"Morning, kid." said Joe.

"(yawn) Where are we?" Eddie yawned.

"We're in California."

"Really?"

"See for yourself."

Eddie looked out the window and see the view. He smiled through the window. He finally made it to Los Angeles. He could finally see his sister again. He sighed happily.

"So, where to?" Joe asked.

"Excuse me?" Eddie turned his head around

"You have a place to go?"

"Oh. Uh... are there any cars here?" Eddie asked

"Well, there are some that you can use. You sure you can drive?"

"I already pass my driving test back home."

"Oh, you might wanna get your drivers license. Since you are here, you have to follow the rules when your in America. This country is different then any countries."

"So, I can't drive?"

"You can, but before we get started, gotta pick a car so that you can get your stuff loaded."

"Hmm..."

Later on, Eddie and Joe got out from the plane. They walk towards which car he can pick. There were only three types of vehicles. Eddie picked a pickup truck and Joe agrees. They brought the truck over closer to the plane so that they can unload it fast.

It took a few minutes to load it up one by one until the truck is loaded. Eddie picked up his suit case and his backpack. He exit the plane and set his suitcase in the back seat. Eddie took off his backpack to set in the front seat and step inside the driver seat.

He open the mirror ceiling as the key fell and he caught it. He turn the key to ignition when turned and put on his seatbelt. Joe approach close to the truck to talk to Eddie.

"Yep. Thanks for everything." replied Eddie.

"Anytime kiddo. Good luck finding your sister."

"I will."

Eddie shifted his gear to drive mode and drove off to an exit leaving Joe waving his hand. Once Eddie reach the exit, there was a small shed where a security guard was working. He looked outside when Eddie approach.

"Good morning." Eddie greeted.

"Morning." replied The security guard. "You here for a visit?"

"Well, I'm here to live my new life and looking for my sister."

"Alright, you have your passport?"

Eddie pulled out his passport and hand it to the security guard.

"Where are you from?"

"Hong Kong." Eddie answered.

"Any animals, fruits, or vegetables?"

"No."

"Weapons?"

"No."

When the guard was done checking him in, he gave the passport back to Eddie.

"Welcome to Los Angeles."

"Thank you."

Eddie start driving as he pass the checkpoint. He entered the highway as he amazed of all the sightseeing. He remembers where he used to live. His grandparents told him about his past before everything change.

He remembers everything when his grandparents took him on his vacation trip. He looked at the tallest building in L.A. when amazed. He saw some billboards where it shows some movie banner and a theme park advertising.

He pulled out his wallet and looked at the photo of himself and his sister when young. For the first time in his history, he smiled. He's home.

"I'm coming, Marcy."

Meanwhile back at home, Timon got out from the shower as he dry his fur off by using his towel. He whistles his favorite when walk over to get his necklace. He jumped up to get his necklace, but he noticed when there's a note on the nightstand. He picked up and look at the front where it says his name on it.

"Hmm. Strange."

He open the envelope and pulls out a paper. He blinked his eyes as he started to read.

"If you are reading this, your wish has been granted. In order to find what you are looking for, go to the mirror and looked closer to see what you can do."

He turned his head at the mirror where it stands by the drawers. He jumped down and walk towards to the mirror. He looked down at the letter again and then looked up at the mirror. He looked at himself for a moment, but then Pumbaa barged in.

"Breakfast!"

"GAH!" Timon yelped. "PUMBAA! Knock first!"

"Sorry, but just letting you know that breakfast is ready."

"Okay, I'll be right with you."

Pumbaa left the room. Timon looked at the letter again before putting back at the nightstand and ran out downstairs. He slide down the stair case until he jumped off to the kitchen and sat down at the table.

Marcy woke up before her dad could as she set down her cereal bowl with her clean clothes. She poured some cereal to her bowel, pour her milk, and start eating.

"Morning dad." Marcy chimed.

"Morning, Marcy. You sleep well?" Timon asked.

"Sure am. We got game expo coming up this week. I'm gonna go and get started for my practice until this Friday and then by Saturday, the big challenge begins!"

"Well, good luck practicing. And remember, you can't play all day and night. You need some rest and big break."

"Your father is right, you need to eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner. And then you can read books whenever you need a big break." Pumbaa jumped as he took a seat.

"Okay, Uncle Pumbaa." said Marcy before eating her cereal.

"That's my girl."

Timon picked up the newspaper and start reading. Pumbaa looked at him reading as a meerkat.

"(ahem) Uh, Timon?"

"Yeah?"

"Shouldn't you turn yourself into a human?"

"Maybe not right now, but it's Sunday."

"Yeah, but-"

"Alright! It's game time!" Marcy cut in after finish her breakfast.

"Done already?!"

"Yep, I'm gonna practice until my big break to stay healthy!"

"That's the spirit!" replied Timon.

"Love you guys!"

"Love you, too!" They both said in unison.

After Marcy left kitchen, they heard her footstep running upstairs and then they took a glance at each other.

"You were saying?" Timon asked.

"Well, if you ask me, are you sure you want to stay like that?"

"I was, but here's a hitch. Come here."

Pumbaa leaned closer to him.

