Okay so guys, I haven't played the PS4/PS5 Miles Morales Spiderman because times are lean and I don't want to risk bringing COVID home since I am staying with my parents to minimize their need to go outside. That being said, if this is wildly off base for the continuity of how the game goes, please try to forgive me. Also, I was recently playing the PS4 Spiderman and fell in love with the Armored Advanced Suit.
Sooooo, can you all just pretend that THAT is the new symbiote suit?
Please?

Peter was troubled, and it wasn't some run-of-the-mill 'a villain broke out and is going to come gunning for me' or 'my rent is late and my paycheck is still due' or even 'the avengers have a threat that is big enough to call in all the reserves, myself included'. It was his mentoring of Miles and how as of late, Miles had been willfully and unapologetically going out on patrol and beating the criminals within inches of their life. What's worse, he couldn't even get to Miles because his mother said that Miles left early and came home late, and if Peter wanted to talk about Spider-Man stuff, he couldn't exactly yell at Miles in Miles' house. Peter asked Viri about it and what could cause this abnormal brutality Miles had been displaying, and Viri's response had chilled Peter to the bone.
'The symbiote.' Viri growled in frustration, 'It may be influencing him and moving straight on into subjugating Miles entirely. The symbiote itself is unstable, if it keeps pushing Miles, his body won't last! In any normal case, our union to our host is of benefit to both, we increase our host's bodies capabilities while using our host's body to sustain ourselves. Never pushing out hosts too far or race would never act like this intentionally, whatever traumatized the symbiote has stripped it of it's self-control and empathy!'
When Peter demanded to know what that meant, Viri had said that as the symbiote had been corrupted and maybe it wasn't as 'asleep' as it may have seemed; using Miles body to keep itself going, but without any care for how much strain Miles could take. Which now left Peter without a clue on how to catch Miles and get through him (and that was after a furious 'why did you not mention this before' rant). If the symbiote had taken over him, Miles could go on a rampage that could end lives, and Peter wasn't going to stand for it. What more peter couldn't accept was what the symbiote was putting Miles through. He had to stop him, this couldn't be allowed to continue.
Of all the things to stall Peter at stopping Miles, work had to be the most frustrating thing he knew. He loved his job, but his responsibilities as Spider-Man and far more importantly Miles subjugation needed to be addressed, and Peter did need something from work. After Viri's permission, he had a used samples he had taken from Viri's biomass as a test for few chemicals that he might use against Venom. The problem was nothing yielded a result that would work. It seemed that and sedatives only had mild effectiveness and seemed to be less effective each time.
"Your samples are forming a resistance to the sedatives." Peter mumbled frustrated at his lack of success.
'It is as I feared.' Viri sighed in his head as it absorbed the samples back into its biomass, 'We will have to physically rip the symbiote off of him.'
"With sonics?" Peter asked.
'That would be best, the modification and upgrades you made to the Iron Spider should shield us from the worse of the effects.' Viri replied, 'It won't be easy though, the symbiote has been given enough to time to find Miles' limits. He won't hold back if you intend to separate them by force.'
Peter nodded when his phone began to buzz.
When Peter answered his phone, the last thing he expected was a tearful Mrs. Morales wondering if he had seen Miles as of late. Peter's heart sank as he realized the symbiote was probably keeping him away from the few people that Miles would give up everything for. Peter sped through his paperwork and put the finishing touches on the suit he had made for Miles initially. While it was done, Miles was in no shape to take it for a test run, he had to get the symbiote off of him first. Peter sighed and logged off his systems, he had no chance to work while Miles was nowhere to be found.
Miles Morales struggled in the cage of his mind as the symbiote shrouded him in hate and anger. He had wished he had tried harder to get rid of it instead of relying on his childish excitement of having a symbiote to contest with Peter. Why the hell was he even interested in competing with Peter in the first place? He knew how much Peter wanted him to be better than Peter was, he knew that Peter was only strict at time when Miles truly deserved it. Now the symbiote had taken advantage of the spark of jealousy that sometimes rose up in Miles and had him swallowed up. It took everything he had to keep himself from murdering criminals while Venom swallowed him up.
But Miles wasn't going to let this go on forever, this was his body and he was going to get it back! He didn't care if it hurt, this was going to end! He wanted to reason with the symbiote, to try to get it to let them work together, but it refused to let him restrain themselves at all. Miles scowled in his head and drew deep in himself, waiting for the right opportunity. He noticed the symbiote seemed to never used his bio-electricity, using only its strength and speed. Miles had once used it, but the symbiote immediately shied away from his hand when it happened.
He just had to wrestle control away for a split second...
He knew it was coming soon, he just hoped Peter could forgive him for what he was doing.
