Readers: How the fuck are you writing chapters so fast!
Author: I AM SPEED! KACHOW!
Jokes aside, I'm surprised I got this done this quickly after I just finished writing my Nier: Automata prologue.
Anyways!
This chapter is going to be heavy in terms of content and will have graphic scenes. If you can't handle it then skip the portion of the chapter where I give the warning.
If you like that sort of thing, however, then I hope you enjoy!
Don't let the happy moments and the slice of life distract you, because this is when those moments of innocence start to be ripped apart and the true colors of this story will be displayed.
To those who voted for me to go Apeshit with Kiba's story, this is the chapter that will be the start of it. I hope this lives up to your expectations.
To ZakHanma, this chapter will answer your question on how Gorou owns a gun.

Kuoh Town: April 28, XXXX (Night Time)
Yuuma's POV
I sat on the couch of our living room as I couldn't help but nervously fidget and twitch. My eyes wandered about as I couldn't make eye contact with my Uncle who sat across from me. His constant staring only made me even more nervous as it made me feel like I did something wrong.
Which is because I actually did do something wrong. My eyes wandered and landed on my "caretakers" who were kneeling in my Uncle's direction as if they were knights or some dumb shit. I mentally scoffed at how buttery they were acting. What happened to the tough act that they had when they agreed to bring me here?
Avoiding my Uncle's eyes once again, I looked in the direction of my friend who at least acted honestly and wasn't ready to lose her dignity. Mittelt looked up from her phone at me before flipping me off to which I responded back. She rolled her eyes at me as I giggled before Uncle's voice caused me to stiffen.
Y/n: "Why are you here, Raynare?"
Guh, of course he would just call me out of my disguise. Not like I wasn't trying to stay hidden, fucking asshole. Sometimes I don't know when he's being an asshole or when he's being genuine. His stoic face makes it impossible to tell.
Raynare/Yuuma: "Because I want to be."
I didn't say any more. He didn't need to know that I came here without letting Dad know. Bastard is always working and never pays attention to me anyways, probably wouldn't notice me gone.
Y/n: "Does your Father know?"
Of course he had to ask. I mentally clicked my tongue as I stayed quiet. Uncle Y/n has patience. Something that I've dealt with myself ever since I was younger. Whenever Dad couldn't watch over me, Uncle Y/n did. Either in-person or through one of his "clones" or whatever they are. Nonetheless, I grew to love and hate him.
It didn't matter how much I kept quiet or how much I resisted. He would always wait for me to crack up and I would always end up being irritated for doing so. The fact that he doesn't have to do anything but sit there and stare, yet I still broke down and confessed whatever I did was both infuriating and shameful. It didn't help that his stoic face hid his intentions and emotions, making it hard to distinguish what he felt about me or the trouble I caused.
Much like now.
It's why instead of me telling him the answer, I'll just have my "caretakers" do it. For a minute, I didn't say anything except stare back at him while showing no indication of backing down. But, for just a moment, my eyes drifted to the two Fallen Angels kneeling on the ground.
It was in that moment that Uncle shifted his eyes to the two kneeling to the side of the living room. That was another thing that I disliked about Uncle. He was far too sharp and observing, making it so that he can pick up even the slightest intentions from a twitch of a finger.
Y/n: "Dohnaseek, Kalawarner, why wasn't anyone notified of this."
They both stiffened before standing up straight. I eyed them before rolling my eyes. Dohnaseek was still wearing his goddamn fedora when we are indoors. Fucking trench-coat wearing pedophilic detective looking ass.
My attention shifted from him to Kalawarner before I swore I heard the sound of her tits bouncing from the motion of standing up. Mittlet seemed to had heard it as well as she looked up from her phone before glaring at Kalawarner.
Mittlet: "Fucking cow. Do that shit again and I promise you I'll cut those lumps of fat off, turn it to ground beef, and feed it to you for dinner."
I nodded my head in agreement. Although I was of moderate size, comparing Mittlet's and mines to hers was like comparing a lake to the ocean. It may not seem like a big deal to most, but to us self-conscious people, it does major damage to our self-confidence. Especially when our bodies stop growing at a certain point.
Kalawarner paid us no mind as she stared at Uncle and awaited for orders. Mittlet grit her teeth in frustration before going back to her phone. I wish I could've done the same, but since this involves me I had to at least pay attention. Dohnaseek was the first to speak of the two, his groggy voice made me instinctively clear my own throat.
Raynare: 'Get a cough drop! That shit sounds like it hurts!'
Dohnaseek: "Sir Y/n, we both reported to our Superior who said they were going to inform Azazel of our expedition."
Just the mere mention of Dad's name brought some sourness to my mouth. I turned my head to look at Uncle to see his reaction. Which was useless since he didn't respond in the slightest except stare at them.
Kalawarner: "Indeed. We even have the documents of approval with us."
Uncle didn't say anything except stretch his arm out, which I translated to "Then give it, bitch.". Ha! I swear I can keep myself entertained by putting my own dub over his actions. Kalawarner reached into her bag that she had on her shoulder and whipped out a stack of papers.
Causing...
her...
tits...
to...
bounce...
very...
aggressively...
And was that a smug smile that she flashed us?!
Raynare: 'Oh hell no!'
I was about to show her a piece of my mind but Mittlet beat me to it by already charging at her. I shielded my eyes as a violent gust of wind exploded from the impact. Turning back, Mittlet and Kalawarner were in a stalemate as their spears of light vibrated against one another in their clash. The coffee table in the middle of the room was shattered as its pieces laid on the other side of the room. Almost everything was in disarray with the exception of the couches.
Kalawarner: "Is that any way to act when we have a guest?"
She spoke nonchalantly as she stared down at Mittlet due to their difference in height. Dohnaseek didn't pay them any attention as he handed the papers to Y/n who started reading them.
Mittlet: "Does it look like I care?"
She answered back as she glared harshly at Kalawarner, who rolled her eyes before looking at Mittlet from top to bottom. Kalawarner then gave her a look of pity as she smiled at her sadly.
Kalawarner: "Looks like manners isn't the only thing you're lacking, dear~"
Mittlet: "Fucking whore!"