"When I got out from the shower, there was an envelope on my bed."

"Really?"

"Yeah, and it's for me."

"Who send it to you?"

"I don't know."

It was silent for a moment until Pumbaa drink up the cereal with milk and set the bowl down.

"Okay, was it a love note? Or a secret admire?"

"Alright, let's head upstairs and I'll show you."

Both meerkat and warthog got off from the table. Pumbaa zipped in to some bowls in the sink just to be sure and then he followed him.

They walk upstairs to their room and stood by the mirror. Pumbaa was confused at first.

"What am I looking at?" Pumbaa asked.

"That's what I've been telling you. The note says "In order to find what you're looking for, go to the mirror and looked closer to see what you can do"." replied Timon.

"Why?"

"That's why we have to look closer."

Timon leaned in a bit.

"Closer."

Pumbaa leaned in too.

"Closer."

Pumbaa looked closer a little more.

"Closer."

Then suddenly, the mirror began to reflect like water when Pumbaa flinched.

"Did you see that?" Pumbaa exclaimed a bit.

"See what?" Timon asked.

"The mirror! It's wobbling or reflecting."

"What? Let me see that."

Timon looked closer to the mirror. Then he sees the mirror reflecting. He reach his arm to touch the mirror, but then his arm went through the mirror slowly. Timon was surprised when he pulled his arm out.

Pumbaa was stunned. They took a glance and then look at the mirror. Timon reach his arm to the mirror when he touch it and then his arm went through again. He stepped inside to reach to the other side.

Once he went through the looking glass, he move his head around and see the whole room like an office. Timon was stunned and awed. He knew that the letter was right.

"What do you know. It worked."

Then suddenly, Pumbaa burst his head through the mirror.

"Timon?"

"Pumbaa, look!"

"Wait, what is this place?"

"It sure looks like an office."

Timon walked off while Pumbaa climbed out from the mirror. He took a glance at the window and walk over there to see view. Timon walk over to the desk and looked at the paper until he heard Pumbaa.

"Are we in Disneyland?" Pumbaa asked.

"What?"

Timon zipped over tp the window. His eyes went wide as he realized it.

"Wait, are we at work?"

"I don't know think we're at work." Pumbaa answered.

"Then let's go outside and find out where we are."

Timon is on Pumbaa's back as they both exit the office. As they got out from the building, they stop and stood still in the middle where they both stunned in surprise. They were in a street that looks like Main Street USA, but with various cartoon characters roaming around the streets.

Humans and animals from 1930's to 2010's. There were kids running around with laughter. Pigeons flew over the roof. A toon pelican is riding on his bicycle. And they could see the castle up ahead.

"Pumbaa... I don't think were in California." said Timon stunned.

"It almost looks like Disneyland, but with cartoon characters." replied Pumbaa.

"You know, this place seems familiar, but where are we exactly?"

Suddenly, a gremlin shows up wearing purple jumpsuit shows up startling them.

"Why, you're in Mean Street!"

"Whoa!" Pumbaa startled

"What the?! Who are you?" Timon exclaimed.

"I'm Gremlin Jamface and welcome to Wasteland, home to all of forgotten cartoon characters!"

"Wasteland? Don't you mean Wonderland?" Pumbaa asked.

"Well apparently, the name was already taken. So, are you new here?"

"Oh, no. We're not new here. You see, my friend and I just got through the magic mirror." Timon answered.

"Hmm... if I may ask, where are you from?"

"We're from Los Angeles, well... we're originally from the Pride Lands." Pumbaa answered.

"(gasp) You're the stars from The Lion King?!" Jamface stunned.

"That's right, Timon and Pumbaa." said Timon proudly.

"Wait, are we cartoons?" Pumbaa asked confused.

"Of course, we are. What else do they expect?"

"OMG! I can't believe that you're actually here! Are you here for a visit?! Boy, the whole cast is gonna be surprise when you two are here?" said Jamface excitedly.

"Wait, did you say cast?"

"That's right! Cast and crew from your animated spinoff show that runs from 1995 until it ends in 1999."

"Oh boy! Oh boy! Do we get to meet them?!" Pumbaa excitedly hopping.

"I hope so, but however they seem to be very busy. But you're more welcome to have a tour around. If you need anything, you know to where find me by the telephone booth."

Jamface shows the red phonebooth to them where it stood spotless.

"Do you know where they are now?" Timon asked kindly.

"It's easy. They're in Ventureland, home to some swashbuckling pirates and wild animals." Jamface answered.

"Well, that was easy."

"But before you go, whatever you do, do not! I repeat, do not get lost! Stay in the middle of the track!"

"Yeah, yeah. thanks for the good news." Timon brushed off. "C'mon Pumbaa, let's go meet some cast!"

"Alright!" Pumbaa chimed.

They went off to Ventureland leaving Jamface behind. He scratched his head with his finger.

"Hmm, I hope they don't get into trouble."

Pumbaa walked happily while Timon is standing on top of the warthog's head.

"Can you believe it, Pumbaa? We're actually going to meet some old friends or foes and start to get to know each other."

"Me too! I can't wait to see them again."

"And I can't wait to see the girl that I use to have a crush on her."

