?"

"We are telling you." David replied. "We kept it a secret to protect the Crop. Mother Superior, she cloaked the area. That way, Anton can do what he does best."

"Actually, you haven't seen me play darts." Anton corrected. "But, uh, yeah, I do this pretty good."

"Um, Anton, don't take this the wrong way but w-w-why are you so…"

"Small? Cora." I looked away in shame. "She and Regina brought some magic to make me human-sized. Kind of like it."

"Enough lollygagging!" Leroy scolded, appearing beside Anton, "Back to it!"

"Wow, dwarves really like to work. It's great to see you, Emma." Anton then turned and returned to his job.

"You want to use the Beans to make a portal to go back to the Enchanted Forest." Emma said, turning again to Mary Margaret and David. "That's the real reason you didn't tell me."

"Returning to the Enchanted Forest seems like a very very bad idea." I spoke up, "I lived there for a while, the land is ravaged by Ogres and is completely enthralled in destruction and danger. If we were to go anywhere with these Beans we should go to Auradon."

"We can fix all those problems in the Enchanted Forest." David insisted. "We did it before, we can do it again."

"Emma, Hadley, we can start over." Mary Margaret added.

"So you've changed your mind." Emma stated, "You wanna go now, too."

"Not my mind. My heart. After what I did to Cora, the pain I put Hadley through, I think restoring our land is the best way to mend it."

"It'll be good for all of us, the whole family." David continued. "Henry...and you both."

"We're from there, you're from there."

"No. THis world...is my home." Emma told them.

"I can't just abandon Auradon." I spoke up, lifting my head and standing closer to Emma, "I can't abandon my friends, or Ben."

"This world and Auradon have been nothing but cruel to you." David said soothingly. "If we go back, I think you might be able to have your happy endings." Emma turned to the beans, contemplative.

I stood on the beach at Storybrooke. My toes digging into the cold sand and ruining my stockings with my heels safely in my hands. "Hadley!" A voice called. I saw a purple head approaching me, and Mal soon appeared at my side. "Hey, Hads." Mal greeted.

"Hey." I replied softly, turning back to the water.

"You ok?" Mal asked after a moment.

"I'm just thinking about home...and how we're gonna be in so much trouble when we get back." Mal and I shared a laugh.

"Well, probably less trouble than we got in on the Isle."

"Yeah, the Trimaines never liked green hair did they." Mal and I laughed again. There was a pause. "David and Mary Margaret want to go back to the Enchanted Forest." I could feel Mal's eyes on me. "If there's a way back, they want me to go with them."

"What about us?" Mal asked me. "Auradon...Ben…"

"I told them I couldn't leave you guys, you're my family."

"But...they're your family too."

"I've known them for a couple weeks at most, and I've known about their existence for just over a month, I grew up with you and our friends, and my feelings for Ben...I've never felt like this about anyone."

"I was a horrible, horrible person to you Hadley." Mal all but screamed, turning me around and gripping my shoulders, "You and Evie were banished because of my jealousy. How can you call me your family."

"Mal…" I took Mal's hands in mine. "Listen here, and listen good." Mal's eyes widened when i switched to Dragon Tounge, a series of complicated growls, hisses and tongue clicks. "Yes, you were a terrible person as a child, but...you were willing to sacrifice your reputation and standing with your mother to prevent Evie and I from falling under your mother's Sceptre's Curse, and then you stood up to your mother, as a Dragon to protect us. If all that doesn't make you a true friend then I don't know what is." Mal gave me a small smile.

"Thanks Hads, that makes me feel a lot better." Mal pulled me into a hug, and I held her tight, my eyes falling to the sand littering the beach. I need to tell them all about the Beans, but...David and Mary Margaret...they'd be so mad...what do I do...