Peter had barely exited the building when his spider sense screamed at him to move. He flung himself forward as a hail of bullets rained on the place he was just at. Peter stared at the floor and realized that the bullets weren't bullets at all but tranquilizer darts. His head whipped up and he saw three men advancing on him with assault rifles drawn. They even wore military, Sable, or Oscorp-security grade armor and weapons as they advanced with a practiced ease. Peter inwardly gaped in his head, what in the hell was this about? Who would go after plain old Peter Parker? Who needed him so much that he had to be abducted? Otto might, but he was in prison and it wasn't like he had groupies considering the multitudes of deaths that were because of his actions. And if he did, they wouldn't know to go after him! Other than that, Peter had no clue as to who would try to capture him.
"Peter Parker." One of the men growled, "Come with us and you won't be harmed. Resist, and we will be forced to use stronger measures."
Peter cursed as he realized he couldn't call upon his suits or use his skills as that would leak his secret.
'Peter!' Viri said urgently, 'You need to run! Call the police, call anyone, even your boss!'
Peter nodded to himself and turned on his heel, allowing his powers to bolster his speed just a bit. The men shouted and his enhanced senses hear the clicking of them reloading and he turned the corner just as the gunshots rang. Peter fumbled for his phone and dialed 911 as he ran.
The operator sounded bored until he heard the shouts and gunshots from Peter's side of the call. Peter blurted out his predicament between breaths as he sprinted away. The operator advised him to find a safe place but in it wasn't like there was any way he could find a place where the people would keep him safe. If he didn't stop them now, they would simply com for him later, and they probably would set him under surveillance, why made his night-job far riskier to even attempt.
So it still fell to him, he hung up and rounded another corner before leaping as high as he could, vaulting towards the roof of the building. He landed and pressed himself flat against the floor, his suit immediately forming over his clothing. Viri wanted to be let out to show his displeasure, but remained under his skin at Peter's soft disagreement. The three men rounded the corner below him and looked around with their rifles drawn.
"Where did he go?" One asked.
"He can't have just vanished!" One said, "Check carefully, he can't have gone far."
Peter didn't wait for the third man to speak up as he already pulled him up and slammed a fist across his face. Peter flipped off the roof while adhering the unconscious man to the side of the building before landing on top of one of the men hard enough to knock him out before launching himself with a scissor kick that had the man crashing into the wall. Within a moment he sprayed a sheet of webbing across both of the men, the one who was still conscious saw him and groaned in pain and anger.
"A word of advice." He quipped at the goon, "If someone says no, then usually it's a good idea to respect their decision. The poor guy looked so terrified that he was being stalked, I think he should get a ride home."
With that Peter notified the police that Peter Parker was safe and the three men attacking him were ready for a free bread and breakfast in prison.
Peter climbed into his apartment and sat on his bed putting his head into his hands.
"The last thing we needed was people trying to catch me as Peter Parker." He groaned, "What do they even want with me? What do I have that they could possibly want?"
'Knowledge? Your skills? Maybe even your alter-ego?' Viri offered, 'Everyone knows you were Otto Octavius assistant and must've brilliant to get that position. Some may still think you are not employed and therefore no one will miss you if you vanish. When you fought Otto on the roof of the Oscorp building you were wearing armor that mimicked the design and color scheme of Otto's tentacles. It is only natural that Peter Parker would be the only one capable of creating a suit that was tailor-made to counter Otto's prosthesis. Some may even believe that you creating the Anti-Ock suit and then Spider-Man using it means you are Spider-Man. We simply lack enough information to accurately know why.'
Peter sighed before he flopped onto his mattress, "Maybe we should've tried to interrogate them?"
'I doubt that they would've talked.' Viri supplied.
Peter sighed and then moved over to his closet, pulling out the sonic gun that he had used to tesk the Iron Spider MKII resistance to sonic attacks. Heartsick, he checked over it making sure it was ready to be used. This was going to hurt Peter to have to do Miles to experience much more so, but he needed to stop Miles and this was one of the few ways he could do it that was accurate.
"I need some sleep." Peter sighed, "Tomorrow, we find Miles and put a stop to this."
Kid Arachnid stood tall on the top of Avengers Tower, looking down at the building in contempt as they wondered if any hero could stop the power they had achieved. The scum of the city were now ruled by the fear they had instilled, and now the people were truly safe. The people didn't need the criminals to survive, once the scum of the city was dead could there truly be peace. If the so-called heroes had a problem with that, they could fight them, they could take all of the Avengers with his power. They had never felt stronger in their entire existence, this host was perfect!
It was such a shame the host had qualms against permanent solutions.
