"Gaara, let's go out," Kankuro walked into his room, and leant against the door frame.
"No thanks," Gaara continued reading his emails, not sparing a glance for his brother.
"Oh, come on, when was the last time you went out?" Kakuro walked further into the room, "We're going out, get up and get dressed."
Gaara sighed in frustration and looked over at his elder brother, "I said no-
"Yeah I heard," Kankuro interrupted, "I'm not taking no for an answer. We're going out."
Gaara groaned low and stood up from the table, "fine, but only for a bit."
"Great," Kankuro smirked at him and stood up and walked out of the room, "we're leaving in ten minutes."
Gaara closed his eyes and took in a deep breath, slowly letting it out. He replied to the last email and turned off the laptop, shutting the lid. He walked over to his wardrobe, pulling out a pair of jeans and a shirt. He dressed quickly, pocketed his phone, grabbed his jacket and slipped into his shoes. Five minutes later, both of them were ready and leaving for the club.
"You never know, this could be your lucky night," Kankuro nudged him.
"Whatever," he looked over at Kankuro, letting his disdain for his plan show.
"Oh, come on, live a little Gaara," Kankuro smiled, "it's been ages since we've gone out together."
Once in the club, several women walked over to Kankuro, holding onto him and pulling him towards the dance floor. Gaara shook his head and made his way to the bar, ordering himself a whiskey before walking into the corner, away from prying eyes and hands. He watched as Kankuro flirted with several women, buying them drinks, kissing them before moving to the next one. He shook his head at his brother's behaviour and knocked back his drink.
For a while, he stood there, observing everyone, watching as they danced around, drank too much and laughed. His eyes following Kankuro, making sure that he didn't drink too much, or get himself into trouble. He pushed away from the wall and walked over to the bar, ordering himself another drink. His eyes fell on the woman who was stood there. Short black dress, black heels, pink hair up in a messy bun, before his attention fell back on Kankuro who stumbled towards him like a fool and bumped into the woman.
"I'm sorry," he laughed, before looking the woman over with hungry eyes, "well hello beautiful," he smirked at her, moving closer to her.
Gaara watched as the woman took a few steps back, her shoulders stiff with tension. "Kankuro, leave the woman alone," he spoke over the music, his eyes boring into Kankuro's. When the woman turned to look at him, he gave her a tight smile, noticing how she was eyeing him keenly.
"I was only saying hello," Kankuro smiled at the woman, before adding, "I haven't seen you around, I'm Kankuro," he winked at her, his smile picking up.
"Hi," she greeted him.
"Are you going to tell me your name beautiful?" Kankuro flirted some more, before another woman came over and wrapped her arms around him, pulling his attention away from the woman in front of him.
Gaara watched as the new woman led Kankuro back onto the dance floor, where she pressed herself against him, her arms all over him. He took in a deep breath and slowly let it out, trying to bate his annoyance. His eyes fell on the woman beside him, who was watching Kankuro as well. "Don't mind him," he spoke loud enough for her to hear him.
She turned her attention back on him. He noticed how her eyes kept falling to his lips, before rising back to his eyes. He gave her a small smile. He was about to leave when the woman stumbled and fell into him. Quickly, he placed his hands on her waist, steadying her. "Are you okay?" he checked her over, making sure she wasn't hurt.
"Sorry, someone bumped into me," her soft feminine voice surrounded him. She straightened up and smiled at him, "thank you."
"You're welcome," he nodded and took his hands away from her. He turned to face the dance floor, looking for Kankuro, making sure he was staying out of trouble. For an older brother, Kankuro seemed to get into trouble, and Gaara would be there to get him out of it more times than not.
"…. Be… relation…." He heard the woman mumble beside him, but didn't catch everything she said. He turned to look at her, "hmmm?"
The woman pouted slightly, her eyes lit by some emotion, she placed her hand on his chest, "I was wondering, why you had to be in a relationship?"
Gaara was taken aback by her boldness. He wanted to take her hand away from him, but at the same time, he kind of enjoyed having her hand on him. His lips pulling to the side slightly, "who says I'm in a relationship?"
"You're searching the crowds looking for someone," she pointed out.
Gaara nodded, surprised that she had noticed what he was doing, that she paid attention to him. "I am," he leaned slightly closer to her, so he didn't need to shout over the music, "I'm looking for my brother, so we can leave."
The woman moved closer to him, "aren't you having fun?" she picked her drink and took a sip, her eyes raking over him, before settling back on his face.
He didn't miss how her eyes seemed to darken with desire as they raked over him, and he found that he was enjoying himself slightly. His lips pulled up in a smirk, "maybe I am enjoying myself now."
