I stretch my back with a content sigh, water rippling around me, the sound of its movement echoing around the white-tiled room. Scented candles, alongside the scented bathwater, leave a heavy floral aroma hanging in the air, which when combined with the heat of the bath, felt like bliss.

I can feel the heat lifting the tension from my muscles, and the steam clearing my lungs. It's a refreshing and wholly unique experience. Made even better by the company.

My bathing partner also stretches her back, our legs touching in the middle as we sit opposite one another. The snow-white ears on her head twitching for a second before settling back down. The majority of her body is hidden in the blue-tinted water, but it's not exactly hard to make out the curve of her luscious form, and the contrasting ripple of muscles.

Kaga was beautiful, she always had been. I could never choose who was the most attractive between my wives. I myself admitted that brunettes were originally my preference, but something about Kaga's beautifully shining white fur was utterly captivating.

We were having a relaxing morning bath together, and it had turned out to be quite the romantic pastime, the candles setting the mood as we both watch another soaking in the tub, expressions of bliss on each of our faces, both completely naked for the other. I move slightly to avoid cramp, and my thigh just brushes my wife's.

Her blue eyes gaze at me with a relaxed contentedness. An odd look on Kaga, one who was normally coiled, ready for a fight at any time. She wasn't exactly known for being chill. But then… I suppose she was probably also known for being more relaxed than her sister, at the very least.

"Tails?" My eyes glance at her tails assorted around her, soaking in the water. She quickly takes me up on my offer with a smile.

"Please." She promptly raises from the water, and I catch a glimpse of her perfectly sized chest before she turns, settling on her knees facing away from me, her upper half out of the water, her back shining in the candlelight as water slips from her form, offering her tails to me.

I gently caress her back, my finger running across one of several combat scars littering her body. They were shallow, and barely noticeable unless you were close. But I knew each and every one intimately, I even knew how and when she had received each one.

The one I'm currently tracing was from a patrol, around 2 years ago, when a Siren carrier had caught her off guard, and the jets had dropped their payload. Kaga's quick reflexes were the only thing that had stopped it from being far worse.

My eyes fall on another, a lighter, smaller scar parallel to her left shoulder blade. It was from her fight with Enterprise, back during the war… a lifetime ago. I had probably ordered the strike myself, in fact, I had probably been quite pleased with myself when it landed, wounding the kitsune, damaging her flight deck.

At that thought, I pause, a bitterness wells up within me, and I fight to keep it down, finally succeeding. I had no way of knowing what my future held back then… that I would eventually marry the very kansen who I was fighting. It was unfair to hold myself accountable for that.

"Husband. Do not concern yourself with such dark thoughts. That war was a bitter, dreadful affair, one best forgotten." I wasn't surprised she knew what I was thinking about, sometimes both my wives seemed to know me better than I did myself.

I smile wryly. "Sorry… just thinking about how things were so different back then."

Kaga's voice reverberates off the tiled walls, clear as day. "As I have mentioned many times, you were a different person back then, as was my sister, and most definitely me…" She chuckles lightly.

"So obsessed with strength that I could not see an inch in front of me, what foolishness. Strength is important, I still believe that, but it is not the crux that life solely relies on, and strength itself comes in many different forms. I truly was young. Why, that women would shriek in embarrassment and anger at the thought of bathing with a male."

I laugh in response, lovingly kissing her bare shoulder. Kaga shivers, her whole body quaking.

"Cold? I'll grab a towel." On instinct, I reach for a small towel to wrap my wife's shoulders in, now they were open to the air, but she quickly shakes her head, and looks over her shoulder at me with an embarrassed smile and a pink hue to her cheeks.

"No, it was just your touch…"

I chuckle with a raised brow. "I see." I put the towel back down and press my body against her back, holding her close, relishing the contact and heating her with my own body heat.

I lean forwards and place a kiss on her nape, and she shudders again, her ears twitching at how sensitive her body was. I kiss her once more on the shoulder, giving a caring hug alongside before getting on with what I had offered her, a tail grooming.

