By the end of the week, Gaara grew more and more irritated by Temari's hovering, constant questions on where he was going, when he was coming back and fussing over him not sleeping enough or not eating regularly.
He sat down on the sofa in the living room with his laptop. He started to go through his emails when Temari walked in and looked at him.
"What do you think you're doing?" She crossed her arms over her chest, eyes glaring at him.
"Reading some emails," he sighed out, reading the email.
"You finished work an hour ago, you should be resting," she narrowed her eyes at him.
"Temari, we never finish working, there is always something to do," he told her, still not looking at her.
"You heard what the doctor said, you need to rest!"
"Temari I have been resting, you need to back away, let me do what I need to," he turned to face her.
"I am just trying to look after you," she uncrossed her arms, placing her hands on her hips, "seeing as you can't be bothered to look after yourself."
Before Gaara could say anything, Kankuro walked into the room and looked between them. He grabbed Gaara's jacket and threw it towards him, "let's go out."
Gaara grabbed the jacket and stood up, shrugging into it. He turned off the laptop and closed it, placing it on the table.
"Where do you think you're going?" Temari turned to face Kankuro.
"Taking our kid brother out," he smiled, "don't worry, I won't keep him out all night." He turned to Gaara, "let's go."
Together the brothers made their way out of the door, the last thing either of them saw was Temari's angry face.
They got into Kankuro's car and drove into town, parking near the Desert Rose.
"I'm not drinking Kankuro," Gaara said as he got out of the car.
"Who said anything about drinking? We're going to go to the café," he pointed at the small building tucked away.
They walked into the café and looked at the menu board. "What do you want? My treat," Kankuro told him.
"I'll have the potato croquets and a black coffee, please."
"How do you drink that stuff?" Kankuro pulled a face.
"The same way you drink too much tea."
Kankuro laughed, he placed their order and paid, and together they walked towards the end of the café, finding Sakura sitting there, with a book and a hot chocolate.
"Well, if it isn't the good doctor," Kankuro smiled at her, "how are you doing?"
Sakura looked over at them, "hi," she smiled, "I'm good thanks, how are you both doing?"
"Better now that I get to see you," Kankuro winked at her, sitting at the table next to her.
"Kankuro, leave Sakura alone," Gaara told him.
"She doesn't mind," he turned to face Sakura, "do you?"
Sakura looked between the brothers, the smirk plastered across Kankuro's face and the scowl on Gaara's. She shook her head and gave Gaara a small smile.
Gaara sighed heavily before sitting down opposite Kankuro. He looked at Sakura and gave her a small smile. For a while they all sat there in an awkward silence,
"So, what have you been up to Sakura?" Kankuro leant back in his chair, looking at her.
"I've been busy with work," she gave him a small smile, returning her attention back to her book.
"I bet you saved many lives," he winked at her.
Sakura took a deep breath and slowly let it out, she turned the page of her book, forcing herself to pay attention to it.
"Kankuro, leave her alone, she doesn't want to be disturbed," he levelled his brother with a look.
Kankuro chuckled, before he could say anything, his phone pinged. He grabbed it out of his pocket and checked it, smirking. He put it away and stood up. "I'll see you two later."
"Where are you going?" Gaara looked at him.
"People to see, places to be," Kankuro winked. "Don't wait up for me." He walked away.
Gaara sighed deeply, closing his eyes.
"You okay?" Sakura asked, watching him.
"He was my ride home," Gaara looked at her, "I'm sorry about him."
Sakura chuckled and nodded at him, "your brother, he sure is something."
"That's putting it lightly. It's best to take him a with a pinch of salt," he gave her another small smile.
Sakura smiled at him, "how are you doing Gaara?"
"I'm good thanks, yourself?"
"I'm well, thank you." She looked at him, noticing that his eyes looked tired and slightly bloodshot. "How have you been keeping? Have you been sleeping better? Eating regularly?"
Gaara smiled at her, "still the doctor even after you've finished work?"
Sakura blushed lightly, "sorry."
Gaara chuckled low, "no need to apologise. What brings you here?"
"I couldn't bring myself to cook anything, so I decided to treat myself," she smiled at him, "what about you? What brings you here?"
"Trying to get away from my sister and her nagging." He sighed heavily and grabbed his phone, finding a few messages from Temari.
Sakura understood how he felt, she gave him a sympathetic smile, "I understand exactly what you mean."
Gaara looked at her with questioning eyes.