The woman moved closer still, her hand wandering around his chest, feeling him through his shirt. "I'm glad to hear that," she placed her glass down and pushed on her toes slightly before pressing her lips against his.
Taken by surprise, he groaned low, his hands moving on their own landed on her hips, squeezing her slightly. He kissed her back for a while, until he could taste the alcohol on her lips. "You're drunk," he spoke against her lips.
"And you're hot," she nipped at his lip, surprising him again. "How about we leave together?"
A low groan bubbled in his throat. He let his hands wander slightly, before stopping them. As tempted as he was to see where this would go, he wasn't about to do anything that either of them would regret. He pulled away from her slightly, "I'll drop you home and that's it."
The small distance he put between them, she closed it. She moved her lips towards his ear, "I can make you stay," she purred, before nipping at his earlobe, "you'll be begging me to let you stay."
He bit back the groan that threatened to leave his mouth. His hands tightening against her hips at her teasing, desire coursing through his veins. He forced his thoughts to clear; he grabbed his phone from his pocket and fired off a text to Kankuro, letting him know where he was going. He turned to look at the woman in his arms, "who are you here with?"
"A few friends, why? You want them to join us?" she asked playfully, her eyes filling with mischief.
"Let them know I'm taking you home," he told her, wanting to make sure that her friends knew where she was going.
"Okay," she smiled at him, "but don't leave without me," she turned and walked away from him.
He watched as she made her way through the crowds, disappearing from view. He stood there for five minutes before she reappeared holding a bag. As she got closer to him, he could smell that she'd had something else to drink and she was stumbling slightly. He reached over and steadied her, making sure that she didn't hurt herself.
"I've let them know," she smiled at him seductively, "shall we go?"
"After you," he followed her towards the exit, keeping close to her. As they reached outside, the woman turned and threw her hands around his neck, and kissed him again, and he kissed her back, enjoying the feel of her lips on his. "What's…. your…. Address?" he asked between the kisses.
She rattled it off to him and went back to kissing him.
Gaara hailed down a taxi and pulled her away from him, leading her towards the waiting taxi. He gave her address and got in and helped her in. As they started to drive off, she snuggled into his side, before sighing softly.
In the dim light of the taxi, he could make out that she had fair, soft skin. He let his fingers trail down her shoulder and arm. He looked down at her and found her asleep, her lips slightly parted. He couldn't help but smile at her. The taxi pulled up at her house and he paid the man, before waking the woman up, "hey, we're here," he helped her out of the car.
The woman looked around, her eyes scanning the place as if figuring out where she was before she looked at him, "hey you," she smiled, her words slightly slurred.
He wasn't sure whether that was because of the amount of alcohol she'd had to drink, or whether it was because she was tired. He placed his arm around her waist and walked to her front door. He watched as she tried to put the key into the door but failed, several times. Gently, he took the keys from her and unlocked the door. He turned to look at her, only to find her leaning against the wall, her eyes shut once more.
Gently, he lifted her and led her inside the house. Quietly, he shut the door with his foot and made his way around the house in the darkness. He walked to the bedroom he assumed was hers and set her down on the bed gently. He took off her shoes, placing them at the foot of the bed and placed her bag on the dresser. He gently pulled the duvet from under her and placed it over her, covering her. He quietly made his way downstairs, as he was about to leave, he decided to leave her a note, letting her know how she had gotten home and that nothing had happened between them. He placed the note on the table and silently made his way out of the house.
He walked back to his place and walked in. He pulled out his phone from his pocket and found several messages from Kankuro.
You go get it bro!
Make sure you use protection!
Have fun!
Gaara sighed at the messages in frustration, he locked his phone and walked towards his room and got into bed, sleep pulling him under.

"Where'd you disappear off to last night?" Kankuro asked as Gaara walked into the kitchen, his lips pulled up to the side.
"What happened last night?" Temari asked, eyeing her brothers.
"Gaara here left with a woman last night at the club," Kankuro replied proudly, "I'm sure he'll thank me for dragging him out last night."
"I made sure she got home safe, then I came home," Gaara told them, his tone bored, he turned towards the coffee machine and pressed a few buttons, waking the machine up.
"Sure, you did," Kankuro smirked at him.
Gaara looked over his shoulder to Kankuro, "I did."
Kankuro stared at Gaara, his smile falling off his lips, "seriously? You just dropped her home and came back?"
"Yes," he turned and prepared himself breakfast.
"She was all over you, you must have had some fun," Kankuro wriggled his eyebrows.