I detach from Kaga slightly as she continues to kneel in front of me and lean to the side, grabbing several items from the nearby shelf. A brush, coloured blue, indicating it was Kaga's. Like toothbrushes, each of my wives had one, and Akagi's sits on the shelf coloured a crimson red.

I also pick up some scented oil and luxurious shampoo. Looking at the array of tails before me, I decide it would be best to start left to right, to keep track of which tails I had groomed and which I hadn't.

My hand slowly picks Kaga's leftmost tail out of the warm water, the sodden fur dripping as I stroke it gently. A light gasp escapes Kaga, and I smile. Her tails really were sensitive, the slightest touch of my hands sending little bolts of pleasure coursing through her.

I drip a modest amount of the shampoo onto the tail, using my hand to massage it in, and predictably, Kaga gasps again, before settling into a quiet mewling at my attention, her back trembling as she stays upright on her knees, her toes curling in the water.

I wet the brush and as gently as I can, I run it from the base of her tail, sprouting out from her back, right to the tip of the snowy fur. The brush lines her fur, undoing any knots that had formed. I'm extra careful near the base, knowing that was an especially sensitive area for kitsunes, their fox-like features meeting their human features.

Then, I grab the bottle of oil and slather a small amount on my hands. I knew full well how expensive that stuff was, so I'm conservative with it. Besides, I still had plenty of tails to go. Not to mention, once Akagi knew I had groomed her sister's tails, she would inevitably demand the same treatment.

My hands wrap around the very base of the tail, the most sensitive part, and start stroking away, covering the fur in a glistening shine, the smell of the lavender oil strong in the air. Kaga continues to shake and moan, and as one of my hands hits the base of her tail again, touching her back, one of her moans grows much louder and huskier.

Her legs quake in the water, rippling about. I had come to expect this lewder aspect from cleaning my wives tails. They were so sensitive; they couldn't help it. It made me wonder if they actually liked me cleaning their tails because it was a nice, intimate act for their husband to perform, or simply because of the intense pleasure they received from it. I suspected it was a bit of both.

I release the tail from my grip, the shining white fur slick with oil as it slowly slinks back into the warm water. I move onto the next tail, then the next, making my way methodically through each one. It takes quite a while, but eventually, each of her tails has been thoroughly brushed and cleaned.

Kaga sighs blissfully and leans back, her skin rubbing against my own. I take the opportunity to squeeze some more shampoo onto my hands, and without warning, I grasp both her fluffy ears tightly, dampening the fur.

My wife yelps in surprise, squirming at the sudden pleasure of having her ears stroked but quickly settles back down as I rub the shampoo into her ears, moving on to her hair. There was something oddly romantic about this, shampooing your lover's hair.

I scoop some water up with my other hands and start rinsing her hair, the soap and bubbles running downwards, over her fair skin and back into the water. Her ears twitch and dance, and I give the base of one a rub for good measure.

Eventually, she's all cleaned up, all of her fur glistening white, and she smells delightful. Her cheeks are blushing red, but they eventually calm themselves as she overcomes her embarrassment. She gazes at me over her shoulder with a thankful smile.

"My thanks, dear husband." She shifts backwards again, and I get the feeling it's a deliberate movement, rubbing her body against me under the water.

"You're most welcome. Honestly… I really do enjoy cleaning your tails. It's cathartic." Kaga chuckles, and repeats her movements again, rubbing her back against me. My loins start to stir with need, I had managed to keep myself distracted with cleaning my foxwife, but now…

Kaga turns to face me, and I get a face full of the beautiful kitsune's breasts, only exacerbating my problems. Her blue irises look downwards into the water for a second before flitting back up to meet my gaze, her lips curling in a coy smile.

She leans forwards, her movements a bit too fast, causing some water to spill from the tub onto the floor, but I'm too distracted to care, Kaga's breasts pressed against my chest as she kisses me passionately.

Meanwhile, her hands work their way underwater to my crotch, gripping tightly, causing me to groan needily into the kiss, muted by her tongue.