"What?" Pumbaa froze.

Timon shrink his eyes. He was shocked that he said out loud in front of him.

"Uh, did I say "girl"? I mean pearl!" Timon stammered.

"Did you just say a girl? As in 'girlfriend'?"

"What? No!" Timon denied it. "Well, maybe?"

"I knew it! That's why Marcy was asking me."

"Wait, when?!"

"While you're in the shower, she asked me about your girlfriend and I told her everything." Pumbaa explained.

"Does she know?"

"Only if you would've told her like you said to her last night."

Timon completely forgot about talking to Marcy in the morning. He was sidetracked just to get himself clean.

"Okay, you got me. Sorry that I kept you a secret. The truth is that I made a wish on a shooting star last night and I'm the only meerkat that doesn't have any girlfriend from every franchise."

"Why didn't you?" Pumbaa asked.

"My contract says that you and I are an outcast. But now that we have families, we first raise Simba, then Bunga, and now Marcy. What's next, a wild talking frog?!"

"It's alright, Timon. I know how that feels. I'm sure that you could see her again."

"(sigh) You're right, Pumbaa. Let's head to the jungle and some old friends."

Pumbaa resume walking while Timon is still standing on top. Once they entered the jungle, there was a blue bird sitting on tree. But the bird slowly, giving them a sinister grinned by his beak.

Meanwhile back home, Marcy is playing her game switch in her room. She's been playing for an hour sitting on her bed. Her shoes were on floor meaning that she took off her shoes when she's on her bed.

"HA! Take that, Bowser! I got water and I am not afraid to use it!"

Suddenly, she heard a doorbell. She pause the game switch and set it down for a moment.

"Must be my friends. I'll get it!"

An Asian-American girl got off from her bed and walk downstairs to the door. She opens the door and looked surprised to see that it was Ethan wearing his button up cyan shirt, blue jeans, and green tennis shoes holding his satchel.

"Oh! Hi Ethan!" Marcy greeted.

"Hi, Marcy." Ethan replied back.

"What brings you here?"

"I thought I could come by for a visit, but um, is your dad home?"

Marcy hasn't thought about it yet.

"Hmm, I haven't heard them since I start practicing video game. Why do you ask?"

"Well, I was wondering if you could help me studying for work, if that's okay with you."

"Really?" Marcy raised her eyebrows.

"Uh huh. I hope he doesn't mind."

"One second." Marcy turns her head back to holler. "Dad! We have visitor!"

But the whole house was full of silence. They stood silence in three seconds until Marcy broke the silence.

"Hmm, that's weird. My dad never left, unless they went off for some grubs."

"What?"

"I mean, bug collecting!" Marcy quickly covered up her secrets. "You know, studying for biology."

"I didn't know that your dad and your uncle collecting bugs."

"Yeah, go figured. So, come in."

"Really? Thanks." Ethan kindly thanking her.

"Of course, you're more welcome to hang out."

Ethan walk through the doorway. Marcy close the door behind. They both entered the kitchen when Ethan sat down at the table.

"So, can I get you anything?" Marcy asked kindly.

"I like a glass of water, please." replied Ethan.

"Coming right up."

Marcy went to get two glass of water. Ethan pulled out his paper and his books for school works to get started.

"So, how's your family going?" Marcy asked.

"My family is doing great. My mom went took my dad for dentist appointment to check his teeth." replied Ethan.

"That sounds nice."

"Mmm hmm. How's your dad doing?"

"He's doing alright. My dad won his first place along with Sasha."

"Sasha?"

"Uh huh, she took my place for rollerblading racing when Anne tried to protect me."

"Was it like the last time when snakes escape the zoo?"

"Oh yeah. How about that." Marcy mumbled when blushing.

She set the glass down and pass one water to Ethan. They both drank their water and set their glass down.

"So, you ready for work?"

"Yep." replied Ethan.

"Alright, where do we start?"

Meanwhile in downtown L.A., Eddie parked the truck at the Department Motor Vehicle. He got out from the truck and walked inside the building to get his license. There were like less people taking their seats while others talking to receptionist at the desk.

Once Eddie walked closer to window for employee office, there was a woman wearing her glasses sitting at the desk doing her computer work. She looked up at Eddie when he approach.

"Hello." Eddie greeted.

"Can I help you?" asked The clerk lady.

"Yes, I'm here for my license because I moved here."

"Alright, name?

"Eddie Wu."

She typed her on her keyboard on the computer to get his license ready.

"And where are you from?"

"Hong Kong." Eddie answered.

"How old are you?"

"17."

"Alright, I'll set you up to take a picture for your ID."

"Thank you."

Eddie stood over there where people take pictures for their ID. Once they're done, Eddie got his very own drivers license and left the building. He got back inside the car and looked at his license.

"Alright, now that I got my license, and it's time to find my sister. But how am I going to find her? When was the last time when she was an orphan?"

Eddie hasn't thought about it, but then it hit him. He pulled out his phone and look through the internet. Hey typed down and start searching for the orphanage. Then he looked to the map, but he smiled a bit knowing that it was all too easy.

"Hmm, that was easy. Now I know where to look."