"I've had my fair share of people telling me what to do, where to be, who to see…" Sakura shook her head, "believe me, I've been there."
"How do you get away from it?" He tucked his phone back in his pocket and faced her, wanting to know anything that could possibly help him.
"I left home," Sakura chuckled lightly.
"Sometimes I wish I could do that, but Temari always has a way to know where I will be," he sighed out.
"Well, if it helps, I'm more than happy to listen to you, if you ever need," she smiled at him. She knew how much it helped her having someone to talk to, luckily for her, she had Tsunade and Ino to turn to whenever she needed to rant and rave about what her mother had done.
Gaara smiled at her, "thank you, I'd really appreciate that."
Their food arrived and both of them tucked in, enjoying the delicious food. Sakura wiped her mouth and looked over at Gaara, "what happened between you and Temari, if you don't mind me asking?"
Gaara, finished his food and wiped his mouth, "since I fainted, she's been hovering over me a lot more, constantly telling me to take a break, or sleep or eat. Other times, she tries to control everything I do."
"And you just want to get on with whatever you're doing, get it done before you can rest properly," Sakura added with a huffed out laugh.
"Exactly," Gaara said, glad to have finally found someone that understood what he was feeling.
"It would be nice if they could see that, and just leave us to it," Sakura took a sip of her drink.
"If only," Gaara looked at her, "who is it for you?"
"My mother," Sakura huffed out a laugh. "She tries to control every aspect of my life."
They spoke more as they finished their food, enjoying each other's company, sharing stories and solutions on how to get away from prying family members.
Sakura checked her watch and was surprised at the time, half ten. She picked up her book and placed it in her bag, followed by her phone. "It was great seeing you again," she smiled at Gaara as she stood up, him following suit. "Remember, I'm always here if you need a chat."
"Thank you again," Gaara smiled at her.
As they walked out of the café together, Sakura tuned to Gaara, "would you like a lift back?"
Gaara nodded, "thank you, that would be great."
"This way," Sakura walked towards her car, Gaara following close behind. She unlocked the car and opened the driver door, getting in. She started the car and faced Gaara, "what's your address?"
He gave it to her and she typed it into the satnav. She grabbed her phone and selected her favourite playlist, the car filled with a fast pop song, "do you mind?" Sakura faced him.
"Not at all," he smiled at her.
The drive took just under half an hour, they spoke about all sorts, from what they enjoyed doing in their free time, to what their favourite things were. She pulled up and stopped the car, "here you are."
Gaara turned to her and smiled, "thank you, for everything."
"You're welcome," she returned the smile. "Hopefully, Temari won't be on your case too much."
"We can only wish," he unbuckled his seatbelt and opened the door, getting out. "Drive safe and take care."
"You too," she started the car and pulled away, waving at him as she drove off.
Gaara walked into the house, the only light on was in the living room.
"Gaara, is that you?" Temari walked into the hallway.
"Hi Temari," he walked past her and into the kitchen, grabbing a glass of water.
"Look, Gaara, I know I've been really overbearing for the last few days, it's just that I worry about you and I just want to look after you."
Gaara faced her, "I understand that, and I love you for it, but Temari, you need to let me do my own thing," he walked towards her and placed a hand on her shoulder, "thank you for always trying to look after me."
Temari sniffed and wiped at her eyes, "I love you Gaara, and I'll try, I promise."
He smiled at her and pulled her into a hug, "thank you."

As the weeks went by, Sakura and Gaara spoke more often, most of the time, they would message one another, and when they had the time, they would try to meet up for a drink and if they were lucky, a bite to eat. Over the weeks, Sakura was always excited to speak to him, finding titbits of his life. Though, she had figured out, he was a very private man and rarely shared much about himself, and she made sure never to push him to disclose anything he didn't want to.
She had been rushed off her feet all morning, and by the time she made it to her office she was exhausted and ready for the day to be over, and to fall into her bed and sleep for an eternity. "Why did I ever want to be a doctor?" she groaned as she slumped down into her chair. She stared at the ceiling and her eyelids slowly grew heavy and closed.
"There you are."
Sakura jumped at the voice, her eyes jolting open and she sat up straight, "what?" she looked around the room, finding Sasori standing in front of her desk, a sorry smile on his face.
"I didn't mean to disturb you," he sat down.
"You didn't," she rubbed at her eyes and looked at him, "what's up?"
"You're coming out with us tonight," he smiled at her.