Just then, a knock comes at the door. However, this doesn't seem to faze Kaga, she must be in 'one of those' moods. She simply opts to start kissing and biting my neck gently, freeing my mouth to respond as her hand continues to explore the rest of my body below the water.

I stifle a moan through gritted teeth as her hand continues its ministrations. "Yes?"

A young, high-pitched voice replies through the door, the tone polite. "Mother asks how long you are going to be?"

Inwardly, I roll my eyes. Of course, Akagi would send her daughter to hurry us up when we were taking too long. Kaga ignores my daughter at the door and quietly bites into my neck, her tongue lavishing the skin as she does. And I'm unable to stop the lusty moan this time as my wife continues to grind against me.

Kaga releases my neck from between her teeth for a second and looks over her shoulder at the door. "Tell my dear sister that we shan't be much longer, little one."

There is no response, but I can hear her little legs run excitedly down the hall towards the main room, eager to please her mother.

"Now… where were we?" Kaga looks back at me with a lust-filled gaze, her grip tightening on my crotch.

After indulging ourselves in some quick carnal pleasure, me and Kaga both step out of the warm bath and are immediately hit by the cold air, water dripping from our bodies to the mat on the floor. I quickly grab a large towel from the radiator and set to work on drying my wife.

She clearly appreciates me focusing on her rather than myself first. I always was a bit of a softy, and who could sit back and watch their wife shiver and not do anything about it?

I ignore my own cold body and make sure to soak up all the water from Kaga's pale skin, moving onto her hair, gently rubbing her ears, to her tails. As I start rubbing down one of her freshly cleaned foxtails, a shiver runs up her spine, and before I realize what is happening, they shake fiercely.

All of her tails become a blur of motion as they shake the water off themselves, leaving them puffy and shining beautifully, just as a dog would shake their body to dry. Of course, in the process, they had also left me dripping wet, more so than I was already.

Kaga turns and gives a sheepish grin. "Sorry. It's just instinct." I get the feeling she's not actually that apologetic as I continue to drip onto the bathroom floor, her grin widening at the sight. She makes up for it, however, by grabbing a fresh towel and drying my body lovingly, just as I had done to her.

Before long, we are both dry and clean, freshly smelling of lavender. We both put on fluffy dressing gowns, mine a pure white, and Kaga's a deep blue before venturing out of the room.

Side by side we continue down the hall to the living room, the sound of my daughter giggling happily echoing around the room. As we turn the corner, Kaga squeals in embarrassment and ducks behind me.

As it turns out, the reason Akagi junior is laughing happily is the fact that she's playing with her auntie on the sofa. Tosa looks up with surprise at the noise, as does Akagi sat opposite. I blush heavily, nude except for the dressing gown covering my modesty.

Tosa smiles, seemingly unfazed. "Oh please sister. I've seen you in far less. And Shikikan, no need to embarrassed."

Her assurance is nice, but both me and Kaga are still clearly embarrassed, and excuse ourselves, quickly heading to the bedroom to put on some clothes. I hadn't expected Tosa as a house guest today, so thought I had been free to walk around with little to no clothes.

Me and Kaga return and Tosa simply rolls her eyes at our insistence on covering up, continuing to play with the little kitsune. They're trying to catch one another's tails as Akagi looks on amused. Tosa had larger, fluffier tails alongside simply having more. But her reactions are lightning-fast, and my poor daughter doesn't stand a chance, as much as she might try.

She's quickly distracted by my presence however and quickly runs over, giving me a hug. Her tails flail about wildly as her ears twitch atop her head. "Hello, Myōgi." I give her rapidly moving ears a good pet, but before I can truly hug her back, the hyperactive fox has already moved on and given my snowy-haired wife a tight hug too.

Kaga smiles happily and bends down, placing a kiss on her forehead. "And how's my favourite niece doing?"

Myōgi grins and points towards Kaga's sister. "I was playing with Auntie Tosa!" Kaga raises her brows in mock surprise.