Mittlet's face contorted in anger as she summoned another spear and thrusted it at Kalawarner's midsection. Only for it to be dodged at the last moment before sparks flew as Kalawarner took a step back. Their spears of light shattered from the clash before reforming again as they readied themselves to lunge.
Just as they lunged, the ends of their spears were just inches away from each others faces as they were suddenly stopped by a sudden force. I hadn't even noticed when, but Uncle had appeared between them as he held their blades steady as if they were nothing.
Mittlet: "W-What the hell?!"
Y/n causally pushed them away, causing them to stumble and take a few steps back. Kalawarner was the first one to dismiss her weapon before standing at attention once again. Mittlet on the other hand was seething in anger. It was at this point that I realized that I should just calm her down before she does something she regrets.
Raynare: "Oi! Mitty, calm down."
Mittlet turned to me as she waved her spear at me. I wasn't fazed by it since I knew she wouldn't actually hurt me.
Mittlet: "I'll calm down once I butcher that old hag! Now tell your Uncle to get the fuck out of the way!"
Seeing that she wasn't going to calm down anytime soon, I simply nodded my head to Y/n to which he nodded back. Seeing us do this, Mittlet looked at us confusingly before turning to him when she saw him slowly walking towards her.
Mittlet: "What? You got something to say? Tell me to calm down and I'll shove this up your ass!"
She yelled at him while waving her spear around. Dohnaseek sighed tiredly before heading into the kitchen. Kalawarner looked at us but one glare from me made her follow behind him. With only Mittlet, Y/n, and me in the living room, the tension had gone down just a bit.
Y/n: "You are far too inexperienced to be able to achieve that."
Uncle spoke as he stood in front of her. She grit her teeth as I could see the look in her eyes as she contemplated whether to go through with it or not. Her eyes glanced in my direction for a moment before I shook my head to tell her to really stop. I was worried that she would've done it anyways but I sighed in relief when her spear turned to molts of light.
Mittlet: "F-Fine! Dammit! Just tell her that if she does that shit again I'll really skewer her!"
Y/n nodded his head before Mittlet turned and walked in the direction of the stairs. She stopped just at the doorway before she glanced over her should at us.
Mittlet: "Sorry for causing trouble for you and your Uncle."
She apologized in a whisper that I barely heard. She had a sad look as she eyed us both for a reaction. I simply waved it off, she was always short-tempered whenever it came to comparing herself to others. I wouldn't and couldn't blame her for that.
Raynare: "It's fine, wasn't planning for a family reunion when we made this trip anyways."
The gothic-lolita sent a grateful look at me before waving goodbye.
Mittlet: "Good night, RayRay."
Raynare: "Good night, Mitty."
Her figure then disappeared into the darkness of the hallway as her quiet footsteps were heard walking up the stairs. Once the sound of her door opening and closing was heard, I turned my head back to my Uncle who was back to staring at me.
Y/n: "Enjoying your stay so far?"
Raynare: "Oh, for sure. Wanted to run away from home and start over but ended up running into my Uncle who works as a teacher at the school I go to. Next thing I know he shows up at my house in the dead of night and causes my two stuck-up 'caretakers' to become 'yes-men' while my friend starts a fight under my roof. Enjoying it to the fullest."
I spat out sarcastically at him as he sat there and took it. I knew it wasn't right of me to do, but in the moment of anger and frustration, I just wanted to vent out.
Raynare: "Now, said Uncle is gonna tell good ol' Dad about his disobedient daughter leaving home without him knowing. NOT THAT HE WOULD ACTUALLY CARE! And I'm still gonna get in trouble even though I simply want to explore the world just like he said!"
Memories played out in my mind of those lonely times of having no one to talk to. Playing alone, talking to no one, eating with no one. The only times when she actually had fun was when Y/n came by and read her stories of the Human world. But even then, he had started to come by less and less. The more she grew, the more built up her negative emotions became. The breaking point was when her Dad brought home her supposedly adoptive Brother. It was then that she hardly seen him at all as he spent most of his time with him.
Raynare: "Do you know why I'm even doing this?! Do you why I became the shitty brat you see now?! Do you even care?! Always looking at me with that blank look as if I'm just a pebble on the side of the fucking street! You're the same as everyone else!"
As this point, my throat hurt with how loud I was yelling at him. I could vaguely see the heads of Dohnaseek and Kalawarner sticking out of the kitchen to watch. I snapped my head in their direction and threw the densest light spear I could make at them. They ducked just as the spear flew at fast speeds before missing and piercing the wall and going outside.
Raynare: "Mind your damn business fuckers! You were supposed to do the right thing and yet you still fucked it up!"
I didn't know when but I was breathing heavily while my eyes stung as tears started to build up. I turned back to look at Y/n but he didn't show any emotions. I felt myself get angrier at that. My mind was filled with vast amounts of doubt and frustration as I imagined being taken back to that place.
'Say something!'
I stood up and felt my legs and hands tremble as I slowly walked towards him.
'Tell me how you really feel!'
My chest felt like a void of loneliness was spreading throughout my body.
'Do you hate me?!'
I stopped just in front of him.
'Am I just a nuisance for you too?!'
He stared at me in the eye as he stood up and towered over me by an inch or two.
'Are you going to leave me, too?!'
We both stood in silence as I felt the tears spill and slide down my face. The small sniffles that came out of me unwillingly were accompanied with the occasional hiccup that caused my shoulders to jump.
I didn't know what to expect. Uncle Y/n was always a mystery and I could never understand the way he thought. Even now as a grown teenager, I couldn't understand what had gone through his head.
One moment he may seem like a relaxed person who you could make small talk to, the next he seemed like the coldest person to have ever lived. So it was a surprise when I suddenly felt his arms wrap around my body and pull me into a hug.
It was so surprising, that I mentally shut down for a moment and stood still. When my mind was finally able to process what he did, I couldn't hold it anymore and sobbed into his chest.
It was a pleasant and warm surprise.
Y/n: "You can stay."
His words only caused my to cry harder. I cried and cried while clutching onto his clothes while basking in the warm and soothing feeling he emitted. I didn't care who was watching or how ugly my wallowing sounded. At the moment, I simply just wanted to forget about all of my problems.