"What?" Sakura furrowed her brow slightly, "Sasori I can-
"I don't want to hear your excuses, you're coming out and that is that," he gave her a pointed look.
"I'm really tired though," Sakura tried.
"And who's fault is that, huh?"
Sakura rolled her eyes, "fine, I'll come out," she groaned before adding, "who is we?"
Sasori smiled at her, "Deidara wants to meet you."
Sakura looked at him, "why?"
"What do you mean why? My boyfriend said he'd like to meet the lady that I'm always talking about," he told her.
Sakura smiled at him, "that's the first time I've heard you call him your boyfriend," she scrunched her nose slightly, "I'd love to meet him too, I'm definitely coming out now."
Sasori feigned a look of pain, "so, you'd go to see him, but not me?"
"Well…" Sakura smirked at him, "I'm only teasing, I love you."
"You better," he winked at her. "We're going out to the Desert Rose for eight, don't be late."
"Look at you rhyming away," Sakura laughed, "I'll be there."
"Oh, and you should ask a certain red head to join us," he winked at her again.
"For the last time, we are just friends." Sakura huffed out.
"Sure, that's why your face lights up every time he messages you, and how you're always eager to leave on time to meet him," he pointed out.
Sakura glared at him, making him laugh.
"Alright, alright, I'm going. Make sure you're there at eight tonight," he walked towards the door.
"I'll be there," Sakura sighed as he left her office, closing the door behind him. She groaned, "what have I got myself into?"
She grabbed the nearest file and went through it, amending it where needed before signing off on it and moving onto the next one. By the tenth file, she had had enough and decided to go on lunch. She grabbed her phone and purse out of her bag and made her way to the onsite café.
"Hi doctor Sakura, what can I get you today?" the young server smiled at her.
"Hey Mei, can I please have a large hot chocolate with extra sugar, whipped cream and lots of marshmallows and one your sweet pastries." Sakura handed over the money to Mei.
"Coming up," she smiled, getting busy making the drink. "Here you go," she placed the drink down followed by a pastry. "Enjoy."
"I'm sure I will," Sakura smiled and grabbed the drink and pastry and sat at an empty table. She took a bite of the pastry, powdered sugar falling off and onto her clothes. She wiped at it and licked her lips, moaning in delight at the sweetness that flooded her mouth. With the pastry over, she took a small sip of her drink, sighing at the heavenly taste.
Just then, her phone pinged, announcing a new message. She unlocked it and smiled, finding a message from Gaara.
Hello, how are you doing? If you're free later, would you like to grab a drink?
Sakura began typing out a message, saying yes, but stopped and groaned, she'd agreed to meet with Sasori and Deidara.
Hey, I'm good, just tired and swamped with too much work, just another day in the life of being a doctor! So much fun! How are you doing? How's work? I would have loved to meet up, but I promised a friend I'd go out with him and meet his boyfriend.
She send the message and watched her phone, waiting for his reply to come through. Within seconds, the three little dots bounced across the screen.
I'm doing well, thank you. Work is busy, as always. No worries, we can meet up another time.
Sakura frowned at the message; she really did want to see him. Sasori's words echoed in her mind, ask a certain red head to join us. "No, that's a bad idea," she said to herself, before worrying her bottom lip, "but it would be nice to see him," she argued with herself. For a while, she went back and forth with her answer, finally getting annoyed with getting nowhere, she sent him a message.
Would you like to join us? We're going to the Desert Rose for eight.
She locked her phone and placed it down, not wanting to give herself a chance to tell him otherwise. Instead, she grabbed her drink and took several large gulps, not caring that the liquid was still hot. When her phone went off, she hurriedly placed the drink down, causing some of the contents to spill down the side. She grabbed her phone and unlocked it, reading the message.
Thanks for the offer, but I wouldn't want to intrude on your friends.
She quickly replied back.
You won't be intruding, plus, I'm inviting you, so…
She watched as his reply came in within seconds.
Okay I'll join you, seeing as you're inviting me :)
Sakura smiled at the message and responded back.
Great, I'll see you at eight then.
With that, she locked her phone and picked up her drink, finishing it off before going back to her office and forced her attention on her work. By the time half six rolled, Sakura had managed to almost clear all the files that had littered her desk earlier. She grabbed her bag and threw in her phone and purse, locked her computer and stood up. With the lights turned off and the office locked she made her way to her car and drove home.