"Oh! Well, it didn't look like you were doing very well."

Myōgi immediately pouts. "I was! Bet you can't catch my tails." She turns on the spot and runs around the room. Kaga growls happily and gives chase, a blur of brown and white fur streaking around the room.

Kaga is deliberately being slow, occasionally coming close to catching her, only to slow at the last second, allowing her to escape. I have visions of them colliding with a piece of furniture or breaking one of Akagi's expensive ornaments but don't want to spoil the fun.

Akagi herself doesn't seem to mind, watching on with a wide grin as her sister plays with her daughter. I approach and she quickly stands to greet me, tails winding around my feet as she presses against me, lips already touching my own briefly.

"Darling~ You took your time in the bath… hmm? You do smell delightful though." She takes a large sniff, her vulpine senses tasting the air around me. She sniffs once more and a lusty expression dawns on her as she lowers her voice to a whisper in my ear. "I can smell it all over you… Making love to your daughter's auntie while bathing? Naughty~ I do hope my turn is next…"

I force down a blush as she nips my ear teasingly with her teeth before retreating and guiding me to the sofa, sitting opposite Tosa who was watching our whole exchange with interest. Akagi wastes no time in getting comfortable, snuggling against me, tails providing a warm blanket for us both.

I look over at Tosa and smile warmly. "So, what brings you to our humble abode?" My first instinct is to offer her a drink, but she already has a hot steaming cup of tea, no doubt thanks to Akagi, who also has one.

She smiles and nods towards Kaga, still playing with Myōgi. "Kaga asked me round to babysit Myōgi, though I fear I might be slightly earlier than she anticipated. A bad habit of mine. Apologies."

Babysit Myōgi? What for? We didn't have any plans as far as I was aware? Just some days off to chill. Siren activity had been especially minimal recently, and Washington had gladly taken up the mantel of responsibility for the week, allowing me to rest and spend time with my family.

Instead of voicing my confusion, I just chuckle. "Well. You can tell you're Kaga's sibling then. She's always early for everything. For fear we'll be late."

Akagi chips in quickly. "Indeed. I love my dear sister. But being on time is a rather simple affair, there is no need to be late, nor early. No offence, Tosa."

Tosa smiles, not bothered. "None taken."

Akagi continues. "But I must admit, I wasn't expecting you today, were you, dear husband?"

Huh. So Akagi didn't know anything either? What had Kaga been up to? I shake my head quickly and a thoughtful look flashes on Akagi's face.

We all over at Kaga, still playing our daughter with boundless energy, happy squealing and blur of fluffy tails.

"Myōgi darling, can you avail yourself to your room for a moment," Akagi calls out, and the fun laughter comes to an abrupt halt. Myōgi, as obedient as ever gives a quick polite bow to both her mother and aunties before making herself scarce. My heart warms as she shoots me a petite smile before leaving.

She had always been an incredibly obedient and polite young girl, no doubt in part to Akagi's childrearing strategy. She had a zero-tolerance policy for any bad behaviour and demanded her daughters respect above all else.

Still, it wasn't like Akagi was unnecessarily harsh, and she did lavish her daughter with affection often. Besides, it was hard to argue with the results of Akagi's no-nonsense approach. Myōgi was in many ways, the perfect daughter. She had been taught all pertinent Sakura traditions, alongside Kitsune traditions so that she would be ready to attend the many official events that me and my wives often partook in. She respected all the kansen around the base and understood the odd familial situation she had been born into, with Kaga acting more as her stepmother than auntie, and even being good friends with Enterprise.

I was incredibly proud of my little girl, and there were days I still couldn't quite believe I had been blessed with her. It made me question why I had been so unsure about children in the past.

While she was indeed the spitting image of Akagi for the most part, her fur was slightly lighter, her eyes an orangey-brown, both proof that she was my daughter after all. A mix of my own genetics and Akagi's.

Kaga saunters over and looks like she's about to explain herself when both Akagi and Tosa sniff the air, detecting some subtle scent. Akagi's tails stop their happy to and frow movements, puffing up slightly as her eyes narrow.