Y/n's POV
I slowly opened the door to Raynare's bedroom while I carried her sleeping form in my arms. Her slight breathing told me that she was indeed sleeping and not faking it like she used to when she was younger. Managing to make my way through the unpacked boxes, I found her bed and gently placed her inside its covers.
With how gently I put her down, she barely stirred in her sleep and seemingly relaxed in the bed. I brought the covers over her before tucking her in while wiping the last remnants of her tears.
Y/n: 'It seems I must have a word with Azazel.'
I mentally noted before walking out of her room and gently closing the door. I turned and walked in the direction of the stairs before I stopped when I saw Mittlet's figure standing there. She leaned on the rail of the stairs as she crossed her arms. Her eyes turned to look at me as I stood here.
Mittlet: "There is only so much I can do, you know?"
She spoke after a moment of silence. I merely looked at her and waited for her to continue.
Mittlet: "That place isn't exactly ideal for growing children. I should know since I've been in a similar position, and look at how I ended up."
I walked towards her before leaning on the opposite rail. She looked up at me as I could see the small smile she had, even through the dark.
Mittlet: "She's only 16. Unlike me, who had to deal with it for 429 years all alone, at least she's had you for support."
I nodded my head before looking down the stairs.
Y/n: "And they millenniums."
Mittlet scoffed a little under her breath.
Mittlet: "Fedora and Slut down there may be older than us and I'm sure they experienced their own troubles, but that doesn't mean they can be asses about it."
Her displeasure was obvious, and I chose not to say anything. Instead I walked over to her and brought her in a side hug as I stood next to her. She looked like she was gonna protest before she stopped herself and finally accepted it. I was glad that the aura I emitted was able to calm those around me. Much like with Raynare, Mittlet began to relax and simply enjoy the warmth.
Mittlet: "Not everyone can handle being alone, you know? The others in the Grigori always make fun of Humans for being weak, but lock one of them up for long enough and they'll break just as easily."
Y/n: "There's only so much one can take. Even Gods are no exception."
Mittlet didn't say anything else as she stayed in the hug for a while. After the clock downstairs rung to indicate midnight, she reluctantly let go of the hug and walked to her room.
Mittlet: "Sorry again, for yelling at you. You didn't deserve that, and besides, you're just as cool as RayRay described you as."
That caused me to let out a small huff of air that almost resembled a chuckle. This caused her to quickly turn to me. But when she saw my blank look, she disappointingly turned back as she said goodnight and closed her door.
I turned and walked downstairs where Dohnaseek and Kalawarner were waiting. They stiffened as they noticed me enter the room and took a seat in front of them. I switched my attention between the two as I pulled out the approval papers that they had shown me.
Y/n: "Care to explain?"
I calmly asked while waving the papers in front of them. They avoided looking into my eyes, showing just how much trouble they knew they had caused.
Kalawarner: "He was the only one available at that time."
Y/n: "He's the only one available all the time."
I instantly countered much to her annoyance.
Dohnaseek: "There shouldn't be an issue, he's been compliant and reserved for over five centuries now."
He tried to justify while sternly glaring into my eyes. I didn't care and calmly shot back.
Y/n: "He's been observing and preparing. You were his pawns the moment you sought his approval."
Dohnaseek glared harder as he didn't like that. His fists clenched as he fought the urge to stand up.
Dohnaseek: "Call me a pawn again and I'll kill you, Wingless Angel."
He seethed out expecting a reaction out of me. The tiniest forms of light were gathering around his hands as they waited for him to command it. I snapped my fingers and quickly dispelled it before he could manifest a weapon. He clicked his tongue as he breathed out angrily.
Y/n: "My niece and her friend are asleep. If you wish to test my combat capabilities then I suggest we take this outside."
Before he could agree to the challenge, Kalawarner covered his mouth as she gave him a disapproving look. He glanced between me and her before finally calming down.
Kalawarner: "Idiot, have you forgotten what he is capable of even without his wings?!"
She whispered harshly into his ear, to which I could still hear. Dohnaseek grumbled underneath his breath before sitting silently. Seeing that the potential conflict is over, I placed the papers beside me on the couch and told them of my decision.
Y/n: "For as long as Raynare stays, I will take residence here as well. This will not be negotiable and I expect the two of you to return to the Grigori by the time the sun sets tomorrow."
I stood up, ignoring the looks that they had, as I walked towards the entrance of the house.
Y/n: "If you are not gone by then, I will consider you strays and you will be dealt with accordingly."
Closing the door, I walked out of the residential area and towards the direction of where I felt the presences of the Sitri and Gremory Heiresses. Scenarios ran in my head as I took in every possibility that May occur in the future.
He was becoming a problem. This wouldn't have been an issue if I had just dealt with him from the beginning. But I had relented and instead allowed Azazel to do as he pleased with him. And now we are facing the consequences.

Kuoh Town: May 2, XXXX
3rd POV
Issei woke up with great vigor as he got into the shower. He made sure to clean every spot on his body as well as making sure his hair was actually neat this time. He wanted to look his best, even if today ended badly.
Today was the day.
Sunday.
The day Yuuma and him scheduled their meeting so he could show her around town. Issei was both excited and nervous since this was his first time hanging out with someone he barely knew. An attractive girl no less. Sure he hung out with Aika and Irina, and he wouldn't lie and say they weren't pretty, but they were both long time friends.
This, on the other hand, was entirely different because Issei, himself, felt attracted with the person he was going to spend his time with. Now, don't get him wrong, Issei knew what he felt was more than what he felt for Aika, Irina, Motohama, and Matsuda. But the idea of him falling in love with a girl he just met left him with a bitter expression. It made him feel disgusted with himself for liking her simply for her looks, which is why he's trying to organize his thoughts on where to go so he can find out her interests and hobbies.
Issei: 'Bookstore? Arcade? Aquarium? Cafe?'
He asked himself as he let the water run down his head from the shower-head. Other options rang in his mind like the park or the mall, but in the end he just shook his head.