As quick as she could, she had a shower, forgoing washing her hair and opting to put it up in a messy bun. She grabbed her red sleeveless dress and wore it, pairing it with black sandals and her black purse. She applied some eyeliner, mascara and lip gloss before hurrying downstairs and calling a taxi.
By the time she arrived at the bar, it was already beginning to get packed, with the Friday night crowds. She paid the man and got out and made her way to the door. She entered and scanned the place finding Sasori sat at a table with a blonde man who had his arm around him. Sakura smiled at them and made her way towards them, "hey guys."
"You made it," Sasori smiled at her, "and that too on time."
"Looks like you owe me now, hn" Deidara smirked at him.
Sakura looked between them, "you were betting on me?"
"Sasori said that you'd be late, I on the other hand, said you'd be here on time," Deidara smiled at Sakura.
Sakura turned to face Sasori, an eyebrow cocked up, "and you're supposed to be my friend. Clearly I chose the wrong person to be friends with," she teased him.
"It's a pleasure to meet you Sakura, Sasori has been telling me a lot about you," he smiled kindly at her.
Sakura returned the smile and sat down, "the pleasure is all mine, Deidara. I can only hope he tells you nice things about me."
"The best," he winked at her.
Sakura smiled at Sasori, before looking back at Deidara, "he's told me a few things about you, too. And before you ask, they are all good."
Deidara turned to face Sasori, "is that right?" he leant over and peaked him on his cheek.
Sakura smiled at them, "you two are just so cute," she gushed.
Sasori blushed slightly.
The trio spoke for a while longer, before Deidara walked off to get their drinks.
"I am so happy for you," Sakura smiled at him, "Deidara is amazing and the way he looks at you," she scrunched her nose, her smile spreading across her lips.
"I know, he's just the best," Sasori looked towards the bar, smiling at Deidara, "I really am lucky." He turned to face Sakura and looked over her and smiled, "and it seems I'm not the only lucky one tonight."
Sakura raised an eyebrow at him before turning around to try and find out what he was looking at. She spotted Gaara, her heart doing a weird double thump before a smile stretched across her lips. When he looked at her, she waved at him, watching as he made his way towards them. "You made it," she looked up at him.
"I did, thank you for inviting me," he smiled at her. He looked around and smiled at Sasori, "hi, how are you doing?"
"I'm doing well, thanks. How about you?" Sasori looked at Sakura and wriggled his eyebrows.
"I'm good thank you," he sat down next to Sakura.
Deidara walked to the table and placed down the drinks, "here you go, your lemon gin and lemonade, and two sex on the beaches." He looked over at Gaara, "oh, hello."
"Deidara, this is my friend Gaara, Gaara, this is Deidara, Sasori's boyfriend," Sakura introduced them.
"Nice to meet you Gaara," Deidara smiled before looking at Sakura and winking.
Sakura blushed at the look and faced Sasori, finding the man laughing. She mouthed to him, "I'm going to kill you," only making him laugh harder.
"I'll go and get a drink," Gaara said, standing up, he looked over at Sakura, "would you like anything?"
"No, thank you," she smiled at him.
He nodded and made his way to the bar.
"Isn't it nice that Gaara has joined us," Sasori smirked at Sakura.
"Shut up Sasori," Sakura looked at him, "you told Deidara!"
"I'm not keeping any secrets from my boyfriend," he winked.
"He's gorgeous Sakura," Deidara smiled at her, "just make sure this time when you kiss him, to get him into your bed."
Sakura stared at the men before groaning out in embarrassment and frustration, "I cannot believe you guys."
"We're only teasing you," Deidara winked at her.
Gaara walked back from the bar with a glass of whiskey. He sat back down with Sakura and smiled at her, "thank you for letting me join you all," he said to the group.
"You know what say, the more the merrier," Sasori smiled, before excusing himself and Deidara to the dance floor.
Sakura watched the two men as they danced together, giving her the thumbs up before disappearing into the sea of bodies. She shook her head and turned to face Gaara. She smiled at him, "how are you doing?" She picked up her drink and took a sip.
"I'm doing well, thank you. How about you?" He watched as the different colours around them shone against her, making her look almost exotic in different lights.
"I'm good too, thanks," she bit the inside of her lip as her stomach filled with butterflies. She felt nervous and excited and couldn't think of a single thing to say to him.
"How was the rest of your day at work? Still enjoying being a doctor?"