Seconds later, the doorbell rings. Kaga shoots us an apologetic smile before quickly heading up the stairs and swiftly returning with another guest.

I had already guessed at who it was, Akagi's reaction made it quite clear. Indeed, the silver-haired carrier grins happily at me upon entering the room, before offering up a less warm smile for Akagi.

Enterprise is wearing some casual clothes, some I had seen her in before. Black shorts, white top with her name emblazoned on it, complimenting her black cap and sunglasses, with a thicker yellow coat wrapped around her waist should she need it to cover her bare shoulders.

"Enterprise!?" Akagi cannot keep the surprise from her voice. My wives relationship with my lover had been… complicated, over the past few years. For her part, Kaga had actually become relatively friendly with her Eagle Union counterpart, going out for drinks on occasion and chatting.

Even now, Kaga hangs close to Enty with a smile on her face. Akagi on the other hand… was the complicated half of the relationship.

To say she hated Enty would be a huge overstatement. In fact, she had warmed to her over the years, just not to the degree that Kaga had. The rule about Enterprise not being allowed in the house had been dropped, at Kaga's request, and Akagi had been courteous with her. But no more than that.

She still made the odd snide remark to me about her, and her body language around her was always one of passive anger or discomfort. Currently, it's a mix of both.

"Dear Sister!? What exactly is going on?" Akagi's tails have begun to move again, but in a more irritated manner, swishing back forth with an aura of annoyance.

Kaga doesn't seem to pay much heed to her sister's reaction, simply offering up a smile. "I thought it would be nice for the four of us to go out together. Enterprise thought it was a nice idea, and don't you think it would please our dear husband so?"

Akagi bristles at this, but her visage swiftly takes on a more thoughtful expression. No doubt the implication that such an outing would please me makes it far more difficult for her to refuse, something I can already tell she desperately wants to do.

She got along with Enty, as long as she kept her arm's length. Going out for the day, with me in the mix… even I questioned how wise that was. But Kaga was also right, I did like the sound of it. I really wanted Akagi to get over her dislike of Enty, just as Kaga had done. I loved all three of them equally, as odd as that was, and wanted them all to get along well.

I can imagine the cogs turning in Akagi's mind as she weighs her dislike of Enterprise with her sister's request. In the end, she seems to come to a decision and nods curtly, her tails settling down. "Hmph. Very well."

It hadn't taken us long to get into town, leaving Tosa with the responsibility of looking after Myōgi, although that in itself probably wasn't that much trouble. I couldn't imagine the little one would cause any trouble for her beloved auntie.

I didn't really know what the plan for our day out was but had allowed Kaga to lead the way. She seemed to have everything sorted. I wonder what had prompted her to organize this? It would be fair to say that she and Enty were now friends, so perhaps she was sick of her sister's attitude and thought that forcing the two together with me present might get them to bond?

My thoughts are quickly dispersed when Enty holds a shirt up to my chest, tilting her head, appreciating how it would look on me.

We were currently in a mid-range clothes shop, idly browsing the outfits on show. The large shop was based inside a large mall, and there is plenty of people milling around, also doing some clothes shopping.

"Hmm. I think it suits you." The look on her face tightens my chest and gives a little chuckle.

Then, Akagi suddenly appears. "How garish." She looks down her nose at the garment. She strokes her chin for but a second before picking out another shirt nearby, this one white with red floral patterns intricately sewn into the material.

She holds it up to me, just as Enterprise had done. "Much better. Suits you perfectly."

Enty narrows her eyes, annoyance and anger flashing across her face. "I disagree. This fits his form much better and has far superior material quality."

A similar expression settles on Akagi's visage. "True, but the colour of this matches him far better. I have been helping my husband with his dull sense of fashion for years, I think I know far better than you. I am his wife, after all." Akagi flashes her wedding ring, just to make a point.