Issei: 'This isn't an anime damnit! Just show her the necessities like the grocery store and the shopping district.'
After a little argument with Ddraig for making fun of him for being nervous Issei was ready for the day as he ate breakfast. His mother had prepared him the usual eggs with toast, but from the looks of it she had already left for the daycare. His dad, however, sat in his usual spot with his usual cup of coffee.
Issei: "Hey, dad. So, like is there any interesting places in town I could show my new friend?"
His dad looked at him as curiously before thinking a bit. After a moment he nodded his head to himself before looking at Issei while smiling.
Gorou: "Yeah, actually there is. Near the office I work in, there is a new arcade that was built. If your new friend likes those kind of things then swing by."
Issei nodded his head appreciatively while taking note to at least check it out today in case any of the others wanted to hang out there. After finishing his meal and cleaning the dishes, Gorou and Issei walked out at the same time.
Gorou: "I know I don't need to tell you this, but be careful. I want you back home before five."
His dad looked at him concerned as he straightened his suit and tie. Issei rolled his eyes but still nodded his head.
Gorou: "Good. I'll see you tonight."
Issei: "Alright, I'll see you later."
They both waved each other goodbye before heading in opposite directions. Issei nervously checked his phone for the time as he made his way to the agreed meeting placed, which was the park on the other side of time with a water fountain.

Gorou's POV
I walked down the street that led to my office building. The documents within my briefcase shuffled as I walked in a steady rhythm. There was barely any people out on the streets this early in the morning, though I doubted it would stay that long in the next hour.
It was a Sunday after all.
There was nothing to do aside from walking, so I let my mind wonder to my son who was obviously going on a date with someone. I didn't have a particular problem with that, though I did wonder who it was since he never talked about them.
I felt kind of bad for lying about the new arcade, but with the frequent increase of yakuza activity around town, I couldn't handle the possibility of him being hurt. At least with him coming here I can keep an eye on him.
After almost an hour of walking, I had made it to the building that was six floors high. It was bigger than most, but was nothing compared to the ones in the cities. I opened the front door and made my way in while giving a greeting to the receptionist who was barely awake.
Taking the elevator to the floor that I usually worked at, I walked to my cubicle and set my briefcase down. I flipped the computer on and imputed my credentials as it signed me in. I diligently worked and transferred the data from the papers in my briefcase to the computer.
As I was almost done, a tap on my shoulder indicated that someone wanted my attention. I turned and came face to face with my young assistant and partner who was grinning at me with a cup of steaming coffee stretched out towards me. I grinned back before taking it.
Gorou: "Ooohh! Thanks, Hiroshi-kun."
Hiroshi: "You're welcome, Hyoudou-san! I just saw how tired you looked and decided to help out."
I laughed at how shy he was acting. Even after working with me for almost two years now, he still couldn't seem to get any more confident.
Gorou: "Ahahaha! Well either way, I appreciate it. Been getting kind of tired from all the paper they give us."
Hiroshi: "Ehehehe...yeah, I just hope it stays that way. No offense Hyoudou-san, but I don't think I'm ready for anything serious."
I chuckled before finishing my drink. Hiroshi took a seat next to me while he brought out his own files out to organize.
Gorou: "Sooner or later you're gonna have to, Hiroshi-kun. But that's not up to us to decide, if the higher ups wanna send us out then we have no choice but to go."
His shoulders slumped as he gave a nervous okay. I smiled before going back to work.

Across Town: Residential Area
3rd POV
A young girl of the age of 17 laid on her bed as she texted her friends on the phone. Today was the day they were going to hang out at the bookstore and visit the newly built sweets shop. She giggled to herself when she imagined her two friends eating together.
They were simply the cutest! Sadly, they weren't together even though they acted like boyfriend and girlfriend. But it wasn't her place to say anything.
Checking the time, the young girl quickly took a shower to freshen up and got dressed. As she was getting dressed, the sound of someone ringing the front door bell rang throughout the house. The young girl quirked an eyebrow since her mom and dad were already home and her friends weren't anywhere near where she lived.
Not seeing any reason to rush, she calmly got herself dressed in a white dress with matching white shoes and knee socks. She liked her outfits plain and not too outlandish, but that was something she would work on later.
The grumbling of her stomach let her know that she still had yet to eat breakfast.
The ringing of the doorbell sounded once more as she saw her dad walk towards the entrance. She didn't want to starve any longer so she simply entered the dining room and sat down while forking some food into her mouth.
Mother: "Slow down, young lady."
Girl: "Ugh...okay, mom."
The young girl slowly ate her food as she watched her mother walk to fetch her father. After a few minutes of eating and noticing they hadn't came back, she grew curious and walked into the hallway after she put my dishes up. The girl's footsteps creaked on the floor as she made her way through the dimly lit hallway.
"Mom?"
"Dad?"

Kuoh Town: Kuoh Airport
3rd POV
The airport for Kuoh was never as busy as the ones in the city. This was a small town after all. The only people who came were tourists or relatives of residents who had long lived here. The occasional new family would move in to get away from the city, but all in all, the airports were quiet.
The same could have been said at the moment, were it not for the happy cute squeals of a blond nun coming to collect her luggage.
Asia: "OOOOOOHH! Look at this, Xenovia! It's a Japanese Airport!"
Xenovia walked right behind her while shaking her head. She couldn't understand her friend's excitement, it was just an Airport. Griselda and Ayla both followed behind them while searching for their luggage through the conveyor belts.
Xenovia: "Asia, calm yourself. You're too loud."
Asia paid her no mind as she skipped her way and watched the conveyor belts move in a constant motion. Her eyes shined in curiosity and fascination that only seemed to grow the longer they stayed here. And considering that their mission was said to last a few weeks, this would be a problem for sure.
But for now, Xenovia decided to let her friend enjoy it since it was their first time out of Church grounds.
Once they found their luggage, they all made their way to the exit. Asia on multiple occasions had tried to test her Japanese with a few passerby's but Xenovia quickly intervened. It wasn't because she was annoyed that her friend would make small talk, but it was because her Japanese was so bad that even Xenovia got second-hand embarrassment. The fact that Asia just smiled as if nothing was wrong and still tried anyways was only making it more embarrassing.