Sakura huffed out a laugh, "well, I managed to go through several files, as for enjoying being a doctor still, I can't really complain," she smiled at him, "what about you? How was work?"
Gaara chuckled at her answer, "it was good, other than having Temari demand that I take a lunch break while I was busy amending contracts, followed by her and Kankuro arguing about something," he shook his head.
"You know, she is right, you should be taking breaks," Sakura took another sip of her drink.
"Coming from the doctor who stays at work till almost midnight," Gaara pointed out.
Sakura rolled her eyes before smiling, "I knew I'd regret telling you that." She enjoyed the sound of his laugh, and even more, she enjoyed watching him smile. She grabbed her glass and drank. She noticed that he was wearing all black, black jeans, black shirt and black boots. She also happened to notice, how the shirt clung to him, like a second skin and she knew what was beneath the shirt. She quickly looked away, not wanting him to see her ogling at him like that. She grabbed her glass and took several sips, almost finishing the drink. The alcohol hit her fast. She cursed herself for not eating something before coming out. She decided to pace herself, to make sure she didn't drink too much.
"Would you like another drink?" Gaara asked her.
Sakura turned to him, "yes please," she smiled at him.
Gaara placed his empty glass next to hers, "what would you like?"
"A lemon gin and lemonade, please," she grabbed her bag and pulled out her purse.
"I'll buy them," Gaara said, watching her.
Sakura looked at him, "then I get the next round."
He smiled, "okay."
Sakura watched as he walked towards the bar and sighed, before berating herself, "what is wrong with you?" she couldn't believe how she was acting, like a teenager sitting next to her crush in school.
"Where did lover boy go?" Sasori asked as he walked to the table, picking up his drink and taking a large sip.
"He's gone to get more drinks," Sakura looked at him, "enjoying yourself on the dance floor?"
"We thought it would be better to give you two some alone time, so you can tell him," Sasori winked at her.
"Tell him what?" she looked between the men.
"You know, that you want the D," he wriggled his eyebrows at her suggestively.
Sakura groaned at him, "it's not like that, we're friends."
"You can be friends that benefit one another," he smirked.
Sakura shook her head, "no, not happening." She wasn't about to do that again.
"Fine, suit yourself," he smiled, he downed his drink and walked back to the dance floor.
A few minutes later, Gaara walked back with their drinks, he handed Sakura's hers before sitting down next to her.
"Thank you," Sakura smiled at him and took a small sip, enjoying the tart and sweet citrus flavours.
"You're welcome," he returned the smile and took a sip of his own drink. "Sasori looks happy."
Sakura nodded, "he is," she watched as the two men danced together. "He said that you two know one another."
"Yes, we do," Gaara nodded. "Granny Chiyo worked with my father when he first opened the company, her and her brother, Ebizo, would give him advice."
Sakura smiled, glad to find something else about him, and it was the first time he had mentioned his father. She wanted to ask him more about his father, but refrained, not wanting to pry. "Were you and Sasori close growing up?"
Gaara shook his head, "not really. We sort of knew of one another and rarely had many interactions."
Deidara and Sasori walked back to the table, with a tray laden with several shot glasses. Each containing a different coloured liquid. "Grab a few and let's party," Sasori said, grabbing two glasses and shotting them back in succession.
Sakura eyes the drinks wearily, "I think I'll pass."
"Nonsense," Sasori told her, he picked out two glasses and handed them to her, "throw them down you girl." He grabbed another two and gave them to Gaara, "enjoy."
Sakura and Gaara looked at one another and clinked their glasses and downed the liquid. Sakura winced at the taste and the burn, "what was that?" she groaned out. She grabbed her drink and took several sips, washing down the taste.
"That was…" Sasori started before laughing, "you know, I have no idea." He grabbed two more glasses and handed them over to Gaara and Sakura, "keep going." He took two glasses of his own and drunk them.
Sakura watched as Deidara knocked back his drinks, he winked at her. Sakura smiled and threw back the drinks, once again chasing them down with her own drink.
"Right, now let's go and dance," Sasori grabbed Sakura's hand and pulled her onto the dance floor. "Gaara, join us," he shouted.
He stayed where he was and watched as the trio danced together, his eyes following Sakura as she moved around the dance floor, how she swayed with the music, keeping with the rhythm.
Sakura danced to several songs, before making her way back to their table. As she got closer, someone bumped into her, causing her to trip. She got ready to brace herself, but found herself in someone's arms. She looked up, finding Gaara looking at her with concern.