Unsurprisingly, Enterprise does not take kindly to that one bit, veins practically popping on her forehead as she stares daggers at the kitsune. "Commander. Which one do you prefer?" She defers to me, demanding I choose, and both women glare at me, daring me to have the gall to choose their rival.

I had no intention of choosing one over the other… I look around desperately, pleading with my eyes, hoping Kaga can settle this for me, but my heart sinks when I see her talking enigmatically to a store assistant, presumably about the lovely white wool sweater she has in her hands.

"Um…" I smile at both my lover and my wife, trying to placate them. "Both are very nice…" I do not sound particularly confidant in my answer, and it shows.

Akagi's crimson irises shine in warning as she speaks. "Answer her, Shikikan…"

I gulp nervously, but then breathe a deep sigh of relief when Kaga finally makes an appearance, seemingly having purchased the sweater she had been interested in.

"What's going on here?" Her ears twitch as she speaks curiously.

"Shikikan was just going to tell us which one of us picked the best shirt for him. Weren't you, dear husband?"

"Hah! Oh please. If you two can agree on something, it's that Shikikan's fashion sense is as bad as his timekeeping. Why would you trust his opinion on that at all?" Kaga laughs heartily.

Ouch. "Hey! My fashion sense is perfectly fine!" Kaga laughs again, and even Akagi and Enty giggle. The frosty atmosphere shattering. Enty gives me a look of pity before replying.

"I… no sorry, I can't sugar coat it Commander. It's awful."

Akagi nods enthusiastically. "Oh yes. Isn't it just terrible? Have you seen when he mismatches the colours of his outerwear? Dreadful." They both laugh while pointing at me, my cheeks redding deeply.

I was glad the situation had been diffused, and that they even seemed to be agreeing and getting along, however temporarily. But I was not so fond of the subject matter which had brought them together.

With that, we finish off purchasing some final bits, both Enty and Akagi dropping the shirt matter, seemingly realising how silly it had all been. Next, Kaga leads us to a nearby coffee shop. We sit down and Enty suddenly disappears.

Several minutes later, she reappears, with coffee for herself and me, and tea for my wives. She even managed to select Akagi's favourite variant of tea, and when Akagi gives her an odd look, Enterprise smiles and explains.

"Kaga told me." Akagi nods, makes sense I suppose.

"Well… um… thank you." Akagi smiles, unsure what to make of the interaction. Both of them were still very awkward around each other. They barely interacted outside of sorties, so it wasn't unexpected. There was a lot of tension between the two and bad blood, but some of that seemed to have filtered out after the last few years… at least, to a degree.

We all sit there, sipping our drinks, an awkward silence smothering us. Just as I'm about to try and break the ice, Enterprise speaks up, looking Akagi straight in the eye.

"Why don't you like me? Is it because of the war? Our history?" I wince at Enty's straightforward approach. I suppose she had always had a knack for getting straight to the point. It was only ever with me that she beat around the bush a little bit, softening any blows she might deliver with her words.

Still, her tone is not accusatory or overly hostile, more just curiosity than anything. Kaga raises her eyebrows at her friend's words, looking like she wants to say something, but also wants to see how Akagi will react.

In the end, the latter wins out. Akagi seems equally surprised by the question, but an odd solemn look overtakes her and she looks down at the table, ear twitching as she stares resolutely at her cup of tea, before meeting Enterprise's gaze.

"That is… a part of it."

The Eagle Union carrier's words come quickly, with a hint of sharpness to this time. "The war is the past. Why hang on to that? I know I have my part to play in our spats, I accept that. But as I've grown to know Kaga, I have come to forgive and forget the past."

The brunette kitsune runs a finger around the rim of her teacup, not quite looking Enterprise in the eye. "The past is not so easily buried. Something Archiver reminded me of. Painfully." She mutters before continuing.

"The higher-ups would constantly compare me to you, the legendary Grey Ghost. They would ask and ask, why had I failed to sink you, time and time again. It was infuriating and demoralizing and I have never forgotten that. You were my rival. My nemesis. I wanted nothing more than to sink you… and then… to add insult to injury, you captured me."