All four of them now stood waiting outside the airport for a taxi. Xenovia kept her eye on Asia while the little blonde girl kept staring at everything and anything that caught her interest.
Ayla: "Should we head straight to the Town's church?"
Griselda thought about it for a moment before she shook her head. She then turned her head to the two young woman of the group causing Ayla to look at them as well.
Griselda: "It would be best for them to rest after a long journey. At least for today."
Ayla: "Then my house it is!"
Ayla spoke as she giggled. Griselda rolled her eyes but still had a smile.
Griselda: "If you are not troubled then yes, we would best have our stay in your house. Though I do believe we should check in on the church by tonight."
Ayla nodded her head before noticing a cab coming towards them. She turned and called the other girls over and soon they entered the cab that drove them to Ayla's house.

Shopping District: Park
Yuuma/Raynare's POV
I patiently waited for my guide for the day as I sat on a bench beside the water fountain. The sun was rising higher and higher into the sky as time went on. I wasn't even angry about how long I waited since I came here pretty early. Plus, my outburst that night allowed me to get rid of some of my frustrations, even if it was directed at Uncle.
I was surprised when I woke up the next day and saw him cooking us breakfast, the fact that Kalawarner and Dohnaseek were gone was another bonus. Didn't care where they went, Mittlet and I were just glad to have them gone. Less headaches that way.
Uncle Y/n told us about the new arrangement and how he was going to be our guardian now. So, not only did I get to stay and have my freedom, I also got breakfast and dinner made by Y/n, and some guaranteed protection. Couldn't have been happier.
The only downside was the fact that everyone now knew that he and I were related. Several of the Devils hadn't left me alone the past few days. Fucking weirdos asking for our personal information. I obviously brushed them off, but they only seemed to come back twice as annoying.
The only Devils I could tolerate is the short white-haired midget and her boyfriend. The red-head was too annoying with her theatrics while that half Devil/Fallen bitch was far from friendly when we were alone.
The student council could go fuck itself, and that Riser fuck can fuck himself for all I care. I didn't ask to be born a Fallen.
Irina and her group were fun to be with. Though her ring was hard to ignore with how much Holy essence it emitted, surprisingly the Devils didn't do anything about it.
Aika was fun to be around when she wasn't making sexual innuendos all the time and the two idiots, Matsuda and Motohama, were alright so long as they don't bother me for notes.
Issei was an enigma for me.
Speak of the Devil, here he comes.
He was average looking, had average grades, and was average in terms of fitness. Not that I was looking at him during PE or anything...maybe just a little. Guh! I could feel the heat creep up to my face as my cheeks burned in embarrassment. Or was it from excitement?
He greeted me as he walked to me. I got up from the bench and waved him hello absentmindedly. My mind was still caught up in my previous thoughts, as I just nodded to whatever he said.
Ugh! I just don't know anymore! At first I simply saw him as just a friend of Irina. But once our eyes met, it was like something just sparked within me.
It wasn't lust or anything like that.
I would kill myself if I ever found myself acting like a slut like Kalawarner or those whores in the Grigori. Dropping their panties for the first person they see that they think can give them a good time. Just thinking of myself in their place made me want to shove a spear through my nether regions to cleanse the foul substances.
It was simply a sudden feeling of interest.
A feeling that grew the more time I spent with him, even if we weren't talking directly to each other. This couldn't be love, I was sure that it wasn't the case. We barely knew each other and this was our first time meeting together outside of school.
It seemed that I was so lost in my thoughts that I didn't notice I almost walked into oncoming traffic.
Issei: "Hey! Are you okay, Yuuma?"
He had his hand wrapped around my wrist with his other arm wrapped around my waist. I stood frozen as I turned my eyes to look at the truck that had passed by with the driving flipping us off. I would've flipped him off myself if I don't have a facade to keep up.
Yuuma: "H-Huh?! O-Oh! S-Sorry, I was too lost in thought! Thanks for saving me."
Issei looked down at me with eyes filled with concern. I looked away since I only felt guilt from having been the cause, and yet I felt my body beat up from how close we were to each other. It was only made worse when he used his hand to bring my chin in his direction.
Issei: "You don't look too good. Are you sure you're okay? We can just take a seat and rest or maybe do this another day."
His words just made me feel all the more guilty and frustrated. Not cause he did anything wrong, but because I had to act like this timid and shy ass character. I'm sure that even if I got hit by that speeding truck, the only thing I would end up with was a headache and a bruise. Another thing I hated was how hard it was to be someone I wasn't. I didn't expect it to be this difficult, but this first week made me realize just how dumb I was to think so.
Nonetheless, I kept the attitude up. What would Irina, Issei, or the rest of them think if this whole facade was just to hide the irritating bitch I actually was. I doubted they would tolerate me for an hour.
Before Issei could ask or do anything more, I simply hugged his arm against my chest and put the best innocent smile I could.
Yuuma: "It's fine, Issei. Let's just go. There's this arcade I saw on the way here that I want to try."
At first I was worried he wouldn't buy the act, but soon he nodded his head and smiled. I knew that he wasn't genuinely smiling, this one was nothing compared to the smiles he had when I saw him in school.
And the fact that I was the cause of it only made me more disgusted with myself.

Across Town: Residential Area
3rd POV
The house was quiet.
There was no noise that came out of the house even when the neighbors came and knocked on their door.
They chalked it up to them watching a movie or them probably off somewhere.
Oh how wrong they were.
A small barrier was erected around the house. Concealing the sounds and stench that the inside emitted.
The stench of iron, rot, meat, and death.
The outside of the house was quiet.
The inside of the house was far from it.
"AHHHHHHHHHH!"
A girl screamed as the sickening sound of flesh being crushed resonated through the hallways of this loving family's home. The hallway floors were drenched in the crimson liquid as it led a trail from the entrance to the living room.
There were no lights, aside from the yellow glow of candles from the living room. The sound of sobbing echoed in the quiet house as the scream died down.
Within the room, a loving husband, wife, and daughter were bound to their dining chairs. The room was covered in the stench and essence of their bodies.