"Kankuro do you have to be so disgusting?" Temari narrowed her gaze at him.
"What?" he looked over at her, "I'm just saying, that woman couldn't keep her hands to herself, or her lips."
"She was drunk and I didn't want to do anything that either of us would regret," Gaara told them as he sat down and tucked into his food.
"You're the only guy that would turn down a hot woman like that," Kankuro muttered as he drank his coffee.
"At least he knows how to be a gentleman," Temari shot at Kankuro.
"I'll have you know, I am a gentleman," Kankuro shot back.
"Sure, you are," Temari added sarcastically.
Gaara ignored them as they continued to bicker and argue about things. He finished off his breakfast and placed the bowl in the sink. He turned to face them, "don't forget we have the meeting with the board members later."
Kankuro groaned, "do I have to go?"
"Only if you want to remain in the company," Temari smirked at him.
"What time is the meeting?" Kankuro grumbled, folding his arms across his chest like a petulant child.
"At twelve, it's at the Suna hotel," Gaara walked out of the kitchen and towards his room, where he fired up his laptop. He sat down and clicked on the email icon, going through several emails, replying to a few.
Since their father had stepped down as the CEO of Sabaku Inc, Gaara, Temari and Kankuro had taken over, sharing the duty of CEO amongst them, that way all three knew what was going on within the company.
At first, Gaara had been hesitant to take over, especially given the tumultuous relationship he had with his father. Since he was young, his father had been distant with him, blaming Gaara for the death of their mother. Over the years, Gaara had become more distant from his family, choosing instead to live however he wanted. He got involved with a gang, went around rioting, vandalising and harassing whoever he wanted. That was until his uncle, Yashamaru had gotten involved. He helped Gaara see that his father's anger was misplaced and that no one truly blamed him for the death of his mother.
Spending more time with Yashamaru helped him calm the beast within, as well as having Temari and Kankuro support him, not to mention a blonde knucklehead who wouldn't back down until Gaara agreed to leave his past behind and look forwards to a better future.
Gaara shook away the memories and went through more emails. He glanced at the clock and was surprised to see how much time had passed by. He placed his laptop on the bed, stood up and walked to his wardrobe, pulling out a black suit, white shirt and his red tie. He placed the clothes on the bed and grabbed his towel and walked into his bathroom. Showered, he got dressed and walked into the living room, finding Temari dressed in a black formal dress and Kankuro in a suit similar to his.
"Let's get this over and done with," Kankuro sighed, "I'm not spending my Saturday afternoon cooped up in a room."
Together the siblings made their way to the hotel and were shown to the private seating area, where several of the board members were waiting. Once they were sat down, the meeting started.
"As you can see, we have been…."
The meeting went on for almost five hours, they had spoken about upcoming contracts that they would profit the most from, and those that had potential.
Gaara had argued that the small contracts were worth looking into, that it was important to help the smaller businesses, to give them a chance to thrive. Some of the members had argued that it would be a waste of resources to help them, but Gaara had stayed firm to his point, not backing down. In the end, Temari and Kankuro and most of the other members supported Gaara, which left several of the members sulking and bitter.
With the meeting over, several of the board members spoke to the siblings, letting them know how well they were doing, and how proud their father would be of them.
"Thank you," Temari smiled at them, "and thank you for your continued support, my brothers and I appreciate it."
She turned and followed Gaara and Kankuro out of the hotel and towards Gaara's car.
"That went well," Kankuro sighed out, relieved to finally be out of the stuffy room. He took off his tie and opened two of his buttons.
"You were great in there Gaara, as always," Temari smiled at him, "dad really would be so proud of you."
Gaara nodded, his lips pulling up in a small smile, "thank you." He started the car and drove home, listening to Temari and Kankuro argue over whether they should go out.
"I'm not going out," Gaara told them as he pulled up to their house, "if you two want to, that's fine." He got out of the car and walked into their home, towards his room, not giving Kankuro or Temari a chance to persuade him to go out with them.
He changed out of his business suit and into his work out clothes and went to their home gym in the basement. With the phone docked, the room was filled with heavy bass and drums, setting the pace to his exercises. For the next two hours, he pushed himself, from the treadmill, to weights, to cardio. By the time he was done, sweat was dripping down his face and body, some polled around his feet. He grabbed his towel and dried his face, and walked towards the showers.
Back upstairs, he had the house to himself, and he was more than happy with that. He spent the rest of the evening sat in the living room with his laptop, going through emails and watching tv. By the time he was done, it was pushing close to 11. He stood up and stretched his arms over his head and walked to his room and got into bed. Exhausted, he fell asleep.