"Are you okay?" He steadied her, helping her stand up.
She smiled at him, "I am, now." She placed her hands on his chest, "thank you for saving me."
Gaara smiled at her, he kept his arms around her, not wanting to let go, "guess it was my turn to save you."
"If you were a doctor, I'd constantly admit myself into the hospital to be seen by you," she smirked at him, before cringing at her words, "sorry."
Gaara chuckled at her comment, "you don't need to apologise."
Sakura shook her head, and moved away from Gaara, she sat at the table and picked up her glass, drinking down the contents. She faced Gaara and swayed slightly, and had him steady her again.
"Are you sure you're okay?"
"No," she groaned and held her head, "I've had too much to drink."
Gaara smiled at her, "would you like to go home?"
"Yes, please," she turned to him and smiled, "I'll tell Sasori and Deidara I'm going."
Before she could get up, Sasori and Deidara made their way to the table, "who's up for another drink?" Sasori shouted over the music.
Sakura shook her head, "no more for me. I'm going home."
"What, already?" Sasori looked at her.
"I've had too much, and I didn't eat anything earlier and now I feel sick," she pouted at him, "I'm sorry."
Sasori shook his head at her, "you crazy chick," he walked to her and threw his arms around her, "go home and rest up." He kissed her cheek and whispered, "maybe tonight Gaara might stay the night with you."
"Shut up," she pushed him away, and he laughed.
"Let me know when you get home," he smiled at her.
"I will." She got up and grabbed her bag, she faced Deidara and smiled, "it was great meeting you."
"I enjoyed meeting you too," he hugged her and kissed her cheek, "take care of yourself."
"You too," she let go of him and turned to Gaara, "I'll see you later."
"I'm leaving too, I'll wait with you for a taxi." He grabbed his jacket and stood next to her, "thanks for letting me join you," he said to Deidara and Sasori.
"Thanks for coming," Sasori smiled, "make sure lightweight here gets home safe, please."
"Hey, who are you calling a lightweight?" Sakura frowned at him.
"I will," Gaara smiled and held out his hand to the men, shaking their hands before walking out with Sakura and waiting for a taxi.
Sakura stood close to Gaara and placed her head against his shoulder, "did you have fun?"
"I did," he smiled down at her, placing an arm around her waist, "thank you for the invite."
A taxi pulled up and Gaara gave the driver Sakura's address, and helped her into the car before getting in himself.
Sakura sat very close to him, their arms and legs touching. She looked down at his hand on his lap and put hers on it, giving it a little squeeze.
Gaara looked down and turned his hand, letting Sakura intertwine their fingers. He looked at her, finding her lost in her thoughts. "What's up?" he whispered to her.
She looked at him and gave him a shy smile, "nothing."
"You sure?" he tilted his head to the side, eyeing her.
Sakura bit her lip and nodded.
The car pulled up to her house, Sakura reluctantly let go of his hand and opened the door. Together they got out. Sakura paid the fayre and walked to her front door, grabbing the keys out of her bag, and unlocking the door. She turned to Gaara, "would you… like to come in?"
Gaara thought about it, he wanted to, but it wouldn't be right. He checked his watch, it was ten minutes to midnight, and he had to prepare for a presentation. "maybe another time?"
"Oh, okay…" she sighed sadly and opened the front door.
"Sakura," Gaara called, waiting until she looked at him, "I'd have loved to come in, but I've got a presentation to prepare for tomorrow," he explained.
Sakura gave him a small smile, "you don't have to explain yourself. Like you said, maybe next time," she gave him a hopeful smile.
Gaara gave her a small smile, "next time. Good night, take care." He turned and began walking away from her house.
"Gaara," Sakura called running up behind him, when he turned to face her, she pushed up on the toes and placed a soft, chaste kiss on his lips, "good night," she smiled at him, before biting down on her bottom lip and walking back into her house.
Gaara was taken by surprise, by her gentle kiss. He looked at her and watched as she smiled and shut the door. He touched his lips and smiled. He turned and walked home; the smile still present on his lips. As quietly as he could, he unlocked the front door and got in, softly closing it behind him. He went through his nightly routine and got into bed, sleep taking under.
I might be a while uploading any new chapters, I've got to prepare for a BBQ I'm having on Friday and a possible day out somewhere sometime next week before going back to work as the summer holidays come to an end! I'll try to update as soon as possible!