Currently, the husband was crying his heart out as his daughter screamed in pain once again.
"DAAAAADDD, MOOOOOOOMMMM! H-HELLLLPP!"
"PLEASE! LEAVE HER ALONE!"
His throat was sore from his constant pleas and cries for help. None of which were going to be answered. The young man that stood before them made sure of it. Tears streamed down the husband's face as snot and blood dripped from his nose. His clothes were ripped and ragged as many cuts and bruises were revealed underneath.
The wife hadn't made a noise as her body sat limped in her chair. Her fingers were gone from the bones and her feet were mutilated from their ankles. Her clothes were in an even worse condition as they were burnt to a crisp along with her arms and back. Her chest was sliced open to reveal her rib cage and her organs had spilled out from the abuse she had received.
Her head had long lost the signs of life as her eye sockets were left empty and her tongue hung from her missing bottom jaw. Her skull was visible from the top of her head as her hair was peeled off from her hairline to the back of her neck. If this wasn't an indication that the woman was dead, then the fact that her head was staked on a sword was.
The husband powered through the image of his headless wife's body as he looked past it at his daughter who was in pain.
"DADDDDD! IT HURTS! IM SCARED! IT HURTS TOO MUCH!"
"WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS?!"
The daughter was far worse than he was, and the torture was still going. Her face was missing flesh as the young man sliced chunk after chunk. Her nails were yanked from her fingers while her fingers themselves twisted in every way.
The ropes that bounded around her arms and leg dug tightly into her flesh as she struggled against the pain. Her head was kept facing straight as the ends of two blades punctured her ears, and only impaled themselves further if she moved her head.
It was also why she couldn't hear anymore, despite how loud her father called out to her. The last thing she heard was the dying scream of her mother before she was deaf. But that didn't mean she didn't cry out to them.
"DAAAAAAADDDDDYYYY! MOMMMMYYY!"
Her throat was sore and blood spilled into her mouth as the vibrations from yelling so much caused her throat to bruise. The man didn't respond to either of them as he kept going with his act. He pulled out a wrench before placing the opening on her exposed toe. The girl felt it and tried her best to curl her toes up, but one strong plummet from the wrench caused her to stretch them out in pain.
Once her toe was in place, the man gave a quick jerk before her toe was now upside down. He then gave another jerk and completed the circle before yanking as hard as he could.
"AAHHHHHHHHHH! IT HURRRTS!"
Her toe ripped from its socket as her bone could be seen exposed and drenched in blood.
Her father struggled against his bindings as he screamed and screamed. The pain of the rope digging into his flesh was now only an afterthought as he tried to break free.
"STOP IT!"
It was only then that the man stopped before turning to face the father. The candle light barely gave the father a view of young man who wore clothing of that of the Church. He had a wooden cross necklace that hung around his neck while his hands were gloves by black leather gloves. The young man's bluish gray eyes stared at the father coldly while his blonde hair was brushed to the side by his less bloodied hand. A mole was barely visible underneath his left eye, and if it were any other situation, the father would have admit that the man was handsome.
?: "I will stop when you tell me the location of Valper Galilei!"
He coldly stated as he glared at the father. The daughter could be heard in the side sobbing and struggling to keep her head straight, causing her dad to glance at her and grit his teeth.
"For the last time I don't know who that is!"
The young man's face scrunched up in anger before he swung his fist against the dad's face. Teeth flew out of his mouth as his check immediately swelled up. His breathing became haggard as he could barely stay conscious.
?: "Tell. Me. Where. He. Is!"
Before anything else could happen, the sickening sound of a wet crunch was heard in the direction of the man's daughter. They both turned to the sound and found that the daughter had embedded the right blade through her entire skull. Her body twitched and spasmed, showing just how recent she had done it.
Suicide.
The father say frozen as he processed this. His eyes dulled as he lost the last reason to keep fighting and living. Tears spilled more than ever as he heaved angrily. His head turned to their torturer and his eyes blazed in a final moment of rage.
With only his will-power, the father shifted his feet downward, causing the right bonds of rope to scrap his skin and peeled it to his bones. He ignored the pain and once his feet were able to get him to stand, he lunged at the young man with his mouth open. Even with his arms and legs bound, he could still rip his throat and kill him as vengeance.
Just as he leaped and was close to tackling him, the wooden floor underneath his suddenly bursted as dozens of swords pieced his body. His corpse slowly slid down the swords, showing how sharp they were, as the father's life ceased. The young man clicked his tongue in annoyance before he turned when the front door of the house opened.
Judging by the sound of boots against the wooden floor, the young man presumed it to be his partner and mentor.
?: "Aaahhhh! I just love the smell of death in the morning!"
The individual with the crude voice walked into the living room and smiled broadly at the scene. He wore a black coat over his white cleric uniform while a golden cross dangled around his neck. His gray hair that reached his shoulders was crudely kept and the smile he had was deranged and psychotic.
The blonde young man looked blankly at his mentor before sighing.
?: "Father Freed, how goes the search."
(This is his title, not his actual father)
Father Freed: "Huh? Who gives a shit! Cause I don't! Let's get to the real stuff, shall we? Judging by the state of the room I'd give you a 0/10!"
The young man looked unamused by Freed's dismissal. Freed didn't care as he walked to the body of the wife and daughter.
Freed: "What the fuck is wrong with you?!"
He spun around with an angered expression after examining the corpses. Freed then grabbed the wife's head off the stake it was on before shoving it in the young man's face.
Freed: "Kiba! Are you fucking retarded? Wait, don't answer that. Because judging by the fact that you hadn't raped any of them, the answer is obvious!"
Kiba stared coldly at Freed as he chucked the wife's head away and walked to the wife's body.
Freed: "Fucking amateur! You were supposed to rape his wife while he watched before you kill her at the climax! Then you show him her face of pure ecstasy and death before you fuck her dead corpse too!"
He then shoved his fist into the exposed throat hole and then thrusted it back and forth violently. Freed turned to Kiba with a psychotic smile as he laughed.
Freed: "Then you were to cut her up and make the other two eat her!"