"I didn't think that I would find you both here." A voice interrupted Kid Arachnid's musings, "But this is a good opportunity to see why you suddenly went so violent."
He turned to see a feminine form clad in a purple and yellow suit that had several strips of yellow segmented metal attached to her upper arms as she stood behind him. While the skintight material hugged her form, there were parts of segmented armor that allowed for flexibility but still provided protection. He hands had lightweight metal gloves and greaves for her legs. On her belt she had various pouches that had several items to help her fight and two sable guns hung from her hips.
"Your Kid Arachnid right?" She inquired.
"We go by a new name now." They replied, "We prefer Venom."
"Venom?" The vigilante replied skeptically, "That doesn't very heroic."
The hero laughed, voice distorted with an echo of something darker, "We've come to realize that being a hero means needing to be willing to do what's best, regardless of cost to oneself. That said, you haven't introduced yourself and we're not talking more without knowing who we are speaking with."
"Wraith." The figure replied, "You can call me Wraith."
Venom laughed, "Wraith?"
The figure bristled, "If you're going to laugh, I might as well leave."
Venom smirk was clear, "Then go. Do you think we need you here? We already brought peace to this city. A few more days and all the criminals will know better than to cross us."
Wraith scowled, "Don't include me in your plans."
Venom smile dropped. "We're not."
"Then why do you keep saying we?"
Venom twitched oddly before turning on his heel and walking away, dropping over the edge and swinging away. Wraith jogged over and was suddenly overcome with the urge to message Spider-Man, something about Kid Arachnid or Venom wasn't right. Yuri Watanabe sighed but ignored her instincts, she still couldn't find the courage to confront Spider-Man with her new persona; she knew he'd figure who she was in a heartbeat. And even she wasn't sure whether he would try to stop her or not, and she knew she wasn't a match against him.
She couldn't risk him stopping her yet.
Venom gripped his head as he felt Miles struggle harder against his bonds, desperately trying to free himself.
"Stop it!" Venom snarled at his host, "Stop fighting back!"
'Get off of me!' Miles howled, 'I will never stop fighting! Not till I am free!'
Venom shivered as he felt his host strain until Venom pulled back some of his mask and slammed a fist into Miles' face, once again submerging Miles down in his depths. Venom had to take back the 'perfect host' comment, his host was stronger than he liked when it came to willpower and struggled far too much than was comfortable. Venom had nearly lost control of his host multiple times already.
Peter was swinging through the city as he and Viri tired to use their combined senses to pinpoint where Miles could be. Peter had checked his sonic shields one more time before heading out with the sonic device strapped to his waist. He landed on the roof of the Empire State building before scanning the city, hoping to catch a glimpse of a black shadow that would reveal where Miles was. Viri nudged Peter and he turned to find Kid Arachnid standing behind him, but Peter knew it wasn't Miles in control. His fist clenched as the more monstrous form slowly began to emerge from Miles' form.
Just like when Peter lost control.
The only difference was that Miles' musculature didn't suddenly explode into a bulkier form but did add a bit more definition and size to his arms, legs, and torso. His suit remained largely the same even as his hands grew claws and three talons sprouted from the front of his shoes. Otherwise a mouth sprouted from Miles' face and a lizard-like tongue slithered out to lick its lips before withdrawing.
"Nice to see you." Venom drawled, "Heard you were looking for us to talk to us again?"
"Cut the crap." Spider-Man growled, "But I heard what you've been doing to Miles and frankly that pissed me off more than anything else."
The symbiote grinned, "Well, too bad that you don't really have a say as to how we do things."
"Don't say we." Peter replied sharply, "Miles isn't getting enough of a say to justify you saying we. We're going to give you one chance to leave him peacefully, or we are going to rip you off of him."
Viri took his chance to chime in, "Peter and I work together to be greater than we are if we are struggling for control. You had the same chance as we did and instead dominated Miles' body and shunted him into the back of his own mind. You have no right to his body if that's how you wish to bond!"
Venom grin became a scowl and he crouched into a ready position, "You will not take my host from me! We're Venom and after we kill you, we will be the only hero the people need!"
Miles watched helplessly as he felt Venom snarking with Peter and preparing himself to attack his mentor. Venom knew that Peter was probably the biggest threat to him right now and frankly Miles knew that of all the people who could help, Peter probably had the best chance. Peter and Viri both were aware of a symbiote's capabilities and strengths as well as its weakness. If peter had a plan to help, Miles would simply have to trust in his mentor to save him and assist him as best as he could. Miles closed his eyes and took a deep metaphorical breath.
It was his body.
It was time he took it back.
Tingles of bio-electricity began to crackle up and down Miles' veins.
