Meanwhile, on Ron and Hermione's side of the story, they were both interrogating Ginny on why in the world didn't she tell them that she was dating there ex-best friend Harry, and furthermore, actually lied saying that she wasn't dating him. Its one thing just not to say anything about it, but it's a whole other thing when you just flat out lie about it. And another thing they wanted to know is why Harry went along with it. Ginny couldn't answer this question. "I honestly don't know," she said persistently, "I mean we talked about it, and I decided that I wasn't going to tell you, but I wasn't sure if he wouldn't or not." She thought for a moment. "Hey", she said "how did you find out?" "Um, that's none of your business," they said quickly "and besides, you're getting off the subject, we're talking about you not us." Ginny thought about this for a moment "Well, don't I have a right to know?" "Well, I guess- "THERE!" Ginny said excitedly, "So you should tell me, now spill." Ron and Hermione exchange glances. "Fine," said Ron, "Dean told us, he said he saw you and Harry at that little teashop in hogsmeade on Wednesday, you know when we went there for school. Any way, he says he's seen you loads of other places to, like in the three broom sticks, and other places like that. So there, we told you, are you happy now." "Yes, actually I am" Ginny said. "But what in the in the world was Dean doing in the coffee shop?" Before either of them could answer that they actually had paid Dean to spy on them they-to there relief-heard a tap on the window "Hedwig!" said Ginny in delight "Harry must have sent me a letter!" she took the letter, paid Hedwig a kunut, read it and said "It's for you Ron, and Hermione." Ron took it read and handed it to Hermione. She read it, took out a piece of parchment, and started writing. "What are you writing Hermione?" Ron asked. "I'm replying Harry's letter." She said "I'm saying that we forgive him." "Oh," Said Ron, "Good idea." Hermione finished her letter, gave it to Hedwig, and watched him fly away.

Back on Harry's side of the story, he was beginning to get quite impatient, because Hedwig was taking a long time to get back, he saw something white in the distance, finally, Hedwig had returned, and with a letter! He took the letter, read it, started dancing around the room. Ron and Hermione forgave him!