He then drove his fist as deep as he could, to the point you could see it from the exposed rib cage. Freed looked down and noticed this before smiling wider.
Freed: "Peek-A-Boo! Ahahahahahaha!"
Pulling his arm out of the body, Freed walked over to the daughter's body.
Freed: "Another rookie mistake! Why in the ever living fuck of a cunt would you give them a way to kill themselves?!"
Kiba said nothing as he began cleaning his clothes and gloves in the sink.
Freed: "And you didn't rape her! Not your type, eh?! I better not find out that the pin cushion has an asshole twice it's normal size!"
Freed grabbed the sword that had the daughter's head before pulling on it, tearing her head clean from her body. He smiled satisfied as he waved it around.
Freed: "Gonna save this for later, kekekeke!"
Freed then walked over to the father's body as he inspected it. He whipped out his holy sword before removing the chair that was still stuck to his corpse. Seeing that he couldn't see everything, he turned to Kiba with an annoyed look.
Freed: "Hey, pretty boy! Get this shit out of here, can't see shit with your dildos sticking into him."
The swords suddenly contracted back into the ground as the body that now looked like a sponge dropped to the ground. Freed turned it over and ripped the shirt open. His face scrunched up in frustration before he turned around and smashed a bookshelf down.
Once the dust settled, where the bookshelf used to be now had a demonic circle on the wallpaper.
Freed: "BINGO! Kiba, get your ass over here!"
Kiba walked toward the symbol while analyzing it. He then walked away to his bag that was by the doorway and fetched a book. Opening it, he turned to a certain page and on it was a similar demonic circle.
Kiba: "Gremory."
Freed: "JACKPOT!"
Kiba nodded his head in agreement before grabbing his things. Just as he was about to leave, Freed grabbed his shoulder.
Freed: "Where the fuck do you think you're going, little dick?"
Kiba looked at him confusingly.
Kiba: "To find Valper Galilei, of course."
Freed looked at him angrily before he spread his arms out to indicate the whole room.
Freed: "How about you clean up your mess! I may be a psychopath who belongs in a mental insane asylum, but at least I know how to clean up my shit!"
Kiba glared at him as he didn't want to waste anymore time now that he finally had a lead, but the serious look from Freed made him reconsider.
Freed: "Professionals have standards! You did it, you clean it!"
Kiba didn't respond as he glared at him before finally nodding his head. Seeing this, Freed then turned around and proceeded to walk into the hallway with the daughter's head still impaled by the sword.

Shopping District: Park
3rd POV
Issei and Yuuma walked down the street before arriving back at the spot of when they started the day. Yuuma had a bear plushie that Issei had won for her in the arcade, among other things. After the whole incident this morning, Yuuma tried her best to makes Issei have the greatest time, though she could tell that he was still thinking about something.
Yuuma wasn't picky about food or pleasantries so she had suggested that they try fast food for lunch. The mood lightened when Issei found out it was her first time trying out fast food. It was at that point where their little tour turned to what felt like a date.
They didn't realize it, but as more time went on, the more they opened up and the more natural they acted with one another. Yuuma had even slipped up and spoke rudely in her Raynare personality, and was surprised when Issei didn't even bat an eye and just laughed.
That crane game was infuriating though, so who could blame her.
Yuuma had even gotten to see that smile that Issei had. And the difference between the one in the morning and the one he had now was as clear as night and day. She felt her cheeks warm as she stared at his smile that seemed to brighten when the setting sun hit it just right.
Issei was of the same thought.
Throughout the entire day, he would constantly glance at her and see what was wrong with her. Ddraig offered to help in helping him understand but Issei declined. He wanted to figure this out himself, this was something between the two of them.
And so, throughout the day, Issei would catch glimpses into her actual personality. She would release a curse under breath when she thought he couldn't hear, but thanks to the training he got from Ddraig, he could hear it just fine. Yuuma would also genuine smile at times like when he won her that bear she was holding.
It was in those moments when Issei felt that feeling in his chest ignite to something more. A consuming flame that just grew larger and larger, with the fuel being her smile.
The sun was setting as its lights shine down on both of them. They sat on the bench where she previously sat on as they enjoyed each other's presence. Neither wanted to say a word, for they both were scared that if they did then the end of the day would arrive.
They had unknowingly locked their hands together as their fingers intertwined. Yuuma sighed a content sigh as she leaned on his shoulder. The warm feeling in her chest reminded her of Y/n but even more passionate and more fierce.
Their moments of tranquility were put to an end when Issei's phone rang, breaking them out of their lovey-dovey trance. Issei stumbled to get his phone out of his pocket while Yuuma released her hand from his and hid her face behind the bear.
Yuuma: 'W-W-What the fuck was that?! W-What the hell happened to me?! The whole day just blurred by in what felt like seconds!"
Issei answered the call from his Father before his face slowly went from embarrassed to more serious. Gone was his smile as he had a flat was too busy thinking about how stupid she looked and how she probably fucked it up to hear what the conversation was about.
When the call ended, Issei turned to Yuuma and tapped her shoulder. Yuuma noticed his serious look before giving him a concerned look.
Yuuma: "Is everything okay?"
Issei swallowed the lump in his throat as he debated whether to tell her or not. After a few seconds, he decided against it as he didn't want to worry or ruin the mood more than he already had.
Issei: "I'm fine, but I think it's time for us to go. We have school tomorrow and I have some work that needs to be done."
Yuuma looked confusingly at him with also a hint of sadness.
Yuuma: "I-It's not because of me is it?"
She softly asked, causing Issei's eyes to widen. He quickly shook his head.
Issei: "No, no, no, it's not your fault at all. I really enjoyed our time today. In fact, I'd say that I would like to do this again."
Yuuma's eyes widened before she stared at him with an almost expecting look.
Yuuma: "Issei, can I ask you something?"
Issei tilted his head at her, which she thought was cute, before he spoke.
Issei: "S-Sure."
Yuuma breathed in and out. This was the moment that she didn't even know she was waiting for.
Yuuma: "Do you consider our time together today to be a date?"
Issei froze as his mind analyzed her face. Yuuma's face was blank and gave no indication of where she was going with the question. Issei didn't know when, but he had started to sweat as he stared intently into her eyes, as if they had the answers.