This time, she flashes me a look. "And on that fateful, disgraceful day, I met my future husband. Attached to your side. I admit… my bitterness towards you stems from many places… our history, yes, that plays a part, but I know that is illogical. In fact… if it were not for our history, for you, I would never have met my beloved Shikikan."

"So, thank you. For that. And I do apologize for my behaviour at times. Honestly… the main reason is jealousy." She once again focuses on her cup of tea, unable to look any of us in the eye as she confesses.

"It is a primal, ugly emotion. I was… I…" She sighs. "I… still am, jealous of your power. Your victories, victories I never had. And the place you hold in my husband's heart most of all. That jealousy burns, it boils and froths until it becomes anger. Anger that I take out on you… on others…"

"Although…" She chuckles, trying to lighten the mood. "You must admit you pushed your luck on occasion. You were ever so defensive of my husband when we first courted. That simply made me hate you more…"

Enty blushes deeply and gives a sheepish smile. "I… um… yea. I… didn't want him to get hurt. And really… I was jealous too. Of how close the three of you had become. I'm sorry."

Akagi smiles back. "What a pair we make. Driven by jealousy to fight one another over our reputation and a man. Hmph." She sips her tea and Enty does the same, leaving both me and Kaga sitting there awkwardly.

I think… I hope, that was some form of breakthrough. I'd never heard Akagi spill her heart like that to anyone else but me and Kaga. Hell… she'd never apologized to Enterprise for how she treated her before either. The two seemed to have a true heart to heart, starting to reconcile their differences.

Hopefully, this was the start… of the two famed carriers, the two rivals from different nations finally getting along?

After that we meander around town some more, doing some more shopping and generally chatting. While I wouldn't say Akagi & Enty were now friends. That would certainly be a stretch, the icy atmosphere between the two seemed to have thawed, and I often see them chatting about various subjects between the two of them.

The odd thorny remark still comes from Akagi, and the occasional glare from Enty, but overall, I had not seen them get along this well in… well ever really. It would be foolish to expect them to put aside all their differences immediately. And at their core, they were different people, bound to not get along on some subjects no matter what.

But I was incredibly glad that they had come to more of an understanding. If this continued… maybe we could have more of these days… perhaps even with Myōgi present. She'd love to have all of her aunties with her for the day, spoiling her.

I wasn't the only one pleased with the day's events. I had noticed a smug grin planted on Kaga's face ever since the incident at the café. No doubt she had hoped something like that would happen, forcing one of them to open up and let the other in, coming to an understanding. There was no way she could have known it would happen, but that's what just makes her all the smugger.

She must have at least guessed that their history would come up, and with me there, they would respect the arrangement we all had for our own benefits. I had to hand it to my snowy-haired wife, she had done very well to organize this day out for us.

Eventually, we end up back at home, and Enty helps us with lugging some of the shopping down the stairs from the front door. I'm surprised to find nobody home, and while I try to calm myself, my heart inevitably starts beating faster, my mind immediately worrying about the location of my daughter.

I need not worry of course. There is a note on the dining table from Tosa, saying that they had gone to get ice cream from the cafeteria, then head to Niizuki's to watch a film. Apparently, Myōgi had been getting restless and Tosa wanted to treat her. The note itself is adorned with ornate borders and exquisite penmanship. Trust Tosa to let her artistic side out on a simple note.

Enterprise pouts at this news. "I haven't got to see her today at all. Damn, was looking toward to giving the little one a hug. Feels like I haven't seen her in a while."

Akagi smiles warmly at this. "You are most welcome to visit her whenever you wish. My daughter often laments that she does not see her Auntie Enty enough. Would be nice for her."

I try not to gasp and keep the surprised look from my face, continuing with unpacking the shopping. Akagi now allowed her into the house, true enough. But actively inviting her was something else, even if my daughter was the pretext to such a visit. She really must truly be in a good mood with Enterprise.