Questions swam in his head. Was this a test? A joke? Would she be disgusted by him for liking her so quickly? Or would she simply say that they should stay as friends?
Even though his heart pounded in fear and anxiety, Issei cleared his throat to give his answer. It was now or never. Whether he falls or rises up, he wanted to at least give he an honest answer since it was what she deserved.
Yuuma fidgeted under his gaze as she nervously wondered if she asked something wrong. But that worry was for naught when Issei cleared his throat and the last remnants of the sunlight shined onto him.
Issei: "Yuuma."
He called out to her as her attention was all on him. His eyes pierced hers with such determination and intensity that she almost felt weak in her knees. Her heart pounded like a war drum as she anxiously waited for his answer.
Issei: "I don't know what answer you are expecting, let alone the way you will respond. But I'll give you my most honest answer."
Yuuma's breath hitched as he smiled at her with the warmest and loveliest smile she had seen him make in their short time together.
It was one she wanted to cherish for the rest of her eternal life.
Issei: "To me...it was."
Issei didn't know what to say after that and instead watched for a reaction. Yuuma didn't do anything for the first few seconds, and Issei was worried that she was contemplating on how to let him down slowly. But that blank look on her suddenly turned to one of the most beautiful smiles he had ever been graced with.
More dignified than Souna's.
More elegant than Tsubaki's.
More charming than Rina's.
More seductive than Akeno's.
The smile that he was seeing now was one he knew he would die for.
Yuuma: "Me, too."
In that moment, their minds were plagued by the thought of each other.
One more intense than the other.
If someone were to ask Issei if he would die for her at this very moment, Issei wouldn't hesitate to do it twice.
If someone were to ask Yuuma what she would give to keep this moment going, she wouldn't hesitate to offer the world.
If someone were to ask Raynare what she would do to keep him by her side, she wouldn't hesitate with her answer:
"I would even kill God to keep you by my side."

Kuoh Town: Residential Area
Gorou's POV
Hiroshi and I stood in front of the home as cops surrounded the front lawn and road. Nobody dared to enter the house as all the cops stood outside. Some either scared shitless like they just witnessed the end of time, while the others had blank looks.
One of the officers noticed us standing here before walking in our direction.
Officer: "Detective Hyoudou?"
I silently nodded my head.
Officer: "Come with me."
I followed behind him as Hiroshi silently followed my footsteps. Instead of taking us to the inside of the house like I expected, he brought us to the side where two highschool kids sat on the seats of the cop car.
Officer: "These are the two witnesses who saw what happened in there. Thought you ought to take their part into account before you walk in there."
I nodded my head as he walked away. I pulled out my notepad and pen from my suit and kneeled to get a better look at the two. The first one close to me was a petite young girl with white hair, the other was a young boy with white blonde hair. Both looked to be in their late middle school to early high school years.
Gorou: "May I have your names please?"
I slowly asked them. The white haired one nodded white the other shivered. The first one reminded me of Issei's teacher that came by a few weeks ago. I wonder if this was one of his kids.
Koneko: "I'm Toujou Koneko. This is Valdi Gasper."
She spoke in a monotone voice that made me quirk an eyebrow. Judging from her name, she wasn't related to him but the way she spoke was similar. Just to make sure, I decided to ask.
Gorou: "Are you related to L/n Y/n by any chance?"
She gave me a look as if I was stupid but I decided to brush that off and continue with the important questions.
After a few minutes of asking questions, I thanked the two kids and turned to Hiroshi who was absentmindedly staring at the entrance of the house. Judging by the story that they had given me, I wouldn't be surprised if he suddenly wanted to drop this homicide case.
Gorou: "Detective Hiroshi, if you want to sit this one out then you can do so."
He didn't turn to me but shook his head. I didn't find another reason to get him to stay outside so instead I tilted my head to tell him I'm going inside.
From the description that we were given by those who already went inside, I am expecting the inside to look like a grinder. I glanced in the direction of Hiroshi who was shaking in fear. I could understand his situation, only two years of service and still new to murder cases. The fact he was young didn't help either.
Regardless, I stopped him before we entered the house as I took a lighter and my pack of cigarettes out. I lit one and blew it out as I felt myself calm and the air become filled with the smell of smoke. I had wondered why the smell hadn't reached outside, but put that into the back of my mind as I stepped my foot in first.
It was in that moment when the potent smell of death and iron that commonly accompanied murders hit me in full force. The smell from my cig did almost little to nothing to help. I heard Hiroshi gag before running out of the house and throwing up. I didn't blame him, the smell almost made me want to run out as well.
With only the smell of the cig to keep me from nauseating, I walked deeper into the house and followed the police tape and trail of blood. The trail led me to the living room where the dim lights of candles were still lit.
Once my eyes adjusted to the room, my eyes widened before the cigarette dropped out of my mouth and fell to the floor. I didn't even try to pick it up as I ran out of the house and gagged on the porch. Nothing came out of his mouth as he breathed in the fresh air in chunks. His mind was filled with images he wished he hadn't seen.
When he finally was able to breathe calmly, he glared at the cops who hadn't witnessed the scene and were standing while doing nothing.
Gorou: 'If someone tells me it was the goddamn yakuza, again, I'll bust a cap in their ass!'

(A/n)
Let's go! I was waiting to do this chapter ever since people voted for me to go apeshit with Kiba's story!
How did you like the way I did Raynare/Yuuma?
Did you like the way I incorporated that cliche question that every fanfic has her ask?
If you guys are wondering, I am gonna make Raynare/Yuuma a yandere. Why? Because I love yanderes! They're fun to read and write about. Plus I think I gave her enough justification to be one, she's messed up in the head and there will be moments when her personality will clash with itself.
Was this chapter good?
For my very first gore and graphic scene, how was it?
Too much?
Too little?
I will be experimenting a lot with this story. I will do at least a single lemon for practice and to see if I can even write them good. I don't know who I'll make it between, but that's for the future me to worry about.
Any criticism for me?
And lastly, do you guys have any questions for me?
That's all and I hope to see you in the next chapter!