Finishing up the shopping, Enterprise says her goodbye's, giving Kaga a friendly hug then turning to me. I approach her, wrapping my arms around her tightly, taking in a hug before kissing her lovingly. I have to reach up and adjust her cap so that we kiss comfortably, but she doesn't seem to mind.

Even now she blushes lightly, purple eyes shining in embarrassment as our tongues wrestle. I can feel Akagi's eyes drilling into my back, but her aura seems less… aggressive than it had in the past... more… curious?

I have to stop myself from getting lost in the moment, pulling back and placing another short peck on her lips before speaking. "Goodbye. See you tomorrow?" I step backwards as I speak.

"Yep. Looking forward to it~" Enty smiles happily. Just as she's about to go, Akagi appears at my side.

"She a good kisser?"

Huh? Good kisser? There is a hint of bitterness to her question, but again… it feels like she's more being curious than anything.

"Hmph." Akagi decides to ignore my blank-faced response and calls out to Enty as she turns to leave, pausing at my wife's voice.

"Enterprise."

"Yea?" The words barely leave the Grey Ghost's lips before Akagi is upon her. She holds her shoulders delicately, pushing her lips against her rivals forcefully.

Enterprise is understandably stunned and confused, and I half expect her to push the kitsune away, but I'm stunned to watch her arms hesitate at first, but then slowly wrap around my wife's back gripping her tight as they both deepen their kiss.

Me and Kaga stand there slack-jawed, eyes not quite believing what we're seeing. My wife was making out with Enterprise… my lover, and her rival, just like that.

A cute moan slips from Enterprise's mouth in passion, Akagi's tails slowly winding around the both of them, teasingly brushing Enty's bare legs. Akagi is clearly the more dominant of the two, having initiated the kiss, biting Enterprise's bottom lip passionately.

After what feels like an hour, but was in actuality likely just a few seconds, they part breathlessly. Akagi shoots Enterprise a knowing grin before returning to my side. "Hmm. Yes. Not a bad kisser at all."

A bright red Enterprise looks back at us, and ears steaming waves a quick goodbye and runs up the stairs and out of sight.

"Um… I know I said I wanted you two to get along… but you didn't have to kiss her." I manage to stutter out, my own cheeks ablaze.

Akagi just grins and shrugs her shoulders. "True enough. But seeing as we were being candid, I thought why not. Might as well go the full mile, I'd be the first to admit she is attractive. And If I am to get along with her, I would like to keep her close, so to speak. Besides… I knew my dear husband would enjoy the show."

I go to deny it, but quickly give in. There was no point in the end. I couldn't lie, it had been one hell of a show. "Um… well. Ok."

Akagi laughs as my cheeks redden further. "Oh, Shikikan. I know what goes through your head already. Perhaps, given time. But I still need to get to know her better. And I'm sure the poor girl is very flustered by my performance, I give as good as I get after all. She'll need time to acclimatize before you invite her around. But yes, I will allow her into our bed, in time. It seems about time I should concede ground to her."

During all of this, Kaga is fiddling with her clothes, a thoroughly embarrassed look on her face. Akagi calls out to her sister teasingly. "Have you never thought of doing that, dear sister? You two have been close for a while now? You must have known Shikikan would approve?"

Kaga's eyes widen. "I… um… well…" Akagi just laughs and waves her off, knowing full well she'd never get a straight answer. "Right. Our delightful daughter shall be back anytime soon, let us get the rest of this shopping put away so I may spend some time with her. I haven't doted enough on the little one today."

She turns to me, crimson eyes filled with happiness as her tails swish back and forth. "And the same for you dear. Myōgi has not seen enough of her doting father, lets play some games with her, Kaga, care to join?"

Kaga nods enthusiastically, glad to be off the topic of Enterprise. While she had wanted them to bond, I think was a little shocked by Akagi brazenly making it sexual. So was I, although… this was Akagi we were talking about, so I suppose we shouldn't be?

The sound of the door opening minutes later and the young laughter that fills the room warms my heart and alerts us to the return of my daughter and Tosa. The day wasn't quite over yet, but it had certainly been an interesting one thus far…
